The Royal council has decided to create a new institution within the Egelian government that will help promote and organize Egelian diplomacy on the world stage. The new Institute of Egelian Diplomacy (Instituto de Diplomacia Egeliana - IDE) will help organize Egelian diplomacy. The institute is responsible for both training the future of the Egelian diplomatic missions and organizing current relations with partner nations. The IDE itself is under the direct oversight of Royal Councilor Mondragon, who oversees matters of International Relations for King Romulo.
The IDE has released public records of nations who have well-existing and positive relationships with Egelion. These nations often have embassies and consulates that operate fully in Altea. All treaties that were approved during the reign of each king are shown on the institute's website. According to the release of information by Royal Councilor Mondragon, not all treaties have been updated yet and are soon to be present on the website. The most important treaties, however, have been listed by the institute itself.
The IDE will be used, according to Mondragon, as a medium to continue expanding Egelian diplomacy and ideals beyond its near region. Already, the Royal Councilor has invited members from Utaristan and Kalopia to open embassies and living quarters in Altea, proving that the institute is already working successfully. With the lack of a true foreign ministry that exists within other democratic nations, the IDE will make treaty making and state visits easier for Egelion--and of course easy to create partnerships across the globe.

Another wave of vapid international headlines hit Altea this afternoon, this time on behalf of the increasingly reckless Empire of Ananto. Comments made their way to the halls of El Capitolio in Altea, making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The Kalistani ramblings at first perplexed the Royal Councilors who demanded to know if the comments were fabricated at all. To their surprise, comments came directly from Kaliburg, who blamed Egelion on a policy of "alienation". High Councilor Formoselle, still amazed at the audacity coming from across the pond, gathered his thoughts with Royal Councilor Mondragon, who was also confused at the nature of accusatory statements.
When asked about the talks of alienation, High Councilor Formoselle remained a bit flustered. "What? Does Kalistan think the world revolves around them? No. They may have the delusion that all attention must be placed on them, but not here in Altea. We have a connection of friends and allies in this world that we must attend to. We cannot attend to Kalistan's every demand like a lap dog. Let us be realistic." High Councilor addressed the accusation that Egelion had not been a part of Anantonese Ocean treaties upon the incomplete release of the IDE's website. "We have been a part of the treaties, both treaties might I say, since we invited Kalistani officials in Altea and when we visited them decades ago. For them to make a rash decision based on incomplete information is beyond us, but we understand the lack of attention to critical decisions since, we have recently seen, the Empress reacts the same way. Perhaps, we should leave these agreements, as they have made the decision for us it seems."
Royal Councilor Mondragon stated that it was "unfair" for Kalistan to blame Egelion for alienation, when Egelion has been one of Kalistan's true friends for decades. "I think it is an asinine position for the empire to take when Egelion has been cooperative with Kalistan for a long time. I, however, understand that Kalistan sees a threat in our rise as a power. This is not about alienation, it is about control. Kalistan feels threatened. These talks of self-victimization have no basis, but to simply act as a veil to their own fears. We are not here to rival Kalistan, but to make a name for our country. If they cannot handle our foreign policy they have two options, accept it as it is, or get out of the way.
Comments were made about Kalistan's commitment to global affairs, which evidently only includes fighting fascists. High Councilor Formoselle discussed their attempts at safeguarding democracy for Seleyan nations. "How can we trust a nation, who themselves despise democracy, to handle speaking up for democratic nations globally? We cannot have it. Egelion has helped several nations--and the Romulo Fund has been used several times by several nations. To say it is deceased is either pure ignorance or plain stupidity. How are we expected to take Kalistani leadership seriously when it victimizes itself, accuses us of alienation, and is inconsistent?"
The Kalistani ramblings ended with yet another mention of the war in Kundrati, which Kalistan has wasted several resources to help continue. Royal Councilor wasted no time telling reporters that she was not interested on the subject. "Listen, we made our stance clear, we reject fascism, but we're not equipped or interested in sending troops to the cursed land. We have no emotion regarding Kalistan's commitment to the war. King Romulo is certainly not upset with the results and the fatuous change of opinion the young Empress experienced. In fact, we encourage the Empress to keep sending Kalistani troops until the job is done--since it seems to be an issue the Kalistani are willing to die for."
High Councilor Formoselle and Royal Councilor Mondragon stated that Kalistan is more than welcomed to retract their statements and issue an apology for the accusations against Egelion. "We understand that this is a difficult request to make for the Empire, says Formoselle. "But this is a grave misunderstanding against His Majesty and the people. We can continue having a good relationship with the empire, but not if they continue to set us out as enemies as they have done for the past few years." We simply cannot accept accusations against us as a means for them to continue their imperialistic ambitions. Altea hopes Kalistan can revert their words, if not, we pray to the Lord that they have enough gems to rebuild the walls that will soon crumble around them."

The Institute of Egelian Diplomacy, the IDE, planned two new state visits to two Dovanian countries: Utaristan and Bianjie. The organization of the state visits comes days after communication with both governments were initiated by Royal Councilor Mondragon. Thanks to new processes at the IDE, the state visits were facilitated and organized effectively, leaving very little bureaucratic delays. Royal Councilor Mondragon departed Altea-Soledad International Airport (ASX) this afternoon with intentions of landing in Utaristan first before making the way down to Bianjie.
Among topics of discussion in Dovani, Mondragon will work with Utaristan so they can begin to receive economic aid via the Romulo Fund, which was been used several times by Dovanian nations since the Conference of Altea. Mondragon also pledged that Egelion would help with investments in Utaristan and Bianjie to ensure both countries have access to a diverse set of funds. Grants established by the IDE will be provided to the government of both nations. These grants, ranging from 5 to 10 million Egelian Crowns, are purposed so students may travel abroad and study in Egelian Universities, covering their housing, tuition, and life expenses. The grants may also be used to improve academic curriculum in both nations by tapping into the vast resources at the Real Acadmia Egeliana. The Real Academia will help Utaristan and Bianjie with funding and academic resources to bring more opportunities to their students--free of cost. Whether Utaristan and Bianjie accept these resurces is uknown, but Mondragon will offer the grants nonetheless.

Cheers for Royal Councilor Mondragon were loud and abrupt when she landed in Gongmangdo for a scheduled state visit between both nations. The IDE contacted the royal government in Baeguk to begin arrangements for Mondragon, who had just returned from Utaristan and Bianjie not long ago. The IDE made it clear that Altea was looking to "deepen and connect" both countries due to close proximity and a shared history--one of the reasons Mondragon flew to Baeguk. Royal Councilor Mondragon landed early in the morning on June 4th, with a crowd ready to greet her and welcome her to the Dovanian nation. She was directed with personal guard to the Teal House, the residency of the Prime Minister.
Royal Councilor Mondragon arrived at the residency, and met with the Prime Minister. Mondragon arrived with two goals in mind: to officially declare an apology and declaration of sovereignty over the Udongdo Island dispute, and to forge a new partnership with Baeguk on culture, economics, and security. Mondragon gave the Prime Minister, during a live broadcast, an official declaration written and signed by King Romulo, that apologized for Egelion's role in the suffering of the people of Udongdo Island, and officially declared it Baeguk's sovereign territory--despite an agreement already being in place. Mondragon stated that Egelion "is not looking to engage in furthering imperialism or being proud of past grievances" the nation aims to "heal and build, not divide and destroy".
Among other things, the proclamation of sovereignty for Udongdo comes with a 5 million Egelian Crown Grant for the Government of Baeguk to use for education purposes: expanding curriculum and access to national history especially concerning the dispute of the island. Mondragon also laid out plans for cooperation between both countries. The Royal Council hopes to approve naval stationing and patrols between Egelion and Baeguk. Specifically, active patrols would begin in the White Ocean and in the Yadraz Sea--the body of water between Baeguk and Egelion. Free trade deals and cultural diffusion were also spoken of, considering the popularity of skincare products in Egelion. Overall, Mondragon headed into this meeting with reconciliation, cooperation, and hope. Thankfully, upon her return to Altea, she will have created a successful partnership for both nations.

After Teresa's stunning win in the 35th edition of FOMAT, the people of Egelion are ecstatic over the nation's very first win in the global music competition. Thanks to tradition of the FOMAT system, the winner always receives hosting rights. Thanks to Egelion's win, the 36th edition will be held in the Kerisian nation.The Real Academia Egeliana, the institute which controls all matters of culture and language in Egelion, were tasked with organizing the new edition of FOMAT in Egelion. The Real Academia chose Altea to host FOMAT. The Academia obviously chose Altea due to its overall quality of life, beauty, and focus on city planning that makes it easy to receive a large tourist crowd. Altea, which has undergone a massive infrastructural and architectural change over the past 20 years, is the prime spot to host the most important festival in Terra.
FOMAT will be held at the Jardines de Altiflor. It is a concert venue that was built in the middle of the Altiflor Gardens, which are funded in part by the Royal Family. The venue seats 50,000 people but has space for another 15,000 in the entire gardens. FOMAT will be taking place at 19:00 hrs at the Jardines de Altifor in a few years. Details will be released by the Real Academia soon.

In a final set of state visits to help finalize Altea's foreign policy for the next decade, Royal Councilor Mondragon made her way to Bannerhafen and Auroria in an attempt to solidify Egelion's diplomatic presence near Migrant's Pass and Majatra. Mondragon's visit to Auroria resulted in a bountiful set of trades with the Selucian government which included a major deal of several goods. Egelion will begin to receive several shipments of gold, silver, marble, stone, sugar cane and wine. These supplies will go directly to Egelion, with some already mentioning that marble and gold will head directly to Altea for architectural purposes.
As part of the deal, Egelion will help provide Selucia a constant stream of petroleum and oil-based products. Petroleon, Egelion's state-owned oil and gas corporation, will soon begin to export oil straight to Selucia. The Selucian-government claimed that oil products were "of necessity" and that cooperation with Petroleon was "greatly appreciated". Beyond economic deals, the nations will engage in closer cultural connections. Already, Selucian language and thought is taught in Egelian schools thanks to the nationwide ideology of Enlightened Absolutism. The Real Academia Egeliana will soon open a satellite office in Auroria to begin spreading the Egelian language and culture through Majatra.
Mondragon's journey ended with a meeting with President Egon Demelmann of the Triad Republic in Bannerhafen. The meeting was quick and simple, as requested by Bannerhafen. Mondragon spoke of the importance of relations between Keris and Artania--especially since the end of the Second Kundrati Civil War. Altea remains committed to a partnership with Bannerhafen: one that includes striving for global peace and ensuring that global markets remain safe from the harm of war. The visit in Bannerhafen was cordial and overall happy for both parties. Mondragon stated that she still acknowledges the influence that comes the Migrant's Pass community and will do anything to ensure that the relationship between Altea and the Migrant' Pass remains positive.

The Royal Directory of the Armed Forces have announced the successful launch and start of the ATENEA Missile System, an improved replica of the Canrillaise-Dundorfian SOTERIA system. According to Royal Councilor Montalivet, who took over matters of the military after Councilor Ortega's departure, the new system had two different rocket launches take place last night in Caille in order to set up the atmospheric tracking systems for the system. The system was able to launch thanks to a combined effort from Amudim technology, Canrillaise aeronautics, and engineering from the Polytechnical University of Yadraz. The ATENEA Missile System was designated by the Royal Directory with the help of several university experts, engineers, professionals, and using high quality information from Canrille and Amudim. Press questioned how the nation was able to receive Canrillaise and Amudim technology. Responses from Royal Councilor Montalivet were vague, but stated that there "were talks between both governments discreetly where trade and agreements were reached for cooperation."
The ATENEA missile defense system comes with a full array of several missiles capable of destroying, short, medium, and medium-to-long, range missiles within a certain radius around Egelion, and parts of New Endralon and Kizenia. The missile system is capable of being set of maritime vessels, which Novantica has begun to do with parts of the Northern Armada. With a full set of radar systems in the Temarian mountains, down to the Valley of Iris near Altea, and to the coasts of Yadraz, the whole nation has coverage from aerial attacks and includes a prompt early warning system. The Institute of Egelian Intelligence (the IDE) will also use ATENEA system as surveillance and reconnaissance over global threats, further deepening the impact the system has. Royal Councilor Montalivet also stated that the Directory and the IDE were working on an "offensive aspect" to the system that SOTERIA never acquired, but that the system was at least a couple months away from completion. The system began production over 10 years ago, but was expidited thanks to foreign cooperation. The operating cost for ATENEA will be in the billions, but many in Egelion feel more safe than the current system that flied over Canrille and Dundorf. Many believe that this system has elevated Egelion's defense mechanisms tenfold. Montalivet states that ATENEA, named after the Kalopian Goddess of War and Strategy, is now operational and is protecting Kerisian skies from potential foes. Once the sword joins the shield, the system will be the leading model of aerial defenses that has transpired through several nations over several hundreds of years.

After more than a decade of limited meetings, appearances, and official photographs, King Romulo and Queen Nicole have finally decided to present the Prince of Amateria and the Princesa Carlota to the world. At a very populated public press conference at Villamor Palace, King Romulo and Queen Nicole walked to a podium with both children next to them. They both stepped back from the children and let them stand together at the front for the world to see. The Prince of Amateria, Artemio and Princesa Carlota: the future of Egelion. Millions on social media commented on their image and the way they were presented for the first time. The prince and princess both were dressed in Egelion's national colors: a dark burgundy, gold and white. The Princess wore a traditional, yet simple Caillean dress while the Prince of Amateria displayed his allegiance to the Ghadrashi people by wearing a golden ring of a sea horse.
After a few basic questions and more pictures, King Romulo took the podium with Queen Nicole who explained the futures of the young royals. According to King Romulo, both Prince Artemio and Princess Carlota have been attending La Academia Real de Altiflor San Mares in Altea. Here, they have enrolled with 600 other students and have engaged in several courses such as languages, classical thought, history, world cultures, mathematics, literature, writing, speech, public administration, and governance. The prince and princess have several private tutors that specifically teach them on their roles as royals and the enlightened thought that goes with leading Egelion. Both royals will be experts in Enlightened Absolutism by the end of their schooling in 4 fear's. At the age of 17, Prince Artemio will begin military service in Cartablanca with the Royal Marines, while the Princess Carlota will begin taking over some of the Montalivet charities in Egelion.

King Romulo and Queen Nicole were both proud and happy at the development of their children. Romulo stated that he is "hopeful and excited" to see their children grow up in a happy, progressive, and modern country. He stated that he could not see them growing up elsewhere as Egelion has designed a system where absolute rule, democracy, and forward-thinking can co-exist. Queen Nicole was content and excited to see her children up and in front of the cameras. "Since the bombing at the Royal Opera house, I was concerned Artemio would be different, but he has used his experiences as a strength he fears nobody, not death itself", stated the Queen. King Romulo stated that Sorseula Palace would continue to update the Egelian world on the developments of the princes, stating that "I age everyday. The age of Romulo is almost complete and the world must prepare for the reign of Artemio. I believe the Prince of Amateria will be well-prepared to inherit not only the Crown of the Lion, but the problems that we face in Terra."
