Is the absolute monarchy failing in Pontesi?

Melikvan- The government of Pontesi is getting more and more pressure from the people and instancies. On social media we can read a lot of critique towards the king and other leaders. Also experts have been warning the government and the people that Pontesi is at the brick of collapsing. From labour shortages and unpayable healthcare to too low wages and bad working enviroments.
Experts are worried that their aren't enough teachers, nurses, doctors and firemen to uphold the needs of the nation. Heathcare appears to be unaffordable for the people, wich leads to unsafe situations in households, schools and work enviroments, so says Arusak Pasdermadijan Proffesor at the university of Melikvan, schools and hospital aren't fully staffed and the workload is getting too high. It is getting worse every month and it doesn't appear that the government is taking action towards the crisis.
Also on social media, people are expressing their discontent towards unpayable healthcare, no minimum wages and no working regulations. After the death of a employee at Thaller-Siran in Grekaladzor last month wich led to furious reactions, from strikes in warehouses and factories demanding wage increases to nationalisation of healthcare. Proffessor Arusak also states that people are avoiding to go to the doctor or hospital wich leads to dangerous situations like the one in Thaller-Siran and if the government doesn't act on it, it will become a regular thing.
Mikael Aznouvour a professor of economics at the university of Melikvan warns the government to act immediately as the economy of Pontesi is declining as well, as people are getting more and more worried about their financial situations the less they will buy, wich will hurt the economy more. Also states that internationally Pontesi's reputation is already very low, losing its influence in the migrants pass and the 3 point federation is hurting Pontesi economically, with the combination of Beiteynu, now Amudin, losing all of it influence and Pontesi relying on that is hurting Pontesi on every level.
Wich leads to the question if the absolute monarchy is failing? Expert on politics and historian Keshen Keshorian replied to our reporter:
Yes, the absolute monarchy is failing miserably. They have leaned to much on Beiteynu, now Amudin, and Narikuton&Darnussia for its finances and reputation. After the war with Istalia they have taken immediate actions to recover from it, wich they did thanks to the help of their allies and their partnership in the Jelbic empire, but they have failed to become independant, wich is hurting on every level now. Not being able to keep healthcare payable, avoinding labourshortages, not putting regulations like a minimum wage and working conditions. Not to speak about not distancing themself of some horrondous actions of their allies, has led to todays situation.
On social media we also see a lot of disagreements and discontent on the situation where Pontesi is in. One noteable person on social media is Krikor Melikyan, we have made contact with him and asked him what he thinks of the situation and maybe on how he would see how he could better Pontesi.
First, we have to see towards our past, the government back then has done some great things that made sure companies came in and build, the economy thrived under that, they made sure they had some influence in some parts of Terra, wich increased the economy and the reputation of Pontesi. But after the nuke of Xsampa by Beiteynu, Pontesi didn't distanced themself enough of Beiteynu, wich proved their dependance on their allies. Even if you're friend does something wrong, you can tell them, they are wrong, because if you can't, is it a real friend?
So if we want to proceed and get better, we need to learn from that, and get more independant. Second, we need more regulations, from minimum wages, to safe working conditions on the workplace and nationalise healthcare again. I know some people and politicians will say that that is communism, wich isnt, it is taking care of our people who the government needs to work, to aafford military, police, etc... A healthy and happy person will work better then anyone else. In the economy, we need a fully free market, instead of having some national companies, who costs us more then we gain of it. That are the 3 things that need to be changed immediately, but the crown is too busy bading in their wealth they stole of the people.

Protests errupts in Melikvan and other big cities, strikes in companies and riots.

Melikvan- Thousands of people have set march in the streets of melikvan and other big cities to show their discontent about the situation in Pontesi. Their marching towards the royale palace, shouting for more pay, better healthcare and saftey for the workers. Also in the march we hear sounds for more influence on the global stages, and the migrants pass.
Vartan Manukyan a 23 year old, recently graduated at the university of Melikvan with political science, is one of the organisers, told us that

Quote:it is time that Pontesi thinks of its people, more pay and payable healthcare is not only necessary, but the most humane thing to do, but also to stop relying on so called allies, who do not share the best intrest for Pontesi, it is time for independance. Pontesi can become great with right guidance, and not with the current situation.
in the afternoon the police came in with severe force, wich led the protesters to start rioting and damaging infrastructure, shops and policecars. 153 people got injured and 23 cops where taken to the hospital. the pressure on the government is getting immens and the situation is getting out of control.
King Arham Arevyan is silent against the media, rumour says that he is preparing to give the crown to his son Aeris II, as he is getting old. A spokesmen of the royal palace has said, that the king is willing to listen to the demands of the people and look to compromise for the better of Pontesi.

Melikvan- Reports have coming in of big protest marches in the streets of Melikvan and other bigcities. From students, workers, nurses to families. It seems a coalition of differant ideologies with on purpose, to install a true democraty true elections.
Also reports came in stating that there have dozens of arrests, people where spreading communistic propaganda wich is still illegal in Pontesi. Also some marches became violant after the police intervened after reports of some anti-yeudi slurs wich caused uneasy with the yeudi community harshly represented in Melikvan.
Also protests at the doors of the Thaller-Siran factory for more safety measures and some slogans where found stating they sold Pontesi.
