Minister of Foreign Affairs Antzerti Bazkunaren announced in a press conference that he will meet with his counterparts from Egelion within the next few days.

The meeting, which will include a tour of Etxea to examine the reconstruction and development of the country, will be attended by individuals from the Government of Egelion alongside the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of National Defense Stefan Andrijovych Mykhajlenko, their staffs, and a contingent of soldiers to escort the group around. The large delegation will be grouped to ensure a similar message and prevent much disruption.

The tour of Etxea will include various stops along the road from Jildrati City to western Etxea to examine the areas and look at the redevelopment, for example, the new ESK housing projects, road clearing, house construction in general, and the new power grid upgrades that are being worked on at the moment. The hope is that from there, Egelion could provide investment to Etxea at least to speed up the redevelopment, which is currently reliant on funds from the Romulo Fund.

Tonight, President Tiberius Claudius Nero has announced the passage of the Institutional Act No.11 by the National Rejuvenation Council. The Institutional Act is a mini-constitution declaring, among many other things, that the Constitution of Kundrati remains in force and that acts by the Legion in effect in Etxea will remain so unless repealed or amended by the President. The President, Tiberius Claudius Nero, has declared that laws that are abhorrant to the international rule of law will be abolished on a case by case basis and that he will reintroduce the War Crimes Act 5315 which was repealed under the Legionary State which allowed persons in Kundrati and from Kundrati to be convicted if they commit war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Institutional Act was passed by unanimous approval of the National Rejuvenation Council alongside a similar vote by the Legebiltzarra, which was held in a private session. President Tiberius Claudius Nero has said that he will work to dissolve the National Rejuvenation Council after the elections and that the Institutional Act, which passed, will assist in that by streamlining administration and legislation.

In the same address, the President also declared that he had dissolved the Parliament with effect from 14 July 5626 and that new elections would be held on 24 February 5627. The election was thought to be held later in 5627 due to better climate conditions. However, the President noted in his address that bringing the election closer shows confidence that the democratic institutions of the Union are mature enough to handle free and fair elections without supervision of the NRC.

Four parties will contest the election: the Kundrati People's Party which is the oldest party in the Union and is considered centrist, the Party for the Rejuvenation of the Kundrati Nation led by their Presidential candidate Androniko Ibargoyara and is considered centre left, alongside the Aliantza which is big tent though usually seen as social democratic led by Bruno Gruno with the Presidential candidate being Marte Elorduigoitia, and finally the conservative National Kundrati Party led by Prometeo Domaiquia. Signature collection is expected to last throughout the rest of the month, with the campaign season beginning in August, which shall run to the end of January 5627.

Reports have come out that a missile has hit the village of Aligua in the middle of the island of Etxea this morning as the delegation including the Royal Councillor of Egelion Mondragon and the Minister of National Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kundrati Union and their entourage was passing through heading to a small market to examine it's wares alongside the general area.

The missile struck a house and left a crater where the house was. The surrounding houses were heavily damaged and some of them caught fire as the missile exploded. At least seven people are confirmed dead and another thirty are injured as the local health clinic was overwhelmed. The military convoy that was escorting the entourage moved into the village to provide protection and provide first aid to the affected village which is nwo on lockdown with more military troops and medics rushing to the area to tend for the individuals who were injured. The Etxean Garrison Command of the Armed Forces of the Kundrati Union has assigned a larger military convoy to the entourage as it is suspected the missile strike was either to target the entourage or intimidate them.

The President of the Kundrati Union, Tiberius Claudius Nero, will be visiting the village tomorrow to provide assistance. He has said that the Kundrati Legion could be the only country responsible for this attack and that the Kundrati Union will not be intimidated into silence. He has also said that though the missile strike could influence the Egelian visit that he believes that this proves that the Kundrati Union, by working hard on it's rebuilding efforts, will exist in spite of the Legion until the death of the Legion. His popularity rating has also skyrocketed in the wake of the missile strike going from 59% to 73%.

There were celebrations throughout the island today as it was announced that, after a turnout of 1,002,924 people in the election and a crowded field of four candidates, incumbent President Tiberius Claudius Nero won the election.

The campaign was loud, with four candidates and four parties. The incumbent, Tiberius Claudius Nero of the centrist Kundrati People's Party, advocated for creating the Ministry of Unification and focusing their efforts and money on rebuilding the country through rebuilding infrastructure, housing projects, and the power grid. The Kundrati People's Party also advocated strongly against the Kundrati Legion, who had, reportedly, launched a missile strike months ago as a delegation from the Government of Egelion was passing through. In terms of the campaign, there were many rallies throughout Jildrati City and the rest of the island as KPP candidates visited the rural areas and volunteered for community service to bolster their campaign.

Androniko Ibargoyara of the social democratic Party for the Rejuvenation of the Kundrati Nation ran for the second time in his career for the Presidency. He advocated for a foreign policy focusing on Seleya, reopening ties with Kalistan, and establishing relations with Valruzia. Ibargoyara has said that, if elected, he would also establish a ministry-level office for unification. However, the focus will mainly be on working with the victims of the Legion and assisting them with their lives. His party had a strong campaign push in western Etxea, with their candidates visiting local markets and villages.

The National Kundrati Party formed in 5623 and is considered a conservative Hosian democratic party. Led by their Presidential candidate Prometeo Domaiquia, the NKP focused on the economy and foreign affairs. Calling on the Legion to stop their attacks, Domaiquia called on the international community to help the Kundrati Union fight off the Legion and said that if he won, he would work with states that fight against the far-left and the far-right to gain recognition and isolate the Legion economically.

Aliantza, whose Presidential candidate is Marte Elorduigoitia, is also a social democratic party, though unlike the PRKN, it was also focused on minority rights. If elected, it would form a policy of having an open border, encouraging anyone to immigrate to the Kundrati Union and expanding the labor pool. According to Elorduigoitia, the hope is to allow the Kundrati Union to grow its economy and outshine the Legion in the Artanian economy.

The results were, after a turnout of 1,002,924 people, that Tiberius Claudius Nero won with 695,530 votes compared to 114,220 votes for Ibargoyara, 111,035 votes for Domaiquia, and 82,139 votes for Elorduigoitia. In addition, out of the 90 seats available in the Legebiltzarra (a reminder that 46 seats constitute a majority), the KPP won 58 seats, the PRKN won 22 seats, the NKP won 6 seats, and Aliantza won the remaining 4 seats.

In a meeting with the Cabinet, President Tiberius Claudius Nero announced the proclamation of the Ministry of Unification and Stability (Bateratze eta Estatu Egonkortasun Ministerioa, BEM) to handle matters regarding the illegitimate Legionary state and the territory of the Kundrati Union that is not part of the Free Zone. President Tiberius Claudius Nero said that by integrating and creating this ministry, he was streamlining the government's internal affairs without needlessly bloating another ministry (possibly referring to the Ministry of Internal Affairs).

The Ministry of Unification and Stability (BEM) will be charged with establishing the policy with regard to the Kundrati Union's relationship with the illegitimate Legion, providing rules and opportunities for inter-Kundrati cooperation, educating the public in relation to unification, and coordinating any inter-Kundrati dialogue. The BEM will be provided with an office in Jildrati City alongside a team of staff and a budget from the national budget. The BEM will chair its first meeting in May, and the President is expected to attend. The BEM will also host its first summit regarding reunification and education on reunification sometime in September to teach the people the benefits of reunification under the Union's terms.

Following the establishment of the BEM, the Department of State Affairs will also be formed under the BEM. The Department of State Affairs deals with inter-state dialogue, governmental affairs, and trade by encouraging the six states of the Kundrati Union to provide open trade and integration of governmental policies. The Governors of the five states not in the Free Zone (mainly Jildrath, Celania, Lirnak, Peghonai and Pilgon) were also appointed in a simple ceremony today, all of them being current military officers as the Etxean Garrison Command noted that the states not in the Free Zone will remain under martial law until the end of Legionaire rule outside the Free Zone. The Governors are Lirnak Brigadier general Joanis Arriandia, Celania Brigadier general Amaiur Galzagorta, Jildrath General Vratislav Kuchár, Pilgon Brigadier general Alexey Kachaenov, and Peghonai Commander Kjell Nordström. Most notably, the Governors for Peghonai and Pilgon come from the minority populations of Kundrati, the Davostager-Kundrati, and Delic-Kundrati, respectively.

The DSA will have an office in the building of the BEM, and each Governor will have a small staff and a small salary. Given their current military roles and circumstances in the political environment, their roles as governors will be secondary, and their current military assignments will be their primary job. Their current purpose is mainly to promote their states and their culture, alongside providing the government with information on these states and their current political and social environment. The hope is that, when reunification happens, these Governors will replace their Legionary counterparts and take over to perform the necessary functions of state.

The President of the Kundrati Union, Tiberius Claudius Nero, officially announced today that he will be visiting Istalia to strike economic deals and work with a fellow member of the Romulo Fund. The President is expected to visit Floria Monaldi, the current Prime Minister of Istalia, alongside his and the Prime Minister's entourage.

Istalia also experienced a major war, which led to the split of its territories into three, not unlike the fate of the Kundrati. Both wars significantly destroyed the countries involved, and as a result, Istalia's story has become more popular, and more sympathy has been raised for the Istalian cause throughout the Free Zone. The President's visit, therefore, is very popular with the nation, especially as Istalia and the Kundrati expect to recover and grow their economies again.

President Tiberius Claudius Nero, in said visit, is also expected to tour Romula and speak to various crowds about the history of Kundrati and developments in Etxea. There is also a possibility that the President will be giving lectures about similar subjects. The President is also expected to meet with various Istalian NGOs dedicated to recovery, humanitarian efforts, and democracy and its development. A wreath will also be laid at the war memorial in Istalia, which is dedicated to the recent war.

As soon as the President leaves Istalia, Tiberius Claudius Nero is expected to visit Aikums and the country of Dolgava. Various countries have made their stance known because of the ongoing situation in Kundrati, while others have implied it. Given that the Aikums government has invited the President and his entourage to visit Dolgava, it is likely that the Free Zone and Dolgava will restart relations.

At Aikums, the President is expected to meet with his counterpart and discuss investment and trade. The President is also expected to discuss military deals to augment the Kundrati Union Armed Forces.

The President may possibly visit Her Majesty Queen Jaanika of Dolgava for a chat before holding a speech at the Dolgava parliament to discuss Kundrati and its democracy and appeal to the members of parliament to support the Kundrati Union and the fight for democracy. He is also expected to lay a wreath at the war memorial of Dolgava and the memorial dedicated to the plane crash that killed the late husband of Her Majesty and eight others in an act of God.

In 5624, the first few housing towers in Jildrati City and western Etxea built by the Etxebizitza eta Sustapen Kontseilua (Housing and Development Board) began construction. They announced that they would finish the first 75,000 flats in six years' time. We are now four years in, so let us examine their progress.

With Romulo Fund funds pouring into Etxea, housing, and public infrastructure have been prioritized. Many have also entered the construction industry as it has proven to pay and provide quality housing to those who have built into the project. The Housing Program initiative has made at least 46,000 new flats available to the general public in Jildrati City alone. The towers have helped lift thousands of people from homelessness and unstable housing into better and proper housing flats.

In fact, the Kubitschek neighborhood in southeastern Jildrati City is around 95% finished and about to be completed, while the Albatrossi and Sambiru in the east and northern part of the city are around 67% finished and are expected to be completed in 5630. They will also be connected to public transport infrastructure.

As for the New Towns in western Etxea, the first few ESK flats in those areas have already been completed, and some neighborhoods have begun filling up with people from nearby areas. A lottery system has also been set up to allow these flats and the apartments in Jildrati City to be filled in as soon as they are finished. With the help of Egelion, who have provided architects, engineers, plans, and more, the first few New Towns are expected to be completed in a much shorter timeframe than initially thought. The first New Town is expected to be fully completed by 5632, though there is hope that this timeframe can be whittled down as time passes.

Now, let's move on to public transport and infrastructure. Of course, these New Towns will be connected via bus infrastructure, and Jildrati City's existing train infrastructure is also being worked on. However, the Governor of Etxea has also begun to put massive work into building and rebuilding commuter rail service throughout the island. The Governor said that there will be one main commuter and freight rail line, four tracked throughout, that will run in the southern part of the island from the New Towns to Jildrati City with stops throughout the island at villages and potential New Towns.

The Governor has begun work on the commuter and freight line. Since there will be four tracks throughout the island, it is expected to be completed in 5637, as existing and former train lines will be used and restored for this purpose. Work and planning have also begun on the Jildrati City Subway and additional commuter rail service in the north of the island.

Highway infrastructure is also being planned for the north and south of the island to connect the New Towns to Jildrati City and vice versa. These highways have also begun construction and will be a shorter timeframe due to the lower costs of clearing land for a highway - at least the first few parts of the highway will be completed in 5634, with the rest of the highway to be completed in phases towards the year 5650. The highways will be used mainly for freight and military purposes since more and more people are expected to use commuter rail services to get around the island. The highways will also include a ring road surrounding Jildrati City with green infrastructure and greenways to block out much of the noise expected to be generated by cars. Necessary rest stops and petrol stations will also dot the highway.

The President of the Kundrati Union has returned from his trips in three major countries. Reports have come out that the result of these visits was satisfactory and that the hope, from there, is that the Etxean economy can grow with their help to the point where they may surpass the economy of the illegitimate Legionary rule in the north.

As a result of the success, the Office to the President of the Kundrati Union has announced a two-part trip to Hutori and Kalistan. Let's chat about these two trips.

The state visit to Hutori is important given the ongoing relationship between Davostag and the illegitimate Legionary government. Hutori neighbors Davostag and, notably, occupied Davostag for a period of time which led to a stable democratic government. Thus, now that the two fascist powers are working with each other again, the President of the Kundrati Union has sought to gain Hutorian assistance to ward off any Legionary invasion alongside offering to provide assistance wherever they can with regards to Davostag. This visit, which will include the Minister of Defense and their entourages, is expected to tour the cities of Hutori, examine the Davostag-Hutori border, alongside various negotiations to provide necessary military assistance. The President also seeks to obtain various Hutori military supplies during the visit alongside possibly working together on intelligence.

The state visit to Kalistan, which will happen after the visit to Hutori, is more related to trade. Kalistan has already opened a branch of their major For In Bank in Jildrati City alongside providing various economic initiatives and funds like imperial trade credits and more. The visit is meant to secure these gains alongside touring Kaliburg, their markets, and their public transportation infrastructure. The visit, which will include the Minister for Trade, will also encourage Union businesses to invest in Kalistan and to repair a relationship which was strained at the start of the illegal Legionaire coup d'etat of the Kundratis.
