Celebrations as last Luthorian soldiers leave the country, Jubilant crowds parade for the president! New flag for the nation!
As the final soldiers of the murdering hordes of Luthorians flee the fatherland the people rally behind president Jozef Otčenáš, having fufilled his promise made to the people that Kundrati would oncemore arise from the ashes on its own two feet, ready to meet the future with steadfast dignity and independence. To commemorate the occasion the president announced Kundrati would be adopting a new flag away from the legacy of Lazars regime and the legionary party.
"My people, as we move forward into our glorious future the time comes to adapt to the changing times. I hereby announce a new flag is to be adopted. For our new coat of arms, the 3 crowns will represent Elyahu, Elyon, and Ariel, the scepter the leader, the orb the nation. and in the middle is saint Sladek slaying a dragon that represents the nations foes. The three colors: White for purity, Blue for strength, Red the blood of the fatherlands martyrs, the blue X represents our unwavering courage. With this new banner we march on like a phoenix resurrected, glory to the fatherland and its heroes!"
Tens of thousands in jubilant crowds marched in Kaesama to celebrate the presidents victory, waving the new tricolored flags chanting "Kundrati arise!". In other news, the president hinted that a potential deal with Baltusia in the near future for trade may occur, and ongoing trade continues to revive the economy with constant uninhibited growth monthly. About 10 different countries have signed extensive deals, and the nation is seeing the benefits. New products are on store shelves, millions have arisen out of poverty from the post war destruction, roads and basic necessities repaired. The nation follows comrade Otčenáš as he truly embodies the memory of our eternal saint and president Sladek, as a vanguard of the future.

Kundrati celebrates 13th anniversary of the founding of the new democracy with victory day parade, new economic figures and statements from the president.Tens of thousands of citizens came out today to celebrate and participate in the first victory day parade since the brutal war nearly 15 years ago, the main theme of the parade being celebrations of the brave men and women who contributed to continuing to rebuild the nation. The president gave a small speech at the podium of the march highlighting the major changes in recent Kundrati life and politics;
"My brothers and sisters of the reunified Kundrati, we continue to steadfastly march on making enormous strides every month and every year. in the 4 years since the last economic report the GDP has arisen by another 19 billion Kuno, leaving us only 10 billion away from the pre-war GDP. We no longer needing to expend such enormous amounts into our armed forces as before, having chosen the path of diplomacy and the free market have been able to invest this into the civilian sector to great benefit. Kundrati citizens can purchase meat nation wide for the first time in decades, our farms and mines are full to burst with eager young workers, our business sector see's new benefits of the investments and numerous trade deals secured with the many willing partners who we thank for their openness to the new Kundrati way forward. It is without further adieu that I salute our workers and soldiers who have carved this path for us all with nothing but grim determination and faith in god, and announce victory day commence!"
Orchestra bands playing the Kundrati anthem saluted as the new flag was risen to full mast, the first columns of marching soldiers each from every branch of the armed forces, and police with paramilitaries took the first formations. Following this were numerous columns of construction workers holding shovels and pickaxes, civilian auxiliaries who aided in clearing rubble and mine disposal, and thousands of farmers waving in parade floats with slogans such as, "The fatherland is fed!" and "No child shall go hungry again, Slava Kundrati!." After this a few tanks of the remaining Kundrati army drove down the main streets followed by tractors, bulldozers, and more parade floats of citizens in traditional Kundrati garb throwing out loaves of bread and candies. The skies saw 6 jets of the air force spraying the tri colors of the nations new banner followed by crop dusters in formation of the numbers 54 and 13, for the date and anniversary number. The parade was a great success while smaller but similar celebrations took place nation wide.
In other news, president Jozef Otčenáš recently made comments on the new trade deal in Baltusia and subsequent reactions.
"I am both eager yet saddened by the actions taken by and against Baltusia. We thank them for their openness and recognizing the challenges in changing perceptions of our nation abroad, saw they were willing to give Kundrati a chance. So you can imagine my shock to the brutal reprisals made by Kalistan, who evidently continues to harbor the same pre-war attitudes we've fought so hard to remove. We have proven that we can make peace with former enemies in deals already, but the other powers have to be willing to remove the plank from their own eye before lambasting the splinter in our own. Kundrati is changing year by year for the better, we stand by Mr. Merridan, and our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Burger for his health issues. We will not stop in securing more deals, pursuing the path of peace and democracy, and rebuilding Kundrati better than ever before!"

New V-8 rail project announced, presidents son enters politics!
President Jozef Otčenáš has announced that to continue to invigorate the economy, create jobs, and improve the infrastructure that in conjunction with Hutorian and Kundrati firms, the new V-8 rail project has begun. This new project will begin the creation of a new 4 lane rail line beginning in the north coast of Peghonai linking to the capital and finally ending at the Jildrath coast to connect with the largest national dockyards recently repaired with aid from Selucia. This project contract was awarded to the Kundrati state owned company, "Valstar Constructions", having decades of experience in massive infrastructure projects. Historically Valstar personally oversaw the construction of Industrial district Lirnak and the original Jildrath naval dockyards. They have set a 4 year goal to complete the project, and expect to employ 250,000 workers within a budget of 50 billion Kuno. This project once completed will allow a huge amount of material and people to move through the country cutting transit costs and time in half compared to auto transit.
In other news, the presidents son Ludvík Otčenáš has announced his full time commitment to political pursuits. In a shocking move to many however, he accepted an offer to step in as head of the Fatherland Front party as opposed to the NRP. Many believe this may be a father son rivalry, or perhaps a sign of a differing of political alignment. Regardless, Jozef Otčenáš stated he supports his sons decision and looks forward to cooperation with the FF in the Politburo as new proposals are soon to arrive at the presidents desk for approval. The FF saw a surge of new members following the announcement, many saying they are happy to see young blood in politics. Ludvík may be one of the youngest leaders of a party at only 32 years old, but is certainly one with a decorated past. Like his father Ludvík fought in the 2nd Kundrati war having been a member of the presidential guard before the conflict began, and was decorated with a multitude of commendations for bravery and wounds. He left the military as a 1st Lieutenant and helped form a veterans association to help thousands of men come back to civilian life, receive mental and financial aid, and bring old friends together. Pravda recently broadcasted his ascension to head of the FF during his announcement speech;
"My comrades of the great Kundrati nation, it is my honor and privilege to be given this role to serve this great nation under the fatherland front. I come out from amongst you all, I stood beside many of you here in the years of the war. From my adolescence in the Sladek youth, to defending the streets of Legionaria, to helping my comrades in the post war and clearing landmines in my free time, my life has been one that I was taught was righteous; Selflessness and sacrifice. But through perseverance, enduring hunger and hardship, I pulled myself up as you all have. We cannot, must not, forget what makes this country the greatest in Terra, and that is our determination despite all odds. Since the day I entered politics I have had only one desire and goal, and that is the Kundrati people. The workers, the farmers, the builders, these are the greatest of Kundrati and always have been. We are not a nation of bourgeois would be intellectuals as can be found around the globe, and though we may not possess the great treasuries of blood money of international capital, a nation can never truly prosper if it is morally bankrupt. God, fatherland, family, these are the tenants of a great nation, and they always will be our greatest ideals. In this era of decadence and profligacy we must be like steel, in a world that hates us we must endure, Kundrati has and always will be alone in this Terra, yet what do we want for abroad that cannot be found at home! With the help of my fellow members of the FF and the NRP, I give you my word, we will mold Kundrati into the nation that once was feared and respected by all, we will transform our Kundrati into the factory of Artania. Many speculate if Ludvík Otčenáš will make a gambit for the presidency in the future elections, but as it stands the Fatherland Front grows by the day, especially since the acension of Ludvík. Perhaps even a merge of the NRP and FF could be possible given their alignments, only time will tell.

Shock and panic as Kundrati stock market faces massive recession! President urges for calm, Ludvík Otčenáš gives speech
Today suddenly, after multiple large stock sales a massive panic occurred in the stock market today as people scrambled to withdraw both money and stock shares in a tidal wave crash. Estimates show a nearly 38% bear market crash, with billions being withdrawn overnight. Tens of thousands performed a run on the banks to take out their savings, but there was not nearly enough physical bills to accommodate everyone, with multiple branches shutting down and filing for bankruptcy in the last week. Jozef Otčenáš urged for calm, assuring the public their money is not going anywhere and to not panic withdraw their savings lest their bank go under, the reserve is printing money at rapid pace but trying to strike a balance between inflation and need. We attempted to reach out to banking CEO Gustav Čech of "Viable" bank, however sadly he passed away after a 20 story fall in Kaesama this morning according to the police report.
Ludvík Otčenáš gave a speech to thousands of angry supporters today on behalf of the fatherland front;
"My kundrati comrades, the last week has been one of intense suffering and panic due to the so called 'free market' we've adopted this past decade. Oncemore the proof is before your very eyes, the machinations of international capital and the deplorable speculators no doubt from Luthori and Kalistan who cooperated to attack our people again, from bombs to bank notes.
In these countries, these so called 'democracies', the people is by no means the center of attention. What really matters, is the existence of this group of 'democracy makers'! That is, the existence of a few hundred of giant capitalists, who own all the factories and shares, and who ultimately lead the people, and are not at all concerned with the needs of the masses. They truly are the only ones who can be called international elements, because they conduct their business everywhere! It is a small, rootless, international clique, that is turning the people against each other, that does not wish peace for us! They talk about press freedom, when in fact all these newspapers have one owner, and the owner is in any case the sponsor. The masses of the world peddle their yellow journalism to hate us, then we must hate harder! We must stand up once and for all and purge the maggots that eat away at the foundations of our fatherland!
Since I entered politics, I have sometimes mistakes. But what actually is a mistake in politics? When I look back, I have only one sentiment: an enormous regret. Regret that we did not succeed, that we were not able to create this Kundrati Artania which would be the master of Terra for all time, which made the Kundrati race the greatest, with the mastery of the spirit.
And when we see what there is on the other side, what 30 years of the victories of others has given? Anarchy throughout the world, this rout of our way of life, this desertion of righteousness; we see in our own countries the decay of morals, the fall of the fatherland, the fall of the family, the fall of social order; this appetite for material goods which has replaced the great flame of the ideal which animated us, well then truly, between the two we chose the right side. The small, miserable Terra of today of this petty tinpot market, cannot give happiness to mankind, the consumer society poisoning humanity rather than elevating it.
But for us we dreamed of something great, and we have only one desire, that this spirit be reborn. And with all my might, up to the last moment of my existence, I will fight for this. So that what was our struggle and our martyrdom, will one day be the resurrection!"
Tens of thousands were animated by the speech delivered by Ludvík, this excerpt being only minutes of a 30 minute speech delivered in Lirnak. Furious crowds and riots followed as dozens of businesses were torched and destroyed, mainly targeting foreign owned assets. Luthorian and Kalistani sigils were spray painted on many businesses accused of being responsible for the crash. Police battled with protestors for 2 days until finally the smoke cleared with millions in damages. Lirnak has been placed in a state of emergency temporarily under curfew until the situation is able to be controlled. The president has reached out to the international community asking for aid, and has sadly announced the V-8 rail project to be temporarily halted while the market adjusts to the chaos.

Heroes of the Kundrati economy, Evidence found regarding purposeful foreign meddling!
As the nation continues to reel from the crash just months ago, three economic patriots have stepped up to the plate to help recover the situation before the economy takes an irreversible turn; Radim Sladek, CEO of Novak Agri-Enterprises, Otakar Havlík, Owner of Ironcrest Technologies and Leoš Podlezl, owner of Podlezl Mining Conglomerate. Following the crash these three men immediately began to cooperate on massive investments to purchase back shares of the market that were pulled out by foreign speculators. The companies invested a combined 90 billion Kuno just weeks following the crash, immediately seeing a spike of 18% in stock prices, helping prevent a free-fall and restoring confidence to the stability of the economy. Now we can rest assured that overwhelming portions of the most important economic fields of the nation rest in the hands of true Kundrati comrades, this was re-affirmed by the president and a speech recently given by Ludvík Otčenáš who apparently helped arrange the economic move;
"Comrades of the Kundrati nation, it is my great pleasure to announce three of our great patriotic citizens have shown once again that Kundrati business can be trusted to help their own. I have helped facilitate a meeting with the big 3 corporations who now have shouldered the burden of purchasing billions in stocks to bring back wealth, food and work to the people. We too thank our Hutorian friends for their contributions to our nation in aid these past months, but the truth of the entire matter is this: I have spoken to our intelligence agents who work in conjunction with the FF, NRP and state and there can no longer be any doubt. I have with me here in these documents, definitive proof that Luthori and Kalistan have through a multitude of investors whos names we have listed, purposefully orchestrated this economic sabotage. How can we be expected to trust in this so called 'free market' if it is nothing more than a cabal of bloodsuckers and enemies to the state? Rest assured we will be working tirelessly to find a middle ground between time proven Ordosocialist economics and the healthy free market my father has used with friends abroad. I too have not been blind to the riots in Lirnak and protests elsewhere, and I must urge calm in this time, we must stand together shoulder to shoulder and defeat the menace that lurks behind closed doors. I will be establishing a paramilitary wing of the Fatherland front, the black battalions, who will in coordination with local communities, police and officials help protect the streets and crack down on crime wherever it rears its head. I swear to you, we will make our nation a safe and prosperous place, for our children and the future of our nation. Hail Kundrati!"
Thousands of recruits have already joined the so called "black battalions" nation wide seeing a significant reduction in violent crime as many police thanked the FF for its support during the trifling times, and requested they be sure to allow the police to do the prosecuting and establish a healthy relationship, not a replacement of law enforcement. Trials are set to be held soon regarding 4 individuals already arrested for involvement in the economic crash that was validated to be of Kalistani and Luthorian origin. We call on the international community to recognize these actions and ensure a secure free world market where manipulation will someday be only a memory.
President Jozef Otčenáš also announced he would be developing new strategies to strengthen the Kundrati currency and restore purchasing power, as the Kuno has recently faced significant inflation, a public announcement is expected to be given in the coming weeks.

Ludvík Otčenáš appointed prime minister, FF surges in membership as potential NRP merge deal pursued
Ludvík Otčenáš is arising as a serious political star in national politics, after giving multiple rousing speechs mostly in Lirnak but also in the capital and in Jildrath, he has announced a nation wide campaign of rallies and speeches elsewhere. Membership likewise has lessened in the NRP, losing aproximately 30% of its membership who have left to join the fatherland front which now boasts 4.3 million official members. Some have wondered if Ludvík will end up running against his own father in the next presidential election, and it seems like a merge of the NRP and FF is a very real possibility.
The president after addressing the economic concerns of the country hinted to this saying, "Its becoming harder to deny the very real benefits of the FF under the leadership of my son, and if the will of the people prefers them over the NRP despite our similarities, it may be best for the Politburo to oversee a merge of our parties jointly run by myself and my son."
Such a merge would secure an overwhelming hold on the politburo forming a supermajority. The FF has proposed a raising of the party threshold to 15% which would effectively make the FF/NRP the only two parties in the country with political representation. Oleg Strnad leader of the NWF party has congratulated Ludvík Otčenáš on his advocacy for state controlled industries and financial institutions as, "A prudent return to the time proven Ordosocialist economics that liberated Kundrati once before." and negotiations on an alliance or even a merge of the two parties is undergoing, should the threshold decree pass the NWF, KPP, and APPA would all be effectively removed from office.
Ludvík Otčenáš upon taking office made his first order the establishment of a government run auxiliary labor group, the "Kundrati Labor Service" or KLS. The mandate requires volunteers or those with over 8 months of continuous unemployment to work a minimum of 60 hours a week. Wages will be less than half of average payment, however the rest will be paid in foodstuffs and civilian products, while the workers will be provided housing and meals during work shifts. This program is estimated to employ 400,000 men and women, which allowed Ludvík Otčenáš to announce resuming the V-8 rail line and even an expansion of it to begin connecting all provincial capitals in the rail network, providing thousands of jobs and promising much needed expansion of infrastructure.

Ludvík & Jozef Otčenáš announce Merging of the Fatherland front and NRP, new vote passes politburo for massive economic reform
The fatherland front has announced it will be merging with the National rejuvenation party into the formation of a new mega-party under control of Ludvík Otčenáš as leader of the new Vanguard Kundrati Workers Party or VKWP. This will ensure a new era of growth and unity for the people of Kundrati. The first action taken was the voting and acceptance on presidential authority the grand new Kundrati Recovery Act of 57, to ensure our economic sovereignty, security, and prosperity. Henceforth the following decrees have been announced by executive authority of the president and prime minister on behalf of the people;
-All banks except Hutori based GLC will be nationalized into a state owned national bank titled "The Peoples Treasury", GLC will be provided required bullion bonds via promised amounts of gold, silver, and diamonds.
-Establishment of the Kundrati Economic Authority "KEA" to oversee all major banking, credit, and industrial decisions, of which all private and foreign banks operating within Kundrati are subject to quarterly audits and must comply with reserve and lending mandates.
-Creation of a Kundrati Financial organization titled "The Kundrati Regulatory Commission" to regulate foreign exchange and protect against speculative attacks on the Kundrati market and soon to be remade currency. Foreign entities found guilty of economic sabotage, including withdrawal of currency, capital flight, or refusal to abide by Kundrati reserve law, will face license revocation and asset seizure under emergency measures. All foreign debt will be placed under review for legitimacy, debt incurred under exploitative or coercive terms may be repudiated or restructured via the State Tribunal on national finance.
-Formation of State-Industrial Coordination organization, the "Department of Economic Security" "DES" to monitor all sectors of the economy (mining, steel, transport, energy, agriculture) to align with national goals. Corporations must comply with price and wage stabilization laws, and are required to prioritize domestic reinvestment and autarkic sourcing. Kundrati will pursue viable economic autarky wherever feasible, particularly in food, energy, steel, and arms production. Strategic industries will receive state contracts, subsidies, and material guarantees in exchange for fulfilling state-directed quotas. New exploration and acquisition of critical minerals and domestic deposits will be subsidized by the state.
-Establishment of a United Kundrati Workers Front (under the Ministry of Labor), replacing & annexing all private unions into a single state entity in order to provide jobs, pensions, training through state projects, public works, and industrial expansion.
-Launch of the great Kundrati Leap Forward plan, including the completion of the V-8 Rail corridors and electrification of rural areas with other massive infrastructure works, Investment in Kundrati industrial defense capacity, including aircraft, small arms, vehicles, and synthetic material, and creation of a Cultural Heritage program to revive Kundrati music, education, and historical pride to counter foreign attempts to induce moral decay.
Soon we expect to hear news of the new currency reform that is to replace the Kuno, and look forward to oncemore security and honor to ensure never again will Luthorian and Kalistani speculators and sympathizers ever harm our nation again. Hail Kundrati!

Liberal Terrorists Commit Arson! The Politburo in Flames!
This morning at 3:30AM, the Politburo was wreathed in flames as the interior archives were set aflame by 3 arsonists arrested who were in possession of multiple cannisters of petrol, lighters, wearing masks and faces painted black to avoid detection. Allegedly yet another individual is at large having escaped police capture in the night, bringing the total to 4. After being arrested and strip searched, multiple documents and identification papers listed the group members of the APPA (Pan-Artanian Progressive Party) & the LFA (Liberty For All). This is believed to be a political attack targeted against the new VKWP majority and in resistance to the economic security measures taken.
It took 14 hours to completely put out the flames, leaving over 80% of the building damaged and in need of repair. In response to the move the president stated, "This political violence is unacceptable, and it must end. We will not tolerate putting lives in danger nor destroying state assets." This is following multiple protests in Jildrath and Etxea where the majority of the Left leaning parties predominate, where they held signs with messages such as; "Down with Fascism!" and "Liberate the People!". Evidently these disgruntled firebrands unhappy with the grandiose economic changes for the betterment of the people are subject to foreign propaganda and the pre-war sympathies which led to the prior Etxean terrorist regime once backed by Luthori that attempted numerous bombings in decades past. The politburo has been relocated to the Ministry of the Interior while discussions regarding repairs are underway. Ludvík Otčenáš has promised the deployment of Black Battalions to help defend property and the innocent, vowing to stop "Kalistani and Luthorian terrorism wherever it rears its satanic head."

The "New-Kuno" Introduced, trade deal with Haifbourg signed.
To remedy the rapid inflation and degradation of our currency stability, the government has now introduced a new currency to be adopted titled the "New-Kuno". This currency will be traded with old Kuno at an exchange rate of 3000K to 1NK, every bank note will be backed by either Gold, Silver, or high grade Diamonds at varying rates per gram. Likewise all these bullion will be backed by bullion bond notes which can supplement these materials. The government has in its opinion as stated by the President, "Secured sufficient trade volume in gold, silver, and diamonds to ensure this smooth transferal. This will ensure a strong currency with tangible assets tied to each note both strengthen investment opportunity and economic power. Haifbourg specifically has arranged a trade deal with substantial amounts of high quality diamonds and silver to facilitate this deal, and are likewise being granted shares of port Jildrath to foster enlarged trade and cooperation.
To the citizens of Kundrati, the necessity of this change also necessitates sacrifice, that being in the form of the "Kundrati Gold Seizure Act 902", henceforth anyone in possession of gold or silver exceeding the quantity of 10 grams of gold or 50 grams of silver will be required to deliver this bullion to the national bank in exchange for equal new kuno. This measure does not apply to gold and silver coins having recognized special value to collectors of rare and unusual coins, personal jewelry, customary use in industry, nor that required for profession or art. This measure will only strengthen the nation, we call on patriots everywhere to give their gold to the national treasury for the benefit of all!
The following transfer of Kuno to new kuno will officially commence in 30 days, after which Kuno will be of no value. As of now the treasury has been printing New Kuno in vast quantities and physical bill distribution is guaranteed!

This morning the President was found unconscious in his bedroom by his staff early in the morning, having believed to have suffered a stroke the night before, still wearing his night robe. The president was rushed to the Kaesama state hospital and immediately put on life support as his condition seems to be dire, this shocking event comes only days before the presidents 78th birthday. His health and age have been a concern for some time now, serving the country for two decades. An emergency session was called in the Politburo regarding temporary appointment of the vice president into power, the presidents own son and head of the VKWP, Ludvík Otčenáš. Ludvík gave an address to the Politburo regarding the events,
"Comrades, as much as I wish to only be by my fathers side at this time, my duty comes first and foremost to my country and people. I will be assuming his position until god willing he recovers and assumes office once more. It is a concerning sequence of events, my father was the picture of good health and even in his late 70's often jogged in our local parks every morning. I am ordering an official investigation into the matter and all staff involved in his daily activities who could have done any possible foul play. Until my fathers health recovers the elections will be suspended temporarily until the situation clears, and all parties in the election can choose their front runners. I of course will be running myself for the presidency, and as I await my fathers recovery strongly hope he will retire after all the blood and sweat he has sacrificed for this nation, on the battlefield and at the polls. Lastly I am deeply hurt by the open comments made by many of the opposing parties regarding my fathers condition, specifically the remnants of the so called "Peoples party" and other firebrands stirring up hatred. I have received multiple letters wishing his death and mine, including death threats against us and our families. Rest assured, no insurrectionist or terroristic behavior will be tolerated, I am personally overseeing the deployment of the VKWP's paramilitary wing in the capital to aid our brave policemen in enforcing law and order.
