As the reconstruction process in Meriath continues, the Royal Court and the IDE have sought to reaffirm the narrative of Egelian intervention in Meriath following disappointing and highly commentary from regional alliues. The IDE has stated that to this day, Egelion remains committed to the independence, liberty, and popular sovereignty of Meriath as an official independent state ever since their split from the neo-fascist mainland government. With the being said, the IDE and the Royal Court are calling on all left-leaning and democratic organizations from Terra to begin aiding Meriath. "If recognition is not viable now, then at least humanitarian aid and structure is needed", claimed Royal Councilor Mondragon II. Specifically, Mondragon II has called on the Rosalana Garcia Institute to begin working with local politicians and action groups on Meriath to ensure that the social democratic threading of the island is well maintained. The sociopolitical fabric of Meriath must be stable as to avoid future debates or conflicts on the status of the island. Mondragon believes that the current situation would be perfect fro the Rosalana Garcia Institute to do its work.
Other institutions, especially financial ones, on Terra are also being summoned to Meriath to begin the healing of the island and ensure it has suitable financial backing to move forward. Already, Egelian institutions such as Cascabel-Otienda, Sanatamer, Ibarra, and Villar y Zepeda have already pledged loans, grants, financial assistance, and consultations with Meriath to ensure the rebuilding process is well supported. Even the newly created Egelian Investment fund is already working to begin projects on the island. The Royal Court debated for two hours today on ways to get the international community to accept Meriath as a legitimate government. Members debated on releasing statements and providing transparency throughout the whole process. Members proposed that all financial transactions between Altea an Meriath be released to show no political affiliations or corrupt bribery. Others in the court stated that they would call on international overseers to safeguard Meriath's election to show no proof of Egelian meddling--this could of course be aided by the Rosala G. Institute as well.
"We have no business here other than to keep the island free and safe", stated Mondragon II. "Our goal isn't to take advantage of a people or to simply take as we please. Altea's motives have never been inclined towards such imperialist ambitions. We seek to safeguard Meriath and the people of Rildanor from dangerous neo-fascist ideologies plaguing are world. This does not mean we stand alone in this battle. We call our allies and our partners to engage with us and ensure we safeguard our planet one step at a time."

Royal Councilor Montalivet and Members of Aéroleon's Board of Directors are in Metz-Leonid this week to secure several deals with the Xsampan government concerning military production and manufacturing. Royal Councilor Montalivet, joined by members of Leonex and the Royal Directory, introduced a new front of military cooperation with the Dovanin nation. After hours of negotiations and detailed discussion, Leonex and the Royal Directory have shared several blueprint, engineering features, and detailed aeronautics regarding short, close, and intermediate range missiles with the Xsampan military. This deal comes after several security issues for Xsampa have risen in the past few months, leading Metz-Leonid searching for immediate guarantees. The blueprints and technology shared with Xsampa will allow them to build their own class of missiles based on Leonex's designs. While slightly different than Egelian models, the missiles will prove nonetheless to be quick, accurate, and deadly against all targets. While this is one simple and single showing of Altéa's commitment to the Lion-Yak Pact, it will not be the only one. It is rumored that the Royal Directory will work with Xsampa on a large naval project in the future, but sources have mixed information. Novantica anf Grupo Ortega's, Egelion's leaders in shipbuilding and design, have been summoned to a government meeting in Altea to discuss the future projects. Metz-Leonid has also sent representatives to Altea to discuss the classified project.
Beyond military news, Aéroleon, Egelion's new airline corporation, announced that several of the company's new parts and manufacturing plants will now move to Xsampa and take advantage of the boom in the new country. Aéroleon stated that plants in Egelion were becoming oversaturated with parts and new workers. The company's backlog needed to improve to bring fair conditions and hours to employees in Egelion. The country decided to move some manufacturing operations to Dovani to engage in positive deals with Xsampa and allow the company to establish a global footprint. With the expansion to Xsampa, workers will be paid fair wages and adhere to Xsampan labor laws--which are slightly better than those in Egelion. The company hopes that with the expansion, more parts and planes can be delivered to global airlines at a faster pace and get rid of the 2 month backlog that currently exists within the company. As of yesterday, an order for 10 MAX-500's from the Kingdom of Hutori began production with the order being sent to the front of the queue. The planes are set to be delivered in 8 months. A MAX-300 plane was gifted to the government of Xsampa as part of the deal between Aeroleon and the nation.

Castillo Garibaldi held a news announcement in Cartablanca this morning to announce that Egelion and Xsampa have begun work on two large supercarriers and a fleet of 5 ballistic-missile capable, AIP submarines for the navies of both nations. The deal comes after a series of meetings and discussions held in Metz-Leonid regarding further cooperation between Egelion and Xsampa. While Egelian companies had previously only focused on aerial cooperation with Xsampa, the military industrial sector saw potential in maritime operations in eastern Dovani. Novantica, by far one of the largest and most successful shipbuilding companies in the region, will work with Grupo Ortega and several Xsampan manufacturing hubs to create two large supercarriers for the navies of both countries. This move comes after Castillo Garibaldi released a report following the Meriath liberation mission, and saw the need for easier projection and global access for the Royal Armada. Xsampa's need comes after increased security issues with the rise of Vascania and the meddling intentions of Amudim in the region.
Both nations, bastions of manufacturing and heavy industry, are ready to take the challenge on. With a price tag expected in the billions, many are curious to see the full potential of Egelion and Xsampa's heavy weight capability. Castillo Garibaldi stated that present docks in Egelion are more than capable to house carriers--this includes North Point base in Nadiya as well as Meriat del Mar in Meriath. Basing rights and ports for docking are not an issue for both nation. Some skeptics believe that the carriers will prove to be expensive to maintain and to construct, however, according to the Royal Councilor Montalivert, it "has been a long time coming that Xsmapa is treated as the powerful nation it is and respected for its industries and its consistency in fiscal responsibility for centuries at this point." The two new supercarriers in Egelion, known as the Triomfant Class, will feature state-of-the-art CATOBAR systems found similarly on the Canrillaise Queen Isabelle Class Carrier, and will have the capabilities to hold several types of aircraft for both nations. Each of these projects will also come with the creation of 5 General Valverde Class submarines. Novantica has stated that its current build queue at the company will be full with the current projects from both countries. Egelion is expected to take half of the work load in industrial work while Xsampa will take the rest. Despite the split in work, Egelion seems to be heading into more projects as officials from Bianjie were in Cartablanca to discuss "military cooperation". It is unknown what projects were discussed, but officials say Cascabel-Otienda and Novantica were involved in talks. Work on the two carriers and 5 submarines have begun throughout Egelion with ports in Yadraz, Cartablanca, Libertaria, and Norterra all occupied. It is expected for the project to conclude in six years, with sea trials beginning in seven.

Villar y Zepeda have announced the opening of a new Majatran branch, this time in Pontesi, following weeks of negotiations and city planning with Pontesi officials. Villar y Zepeda is one of Egelion's top financial institutions only after Cascabel-Otienda and Banco Ibarra. Villar y Zepeda is unknown to international investments at this point. The bank is the main sponsor and lender to the Real Academia, who has several operations throughout Terra. Villar y Zepeda is known as the "wildcard" of all Egelian institutions as their unconventional approach sees them investing in anything from port expansions to curriculum programs. The bank however has refused to step into Majatran markets, unlike their competitors, due to a significant lack of opportunities. However, that era for Villar y ZZepeda has ended as it has just opened its first Majatran bank, this time in Pontesi.
CEO Leonardo Zepeda, stated in a n interview with "El Diario", that the bank was specifically located in Pontesi due to the "untapped and unacknowledged potential that exists within the nation". Villar y Zepeda is not only looking to establish basic banking programs for the local population, but also open larger loans and grants for other companies and institutions. The bank is currently offering basic services such as savings accounts, finance consultations, and smaller loans to make sure that the bank has a solid and stable foundation. Zepeda has stated that the bank is looking to be a major force in the area such as Cascabel-Otienda, who is successfully operating from Selucia. Villar y Zepeda will begin to look at opportunities within Pontesi, which are plentiful at the moment. The bank will also look beyond Pontesi to nations such as Badara, Istalia, and even Amudim.
Villar y Zepeda is looking to replace the current monopoly that Amudim's institutions has on Majatran markets. "While we are focused on providing stable and safe transactions for Majatran residents, we are also looking to provide an alternative to Amudim's corporate strangle on the continent. We simply cannot rely on Amudim's banks or financial giants any longer", stated CEO Zepeda. Villar y Zepeda has already posted positive news on their new branch, but many will have to wait and see if the bank becomes a longstanding and continental success in the furture.

As the decade continues on, King Artemio and the Royal Council have worked day and night this month to balance and organize the nation's finances as new projects are on the horizon. The Royal Treasury had reported that in the past 10 years, debt to GDP has steadily risen given that the King has approved several projects just in the past three years. Recent statistics point to the military and the welfare sector as the main reasons for the almost 20% ride in debt. According to a report released by the Royal Court, the nation's spending lies in the state welfare and pension system, which costs almost 670 Billion Crowns each year. The CROWN system, which provides Egelian citizens public healthcare, unemployment benefits, a retirement pension, and a basic universal wage, is the most popular legislation passed in the nation's recent history. On the military side, with a new naval base at Meriat-del-Mar alongside Punto Norte in Nadiya, the military budget is exponentially increasing. With new supercarriers on the way with Xsampa, many have begun to discuss whether there are resources or space to engage in new projects. Royal Councilor Ibarra, who is designated to control fiscal policy at the Royal Treasury, stated that the current situation in Egelion remains "stable". Debt to GDP is sitting at around 67%, with it projected to hit 70% in the next few years. Ibarra concluded that while the ratio is projected to stall and decrease as the Treasury has been proficient in paying back debts, the ratio might hit close to 75% before it can truly begin a real descent. King Artemio stated that he wanted the ratio to return to 65% before engaging in any large projects. According to his office, King Artemio has been eyeing a large green energy transformation in Egelion to end all reliance on fossil fuels, but more studies on such a project are needed.
The Commission on Inflation and Regulation Practices at the Royal Treasury confirmed that the Egelian Crown is now one of Terra's most commonly used currencies, almost reaching levels of the old Canrillaise Fleurs. With several banks in Lodamun, Xsampa, Dundorf, Pontesi, Selucia, Kanjor, Istalia, Bianjie, Utaristan, Nadiya, Baeguk, Hutori, and Tukarali, the Royal Treasury is confident that Egelian finances abroad are well protected and well regulated to ensure that global markets are fair and stable. King Artemio and the Royal Council will engage in several fiscal debates with the Royal Court in the next to few weeks to ensure that the budget in the next few years is not overly saturated or full of "unnecessary spending". Royal Councilor Ibarra states: "The goal of the His Majesty's government is to ensure that we can balance a strong social sector and engage in several projects at home and abroad. We've been on the spending side for the past couple of years, but we've able to do it responsibly. We have a strong resolve and regulations in place to ensure that the Crown currency remains strong and stable. We understand international forces are at play, such as those in Majatra which seek to place international commerce under yeudi control, yet His Majesty remains committed to keep Terran trade and banking free from Yeudi control." The Royal Council is expected to pass new fiscal measures this week to expand confidence in the Egelian economy and open the way for larger projects in the future once current debts are repaid.

The Royal Government has released several images and details of the historic visit from His Highness, Crown Prince Fredrick Ananto-Collins from the Anantonese Empire to Altéa. The Crown Prince stopped in the royal capital as a part of his "world tour" as he is set to take the throne of the Anantonese Empire very soon. The Crown Prince's goal to "review" the empire's foreign policy was among his agenda as he landed in Altéa. He was received by the Royal Guard of Villamor at the royal family's private airport situated just east to the city. A large and heavily protected unit full of state vehicles and police were sent to bring the Crown Prince and the Princess to the heart of Altéa. Crown Prince Fredrick's first and most important stop was at the royal family's residence, Sorsuela Palace. The meeting between His Majesty, King Artemio and Crown Prince Fredrick occurred at the main hall of the palace--surrounded by crystal chandeliers, intricate golden details, and tall windows exposing the skyline of Altéa.
The two graciously met and delivered small gifts to one another. It is said that His Majesty gifted the Crown Prince a 3 carat, dark ruby stone from the Royal House's private collection. Whereas the Ananto's have the eye for gems and stones, the Montalivets covet gold above all else. Crown Prince Fredrick was then taken to the king's study: a large room with several mahogany furniture sets, lush couches, and marble workspaces to begin discussing a new future between the empire and Egelion. King Artemio spoke of new policies that will be implemented once the Crown Prince inherits the throne. One of the points of conversation was security in the Anantonese. When speaking of the topic of Meriath and Rildanor, King Artemio stated that while there may be mixed opinions on the matter Egelion took to achieve a democratic Meriath, the end result is necessary for security in the region. "Our goal is to make sure the Anantonese is free from foreign interference and fascists. What we're seeing with the Triad Republic and Vascania is extremely dangerous and malignant for security in our region. We are committed to keeping the Anatonese for Anantonese nations--in this effort we are both united", claimed King Artemio. "We are not enemies, we are not rivals, we have the same goals and the same vision for our region. We are prepared to see through."
The meeting at Sorsuela covered several talking points from security to cultural cooperation and economic advances. King Artemio agreed to keep in line with the Ocean Accords signed by King Romulo and Her Imperial Majesty years ago to continue the goodwill between the empire. The Crown Prince was happy to receive guarantees and a shared commitment to security in the Anantonese from King Artemio. "I believe our resolve and our cause are of the same fabric. We are family, we are committed to security above all else. Altéa will ensure that we hold up our guarantees to Kaliburg and we hope they can see that our ambitions do not cross paths with their concerns." stated His Majesty. The Crown Prince spoke with Queen and Tsarina, Anastasia before heading to the Royal Court. Talks were brief, but the Crown Prince hoped everything "in her home country would soon improve for the benefit of all Keris".
The Crown Prince was then taken to the Royal District where he gave a large speech to the Royal Court and the Royal Council. The Crown Prince's speech was televised throughout the continent, where he received a standing ovation by all members of the court. King Artemio walked up to the Crown Prince after his speech and stood with him at the golden podium for a moment. Upon leaving the royal court, King Artemio and the Crown Prince had another conversation at El Capitolio with the Royal Council. According to details, they both spoke of military cooperation in the region for future dates and a commitment to keeping strong ties between House Ananto and House Montalivet. The Crown Prince and Princes were taken back to the private airport to continue their journey. The Crown Prince left Altéa with a strong, informal alliance with Egelion and a commitment of security on behalf of King Artemio.

After hinting at future cooperation years back during a meeting in Metz-Leonid, members and companies of the Egelian defense sector are in Gemun to discuss a multi-billion dollar deal to invest in the naval forces of Bianjie. The deal involves some of Egelion's largest companies such as: Novantica, Grupo Ortega, and the well-established Banco Cascabel-Otienda. The aforementioned companies are set to help Gemun formalize a sound and stable naval procurement program to create new naval fleets for the nation's armed forces. Novantica is Egelion's largest naval and industrial company to date. Their entire goal in Gemun, according to CEO Veronica Valenzuela, is to make purchases of vessels available to Bianjie and to provide them with expertise to create their own shipbuilding sector.
The program will be under Novantica-Gemun, a new subsidiary of the main company, who will operate in Bianjie to help guide new construction efforts. Cascabel-Otienda, Egelion's largest bank and company, already established in Bianjie will provide several financial options for the nation, given that the projects is expected to reach the 6 billion Crown price tag. Of the project, the goal is to create one large amphibious assault and transport vessels for Bianjie, as well as 3 different frigate models and 2 destroyers. Each of these ships is expected to be built in Bianjie's own dockyards to help improve employment rates and keep expanding the Bianjian industrial sector. The CEO's of Grupo Ortega, Novantica, and Cascabel-Otienda released the news to the press outside of Novantica's headquarters in Altea this afternoon. All three CEO's agreed that the commitment to Bianjie's national defense was a goal for Altea and a necessity from King Artemio. This moves does come alongside the news of Xsampa's own military expansion with Egelion. Altea's commitment to security in Dovani does not come out of nowhere as a rising Vascania threatens peace and stability in the region. Cascabel-Otienda has stated that work on these vessels is expected in the next three months with a final time table of 5 years for total completion. "We expect this project to not only help Bianjie, but give the two nations a sense of self-sustained security and cooperation between Dovani and Keris.

This afternoon, King Artemio and Queen Anastasia, Tsar and Tsarina of Nadiya and Monarchs of New Endralona and Kizenia respectively, introduced the future heir of the crown at Villamor Palace. For the first time since his birth 3 years ago, the Prince of Amateria, Léon Alexander, made his existence officially known to the people of Keris. The Prince of Amateria smiled for the cameras set up by the nation's press and behaved like any toddler would. His joyous and expressive manners kept many reporters in awe. King Artemio spoke with the press individually and claimed the royal family felt the time was finally right for his son to make an appearance in front of the press. Many questioned the king over keeping his son hidden away for 3 years following his birth. He expressed that tradition in Egelion has been this way for years--reminding them that his own first appearance in front of cameras happened when he was 8 years old along with his sister. "It is unusual yes, but we believe that we should not be putting cameras in our children's' faces once they are born. We may be royals, but we are parents too. We will do so only when we are ready for them to do so. In order for our way of governance to exist without fault, we must ensure our children are prepared for such a massive invasion of their private lives."
The Prince of Amateria resembles his mother the most, according to many major news outlets. Critics and commentators have claimed that the crown prince's looks are most "Nadiyan" than they are Egelian. It is unknown however whether the prince's yet to be seen sister will resemble her father or mother more. Queen Anastasia claimed that she would take the Prince of Amateria to Nadiya in the next coming weeks to show the new heir of Trigunia and of New Endralon. Prince Léon Alexander is set to become one of Terra's most influential leaders when he assumes the throne after Artemio as he now claims the thrones of Trigunia and of Kizenia through a direct connection to Prince Karoly. King Artemio's sister, the Princess Carlota, and her own kids, Valerian (6) and Victoria (7), will visit their new young family member in Altea before going to Eroncourt to meet with the dying Canrillaise King Louis XII. Princess Carlota has taken over House Montalivet's finances since her father King Romulo died and is seeking to consolidate more funds with her "cousins" in Eroncourt. She was sent on behalf of King Artemio as soon as Prince Léon Alexander was born. The family is together and celebrating the new prince as the nation watches on knowing the lineage is secure for many years to come.

Castillo Garibaldi (Royal Directory), under the final year of Duke Montalivet, was proud to announce the completion of two supercarriers jointly built by Novantica and Xsampa. Two state-of-the-art supercarriers, the A.R.E Invencible and the X.N.S. Riwo Ganden (Joyful Mountain) were inaugurated into Egelion and Xsampa's navies respectively. The 3 billion Crown carriers, capable of holding several modern fighters, personnel, and a modern CATOBAR system are now the lead ships for both nations. Duke Montalivet, who oversees the entire Egelian Royal Armed Forces, stated that the ship represents a new era of Egelian naval complexity and organization. With the completion of a new supercarrier and 10 Caille-Class Submarines, capable of launching Egelion's ICBMs, the naval forces of the nation are prepared to handle threats and global security on a much larger scale. The 10 Caille-Class submarines, also inaugurated at the port of Cartablanca, were part of the expansion that included the supercarrier. The XNS Riwo Gandedn left the port of Cartablanca for final sea trials a few days ago to the Sovereign Sea, where it would be received by the Xsampan government for its own use. Duke Montalivet called the final naval expansion of the Armada a "win for Egelion, Keris,a nd the Anantonese region". With the lack of a stable and peaceful world order, Montalivet claims that the new forces will help "reinforce the feelings of safety in Terra" given Egelion's ample aid to countries in need.
As Castillo Garibaldi celebrated the new supercarrier and submarine fleet, it also announced yet another project with the Xsampan government, this time the creation of a program which focuses on the development of a new generation fighter jet for common use between Egelion and its Dovanian allies. The program, while still in its early stages, will engineers from Leonex and Grupo Ortega for software and technical uses, while Xsmapa will provide several technicians and resources for both countries to use. Castillo Garibaldi claimed that the new program will focus on creating multirole fighters as well as quick response mechanisms. Chere is no time table or focus on the fighter program as of now, but the Royal Directory states that it will take ten years before a meaningful prototype is released. "We are very happy with our newer Rafale R5s and our Unionfighters. they are more than capable. But our quest for innovation and modern capabilities excites us--especially when joined by our allies", says Duke Montalivet. A new era of military readiness and capabilities has begun for Egelion and its allies. A new reality is set for Keris, Dovani, and the eastern hemisphere.
