After controversies in the Xsampan-Tel Biran conference about the future of Yeudi and Xsampan relations, the talks have reached a point of progress which required the approval from Bannerhafen, according to the Directorate for Foreign Affairs long and arduous talks with the South-Dovani communist nation have resulted in an agreement acceptable to the Triad. After jointly inspecting the disarmament of the Nisrad, Xsampa will establish a special administrative zone with the ultimate goal of integrating Rishon le Hofesh over the length of fifteen years. The rest of the Nisrad and Haifbourg itself have been asked to join the Bannerhafen in the Triad and reform the Member republic of Himmelshtern and instead found the “Member Republic of the Holy Land.” Some argue that the pressure was too high for Haifbourg to decline, others voice the opinion that the electorate of the Nisrad would have wanted to rejoin their brethren in the Triad sooner or later anyways. Schuhbeck conceded that this is a controversial development, but one that will help stabilize the unclear Nisrad realities. “Some of the less politically structured Nisrads remain in the shadows, and the shadows breed villainy.” Anyways, according to the office of the President, the Triad is “read to take more responsibility.” Other political factions in the Senate look less favorably to the decision, both the VVP and the GRP stated Schuhbeck’s maneuvering wasn’t optimal, they suggested to ask the people of the Nisrad via an “open” referendum. The Yeudi Citizen Party in Himmelshtern welcomed the efforts to consolidate the people of Amudim under a protective umbrella but have warned the central government in Bannerhafen to respect the political sovereignty of the city-states.
Media representatives have asked the President at a press conference to comment on international opinions on the matter. “Some were trying to control Xsampa, some were trying to threaten action with their pseudoimperial authority, in the end the Xsampans have made a decision with two stakeholders in the region, none of the things agreed on have any negative impact on the nation, nor the politics, we see the dangerous powers of symbolism and the illusion of ideological solidarity shattering right in front of our eyes. We do not understand why the Kingdom of Egelion finds it necessary to antagonize the Triad multiple times, without any provocations, it just shows the insecurity of the puppy lion. The even bigger mystery is the general geopolitical incompetence in Kaliburg, they’re seething at their mouths, voicing borderline-schizophrenic statements about nations they seem to know nothing about, using the name Beiteynu is an affront to the sensitive issues at play and the Kalistani is trampling like the peasant he is over the history of the region. Foreign Affairs Director Petra Alders (DRP) has recently travelled to the Triad’s long standing friend and historically bonded brother-nation Deltaria meeting Prime Minister Horvat and other important officials. The public part of the meeting culminated in a symbolic gesture before an old monument showing two members of the Thaller family shaking hands, one from the Darnussian branch and one from the Deltarian branch, while neither are officially orthodox Thallerist, the two have over centuries maintained a strong relationship collaborating in both military and economic aspects. The trend of stability in the political landscape of Deltaria prompted the renewed interest in embracing this historic partnership. After the festivities, the Foreign Minister of Deltaria and Alders to an unremarkable Deltarian office space used by the government for various meetings.
According to local reporters, the meeting lasted for hours, rumors have it that the two “colleagues” were enjoying beverages while negotiating a business deal. We had to wait a few days for the revelation of the actual results of the meeting but now we have them. The Directorate for Foreign Affairs decided to open a branch office in Cahtica to host an expansive corp of Triad diplomats and various other foreign affairs officials, the first act of the branch office is going to be the signing of the so-called “Treaty of Eternal Brotherhood between the Triad Republics of Narikaton, Darnussia and the Holy Land and the Augustan Empire.” Among the various more “celebratory” clauses without much normative substance, the treaty encompasses the foundation of the so-called “Majatra Prosperity Alliance,” (MPA) a state entity owned by the Triad which is designated as a mixture of investment bank, wealth fund and economic coordination office. President Schuhbeck issued a directive which assigns 10 billion Triad Credits to the MPA in an effort to boost investment confidence, the corporate forces have already publicly appreciated the move and assured their full cooperation as well as best efforts in investing in Deltaria for mutual benefit.”

Fort William and Bannerhafen, a heavyweight relationship crafted and dominated by uncertainty. No longer said President Schuhbeck as she visited the frenemical ally of the Triad with a concrete plan in mind: doing it. Doing what? Embracing it, embracing that the Holy Luthorian Empire and the Triad all along were geopolitically aligned, that our interest were harmonious all this time. Diplomatic frameworks, complex international law obligations have been legally making the two be defensive allies all the time, but these treaties have rarely been used if at all, these issues had to be addressed in the secretive meeting between the Triad President and the Luthorian Prime Minister, the Artanian meeting of a century.
The office of the President in accordance with the Directorate for Foreign Affairs confirmed the success of these long, arduous and probably often irritating talks, the two neighbouring nations decided to sign the so-called “Final Alliance.” A final act of friendship to smelt the icy mountain of uncertainty away and embrace the alliance of Luthori and the Triad. While the exact detailed text of the contract isn’t available to the public, some key things have been published by the appropriate Defence authorities. The Luthorian Empire and the Triad are going to form a joint command center, share intelligence and have various military obligations toward one another: one attack against one of them is an attack against the other. Other aspects of the treaty have been speculated on but are not a certainty such as cooperative development of military assets and/or joint operations, these will likely happen from time to time on a regularly maintained schedule without the explicit knowledge of the public. Speaking of the public: foreign affairs officials of both nations have confirmed that there will be a festive act of ratification and more details for the electorate.
In any case, what is left to say? Two geopolitical forces have united, may those fear that deserve it. (Damn commies.)

The member states of the Triad specifically Narikaton and Darnussia and Istalia have had a rocky relationship historically. Historians explain this by ideological alignments of the past which caused the relationship to be permanently stained by mutual hostility/and or suspicious restraint. In any case, the Imperial State of Istalia has made the first step forward in a very unexpected turn of events and approached the Majatran branch office of the Directorate to initiate talks with Bannerhafen, mostly due to their interest in structuring and improving relations with the 3rd Point Federation. Many politicians as well as large parts of the electorate hold a sceptic attitude toward the behind-the-scenes talks between the two. Some argue that the burnt bridges left by past decades of Thallerism can never be rebuilt, others counter that real-existing Thallerism has ceased to exist for at least a millenium and that the two nations are natural allies due to their geopolitical interests.
Experts explain that the shift in Istalian attitude is a by-product of their reconciliation with Deltaria which ironically has a Thaller sitting on its throne. An anonymous official from the Presidential Chancellory stated that “if the Deltarians and the Istalians can be friendly, so can we.” It seems like that time will tell how the sands of time flowing will heal historic wounds.

Terrorists Strike 3rd Point Outpost near Haifbourg

A cowardly attack has struck at the 3rd Point Outpost near Haifbourg and Trachimbrod. The privately run checkpoint and barracks is locally known as the Haifbourg South corporately sponsored by FlexyGarrison Bronze Plus Package and is manned by brave men and women of a private company called FlexyGarrison. A recent count has confirmed up to eighteen fatalities and forty wounded. The leader of the outpost, the Vascanian Junior Regional Manager Ranjit Balay, confirmed the attack on behalf of FlexyGarrison and condemned the action: "We are a multicultural company doing an important job that we were hired to do, this attack is unprovoked, cowardly, and most of all a true terror in the hearts of the families that have lost relatives today."
The terrorists struck just after nightfall, with several vehicles approaching the outpost at high speed. Perimeter guards were cautious to open fire immediately, as the corporate handbook describes an 18 step process for de-escalation in threatening times. Nonetheless, a supervisor ordered guards to open fire. Two of the four vehicles were neutralised and the remaining two stopped at the main checkpoints. This turned out to be a distraction as terrorists had snuck inside, several placed explosives erupted shortly after all vehicles were either neutralised or had come to a halt. One bomb specifically targeted the armament tent, which is the exact location where guards first report in an emergency to receive their corporate firearms. The attack has claimed lives of dedicated Vascanians, brave local Yeudi volunteers and proud citizens of Narikaton and Darnussia. Bannerhafen and FlexyGarrison have opened a joint investigation into the cruel attack.

A Symphony of Uncertainty: 5682 Elections heat up under increased International Tensions

After the notorious Shar-Mearvi Conference culminated in the territorial carving up of the Nisrad hosting Haifbourg between the Triad and Xsampa, politics in Narikaton/Darnussia/Himmelshtern show strong signs of polarization as well as politcal uncertainty which are going to make the 5682 elections results unforseeable. Internationally the reception of this diplomatic development have been mixed but in the direct vicinity of the territory in questions, geopolitical pillars believed to be eternal have been shaken up due to this expansion, most importantly: The relationship between Wiel and Bannerhafen.
The two – by now – historically traditional partners have been working as stabilizing forces in the surrounding region for decades even transcending ideological lines as the Worldburnerist republic and the Triad still had at least cordial diplomatic stances toward each other. The new constitutional-liberal regime of in Wiel certainly has fueled the fires of rapidly deteriorating relations with the Three Republics as they’ve branded the Triad as colonialist villains without starting any serious diplomatic talks with Bannerhafen, clearly baiting the world into a conflict. While political experts and many international legal experts reject the assertiveness the Triad has shown in the conference, the Centrist-Far-Right coalition of President Schuhbeck is adamant in defending the Triad’s role as the inevitable entity all Nisrads are supposed to end up in. Other Majatran powers are cautious with framing the situation in former Beiteynu in any specific way; curiously other notable geopolitically active nations such as Istalia and Deltaria have in fact approached the Triad, including the nation of Zardugal which recently escaped from the isolationist shell. The opinion of the people of Haifbourg is split on the issue, while an official referendum has not been held yet, statistical analysts have seen data and they explain “the further away from Himmelshtern, the less the people want to be part of the Triad.” This confirms what some try to argue away: “Not every Amudim citizen sees itself as an individual protected by the Triad and aims to be its citizen.” While this political issue wont be solved soon, the hostile elements in the Holy Land have started to act, some already speak of “Terrors coming” others see this as a single attack, the attack on the 3rd Point Outpost south of Haifbourg is shaking domestic confidence but also stirring the nationalist block.
The political consequences of the geopolitical heat are curious, the President is more or less chained to its current coalition partner the far-right Nationale Union, which holds very different views now than they did when they still entered the coalition as the “TKP.” They’re not sold on the green transformation or expansion of civil liberties, they especially reject the abolishment of the two state religions: Hosianism and Yeudism. Many expected that Schuhbeck was gambling on being able to form her second administration with the social democratic GRP, but both the left and the right wing of the nation have declined to work with Schuhbeck as “her reckless geopolitical maneuvers have left the Triad in a position counter-intuitive to its nature.” Both opposition parties also heavily criticized the strong militarization decrees the president issued, hiring subcontractors to defend the outskirts of Haifbourg while the actual Triad Federal Army stays in Himmelshtern and is busy fortifying regions from Himmelshtern and downward. Sympathizers within the conservatives are disappointed at Schuhbeck that many of her business-savy projects are now frozen due to the military/security needs of the Triad. Now as the VVP and the GRP more or less work together in their aims to get rid of Schuhbeck, can the President still win? She holds many a heart for her reformist nature and breaking old political patterns; also some expansionist fanfare has never hurt a political campaign, who is gonna lead the Triad in the dark times to come?

All eyes on the television was the mantra for the election night in November 5682. Nobody was really sure what to expect in the high-tension year, between global conflicts breaking out and even the Triad’s on security in peril, many were asking the same existential question from two hundred years ago; Are we safe, can we trust our own hegemony?

In a practical sense, the election represents asking this question to those claiming to have the answer to it. Incumbent President Annemarieke Schuhbeck who faced intense criticism due to her negotiations with Xsampa, the terror attacks near Haifbourg and her frozen domestic projects. Other voices share their fears of increased iron-fisted rule in Bannerhafen, despite her centrist-liberal appearance and first years in office, Schuhbeck has proven an ice-cold (geo)political strategist. Her use of PMC’s and the Federal Military to militarize the Majatran Third of the Triad now dubbed “the Holy Land.” Her odd developing obsession with yeudi affairs has now come into question too, some – very weird – parts of the political scene have questioned her background as an unnamed source claimed that she “suddenly appeared, at a certain date, any info on her is nowhere to be found.” Most shake these speculations off, rightfully so. In any case, the opposition meaning that both the Left and the Right, GRP and VVP together in an unprecedented moment in political history have agreed on putting forth an independent candidate: Zellmut Kohl, he was supposed to lead the Triad back to its form, expediate the disarmament of Haifbourg and then release it to self-government; In the end he lost against Schuhbeck in an arguably not even close race. Annemarieke Schuhbeck managed to win a second term with 57% of the vote. Political experts explain this success due to the lacking profile of Kohl, who is only known in constitutional-law circles, and only gathers popularity among technocrats. Playing on the emotions that may be caused by imperial nationalism has worked for the incumbent and now re-elected President.

Unfortunately for her party, she could not reproduce those results in the Senate. The legislative body of the Triad remains competitively fought over with the DRP (29%) and VVP (28%) divided by one percentage point. The GRP experienced a crash and burn moment, finishing in third with 20% of the votes. “The fourth parties” the NU (formerly TKP) made small gains with 13% and the YBP lost some votes to the DRP with 10%. This constellations raises doubts, the mandate in the Senate will not suffice to safe Schuhbeck from the inevitable motion of no confidence. Meaning that the President will be significantly weakened if she cannot find a partner willing to follow her cause of expansionist and hawkish foreign policy. While the NU has already announced its intention to continue the current administration with the DRP, the suspected third party in the mix, the Yeudi Citizen Party, has maintained a certain mysterious position until recently; they’ve agreed to supply confidence for political appointments in the governance of Haifbourg.

In a bold move, Schuhbeck has ordered the mobilization of all Majatran Forces which primarily leads to heavy defensive build-up in the Himmelshtern member Republic but also to the raising of volunteer and “Gold-Level” mercenary forces maintained on retainer. Their orders: Clear. According to an announcement of the Ministry of Defence, the Sholemberg “Guarantee Force” has penetrated the borders with no resistance coming from Hischar. According to the political Commissar of the Troop “the mission is to fulfil the diplomatic-legal obligations the Triad has toward the Nisrad of Hischar, Sholemberg and its surroundings have an ‘guarantee of independence’ from the Bannerhafen regime, and we, me, the troops intend to keep this promise. On an diplomatic front, the Vice-Director for Majatran Affairs confirmed the official stance of the Triad toward the coupists: “We do not negotiate with Terrorists.”

The sitting administration in the Bannerhafen center of power did let the public wait quite a few days before officially commenting on the situation in the Majatran Third of the Triad. Together with her trusted cabinet members Schorsch Forsch (DRP – Vice Director for Majatran Affairs) and the Director for Foreign Affairs Peter Halbzahm (NU) she enters the decadent press conference hall of the presidential palace in Bannerhafen to take the podium.
“Ladies and Gentlemen of the press,
My fellow citizens of the Triad,
Grave concerns are what I have when I look to the world, the freedom loving people’s of this world are under constant attack of upstarts- imperialists- cryptofascists and all other sorts of maniacal minds the villainous energies of Terra have birthed.
Now, officially, we’re at war: - War against Terror - Our way of life is under attack, our allies and close friends have been illegally attacked by a “militia” some dubbed local- but we have definitive proof that these are foreign fighters, or at least foreignly supported fighters, agitators from what we once considered a sister-nation – Vanuku - are actively trying to make us break our promise to Hischar. But we are not going to, we have guaranteed their independence and the occupation of their capital is threatening this sovereignty.
I have authorized full-force and ordered additional security protocols in all the other Triad-administrated territories in Haifbourg and the Hischar-regions we’ve secured from Terrorist threat. To think that the once great and stabililzing world force of the Kingdom of Wrnuke would stoop so low as to attack their former allies and closest friends; even the Worldburnerists were not as deceptive and morally degraded as the current government of Vanuku. We will not let the Jelbics threaten the peace our forefathers – and ironically their forefathers – have created.
As a temporary security measure we’ve suspended 3rd Point Command Structure and have relocated all operations and information flow to the joint headquarters of the Triad and the Empire of Luthori; Only a select circle have unrestricted access to Intel and military assets, any full-members will have to ask for authorization of channels and equipment.
There are snakes all around us, they will be eliminated, exterminated with a relentless violence. All forces are on deck, the navy is mobilized, the Grand Armada will not allow any hostile and disrupting activity; Everyone is safe, but we have to contain the threat.
