Kalistani Chancellor and media rather "confused", responds Sholemberg's Bureau of Foreign Affairs

Sholemberg, Hischar Nisrad - The Kalistani Chancellor's statements and subsequent reporting in The Kalistani Republic earlier this week, referring to the Shar-Mearvi Conference as the "Xsampa-Beiteynu Summit" fired up some controversy with diplomatic circles over the weekend, with many also grimacing at the Chancellor's insinuations and "threats" at "punishing a sovereign state" for attempting to repair age old wounds.

Sholemberg's own Bureau of Foreign Affairs released a press statement very early on Monday, confirming that the Hischar Nisrad, that's the City State of Sholemberg in the northeast of the former Homeland State of Beiteynu, is not part of the ongoing talks between Tel Bira and Metz-Leonid.

The release expressed concerns over "evident state confusion" on the part of Kaliburg, also highlighting the importance of "working together" to "clear out the air of confusion on who's participating in the conference". Although the document was clearly attempting to keep the tone warm and open, critics were quick to make public remarks on social media commenting on Kalistan's "erratic and mismatched foreign policies", with many circling back to decade old references of the "fiasco of Kalistani involvement in Kundrati", which led to "hundreds of thousands of deaths, instead".

The release and subsequent political statements coming out of Sholemberg were echoed in the Triad Republic of Narikaton, Darnussia and Himmelshtern, with a local YVP official (the Vereinigte Volkspartei's offshoot in Himmelshtern) trending on Tuesday with a comment on the "inconsequence of a cryptocommunist supposed empire".

On Tuesday afternoon, Sholemberg's Bureau of Foreign Affairs confirmed it had received a briefing on the conference from Tel Bira. A day later, Bannerhafen's foreign affairs branch in Himmelshtern hinted at potential parallel trilateral talks with Xsampa.

Himmelshtern, Narikaton, Darnussia and the Holy Land - As part of the terms agreed upon in the Shar-Mearvi conference between the Democratic Republic of Xsampa and the City State of Tel Bira, the former has completed its ratification of the Migrant Accords, setting the stage for Metz-Leonid's deployment - for the first time - of forces in and close to the Migrant's Pass.

Alongside Xsampa, the currently active members of the Migrant Accords include Selucia, Pontesi and Lodamun. 

The latter offers a testament to the framework's strength as a pillar for the 3PF, considering that, despite the Lodamese Navy destroying a Yeudi warship in 5665 in the Migrant's Pass of all places, military command in Himmelshtern had immediately scaled back, instead.

To satisfy the terms of the Shar-Mearvi agreement and to ensure maximum efficiency and integration, the designated DMZ A will exclude Rishon Le Hofesh, allowing for Xsampa to deploy naval forces directly to the city. Grounded speculations have surmised that the 3PF's navy will include extensive tactical and coordination exercises, with naval officers hopeful that the operations may resolve chronic budget gridlocks for Yeudi fleets [...].

Sholemberg's Bureau of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that the city state is currently in talks with Fort William, regarding the 3PF.

Sholemberg, Hischar Nisrad - In a press conference yesterday morning, Sholemberg's government spokesperson kept evading media questions in regards to the increased police presence, effectively providing no answers. The same thing happened this morning, despite the barrage of questions.

Amudim's - now excluding the former Medebir Nisrad - police force is one of the most heavily militarised on the planet, owing to the disbandment of the Beiteynuese army and the subsequent transfer of hardware and budget to the police over the last few decades. With the extensive administrative reforms taking place almost across the entire Holy Land, local populations have become increasingly more cautious and suspicious.

Airliner projections have also tanked for the remainder of 5680, as tourism takes a hit from the volatility and uncertainty currently gripping the Holy Land - despite recent renewed attempts at cultural reinvigorations.

After all, it does not really help when you see armed military-looking police carrying automatic rifles openly on almost every corner.

Ballistic missile command to shut down under Xsampan supervision; 482 ICBMs to be dismantled

Himmelshtern, Triad Republic - As part of the Shar-Mearvi agreement between Xsampa and Tel Bira, the former has completed its first inspection and subsequent remediation report of the Hosheh, the former Haifbourg-based ballistic missile command. All of the installations present in the Holy Land and specifically on the mountain line between the Medebir Nisrad and Pontesi to the southeast, will shut down by the end of the year.

The entire initiative will be very closely watched by both the administrative officials of the Democratic Republic of Xsampa through its FOB in Rishon Le Hofesh and DMZ A, as well as the Triad Republic through its transition liaison offices in Himmelshtern.

The ASBM (Anti-Ship) grid will remain online, as part of the bilateral military agreement between Pontesi's Octagon military command and the City State of Sholemberg (which inherited the responsibility after taking over jurisdiction of the city of Amshinov).

An undisclosed number of remaining non-nuclear ICBMs - speculated in the vicinity of 1508 - will be transferred to the 3rd Point Base, which will continue to operate its already active ICBM grid, now transferred to naval command in Himmelshtern and the Lekavot Island north of the city.
