Interim government in Yishelem confirms multilateral talks underway; declares Selucia an enemy of the State and the Yeudi People

Yishelem, Free Land of Amudim - Hostilities ceased rather immediately across the entire former Triad Republic land, following the evolving situation in Selucia, the emergency meeting and legislative freeze in Wiel earlier this month, and Narikaton and Darnussia's own sudden guard change during the summer, with the appointment of former Chancellor of Himmelshtern Karl-Heinz Sztermann as Stadhouder.

All events compounded into a pivotal moment, setting the stage for trilateral talks between Vanuku, the Free Land of Amudim and the Triad Republic itself, despite the latter still holding Himmelshtern.

Rumours seem to indicate that a regional agreement may be in the works - and another redrawing of the map of the Holy Land. Rebel forces have moved administrative offices from Sholemberg to Yishelem.

Although unconfirmed, sources also commented on Pontesi's involvement in some manner.

What the interim government in Yishelem was clear about, however, was the fact that the rebel forces had pushed for the re-formation of Sholemberg's political parties and the re-instatement of special offices, once belonging to the Beiteynuese Government. A political student group was actually sighted moving an AC and a fridge into the defunct Medinat Department's former headquarters.

As of this date, it remains unclear who the new governmental or political leaders are.

Tel Bira has declined to comment.

Finance Office freezes all Selucian assets and transactions across the Neset

Tel Bira - The halls of the Bankaut's expo this year were buzzing with skeptical whispers; C-Suite and assistants alike bent over their phones, grave looks on their faces and talking about the recent horrors that have quite suddenly and violently struck the Yeudi Diaspora that resides very close to home.

The Foreign Office broke its silence on the steady, relentless and still ongoing efforts of mass imprisonment of hundreds of thousands of Selucian-Yeudis following extensive international activity - sending its heartfelt appreciation to the Triad Republic, Egelion - especially for immediately wiping its hands clean off of the Selucian-Egelian claims made earlier this year, Kalistan and the Kalistani-Yeudi Diaspora, the Xsampan Premier Sherab Aurousseau and Istalia for showing solidarity with the Yeudi Diaspora during this trying times.

Sadly, the exposition of the Meleh's Gem in Fort William earlier this summer was tarnished by the continuously deteriorating situation with Selucia.

The Deputy Foreign Secretary commented that Tel Bira, albeit neutral in all affairs, will stand together with the Yeudi People and is ready to enter talks with the interim government in Yishelem, in order to hasten a solution. He further added that the city is willing to pay any relocation fees, should the current Selucian "executive branch" choose to enter into sensible talks.

Several corporations of the Neset have pledged their financial support to the City State of Tel Bira, in order to assist with the potential evacuation and rescue of "as many Yeudis as possible".

Knesset scheduled to re-open its doors in Yishelem and hold first elections for the Homeland States in 5699; Tel Bira to continue independent of central government

Yishelem, Amudim - The interim central government hastily established in Yishelem last year (officially just last week) has been scrambling to put out fires in multiple fronts, both at home and abroad.

Reportedly, leadership in this interim administration is of a multinational origin: Jelbic, Pontesian and Triad Republic past and present officials represent almost 60% of the interim cabinet. And quite justifiably, considering both the ongoing heated debate on a renewed agreement between all sides, as well as extensive joint economic and other interests in Amudim, Tel Bira and the Neset, as a whole.

Hannah Metzayot, appointed Deputy under Interim Defence Secretary Balthazar Tzafrir from Vanuku, was sent out recently to meet the consortium organised by the Imperial State of Istalia towards addressing the situation in Selucia - advising caution against military escalation, from the get-go.

The political landscape

Josh Goldbloom's legacy in Sholemberg shortly after the dissolution of Beiteynu at the onset of the century remains until today, with the Sunflower Wing expected to carry most of the weight in 5699's scheduled elections under the efforts of Canrillaise-Yeudi Ishmael Aristocrat-Goldbloom, who returned from Dunburg (Dundorf) amidst the navy's pushback against rebel forces in 84' in a rather spectacular fashion, seen on social media digging and joining the frontlines together with the rebels for months.

The party - a mixture of center-right and direct right-wing in national conservatism - is followed by the equally nationalist Liberal Urban Party, Yeudi Regime Coalition led by Francois Undersand - a prominent Canrillaise-Yeudi who served as Speaker of the Tadrika Knesset in Sholemberg for 25 years - and Homeland, which shares extensive traits with Valruzia's own political Yeudi representation.

The Undersand YRC and Aristocrat-Goldbloom SW are expected to go toe-to-toe, according to polls.

Tel Bira's special case

Tel Bira remains outside of the entire thing, maintaining its own separate government, despite joining the interim government in Yishelem in simply reaffirming the Haniyaret. A joint statement on Friday afternoon by both Tel Bira's Foreign Office and Yishelem's Interim one seemed to calm markets on opening bell in the TBSE on Monday - owing to clarifications of Tel Bira remaining neutral and independent.

There has been a centuries-old tradition of private sector lobbying in the homeland, even since the earliest days of the Yesheeva before the 5300s. It's simply something that contrasts heavily with the domestic environments of most nations in the world and widely accepted that Tel Bira is the modern version of Yishelem's special lobbying district, now outside Yishelem's grasp.

And more protected - and shielded against Amudim's bad PR; and bad decision making.

A Dundorfian, a Jelbic and a Yeudi walk into a bar. As the Jelbic lights up a cigarette and the Dundorfian orders, the Yeudi picks up a pen and starts plotting about elaborate clauses on a napkin.

The Dundorfian spills beer on it. The Jelbic puts out their cigarette on it.

Abrupt end to the Shar-Mearvi Agreement

What all sides were adamant about, according to sources in Wiel, was the end of Canton 14 and Xsampa's administration of the DMZ A, to which Metz-Leonid promptly abided to just last week.

Early buzz over the weekend seems to indicate a heartfelt relief from Dovani, while several citizens and officials from around the world simply "waved away" Xsampa's successes on the de-armament of 17 nuclear weapons installations and several siloes, including the dismantling of more than 400 ICBMs.

Alas, but the world only minds its own nose and wonders when others look weird at it.

Moving forward

The amendment to the Haniyaret will take effect on September of this year, setting the stage for the re-organisation of the Central Government of the Homeland States of Amudim for the next decade.

Tel Bira's Finance Office and Central Bank will remain the fiscal and economic authorities in Amudim, enforcing the strictest of property and accounting laws, as per the standards of the Triad Republic's NSA.

Yishelem re-affirmed its relations with 35+ states last month. The Deputy under Interim Foreign Secretary Alexei Plebdhz also confirmed the dissolution of the Reshimat Hara.

Talks on diaspora-centric initiatives underway

Yishelem, Amudim - While neither Calatia nor the Olerian First Cohort share the Imperator's "thirst for Yeudi blood", the Restorationists have been the ones who maintained a clear position on the peaceful deportation of Selucian-Yeudis from the get-go. Despite the factional state of Selucia, the anti-Yeudi sentiment is shared across, prompting the issue to become a - if not the - top priority item on the Interim Government's agenda. Officials have in fact pursued non-agression since last year.

Based on sources with the Interim Foreign & Diaspora Office in Yishelem, Jelbic-Yeudi intelligence has had an ear on the ground since last summer, as opposition creeped up in West Aquilonia.

According to the Benowitz Foundation's archives, the population of the Yeudi Diaspora in Selucia is estimated at around 895K, about 1% of the country's total population of 89M. The Interim Government in Yishelem is reportedly working on an entitlements package, presumed to hit the ground running should ongoing talks lead to the mass emigration of Selucian-Yeudis to Amudim.

The package is also presumed to address welfare needs for Kundratijan-Yeudis and Jelbic-Pontesian-Yeudis who experienced damages and loss to their properties in recent years. The City Council of Haifbourg has been pushing for Tel Bira's participation in the initiative - the "ask" is speculated to sit around YSK 1.5 trillion, throwing a wrench in several RFPs to private contractors.

Sholemberg is also reportedly in talks with Narik-Darnussian-Yeudis on several naval related projects, including but not limited to the Bannerpakt and the Equifund concerning extensive industrial zoning in the North Bank for 8 military-grade shipyards.

Analysts have cautioned Yishelem to consider rising inflation, unemployment and interest rates as borrowing skyrockets, in light of the end of domestic hostilities and the reunification.

"First step" in entitlements reform for the diaspora, says Interim Secretary of Homeland Affairs

Yishelem, Amudim - The new stimulus package is part of a broader entitlements reform that the Interim Government in Yishelem plans to introduce by the end of the century.

A twofold goal, according to high-ranking sources: stabilise at home and attract from abroad.

A torn legacy for Kundratijan-Yeudis

Ever since 5641 and the days of the Legion, Yeudis from Kundrati have had it neither nice nor easy; decades later, the Justice Department still has pending cases against hundreds of individuals.

Of the 5% of minorities in Kundrati, Yeudis were 1 of the 6 prevailent ones. The steady and relentless demise of bilateral relations and joint trade and commerce since the extended entanglement of both countries in 5288 - followed by the devastating War of Lost Souls with the Empire of Canrille and Lourenne, and leading up to the years after the dissolution of the Homeland State of Beiteynu - eventually "ran its entire course" when the Legion came to power in Kundrati.

After those fateful months of '41 and in the years after it, the Benowitz Foundation has estimated that approximately 283K Kundratijan-Yeudis have immigrated to the Holy Land, leaving little to none back in Kundrati. BF's estimations relied more on a 10.5% projection of the 5% of documented minorities in Kundrati, and less to the paperwork trail leading to Amudim - due to the chaos on both sides of the aisle.

The foundation further backed its report by citing past records in Kasaema in regards to documented religions in the country, with Yeudism vaguely assumed as part of the 5% of multiple minority religions.

That, combined with all the context and the records on 6 prevailant minorities, has led the foundation to place the number at the lower end of the spectrum (5% / 6 = 16%-17%, lowered by 6 points).

Zardugal's curious Triad-sponsored case

About two decades ago, Simon Hamutal, then 32, stood at the port of Skrubio along with 2500 Zardic-Yeudis; his feelings, ambivalent, but with a sort of mixed determination to leave his home in Zardugal and immigrate to the Holy Land of his faith and beliefs.

The paid-for-by-the-Triad part of the initiative lasted a few years into '83, just as the liberation front began making strides in Sholemberg, while in '82, Commissar Glicirizo strengthened Zardic-Jelbic relations. The result, the Jelbic-Yeudi diaspora took on another part of the financial burden of the initiative, leading to a continuous flow of emigration from '79 to '83.

By '84, Amudim was well into its civil strife, inspiring just a few others to come and join the liberation cause, unofficially keeping Bannerhafen's innocuous initiative alive well into '85.

The paperwork is murky, the Benowitz Foundation's report highlights.

Most of the emigrants landed in Rishon Le Hofesh, which was firmly under Xsampan supervision as the DMZ A in '80. Although all of it remains intact, the foundation estimates that there are thousands of Zardic-Yeudis currently residing in Amudim with illegal paperwork.

The Interim Homeland Office hopes that, through the stimulus package, these undocumented people register, thus entering the system and receiving proper paperwork of permanent residence.

Estimations on that number rely on Zardic records, which place the Yeudi Diaspora under the 5% of documented minorities, with a reported 1% of the total population in Zardugal aspiring to Yeudism.

Assumed at 14% of that 5% (5 / 1 = 20%, lowered by 6 points as an error margin for more than 5 minorities) that's about 663K of the Yeudi Diaspora, in Zardugal. Accounting for an average of 4.3K of them immigrating to Amudim from '79 to '85, that's approximately 26K of the 663K.

The Interim Secretary of Homeland Affairs noted that the Homeland States of Amudim would be more than welcoming to more Zardic-Yeudis, however, he expressed concerns on budget constraints from the looming logistical strains that Yishelem has been planning for in regards to the situation in Selucia.

"We would be happy to discuss this with our friends from the South in a more organised manner, if needed", he said.

Both the police and the coast guard have increased their patrols in the southwest.

9 Gems?!

Archaic Museum verifies recovered Gem in Yishelem

Yishelem, Amudim - According to historical records and the legend of the Yeudi Heritage, Elior crafted 8 Gems. Yet the verification of another one in Yishelem last week poses quite the conspiracy-centric questions. Either 1 of 8 is fake - because all had been verified by 5668, or they're 9.

Let's recount, make sure we're not crazy

We know there's 1 in Kalistan, authenticated in 5591. Neither the museum nor the royal family have reported any issues with the White Gem during its multiple back-and-forth transfers.

2 (Dark) Blue were verified in Vanuku in 5476, when the Orleans-Vasser from Lourenne gifted them, a breath away from the War of Lost Souls. Exhibited non-stop, no issues reported.

That's 3.

2 (Dark) Green, unveiled the same year in Wiel and verified in 5551 - with one to have been at the center of Beiteynuese meddling in Cildania in the 5300s. Same deal, public, no problems.

That's 5.

1 Red Gem - the Diaspora Gem, 5668 in Hutori. Locked in royal vaults.

That's 6.

1 Holy Gem - the one first unveiled in Fort William in 5526, now publicly exhibited since 5688. No issues reported. The museum had in fact re-verified during Amudim's internal strife.

That's 7.

1 Green Gem, the other one first unveiled in Fort William that same year and verified. Then gifted to Maria Kadiyot - the last PM of Beiteynu - in 5591, presumably captured by Xsampa in 5642 and sold to Hutori in 5667, verified the next year in Bekenial. Locked in royal vaults.

That's 8.

Unknown Gem

The, ah, 9th of the 8 Gems of Elior appeared on the doorsteps of the Archaic Museum of Yishelem in March, in a box. The night guard picked the package and left it for the researchers. Staff only broke their silence just last week, justifying the delay in the announcement due to both the curious predicament of the retrieval and the fact that... it's genuine.

It really is 1 of the 8 Gems of Elior, accounting now for 9.

Fort William, Luthori - Fascination with Elior's 8 Gems has once again peaked; a new Unknown Gem appearing this spring out of thin air under very mysterious circumstances, Kalistan selling its extremely guarded White Gem to Hutori last month - with Bekenial now allegedly having 3 under its possession - and recent rumours that King Temrkai VII may be gifting Vanuku's 4 to the Homeland States, Yeudis from both at home and abroad have been flocking to Fort William, Bekenial and Wiel, non-stop.

Both United Medinat and Bei Airlines - the Neset's premier Yeudi-controlled airliners - have reported increased operational difficulty, issuing several RFPs to Istalian and Kalistani aerospace companies on the purchase of additional commercial aircrafts to "better serve" traffic spikes.

Yeudi Diaspora is larger than you might think

The Benowitz Foundation's continuous study of the Yeudi Diaspora focused this summer on Luthori, Hutori and Vanuku. "The Kalistani-Yeudi Diaspora of about 3M is but a drop in the ocean", the most recent report highlighted, "even if we take Valruzia out of current measurements".

Records in Kaliburg indicate the diaspora under the 5% mark of other minor ethnicities, with 3% documented practitioners of Yeudism. Assuming a range between 2.5M and 3.2M, that's about 60% of that 5%, making the number of the Kalistani-Yeudi Diaspora - by far - the largest minority.

By contrast, Fort William has an officially documented record of 4% of Luthorian-Yeudis, which accounts to approximately double of the Kalistani-Yeudi Diaspora, at 6M. After all, it's been common knowledge for quite a few centuries now that most Benowitz-related business activities originate from Central Artania and either Luthori or the Triad Republic of Narikaton and Darnussia.

Similarly, the Triad Republic itself records 5% - which is about 4.5M - though largely presumed as "underestimated", due to the extensive entanglement of both countries in recent centuries.

Vanuku's case is far more nuanced than that, the foundation reports. Wiel has not been distinguishing the Yeudi People as a "different race" from the Jelbic - only Yeudism, as a religion. Which may mean anything between accounting 33% of that 1% of "other minority ethnicities" at 425K and, quite literally, millions and millions of them. "We can't verify at this time", the report notes.

Hutori is another unverified case. Documents in Bekenial do not pinpoint to any Yeudi ethnicities or languages even under the hood of Majatran classifications, only noting Yeudism as one of the minority religions documented at around 4%. Considering historical records, the foundation has assumed a cap at 17.5% of that 4%, accounting to no more than 514K Hutorian-Yeudis. The report justifies the 17.5% by citing extensive business agreements and partnerships across the latest centuries, on multiple industries between Hutori, Amudim and the rest of the Yeudi Diaspora.

Yishelem takes affront to Kalistan

Noting the Kalistani Foreign Minister's "obtuse" comment on social media in February, the Interim Foreign & Diaspora Office has remained adamant on holding a neutral stance to Kaliburg.

Quote:Although the satirical position that the Government of Kalistan has chosen to maintain towards the reunification of our homeland, after extended domestic strife, is extremely disappointing and insulting to both the Yeudi People in Amudim and the Kalistani-Yeudi Diaspora, it makes much more sense for us to keep a neutral stance and seek other partners in the region.

Tel Bira declined to comment - citing that it has "no interests nor reasons" to claim a position. The City State also maintains no official relations with Kaliburg outside the Bankaut and NAM, in reference to the 5684 negotiations, which did not result in any further diplomatic/commercial agreements.

Yishelem also declined to comment on Mr. Maxwell's - the AYIC Director - publicly expressed frustration on the sudden and "unconsulted" removal of the White Gem. The statement sparked widespread speculation on social media over the weekend that the White Gem may be "the fake one".
