Delegation flies to Metz-Leonid; Yishelem looks to double-down on permanent peace with Xsampa

JANUARY 5704     |     POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE    |    @Neset

Metz-Leonid, Xsampa - One of the first policies of the Undersand Administration was to affirm its commitment to the permanent peace with Xsampa, seeking to officially extend a renewed olive branch and discuss potential joint intelligence and military guardrails with Metz-Leonid.

"We understand that healing is something that needs time", the administration's spokesperson stated earlier this morning in Yishelem; "but it also needs actions".

Yishelem's delegation has a clear mandate: open talks with Metz-Leonid without sacrificing an inch on clarity, transparency and cooperation with the Dovanian leader. The agenda also includes points on maritime trade routes in the Red Bass Ocean and the Vascanian Sea towards Seleya, citing the shipping industry's footprint in the Vamaj Network and the serious lack of defensive protocols in place to protect fleets from pirates and known unknown geopolitical nuisances.

"Xsampa's naval forces are formidable", a spokesperson for the delegation highlighted from Metz-Leonid; "and the SSA is one of the most stable frameworks, of which we remain ratifiers since 5693, signalling to us that Metz-Leonid is serious about sovereignty, self-determination and regional security".

Pressed about it, the Office of the Foreign & Diaspora Secretary issued a statement that there are increased concerns about Egelion's interventionism in Dovani and the Anantonese Ocean.

Metz-Leonid was highlighted as the strongest partner seeking to protect the continent from foreign influence, although analysts have criticised Xsampa's preferential treatment of Altea's military and other programs expanding rapidly in Dovani for the last few decades.

Yishelem cracks down on defence contracts as de-classified report showcases Egelion retrieving Yeudi-ICBM tech

FEBRUARY 5704     |     POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE    |    @Neset

Yishelem - The Homeland Defence Office spent the entirety of last week putting out fires after the Transparency Remediation Agency released an addendum of Tel Bira's still in the works report on Kundratijan-Yeudi missile-centric deals during the Legion's reign.

The documents reveal an intelligence trail tracing back to a meeting in Altea in 5636, which apparently included a high-ranking official from Egelion's side and a high-level executive of the Equifund. According to reallocated staff from the now defunct Kohev (Beiteynu's missile command), that particular meeting was referenced in a set of defence contracts closely related to Sato and Black Beisa.

A small section of the report indicates that the agenda may have included talks regarding the Empire of Ananto and Kalistan and Egelion's regional policies revolving around the Anantonese titan.

Black Beisa's appearance triggered alarms with the HDO, considering its involvement in both Sato's Yeudicho tech and nuclear weapons development. At first glance, it seemed that the makers of the atomic bomb that destroyed the capital of Xsampa had been in bed with Altea, indirectly contributing to the world's first offensive ballistic-level umbrella maintained by the Kerisian hegemon.

-

Both the HDO and Sato confirmed on Thursday that the Equifund's recent deal with Fort William remains intact after passing the highest standards of security clearances for the 3rd time.

-

Equifund's market cap skyrocketed on Friday's closing bell with the TBSE owing to widespread rumours that Bannerhafen, Wiel and Yishelem were getting ready to invest heavily in missile programs and an "extensive defensive regional umbrella".

The Foreign & Diaspora Office has declined to comment, citing security reasons under review.

Arboutit offers Fort William cultural trust with continued ownership for return of the gem
Proposal includes extended special provisos

FEBRUARY 5704     |     YEUDI DIASPORA    |    @Neset

Yishelem - Vanuku's return of 4 of the 8 Gems of Elior and the mysterious surfacing of a 5th one more than 10 years ago coincided with the reunification and subsequent formation of the Homeland States of Amudim, after almost a century of a fractured identity for an entire nation.

Elior's ancient stones, having fascinated Yeudis and non-Yeudis alike for centuries, had reached an unprecedented level of pride.

The return of the gems was equated with the reunification.

A common identity.

Reclaimed.

-

However, Hutori's subsequent polite decline to the Archaic Museum's request for the return of the 3 gems in their possession was quickly echoed by Luthori.

Although heavy marketing and campaigning by the Interim Government in Yishelem seemed to gain ground with public opinion, the topic was not picked up until a couple of months ago, when the Arboutit - the cultural heritage agency founded by the MCR in centuries past - inquired on the status of the regent in Bekenial. Why was no follow-up sent in later years?

Kalistani-Yeudi "counter" marketing has also eroded the public opinion's on the AYIC and the rhetoric coming in from Ananto on the Yeudi Heritage: even the Benowitz Foundation expressed its disappointment, referencing Mr. Maxwell's lack of response to various invites back in 5689.

-

Having received confirmation that there was indeed no follow-up, the Arboutit quickly jumped into action, forming a proposal that was eventually issued to Fort William last Friday.

The proposal stipulates that the 6th gem currently present in Luthori be placed in a permanent cultural trust, allowing for the Archaic Museum of Yishelem to make it part of its collection and exhibit in Yishelem, alongside the other 5 gems, while also allowing the OVAs to retain ownership.

It also includes a special proviso that the gem be transported back to Luthori for special occasions such as coronations and other momentous instances; both high-ranking officials with the Undersand Administration and the Archaic Museum have maintained that they seek to keep the millennia-old relations between Luthori and Amudim and by extension, Luthorian-Yeudis and the rest of the Neset.

Finally, the proposal includes the construction of an entire new wing for the Archaic Museum, dedicated to Luthorian and Luthorian-Yeudi culture and history.

-

The Arboutit has issued a similar proposal to Hutori via the Amudimim embassy in Bekenial.

-

The Benowitz Foundation has remained rather silent on the Arboutit's proposal. Sources with the Foreign & Diaspora Office have let slip that the Luthorian-Yeudi conglomerate Hadayim - the shipping titan sponsoring the Benowitz Foundation on behalf of the Benowitz Family - has traditionally sided with the conservative political scene in Fort William, sharing a position that the gem belongs to the diaspora.

Although unconfirmed, analysts have presumed that Luthori's close alliance with the Triad Republic may lead to their involvement in Bannerhafen and Wiel's regional pact - potentially complicating the situation since Vanuku has been adamant that the remaining gems in exile be returned to the homeland.

-

Will Luthori and Hutori heed the Holy Land's call on reclaiming a unified identity?

Comment below.

Amshinov pledges spaceports for tripartite agency; Sato and Kadenite among the first to bid for satellite-related programs

AUGUST 5704     |     POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE    |    @Neset

Amshinov, City State of Sholemberg - Wiel's call for the formation of a tripartite space-centric agency earlier this year was met with excitement from Amshinov's local authorities, considering the city's availability of specialised infrastructure right on the shores of the Yeladim Lake.

Amshinov's spaceports have been witnessing a shadow of their former activity after the dissolution of Beiteynu, as the infrastructure has been used solely for limited commercial launches.

Although the Finance Office declined to confirm, there have been rumours that the Government of Luthori may have reached an agreement to receive appropriate leases, as well.

The Homeland Defence Office was quick to clarify on Thursday that Yishelem will not be pursuing a reinvigoration of AllComm - Beiteynu's now defunct intelligence agency which offered the Allink's network of reconnaissance and military satellites for use by foreign nations.

However, the Allink's upgrade and related maintenance contracts will be issued to private suppliers exclusively of the Equifund, with a specialised scope towards telemetry and other guiding systems for naval and missile-centric commands for the Triad Republic, Vanuku and Amudim, as part of the recent announcement on the formation of a regional alliance between the aforementioned three.

The Equifund index continues to enjoy increasing returns, offering Tel Bira and defence-focused investors rather lucrative forecasts, as all three states begin to double-down on the manufacturing sector.

A vision of small government; Undersand Administration doubles-down on downscaling initiatives for the end of the decade
[Image: himmelshtern-news.png]

OCTOBER 5705     |     POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE    |    @Neset

Yishelem, Kadosh (Holy) Nisrad - "Proportional representation in the Knesset will remain our guiding torch for democracy", Canrillaise-Yeudi Prime Minister Francois Undersand underlined in his address to the Knesset - the first one since the foundation of the Homeland States of Amudim - on Thursday.

"You are the spokespeople of all the citizens of Amudim, Yeudi and non-Yeudi alike", he remarked, raising extensive eyebrows with the 75 representatives; a statement in sharp contrast to his campaign platform of heavy, conservative-based, Yeudi-centric nationalism.

Over the weekend, analysts have surmised that the "turn" in tactics for the Undersand Administration came after the recent secession of the City State of Himmelshtern from the Triad Republic - an attempt, as it seems, to avoid alienating not 1, but 2 major financial and industrial hubs in Amudim.

"73 of you are called upon to pave the future of our re-unified lands, each one, for their respective Nisrads. The new pillars of the Yeudi Homeland".

"And 2 of you", looking at the 2 special representatives from Himmelshtern and Tel Bira, "are the best of us when it comes to the global network of the Yeudi Diaspora - our peoples mark upon the world".

The Undersand Administration's reformation steps in regards to the installation of a now revised central mechanism built on top of the ashes of the Beiteynuese Government, have been deliberately slow.

There is an additional complexity to be addressed; and all that stems from having to manage the Haniyaret's extensive provisos on the local mandates of all 4 Nisrads, including all of their relations with Tel Bira and Himmelshtern, which maintain their own separate administrations.

Finance
What makes the gridlock even more complicated for the executive branch in Yishelem is the special agreement with Vanuku, Pontesi and Narikaton and Darnussia: the City State of Tel Bira remains the sole authority on fiscal and budgetary policies for programs that extend beyond individual Nisrads.

Hence, the reformation plans - in conjunction with Tel Bira's government - include the disbandment of Yishelem's own Finance Office and the transformation of Tel Bira's Finance Office into the Central Finance Office for all federal affairs across the entire land - Himmelshtern included.

However, Tel Bira's commitment to the Kalistani Non-Aligned Movement has created an additional headache for the Undersand Administration's defence related agenda.

Foreign Affairs
Himmelshtern, Tel Bira and Yishelem will continue to maintain separate foreign policies and, thus, independent Foreign Offices, complicating international relations for Amudim even further.

Defence
Federal infrastructure-related governance will remain with Yishelem, including the Homeland Defence Office, which, following Bannerhafen's recent military commitment to the City State of Himmelshtern, has turned its eyes to the only remaining hub that can support the HDO's naval strategy: Sholemberg.

-

In a nutshell, the vision for the make-up of the Central Government of Yishelem includes 2 major offices:

1) The Foreign & Diaspora Office, which does not represent Tel Bira nor Himmelshtern
2) The Central Homeland Office, with a goal to complete all necessary steps by the end of the decade, which will include a) a reformed Homeland Defence Office into the Department of Homeland Defence, and b) all remaining federal seats on behalf of all Nisrads and the City States, including:

2.1) Department of Homeland Affairs (The Moledet, transl: Homeland)
2.2) Department of Health & Welfare (The Tarbut, transl: Civilisation)
2.3) Department of Education, Sports, Religion, Science & Culture (The Hayim, transl: Life)
2.4) Department of Infrastructure, Agriculture & Industry (The Keren, transl: Foundation)
2.5) Department of Homeland Defence (The Ribonot, transl. Sovereignty)

With the Central Finance Office to remain with the City State of Tel Bira, including the International Neset Fund and the Central Bank of Amudim.

Tel Bira approves Knesset's first federal budget; extensive privatisations on the horizon: bids open to private contractors
[Image: himmelshtern-news-1.png]

OCTOBER 5705     |     POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE    |    @Neset

Tel Bira, City State of Tel Bira - The clear winner of 5705's budget issued by Yishelem to the Knesset - the first federal one since before the dissolution of Beiteynu - is the soon-to-be-formed Department of Infrastructure, Agriculture & Industry, otherwise referenced as the Keren (transl: foundation).

The budget, set to take effect in 5708 following the execution of several steps towards the completion of necessary reformation policies for the new government, splits 7% and 93% between the Foreign & Diaspora Office and the Central Homeland Office, respectively.

Largely indicating an inward-focus for the Undersand Administration for the remainder of the decade.

The Keren is set to take home 44% of that 93%, with sources close to the Prime Minister indicating the decision to be a tactical one, part of the PM's strategy to not only continue pledging support to the now decade-old diaspora-centric programs, but also for the Mazeltov Deal, details of which remain scarce.

Old friends in Dunburg
The Finance Office in Tel Bira has reached out to private contractors in Dundorf to re-bid and continue to have control over the maintenance, upgrades and operations of the entire freight and commercial train network across Amudim - Himmelshtern included.

A strategy for the next decade
Tel Bira's privatisation efforts have a two-fold strategy.

First, to unlock the output of value over the middle and long-term by introducing the element of competition for the private sector - meaning that contracts will be spread out as much as possible.

And second, largely following the Undersand Administration's mandate of cutting-down government costs and downscaling the state's involvement, to unload excess budget churned by a public sector that has remained sluggish, ineffective and - experts maintain - incompetent.

-

Further privatisation efforts are set to open across multiple sectors, including but not limited to airports, ports, renewable and nuclear energy, roads and agriculture - the latter specifically geared towards re-enforcing production in Amudim's only 2 fertile valleys in the northwest and kibbutz installations.

-

The Undersand Administration continues to hedge its bets of its financial policies panning out over the course of the next 15 years on recent defence-focused investments.

Not exactly a war economy policy; rather, a war economy sentiment.
