Yishelem suffers major blow; Nisrads claim victory against centralisation attempts - CHO to establish 5 departments across Amudim
[Image: himmelshtern-news-2.png]

JANUARY 5706     |     POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE    |    @Neset

Yishelem, Kadosh (Holy) Nisrad - The Prime Minister's address to the Knesset last year not only confirmed the 3-ministry structure for the central government, but also served as the Undersand Administration's platform to introduce its vision for the Central Homeland Office's scope.

Reportedly, over the course of the months since then, the Ministers from Haifbourg and Sholemberg put up a ferocious fight in opposition to the PM's plan of installing all of the CHO's departments in Yishelem - Sholemberg's Hischar Nisrad, in particular, the base state of the NSA and the Aristocrat-Goldblooms, was especially adamant about it, partially backed by Jelbic-Yeudi and Pontesian-Yeudi lobbying groups.

Yishelem "just a convenience"
To them, the former capital of the Homeland State of Beiteynu did not represent the capital of the Homeland States of Amudim - Yishelem is merely a "spatial convenience", solely owing its "organic selection" as the base of Amudim's Central Government only due to cultural context.

"Beiteynu is dead", the Deputy Minister for the Hischar (Trade) Nisrad stated last week; "in the aftermath of Yishelem's devastating decisions during the war with Xsampa and after centuries and centuries of a rather polarising track record of local, regional and global interference, we seceded".

"And we seceded for a reason. We're not looking forward to going back, under no circumstances".

Failure to centralise
The Undersand Administration's plan for the Central Homeland Office - 1 of the 3 ministries for Amudim and only 1 of 2 under Yishelem's jurisdiction - includes 5 departments, all initially planned to set up shop in Yishelem itself, close to the CHO's headquarters and the Prime Minister's immediate sphere.

However, the historic de-centralisation sentiment that's taken root firmly with the independent local  governments of the Nisrads since Beiteynu's dissolution in 5608, thwarted Mr. Undersand's plans.

Thus, it was, that yesterday morning, the Office of the Prime Minister confirmed that Mr. Undersand had signed a revised agreement, which was forwarded to the Knesset a few minutes ago.

Reason resides outside Yishelem
The agreement stipulates that 2 of the CHO's departments - internal affairs and defence - will reside in Sholemberg, the capital of the Hischar Nisrad, satisfying decades and even centuries of prerequisites revolving around the fact that the city has traditionally served as the premier trade and industrial hub - thus, it has been and will be the one most likely to act most sensibly in regional and global challenges, Amudim's participation in the rising Bannerhafen-Wiel-led MATO included.

Health, welfare and education, sports, religions, science and culture - the next 2 departments of the CHO - will reside with Haifbourg, hopefully reversing decades and centuries of preferential treatment towards the land's coastlines and by consequence neglecting the Medebir Nisrad.

Finally, infrastructure, agriculture and industry will reside with the Ma'arav Nisrad and its heavily Jelbic-Yeudi influenced capital city of Rishon Le Hofesh - previously known as Xsampa's Canton 14.

The Tel Bira Journal is an independent financial newspaper reporting almost exclusively on global markets. While based out of Tel Bira, it operates numerous on-site bureaus with most of Terra's major stock exchanges. It works closely with the TBSE and other stock exchanges, the Bankaut, the Financial Herald from Luthori and Tel Bira's Finance Office.

Tel Bira forces Yishelem to "pony up" 7.8% of Beiteynuese debt to 4 major investors by 5710, as prerequisite for approving Mazeltov Deal
[Image: himmelshtern-news-3.png]

JANUARY 5706     |     POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE    |    @Neset

Tel Bira, City State of Tel Bira - For more than 5 decades, Hutori, Luthori, Narikaton and Darnussia and Vanuku - the primary holders of Beiteynuese debt - have suffered diminishing returns, despite their efforts to pressure through down payments, increased interest rates and direct lobbying.

These fluctuations got worse during the recent civil strife which led to the reunification. Tel Bira's hope was that the Central Government of the newly founded Homeland States of Amudim would solve administrative issues sooner rather than later.

Delays upon delays ultimately kept disappointing investors.

A decades-old battle to keep confidence
Tel Bira has been holding the fort since 5642; efforts, which, despite giving birth to lucrative financial policies that brought extensive capital to the city a few years later, were shadowed by the rest of the Holy Land suffering either stagnation or strife - sometimes failing to pay up annual interest rates.

The Bankaut's failure to enter an index-level with the TBSE, foreshadowed after multiple tectonic deals with both the Canrille world and Hutori just before the century's close, is owed to Amudim.

Private investors have continued to fear state defaults, across any level - local, or national. Thus, forcing the INF and the Central Bank to play a cat and mouse game for decades.

No money, no deal
The Undersand Administration's hinting of an extensive Mazeltov Deal to kickstart the economy by leveraging the recent and ongoing defence-based investment frenzy due to MATO, has reportedly raised extensive eyebrows in Tel Bira, which, to remind readers, is the sole authority on Amudim's money.

"Campaigning on empty promises will not force our hand", the Head of the International Neset Fund had commented on a hot July morning a few years ago.

Savings lead to inflation
For years on end, analysts have presumed that the coffers of all Nisrads have been stockpiling money in a "dangerous and almost obscene manner", risking skyrocketing inflation overnight. So the question lies, where did all this money-sitting-around come from?

The Undersand Administration has yet to introduce a federal tax policy, and although the Nisrads have generally kept past Beiteynuese policies in place, they have either lowered taxes or have wasted them in slow, ineffective and stagnant local government organisations and programs.

Unlike most of the world, Amudim does not maintain an army or airforce. Its navy is also 2 fleets rusting away in Sholemberg, with the coast guard frequently dry-docking its patrol and missile boats.

There is no satellite program - no missile program active either, especially after Xsampa's overseeing on the dismantling of ICBM operations back in 5684.

"What's the hold up?", the Director of the City State of Tel Bira exclaimed yesterday morning.

"Pony up, or we'll go right back to the drawing board".

-

Yishelem conceded earlier this morning - Tel Bira's INF is set to expedite proceedings by the end of the year, hopefully introducing much needed clarity on Amudim's theorised coffers.

The Return of the 8 Gems - meet the Archaic Museum's ridiculous plans for a raised, revolving platform that will conclude an annual pilgrimage
[Image: himmelshtern-news-4.png]

MARCH 5706   |   POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE   |   @Neset

Yishelem, Kadosh (Holy) Nisrad - The return of the Holy Gem from Luthori, confirmed last year, brought immense joy to the hearts of many Yeudis in the Holy Land.

The Holy Gem is the latest in a recent line of gems that have finally returned to their birthplace, including those gifted by the grace of Wiel and the curiously emerged one.

-

After typically authenticating the latest gem, the Archaic Museum of Yishelem announced its plans for the construction of a curious, revolving platform. This new wing of the museum will be mechanically raised once a year to the museum's rooftop, showcasing the gems in an encased glass construction.

The gems will remain in their place beneath Yishelem's scorching sky for 8 hours, 1 for each gem.

Yeudi pilgrims from around the world and tourists alike can admire Elior's legacy, a testament to the ancient roots of a Yeudi Heritage that binds those true of the Yeudi People across time and space. It is rumoured that the Foreign & Diaspora Office is considering issuing a special visa program just for this occasion, even to citizens of countries that Yishelem has no relations with.

The museum's director noted that the platform is meant to conclude an annual pilgrimage for Yeudis, as, according to sources, the Arboutit is in ongoing talks to fund and erect several "key monuments", including a mega-structure of former Jelbic-Yeudi Meleh Bunjamin, on top of Mt. Mushafakir.

We presume the statue will depict the King on a horse.

-

Construction on the Luthorian-wing of the museum is expected to commence in September, with a contractor from Luthori having won the Arboutit's bid, as part of the trust fund deal.

The Director of the Benowitz Foundation has repeatedly declined to comment.

Bomb explosion in Tel Bira hotel kills 3 and injures 11; INF deputy director among casualties
[Image: himmelshtern-news.jpg]

JANUARY 5707   |   POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE   |   @Neset

Tel Bira, City State of Tel Bira - Police and firefighting forces rushed to one of the city's most prominent hotel boulevards in the early hours of this morning, after a massive explosion "tore open" the penthouse of the 5-star Canrillaise-Yeudi Ye'Shalom Hotel.

The Chief of Police confirmed 30 minutes ago that the explosion was caused by a detonation, according to a preliminary report issued by the police's bomb squad. The squad was called on the scene soon after fire inspectors indicated evidence of a controlled blast which was unlikely to have originated from a gas leak, device malfunction or any of the usual suspects.

Evacuation efforts are currently underway in a 2-block radius and the boulevard has been shut off to traffic until such time as police forces confirm there are no further dangers.

Considering that the Deputy Director of the International Neset Fund, Mathilda Barbier, is among the 3 confirmed casualties - alongside a maid and the breakfast chef, it is assumed that the Yeudi Bureau of Investigations will be taking over the case from Tel Bira's Michtara (transl. Police) Office.

Mrs. Barbier has been spearheading Tel Bira's efforts in regards to the Kerisian TEF since 5704.

Ribonot expedites 115.7M package for Amshinov's spaceports to account for increased use, as part of the Mazeltov Deal's "prep" phase
[Image: sholembergchronicle-1.png]

JULY 5708   |   POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE   |   @Neset

Amshinov, Hischar (Trade) Nisrad - An infrastructure inherited from the former Beiteynuese state, the spaceports and launchpads of Amshinov have barely withstood the test of time since the steady dissolution of the central government's programs - namely the Allink - after the war with Xsampa.

Since then, only a few commercial launches have taken place, mostly contracted by the Equifund's missile and satellite leaders, Sato and Kadenite, on behalf of companies from the ICT industry.

The recent influx of capital from extensive defence-related investments and spending has led to an increased use of the Halel Compound, including but not limited to the recently confirmed joint Narik-Darnussian-Jelbic space program and Luthori's own confirmation earlier this year of its extended missile and satellite program, which included a comprehensive deal with Amshinov for the spaceports.

The Ribonot's allocation of a 115.7M infrastructure sub-package aimed at critical upgrades and maintenance for the compound, is part of a joint defence-infrastructure sub-program of the Mazeltov Deal, an extensive nationwide program that's been in the works for close to 2 decades.

~

Yishelem confirmed on Wednesday that both permanent and temporary (for construction works) personnel from both the public and the private sectors will be vetted "thoroughly" - with the RSB's Jelbic-Yeudi office running point on all background checks.

The Shaagrir's (Ambassador) Office in Fort William is closely liaising on Luthori's end, in conjunction with the embassy in Wiel, Jelbic intelligence, Amshinov's local government and the Ribonot.

~

Both the CHO and the Ribonot have declined to comment on rumours around an Armagdon Bureau.

Himmelshtern vs Yishelem: the Holy Nisrad loses again
Hadrim to remain independent: "Narik-Darnussian-Yeudi assets and investments are safe", says Tel Bira

July 5708  ~  Economy / Commerce / Trade / International  ~  @Neset

Undeterred, the Undersand Administration in Yishelem has continued to fight towards centralisation efforts, despite suffering quite a major governance blow in 5706

The blow?

The federal government would remain de-centralised. And although the Central Homeland Office would remain in the Holy City, its departments would not, spreading instead across the land in Sholemberg, Haifbourg and Rishon Le Hofesh.

Why does that matter?

2 reasons, actually.

~

First, that was the 2nd blow for Yishelem: the first one came in 5689 with the Haniyaret's multilateral amendment concerning the formation of the Homeland States of Amudim. That one basically told Yishelem that the country's money management is up to Tel Bira.

And Tel Bira is actually responsible for all Triad - now Dual Republican - assets. Which also meant that the soon-to-be reformed Central Finance Office, 1 of Amudim's 3 ministries, fell under Tel Bira.

~

Second, the Undersand Administration has instead been attempting to target the independent authorities of former Beiteynu and pursuing an agenda of undoing the "de-coupling". One of these agencies is the Hadrim, the Narik-Darnussian-Yeudi commerce and trade agency founded in 5573 and located in Himmelshtern - an agency that has been the hallmark of bilateral economic relations.

By attempting to move the independent agency under the jurisdiction of the Central Finance Office in Tel Bira, the Undersand Administration was looking to undercut Himmelshtern's own administration.

After 2 rigorous weeks, Yishelem once again admitted defeat last week, with a post on social media confirming that the Hadrim would remain "as is", citing Tel Bira's own press release on reaffirming its 0% tax policy and the INF's commitment to an everlasting Narik-Darnussian-Yeudi economic future.

Tel Bira to pursue formation of non-alignment treaty after Kalistani "disappointment"; YBI opens investigation into unauthorised Kalistani investments
[Image: sholembergchronicle.jpg]

APRIL 5712   |   POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE   |   @Neset

Tel Bira, City State of Tel Bira - "Kaliburg's foreign policies and divisive comments are extremely disheartening at best", was the opening statement of the Deputy Secretary of the City State of Tel Bira's Foreign Office, on Monday morning.

The press conference was geared at addressing a months-long silence from Tel Bira regarding the Kalistani chancellor's public statements with The Kalistani Republic last year.

"There was some concern with markets, but considering that a statement of 'relationship reevaluation' from one of the highest officials in Kalistan didn't even make a dent in Kaliburg's stock exchange, we have weathered this period of uncertainty from Kaliburg rather nicely", she added.

"We take offence at the insinuations that we are the financiers of Amudim and by extension MATO itself, considering that since 5637 - almost a century ago - we've fought hard battles towards non-alignment, neutrality and responsible and internationally friendly fiscal policies for the Holy Land itself - and to the best of our knowledge we call this perceived MATO hostility towards Kalistan false; and ludicrous akin to the one-eyed rubbish spewed by the Kalistani Foreign Minister 4 years ago".

"It seems to chronically evade Kalistani officials that good faith and sportsmanship are the bedrock of international diplomacy and commerce; traits which Kaliburg is quick to point out as lacking in others, which, to us, creates the highest levels of intensity in self-enforced circular unreasoning".

"As such, we will be reevaluating our relationship with NAM. We simply cannot consider NAM to be a solid framework for neutrality and non-alignment when its author [and the only member] has been stigmatised in recent decades by abrupt and self-spinning changes in foreign policy".

"Especially since Kaliburg doesn't pick up the phone to coordinate, first", she concluded.

~

The Yeudi Bureau of Investigations has confirmed that it has opened a new case set to initiate the auditing of the Kalistani Foreign Investment Bank's and Bank of Suldanor's transactions with the BIFI.

The investigation was triggered by those same statements from the Kalistani Chancellor referring to "[...] Kalistani investment in that nation's financial institutions goes to help a set of nation's who are hostile to Kalistani existence and identity [...]" - investments which the City State of Tel Bira's Finance Office, the Central Bank of Amudim and the International Neset Fund have denied they exist.

"The City State of Tel Bira and Yeudi-backed financial institutions are far more capable in sustaining lines and capital than Kalistan in regards to supporting the Bankaut", the Finance Office stated.

A YBI spokesperson noted that the investigation also took into account the existence of Kalistani investments into Kundrati - a major red flag that was immediately taken into account after the Chancellor's statements, considering the "mess of an intervention in Kundrati" and Kaliburg's openly hostile position against Artania and Majatra, which is now "boasting" about "investments".

"Kalistan is not unfamiliar to embezzlement cases and fraud", the spokesperson concluded; "we must ensure the integrity of Bankaut transactions and assets declared in Tel Bira".

~

The Head of the International Neset Fund commented on social media that "investors should be prepared", as the INF foresees Kaliburg to "swiftly withdraw from the Bankaut in response", a membership that has benefited Kalistan's premier financial institutions since 5643.

However, he calmed investors with a follow-up, noting "no damage will be presumed by the withdrawal".

Hadayim confirms Yeudi shipping in talks with New Englia for supply and distribution contract; Tel Bira backs Luthorian bid
[Image: sholembergchronicle-1.jpg]

APRIL 5712   |   POLITICS    DIPLOMACY   TRADE & COMMERCE   |   @Neset

Sholemberg, Hischar Nisrad - Although seemingly outflanking Luthorian shipping companies, who will, by extension, participate in the agreements should Luthorian Petroleum's 5711 bid is secured, Ashalon Bank BEIFG was quick to confirm that the financial conglomerate would be backing Luthorian investors with additional credit lines, in an attempt to both help LP outbid Egelion's own 5711 bid, as well as to assist Hadayim's negotiations in securing New Englia's participation in the Vamaj Network - the Yeudi-backed global supply and distribution framework, of which Luthori is also a member.

Fort William's and LP's intensions of increasing oil and gas related activity in the Red Bass Ocean - after all, New Englia sits just "right across the pond" from the Migrant's Pass - were met with high and clear positivity from Yeudi shipping and the City of Sholemberg. Hadayim is, after all, mostly Luthorian-Yeudi owned and has worked closely with Luthorian shipping - a fact that seals the trifecta of commercial relations with the Dual Republic of Narikaton and Darnussia.

~

However, Nadiya's still active involvement in the Vamaj continues to muddy the waters - news on the addition of yet another supplier led to a further decline in crude oil prices last week.

Which is, to say, that the Hadayim-led consortium of Yeudi shipping companies currently engaged in talks with the government of New Englia has a rocky boat to deal with from the get-go, considering the latter's recent intensions of doubling-down on its oil fields as a primary economic driver.

Simply put, while the Vamaj Network may bring an unprecedented access to several markets for New Englia, it will also lead to lower prices - unless, of course, the issue with Nadiya is swiftly dealt with. But that remains a crux for the Egelian bid, as well, considering Nadiya's extensive involvement as a primary oil and gas supplier for the continent of Keris, as a whole.

~

All in all, Hadayim's and Ashalon Bank BEIFG's respective bidding for distribution and backing of the Luthorian supply bid, are essentially the same group bidding "against" Egelion.

Both conglomerates dismissed Kalistan's same-year bid as nonsensical, also raising eyebrows at the statements of the Empress earlier this year.

"We're not entirely sure why KALNAPECO - or any oil company for that matter - would pony up this kind of immense investment to NOT produce oil", Hadayim's spokesperson in Fort William stated earlier this afternoon; "much less when it comes to the Kalistani people emptying their pockets to invest in a nation halfway across the world so as to not get anything in return".

~

Hadayim's CEO, Patrick Benowitz, flew in from Fort William this weekend to meet Petroenglia CEO's Howard Lee-McFarrey to discuss the particulars. Reportedly, the several meetings that took place also included Confederate Minister for Finance and Strategy, Siobhán Ní Dhomhnaill, Confederate Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Donagh Maguire and Inglian Administrative Secretary on Trade and International Affairs, Felicia Gilroy - signalling the high-level depth of ongoing talks.

Tel Bira's Finance Office also issued a memo to New Englia remarking on the city's and Amudim's membership in the Xsampan-led Sovereign Sea Accords since 5693, as a validation that Yeudi shipping has been "playing ball on an equal footing" with the Dovanian region for decades.
