The President of Kundrati, Christian Akerlund Mnesilochus Santoro Kafuricus (CAMSK), has announced that he will visit Istalia within the next few weeks to discuss trade between the two states. He has said that, in his visit, he will be meeting alongside his acting Foreign Minister Jindřich Matoušek with the leaders of Istalia now that their leader Casella passed away from an assassin's bullet.

CAMSK and Matousek have said that they wished to expand the burgeoning film and television industry relationship between the two states by potentially investing in Istalia's television studios and removing barriers to broadcasting Kundrati television in Istalia and vice versa. In addition, they hoped to promote Kundrati culture in Istalia and train local chefs on how to make staple Kundrati dishes. In exchange, they wished to establish an Istalia-Kundrati Cultural Council (IKCC) - the IKCC being in charge of promoting culture in the two nations and allowing these states to provide cultural and educational exchanges in the two states.

CAMSK also mentioned wanting to chat with Mr. Erminio Boni and Mr. Amanzio Berni. The two leaders, said CAMSK, were worthy of his time right now because they have shown constant competent leadership in "...steering the ship of state past the death of one of their most important leaders..." and providing Kundrati with a market to expand towards irrespective of political ideology.

ArtSat has begun considering expanding into Istalia by providing its citizens access to the wider Internet via its satellite Internet service. A few ArtSat engineers and representatives will follow the President to chat with their counterparts to set up a deal. Companies like Etxean Bank and other Kundrati tech companies are expected to do the same.
CAMSK and Matousek did not mention whether defense-related matters would be involved in the talks, citing that they did not wish to cause alarm in Majatra. On that note, Matousek provided the following statement on potential objections from Pontesi and others:

Kundrati and Xsampan leaders met today to discuss the ongoing situation in the Sovereign Sea and the area around Vascania, which have only recently become an area of significant geopolitical influence. Ships have been threatened after an oil tanker was destroyed in said sea, which has resulted in military units from the Jelbic Empire moving in alongside units from Xsampa. The ongoing cold war between the two states has only worsened since then.

Kundrati and Xsampan leaders agreed that the situation would only worsen from there. In an agreement, therefore, due to Jelbic resources threatening Xsampan sovereignty, Kundrati would begin to work with Xsampa to protect Xsampan assets. This starts with the Xsampan Air Force buying 30 Lasaitasuna multirole jets for 300 million Kuno through a discount. In addition, tens of Kundrati military advisors have been sent to train Xsampan troops on defensive matters and cyberwarfare. Through this assistance, Kundrati will also replenish Xsampan's military assets, especially artillery pieces.

When asked whether this would make Kundrati pick a side in the upcoming cold war, the Kundrati leadership reassured that they remained neutral despite the ongoing situation and that words from foreigners would not change that. They said that Xsampa is the leading nation that is being threatened by the ongoing situation in the Sovereign Sea and that, as a result, it would make sense to assist Xsampa. They said they have put out feelers for initiating diplomatic talks before the meeting with Xsampa with the Jelbics (via Beiteynu) not accepting.

In an announcement today, the head of the Hulanevek family Bratislav Hulanevek IV announced the following:

Quote:We are very happy to exhibit the Yeudi Gem that has been in our collection for centuries at the National Museum of Kundrati History in Kasaema.
This gem, which has been in our collection for a very long time, will allow us to show to the world how this gem has protected our family and our nation for centuries. It was there when the Luthorians wanted to conquer us right after the War of Lost Souls and it has helped us attain major relationships in Kalistan and in Hanzen. As such, this is the most important gem in the history of the Kundrati Union.
We will show the gem from 18 April to 1 August. Glory to Kundrati.

Thus, it was announced. The National Museum of Kundrati History in Kasaema is one of the largest museums in Kundrati, showcasing anything from the most important documents of the first Kundrati Union and the documents of the Kundrati monarchy to exhibits of prehistoric Kundrati and even exhibits of today's Kundrati and political parties like the Civil Libertarian Party and Kundrati Democracy, among many others.

The NMKHK has said that they will exhibit the Hulanevek Yeudi Gem in the most luxurious portion of the museum, with its own exhibit, 24-hour guards, and an enclosure with security features and cameras facing the gem at all times. People who want to see the gem can do so for 30 minutes and are prohibited from taking flash photography. Museum curators also said that they were very happy to exhibit the gem and that it will be shown in Etxea from 1 August until 30 September.

There were a lot of rumors over the gem, with people even believing that during the War of Lost Souls the head of the Hulanevek family ate the gem and it was stuck in his stomach until his death. Rumors like these have been long seen throughout Kundrati and tickets for the exhibit have already begun to sold out for most dates. Press will be covering the first night as a makeshift gala will be performed to showcase the gem and the like.

The National Museum of Kundrati History in Kasaema has responded to the formal request by the Archaic Museum of Yishelem to certify that the upcoming Hulanevek gem is, in fact, a true Yeudish gem.

The NMKHK cited pressure from the Foreign Office. When we asked the Foreign Office they gave us a short reply:

Quote:It would be very inappropriate now to give a piece of private Kundrati-held property, no matter which last owned it when the owner is currently a Kundrati person without that person's permission. The statement by the Medinat Department of the Beiteynuese is also inappropriate, and we request a formal apology. Given our current trade with Pontesi, Xsampa and Istalia, not to mention our prior trade and major ties this is not an unreasonable request from a neutral state.

The Kundrati public has been slightly anti-Yeudi due to Medinat's statement; however, the general sentiment has been to wait and see what happens.

As for the current trade with Xsampa, that has not been affected. However, some vessels and cargo planes have, on account of potential repercussions, volunteered not to go to the Migrants' Pass and have made courses for Selucia, Zardugal, and other states, which from there can make their way to their customers up north, not to mention insurance costs have slowly gone up as a result of this crisis. The Foreign Office has not commented on their opinion of these moves.

And so it was.

On this historic day, two states began to work on revamping their navies. Kundrati's navies rely on a mishmash of new and old ships, while Zardugal has reportedly promised to get 100 boats as soon as possible. With this cooperation, at least some of these goals can be reached. This is also another sign of further promising relationships between Zardugal and Kundrati, notably including Kundrati becoming the Artanian headquarters of the esteemed Farmakon-Z and Kundrati providing Zardugal with a lot of assistance in giving nuclear power plants to the country (ever more important now that the Jelbic Empire has cut power to Zardugal).

Kundrati Defense Contractors and the Zardugal government have agreed to construct a large number of ships. The report calls for 9 destroyers, 25 frigates, and 40 corvettes to be built by both Kundrati and Zardugal within 35 years. Let's discuss these ship classes separately.

The 9 destroyers are the KuNS Albatrossi/Albatroso class ships. With a top speed of 32.7 knots and a range of 3,920 nautical miles at 18 knots (or 1,345 nmi at 33 knots) with advanced radar and missile technology, this destroyer can carry 2 x 6 anti-submarine rocket launchers and 2 x 2 533 mm torpedo tubes. The destroyer can even carry a helicopter and can host a crew of 350. Zardugal will get 5 of these destroyers, while Kundrati will get 4.

As for the 25 frigates, there will be the KuNS Fajroturo and the KuNS Mendico II. The KuNS Fajroturo, named after the capital of Zardugal and a guided missile frigate, has a top speed of 29.5 knots and a range of 4,000 nm at 14 knots with advanced air search, surface search, and sonar radar systems alongside advanced communications and combat systems. The Fajroturo class also has a suite of electronic warfare features. The Fajroturo class has an array of anti-submarine, anti-ship cruise, surface-to-air missiles, space for a helicopter, and a hangar for one helicopter. The Fajroturo class can host a crew of 210.

The KuNS Mendico II, designed by Zardugal and still under development, is expected to launch soon. However, the frigate is meant to be an anti-submarine frigate with various missiles and torpedoes, advanced radar, and even an underwater combat suite. This type of frigate will have space for a helicopter and host a crew of 150. The ship's speed is expected to reach more than 25 knots.

Kundrati will get 10 frigates of the Fajroturo-class ship design, while Zardugal will get 15 frigates. It is unknown whether Zardugal will get the Mendico II and the Fajroturo classes.
Of course, now comes the 40 corvettes. These will be the KuNS Platanoa/Banano and the KuNS Veneto II. The KuNS Platanoa/Banano has a top speed of 27 knots and a range of 4,000 nmi at 14 knots. It will have an air search radar and sonar, an electronic warfare suite, and countermeasures. It will also have quad torpedo tubes and anti-ship cruise missiles. With hangar space for a helicopter and a crew of 100, this ship is meant to endure for at most 15 days without supplies.

The KuNS Veneto II has a top speed of 24 knots and a range of 3,500 nmi at 18 knots. It is equipped with anti-ship missiles and torpedo tubes, a flight deck, a helicopter hangar, a multifunction radar, and electronic warfare equipment. The ship can host a crew of 60, with additional space for 32 others in the event of an emergency.

Kundrati will get 20 corvettes, and the rest will go to Zardugal. Both will likely seek to split their orders in half to get both corvettes.

When ArtSat promised years ago that they would spam the skies with satellites, people thought it was a quirky way of saying they would expand themselves around the world. Today, however, it seems that quirkiness has become a reality.

Today, at the Northern Cosmodrome in Kundrati, the Terralift launch vehicle, which contained three satellites, shot up towards space. The rocket released the satellites once they were aligned with the necessary areas, and after a small while, their satellite Internet features were launched to customers around Terra. ArtSat says that while three satellites may seem small, the Terralift launch vehicle can be set up in less than a week to equip multiple satellites with a small crew of less than ten people to oversee the launch and service releases, promising that they would launch at least three launch vehicles each month for seven months (April-October) with three satellites in each launch (or 21 launches a year with around 63 satellites).

ArtSat promises that, in ten years, at least 630 satellites will blanket Terra as they work to make another rocket that can carry more satellites. They hope that they could expand their work to launch at least 10-20 satellites per launch (or around 420 satellites a year) in ten years. ArtSat also hopes they can rent the usage of another launch site for a more extended period to launch satellites and expand their network faster.

But for now, customers who use ArtSat will be delighted to know that service will improve soon with faster internet as ArtSat seeks to expand in Majatra, Seleya, and Dovani.

The Office of the President of Kundrati announced today that President Christian Åkerlund Mnesilochus Santoro Kafuricus (CAMSK) would meet with the leadership of Lourenne, even possibly their Emperor, as soon as they could do so. 

Kundrati and Lourenne have historically been friendly. Kundrati was caught up in the War of Lost Souls and provided Lourenne with much-needed assistance to turn that war against Beiteynu after Beiteynuese ships fired on Kundrati. This is not to mention the economic cooperation that happened beforehand with Lourennaise electric car factories and Lourennaise money pumped into Kundrati to a point where the Kundrati electric car industry is thriving with Lourennaise electric car brands.

However, this meeting is likely to try to establish a formal friendship with Lourenne. Word on the diplomatic street is that Beiteynu may soon break ties with Kundrati for good - likely due to Kundrati providing humanitarian assistance to Xsampa. This state has decided to stand up for their rights in the Vascanian Sea region. Rumors abound that Beiteynu will announce it any second now and that the Kundrati economy could collapse due to the amount of Beiteynuese money flowing around the Union. With these rumors and fears in context, it is no wonder that Kundrati is turning to Lourenne to help them.

Kundrati could be enrolled in the SOTERIA defense and intelligence program alongside states like Dundorf. While Kundrati would not be provided with SOTERIA-certified missiles or included in the defense portion of the package, it is likely that Kundrati would be enrolled in the intelligence program that would help alleviate any removal from the Allink that Kundrati is currently involved in. Other potential outcomes could include satellite help and more military cooperation alongside additional economic assistance, such as Lourennaise banks entering the Kundrati market more and more.

The President left a final word to end the announcement before he left for Lourenne:

Quote:It is only natural that neutral powers meet with one another. Neutrality is ever rarer in the world, especially with barbarian warmongers in Majatra trying to throw feces at us. Only states like Lourenne, Lodamun, Kalistan, or whatever have you can be considered neutral powers. Let's hope that more nations accept the embrace of neutrality.
