And as Head of Government and leader of the Majority, first of all, I want to publicly condemn the involved members of the Government, of the Majority and, especially, of my own Party: their behavior betrays the trust of every Istalian citizen who believes in the integrity, commitment and responsibility of their representatives.
But condemnation is not enough. All parties in the majority have already acted decisively: those who violated ethical principles have been expelled without hesitation, without compromise. Their fate now will be determined by the Justice in which the Government places full confidence and ensures transparency and full cooperation. The coalition remains united, compact and today more than ever is called upon to defend the credibility of the institutions and the trust of citizens. Political responsibility requires clarity, speed and firmness, and the majority has already demonstrated its commitment to this end.
At the same time, it is essential to look at the facts realistically. What happened does not concern just one political faction. Furthermore, investigations show that many of the perpetrators belong to the ranks of high society, comprising large private fortunes, and have chosen behaviors that betray public trust. We cannot accept and allow just one side of the political spectrum to be unjustly accused of what is the fruit of the privileges, excesses and transgressions of those who live in luxury, far from the values of the Istalian worker. It is in these men and women that the heart of the scandal lies. Indeed, it is in honest, hardworking citizens that the true soul of our nation resides.
As Head of Government, I cannot hide the fact that I feel a certain responsibility for what happened. Perhaps we could have monitored more closely and intervened earlier, but we were betrayed by the confidence we accorded to those responsible, from whom we feel to have been betrayed. But this recognition is not an admission of defeat, nor a surrender in the face of events. On the contrary: precisely because I am aware of my responsibility, I feel even more motivated to intervene decisively, to guide the government in developing concrete measures, to strengthen controls and to restore to our society the morality, transparency and respect it deserves. It is in this challenge, and in this commitment, that we find our strength.
The Government and I personally are committed with every resource and energy. We will strengthen transparency, increase ethical responsibility, adopt stricter controls within institutions, promote concrete measures to combat moral decay and prevent similar episodes from recurring. We will not limit ourselves to temporary band-aids or superficial solutions but we will build a culture of responsibility, legality and respect. Only in this way can we reaffirm the fundamental principles that guide public and private life in Istalia. It is a new challege for the Government and the Majority, but a challenge that we are committed to face and solve with the utmost seriousness.
Finally, I want to renew my full confidence in the Judiciary. Independent, impartial and rigorous, it represents the bulwark of our democracy and the rule of law. It is in it that we must place our trust, knowing that the law will act without distinction, without favoritism, regardless of rank, power or wealth.
Citizens, the path ahead of us is difficult, but together we can raise our heads, reaffirm public morality and defend what makes Istalia great: the dedication, honesty and daily work of every single citizen.
Despite the Minister Secretary's detailed and media-savvy speech, the opposition immediately reacted harshly. The new leader of the Hosian Democratic Union, Francesca Pizzi, elected just two weeks ago when also the former leader has been involved by the investigations, causing so much scandal that the party turned definitively in a blink to the most traditionally wing, denounced the government's incompetent management, accusing the left of having fostered a moral and cultural degeneration of the political class over the past decades and unequivocally calling for the Secretary of State's resignation and, with electoral tones, calling for a radical change of course, stating that Istalia should embrace once again the values and principles of the Istalian tradition.
Quote:The Satta scandal is not an isolated incident, nor a simple stumble in the long history of our nation. It is the most obvious symptom of a profound illness, a moral degeneration that has corroded the foundations of our society. For years, the left, aided by weak and relativistic thinking, has sown the poison of confusion, denying the existence of Good and Evil, undermining what for centuries has given order, meaning and beauty to our collective life.
And today, faced with the scandal, Minister Moccia dares to present himself as the champion of public morality! He shamefully attempts to wash his hands of the matter, when it was his own government that promoted the culture of permissiveness, debauchery, and moral compromise that has brought us to this point.
Our traditional values are not chains, they are not impositions: they are the compass that has guided the Istalian soul for millennia, that has educated our families, inspired our fathers, given dignity to our institutions.
We will not accept this decadence as normalized. We will not accept that lies become virtues, that shame becomes rights. Istalia must awaken from the illusion it has been sold for almost twenty years: that of limitless freedom, of progress without conscience. It is time to rediscover the soul of the nation, to return to the path of righteousness, decency and moral wholesomeness. Only by rediscovering our true values can we restore dignity to the Istalian people and hope to future generations.
Within the majority too, however, internal rumors circulated suggesting that the Greens' Movement was not entirely surprised by the possibility of Moccia's resignation or other drastic measures. In particular, the leader Marina Cantalamessa was reportedly somewhat perplexed by the situation, while continuing to publicly display solidarity with the government and its allies. These are private perceptions, never made official, circulating only in the corridors and internal circles of the party, confirming the political caution required at this delicate stage and the will to compact the majority to face the July elections.
Minister Secretary Moccia's speech, while elegant and well-rehearsed for the media, appears to be an attempt to stem the political turmoil, reassure citizens and defend the majority's image now that the elections are so close. For Pizzi, this is not enough: the moral crisis, reiterate the party, is the result of years of political and cultural management by the left and requires a gesture of personal responsibility from the Head of Government, namely resignation.

ROMULA - After weeks of growing political incertitude, in a not entirely unexpected statement, this moorning Minister Secretary of State Fabrizio Moccia announced that he will not seek reappointment in any office within the Democratic Socialist Party (PSD), thus renouncing any possibility of leading the government again.
Convening the press to Antinori Palace, the Minister Secretary addressed the country directly, with an institutional speech but that also revealed his personal emotion:

Today I address you with a heart full of gratitude and respect. The decision to resign from any position within the Democratic Socialist Party and not to seek re-election as Minister Secretary of State was not an easy one, but I firmly believe that the time has come for a generational change, to make room for new energy, new ideas, and leadership capable of vigorously interpreting the needs of our country.
In these years, serving Istalia and its citizens has been the greatest honor for me. According to Moccia himself, the decision is motivated by the awareness that the time has come for a generational change, entrusting the reins of the party and, consequently, the government to a younger leadership capable of better interpreting the needs of citizens and the country.
But the political context has certainly accelerated the decision: with the PSD declining sharply in the polls and under pressure from its Green allies, who were largely spared the Satta scandal and have seen their moral and electoral standing strengthened, Moccia's decision now appears inevitable.
Political commentary was forthcoming: from across the political spectrum, it was a mix of respect and widespread praise, regardless of ideological differences, certainly a unanimous acknowledgement of Moccia's dedication to the country.

ROMULA - The 5683 elections marked a veritable political earthquake for the Imperial State of Istalia, still reeling from the effects of the Satta Scandal. The progressive coalition of the Alliance of Change, which had dominated the political scene for the last twenty years, saw its influence diminished: the new majority holds 253 out of 475 seats, with the Greens' Movement (MdV) as largest party in the coalition, while the Democratic Socialist Party (PSD) and Party of New Communists (PNC) suffered significant losses.

The Greens, lead by an increasingly charismatic Marina Cantalamessa, eventualy dominated the electoral campaign, successfully restoring the coalition's reputation, emphasizing the successes of the long progressive era: social stability, green innovation and sustainable growth. However, it should be noted that the Greens narroly failed to convince the majority of the civilian electorate, which, thanks also to electoral mechanisms, saw more civilian seats won by the UOD, while it was the support of the Armed Forces that guaranteed more seats to MdV, who were decidedly more convinced by the Greens' economic proposals, with the right focusing its campaign mainly on the scandal.
On the other hand, the right wing saw numerical growth, but with increasingly conservative and traditionalist leanings, riding the wave of scandal as said, criticizing the previous ideological government's management, but also it's economic management, painted as incapable of generating truly autonomous and dynamic growth. Voters who pay attention to economic policies, and among them the military, as mentioned, however, did not fully embrace this stance, and if the results show some signs of fatigue towards the progressive econimic leadership, the right's economic proposal didn't convinced like their conservative social view.
Thus, in this context, Marina Cantalamessa emerged as the new soul of the left. During the election campaign, she successfully proposed concrete programs and a structured vision, anticipating tools and objectives that would resonate with voters and reinvigorate the coalition.
When the results were sure, into the Alliance of Change headquarters, decorated with the coalition's orange and the MdV's green colors, Cantalamessa commented the victory before the supporters gathered there:
Quote:The Greens' victory is not just an electoral success, it is a clear signal that the country wants a left that combines concreteness, vision and respect for progressive principles, without being overwhelmed by the scandals of the past.
This victory is not mine but it belongs to every citizen who still believes that politics can be a force for good, capable of guiding, protecting and inspiring. It is a call to responsibility, not triumphalism. It is the voice of a nation asking us to look forward, to rebuild trust, to restore hope to our people.

We will stand alongside the younger generations, protecting them from the moral decline that reached to poison our public life. We will promote a society that educates, supports and protects, not through censorship, but through values, awareness and shared responsibility.
On the international stage, we will reaffirm Istalia's role as a bridge of cooperation and dialogue, a country capable of leading by example, through diplomacy, solidarity and a genuine commitment to justice and global sustainability. To those who have accused the progressive front of promoting a submissive diplomacy, we respond that we have instead demonstrated ourselves to be a respectable and proactive nation, rejecting the logic of power, prevarication and oppression, as well as the idea that in the face of diplomatic difficulties and crises there is no other solution than confrontation and conflict. The progressive front has succeeded in overcoming historic mistrust with numerous countries with which, until recently, dialogue would have been unthinkable and impossible. I firmly believe these are strengths, not weaknesses. In any case, however, I want to reassure the country: the Government, if necessary, will not shy away from defending its principles and the nation's honor.
Our government will continue to be guided by the founding values of the Alliance for Change: solidarity, equity and community. These are not just words, they are the pillars on which we will build a new chapter in our nation's history.
Today, we are not simply inaugurating a new government. We are ushering in a new era of hope, in which progress and responsibility go hand in hand and in which every Istalian can once again feel proud to say: this is our hom, and our future is in good hands!
With this result, Cantalamessa is now ready to lead a new left Green-led Government, supported by the PSD and PNC, with clear goals aimed to consolidate political and social stability and propose ambitious measures for growth, but also new measure to protect future generations and the "soul" of the country, as well as another goal by Cantalamessa that had a strong impact on the electorate, especially among the military, namely the strengthening of Istalia's diplomatic and economic international standing.

ROMULA - In the solemn setting of Quattroregni Palace, the new Minister Imperial Secretary of State Marina Cantalamessa officially took the oath of office before His Majesty Emperor Tommaso V alongside her Government team, assuming leadership of the government following the vote of confidence expressed by Congress. Yesterday's ceremony officially marks the beginning of a new political phase for the country, that of the first Green-led government in Imperial State's history (and historians can hardly recall whetger there has ever been a government led by a green party in Istalian history) supported by the Alliance of Change, the more than twenty-years old coalition that led the country for the last 4 legislature that included Social Democrats, Green and the New Communists, but now with the previous indisputed PSD leadership replaced by the one of the Greens' Movement.
The new government presents itself as a model of renewal and openness: more attentive to markets and global dynamics, but firmly anchored in the principles of social justice, equity and solidarity. A balance that, according to Cantalamessa herself, "will demonstrate that the economy and environmental awareness can not only coexist, but thrive together".
The inauguration of the new leadership was greeted enthusiastically by financial markets: the Romula's RISE composite index recorded a significant increase in the first hours following the announcement, while the Imperial Lira strengthened on international markets. According to analysts, the more liberal and technocratic component of the Greens, which gained ground within the coalition after the last elections, sent a signal to the markets of prudent, modern and stability-oriented management, but also ethical and moral, considering that the Greens were the party less affected by the Satta Scandal, their members today view as the embodiment of seriusness and legality on the political stage.
Cantalamessa, considered a figure balancing environmental rigor with reformist economic sensibilities, assured that "the new government season will consolidate the achievements of previous progressive executives, promoting virtuosity and solidarity always, more, caring for free enterprise and the dynamism of the Istalian markets".

According to government sources, the plan includes strengthening independence of monetary policy, further tools for the already well estalished responsible debt management of the country, and an advanced green finance system capable of attracting international capital and supporting industrial modernization and conversion.
On the foreign front, the Government will focus on increasing the presence of Istalia on international stage through new international and supernational agreements, and also on increasing the presence of the Istalian Lira in global trade and financial flows through targeted promotional instruments linked to green and social economy.
In her speech, the new Prime Minister emphasized the moral and civic value of the new strategy:

The Imperial Lira will not only can be a currency of exchange, but a symbol of the trust and responsibility that Istalia intends to offer the world.
Words that embody the spirit of the new course: a "green" economic internationalism, aimed at strengthening Istalian reputation and economic scope while respecting the principles of solidarity and global justice.
Cantalamessa finally acknowledged the achievements of previous progressive governments, reserving praise and words of affection for the former Minister Secretary of State Fabrizio Moccia, described by Cantalamessa without hesitation as the most influential head of government in the history of the Imperial State and one of the greatest statesmen in the history of Istalia, who over almost two decades have consolidated Istalia's reputation as a reliable and socially responsible economy, increased the prosperity and well being of Istalians and its reputation internationally, promoted the evolution of a fair and cohesive society, increasing opportunities as well as protection for our citizens.
Quote:The policies of this responsible left, that clearly showed its sensibility towards the reality of the world and that was able to balance its principles and values with a modern and pragmatic approach, have built solid foundations. Under the leadership of Fabrizio Moccia, Istalia already showed that green economy, partecipative models of entrepreneurship and a market which care to solidarity and fairness can be profitable and ensure sustainable grow as well as solidity and stability to our economy.
Now, we can further consolidate these achievements, hoping to promote and expand such models also outside our borders, conscious of the fact that the Istalians and all the other peoples of the world live on the same, unique planet and that every nation of the world should strive to offer a preserved future for the generations that will follow us.
With these words, the new Minister Secretary of State officially gave further hints of what many observers already expect to be the most ambitious plan in the recent economic history of the Imperial State, which recalls and seems to want to claim the legecy of the great season of reforms initiated at the start of the Moccia governments, a phase that promises to be more liberal and market-focused compared to the PSD-led governments, but always deeply rooted in the social and moral values that define the tradition of the Istalian left and of the Alliance of Change.

ROMULA - The decision was made official with a statement issued by Quattroregni Palace yesterday afternoon: His Imperial Highness the Imperial Grand Prince Nicola, younger brother of the Emperor, was stripped of all noble and dynastic titles, removed from the line of succession and banned from any position, honorary or operational, linked to the Imperial House or the State.
The statement also confirmed that the now ex-Prince has been excluded from the High Council of the Imperial Crown and is permanently banned from taking on roles of an institutional, political or diplomatic nature, even as an informal representative of the Crown or the State.
Insistent rumors indicate that the Emperor himself "strongly invited" his brother not to accept positions in private bodies or foundations, nor positions of visibility in companies or organizations connected to the national economic network.

The measure comes at the end of months of speculation linked to the Satta Scandal, that had overwhelmed Prince Nicola due to the contacts and relationships he had with Barbara Satta, the "Lady of the night" at the center of the affair. The investigations, however, did not lead to any formal charges against the Prince: the investigators ascertained that Satta acted as a mere intermediary between the Prince and some women, mostly professionals in the sector, who ruled out any coercion.
However, the financial judiciary is now apparently evaluating possible tax violations relating to untraceable payments, a non-criminal crime but still severely sanctioned by Istalian regulations, which have rigidly regulated the legal sex market for years, guaranteeing protection and transparency to operators.
In the official statement, the Imperial House justified the decision as "necessary to preserve the dignity of the sacredness of the Imperial Institution and the honor of the Istalian people".
The Emperor personally signed the decree of dismissal, attaching a declaration wrote of his own hand which reflects the moral and symbolic weight of the choice.

ROMULA - Some say his guitar playing still echoes the humid nights of the "Di Porto" neighborhood of Gelamia, amid the noise of the alleys and the scent of the sea. Salvo De Luca, 37, hailing from those very streets where the blues mingled with the Feranese language and the city's popular pulse, is now the name on everyone's lips.
With a warm, captivating and melancholic voice, De Luca has brought "Feranese Blues" to the forefront, a musical movement that until recently existed only in the small bars of Gelamia and in independent musicians' circles. Today, however, his songs resonate everywhere: from national radio stations to digital platforms, even on the stage of the Festival della Musica Istaliana, where he triumphed with "Sai che mi piaci", an intense and passionate pop/blues ballad that intertwines love and solitude with the warmth of its land, transforming into a hymn to authenticity and the roots of Ferano.
These sounds are certainly distant from current mainstream music, but they strike a deep chord: "Sai che mi piaci" won over audiences with its smooth rhythm and lyrics, giving rise to a new and authentic musical language. This isn't the first time De Luca has touched people with the words of his homeland: songs like "I' nun vogl'ji" "Yes I Know My Way (ma tu nun puo' venì)" and "Non mi deve condannare!" are already considered classics of his repertoire.
Thanks to this success, SERIN (Società Emissioni Radiotelevisive Istaliane Nazionali), the Istalian Music Festival's organizer, has selected Salvo De Luca as the official representative of Istalia at the 41st edition of FOMAT, the most important international music competition, which will be held in Nowogard, the capital of Valruzia. Salvo will perform precisaly "Sai che mi piaci".
A historic achievement for an artist who began his career on the streets of Di Porto neighborhood. "I will bring with me my language, my people, and my music", De Luca declared emotionally during the press conference, then adding in Feranese: “Nun m’ scurdarrò maje ’e ’ndo vegno" (I will never forget where I come from).
Critics and fans agree: Salvo De Luca's Feranese blues has something unique, a balance of pain and hope, anger and poetry. Perhaps it is precisely this authenticity that explains how, from a small club in Gelamia, a boy with a guitar managed to conquer the whole of Istalia and now prepares to make his people's voice known to the world.

ROMULA - In a room packed with national and international journalists, the new Imperial Secretary of State, Marina Cantalamessa, gave an official press conference detailing the economic plan that will guide the government's actions in the coming years. After weeks of anticipation and favorable market comments, Cantalamessa confirmed the government's plans for Istalia's economic policy, combining financial stability, green innovation and social justice.

- Strengthen of the public debt management framework, with the establishment of an Independent new "Fiscal Stability Committee" which will work closely with the already existing National Agency for Management and Amortization of Debt.
- Strengthen coordination between the Ministry of Finance and Treasury and the Imperial Central Bank of Istalia to consolidate the credibility and predictability of monetary policy.
- Launch of "Green Sovereign Bonds" and creation of the National Register of Green Projects, which will collect all initiatives financed with public and private funds aimed at the ecological transition.

- Launch of the "Equity and Innovation Program", aimed at supporting technological startups in the environmental and social sectors and promoting skilled youth employment.
Phase III - International Outreach (Years 7-10)
- Promotion of green economic and monetary cooperation within SOMECO, aimed at fostering balanced, sustainable and trust-based trade.
- Development of green currency swap mechanisms with selected partners to stabilize trade related to environmental and technological projects.
- Progressive internationalization of the Lira, fostered by the expansion of Istalian financial instruments and the reliability of national economic institutions.
- Further external expansion of the FSII through with a renowed focus on participation in multilateral funds dedicated to environmental and infrastructure projects in partner countries.
- Promotion and establishment of the "Istalian Forum for Global Sustainable Finance", a permanent platform to attract investors, promote transparency standards and consolidate Istalia's role as a leading player in the new green economy.

BANNERHAFEN - In a solemn atmosphere, the official signing ceremony of the economic and trade agreement between the Imperial State of Istalia and the 3rd Point Federation took place in the capital of the Narikaton & Darnussia, Bannerhafen.
In the presence of His Imperial Majesty Tommaso V, Minister Secretary of State Marina Cantalamessa and Minister of Foreign Affairs Luciano Pardi, the Istalian delegation met with President Annemarieke Schuhbecks and the Foreign Minister of Narikaton & Darnussia and 3PF Peter Halbzahm, officially concluding negotiations that, after years of contacts, dialogue and intense technical discussions, have paved the way for what many international commentators are already calling "a new era of cooperation and stability in Majatran-Artanian relations".
The "Cooperation, Free Trade and Investment Agreement" between Istalia and the 3rd Point Federation, of which Narikaton & Darnussia represent the most preminent member, represents a decisive step towards economic cooperation and mutual trust between them.
The treaty provides for the elimination of tariffs on retail goods sold to consumers in the other country and the introduction of a 3.5% cap on wholesale commercial goods. This threshold will gradually decrease to zero upon reaching certain trade volumes, thus further incentivizing bilateral trade flows.

Regarding private investment, the treaty establishes guarantees of fair and transparent treatment, protection against arbitrary expropriation, free transferability of capital, and investment security. It also provides for information exchanges and joint market studies to maximize the opportunities offered by the new cooperation framework.
Particularly relevant for the Istalian side was the inclusion of a tax chapter, the result of intense mediation by the delegation led by the Treasury and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It introduces measures against double taxation and, above all, joint instruments to combat international tax evasion and avoidance, a topic on which Romula has always insisted with particular determination in all its negotiations with other countries.
The Istalian delegation, meeting the press, didn't hide that fact that it views this agreement not only as an important bilateral achievement, but also as a potential bridge to broader regional cooperation. Romula hopes that this first treaty with the 3rd Point Federation will represent the starting point for an increase in relations also with the SOMECO, with the ambitious goal of creating a vast, solid and dynamic economic area in the south of the world. An area where trade, investment and productive cooperation can become instruments of peace, prosperity and stability, strengthening ties between nations and laying the foundations for a new era of shared balance and development.
During the joint speech delivered following the signing, His Majesty Tommaso V emphasized the need to look to the future with a constructive spirit:

Narratively, Gli Echi del Dominio skillfully intertwines political intrigue, interstellar diplomacy, epic space battles and personal drama, all supported by a world constructed with extraordinary attention to detail. Every species, culture and belief system in Manfredi's universe is described with depth and coherence, making every aspect of the immense landscape that forms the background of the main events believable, able to carry the reader on a vast and visionary journey across the stars.
Manfredi does not conclude Gli Echi del Dominio with a conclusive epilogue: the novel ends in the midst of the storm, with many more questions than answers and with the greatest challenges for our heroes yet to come .
