RE: Badara - Drax - 14-07-2025 IS GIS WORKING WITH DUFAZI MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (IF it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Defense Command Center, March 22, 5657: After a meeting at Defense Command Center of General Intelligence Service (GIS) Director Ivrahim Duqaq and his counterparts in the Internal Security Unit and Defense Command’s Military Intelligence Office concerning threats from religious extremists , The Monsoon asked GIS Director Duqaq if GIS is working with the Dufazi, and he replied: Quote:In a broad general sense, no. The Dufazi are more somebody we monitor than a partner. There is an arrangement under which Moqtada al-Dufaz and his Dufazi are allowed to continue to operate, and we are among those watching to make sure the agreement is followed. ![]() GIS Director Duqaq RE: Badara - Drax - 24-07-2025 MORE FACTIONS GROW IN MAJLIS; WIG LIKELY TO LOSE POWER MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Majlis, November 17, 5659: The most recent elections saw most delegates returning to the Majlis, but more and more of them are identifying with one of the factions, and most notably the new factions rather than with the Working Institutional Group (WIG) or the Free Radical Supper Club (FRSC). The Monsoon asked Religious Affairs Minister Khalifi al-Qassem whether Chancellor Hakim al-Sabah would be able to continue as Chancellor, and he replied. Quote:Probably not. The majority do want a functioning government but not at the expense of the same old representatives of the oligarchy running everything. Asked by the Monsoon why he and his sister would be trusted by MM or the rank and file of the FRSC since they are very much part of the oligarchy as members of the family that owns the leading banking house in Jumhuriat al-Badara, al-Qassem replied: Quote:Two reasons. We have spelled out from the beginning that our view of the FRSC is to protect the rights of the Sovereign People and their safety net as the viability of government has been revived, and we have kept our word. ![]() FRSC Leader Khalifi al-Qassem RE: Badara - Drax - 25-07-2025 GOVERNING COALITION LED BY FRSC FORMED MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Majlis, February 17, 5660: Khalifi al-Qassem, head of the Free Radical Supper Club (FRSC) faction in the Majlis, has put together a governing coalition of ministers approved by the Majlis. He is taking over as Chancellor from Hakim al-Sabah of the Working Institutional Group (WIG) faction who will become Defense Minister replacing General Hakim al-Afdal who is assuming command of the 2nd Motorized Infantry Division. It is generally believed at some point he will return to his former position as Chief of the Army Staff. Health Minister Abdul Jabbar of FRSC will become Interior Minister succeeding Bandar Qasabi who will take over Interior’s Central Security Organization(CSO). It is thought that these appointments will lead to greater accountability for the Defense and Interior Ministries. Former Chancellor Bashir ibn Ortoq has replaced the Chancellor as Religious Affairs Minister while the Chancellor’s sister, Mariamne al-Qassem, will remain Foreign Minister. The governing coalition Ministers have pledged to have a systematic review and revision of current law to protect traditional family values, a demand for the support of the religious factions Israi Values, Forgotten Abadi Majatrans and Dufazi. The Monsoon has confirmed there will be no return of religious police. The Monsoon notes that although Defense and Interior will have more control and oversight by the Majlis, no one has mentioned the General Intelligence Service (GIS) likely because nobody seems to know how they are funded or even how its chief is selected.
RE: Badara - Drax - 29-07-2025 AISA SPACE CENTER ON AL’FOSTAT WELCOMED MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Finance Ministry, February 17, 5661: The Monsoon asked Finance Minister Nazir al-Sayed what he thought of the lease to the Istalian Authority for Space and Aeronautics (AISA) of 250 square kilometers in western coastal Al’Fostat Muhafaza for a space center. The Finance Minister replied: Quote:First off, Jumhuriat al-Badara is honored to be included in the space program by one of our traditional allies and trading partners. We are well behind in technology; we are trying to catch up, but we are well behind. This is a great opportunity for us. ![]() Finance Minister Nazir al-Sayed RE: Badara - Drax - 04-08-2025 SAMS CONTRACT APPROVED MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Defense Ministry, August 30, 5662: At a meeting between Defense Minister Hakim al-Sabah, the Defense Command Chief, the three Armed Services Chiefs of Staff, and former Defense Minister General Hakim al-Afdal there was consideration of a proposal from Defense Command that the surface to air missile system (SAMS) batteries be henceforth under the control of the Air Force rather than the Army so missile and air defense which is largely responsive to radar under Air Force control can be more easily coordinated General al-Afdal suggested that each Army division also have a SAMS battalion as a divisional asset but the proposal was otherwise agreeable. The proposal was thereupon adopted. Then addressed was the Defense Ministry Procurement Branch request for guidance concerning future contracts for new GFW MIM 104 D SAMS batteries together with repair, maintenance and training for those SAMS batteries. They along with our mainstay howitzers are currently supplied by Ground Forces Weaponry (GFW), a surviving state owned military supplier corporation, but Udayl Gunnery Corporation, a privately owned entity which began as an artillery ammunition supplier then went into naval gunnery and now is into missile development after purchasing the missile and rocket division of Socialist Corps Small Arms, another goverment owned military supplier, would like to purchase and take over the GFW MIM 104 D SAMS program. The idea of Udayl Gunnery Corporation taking over this program received enthusiastic support from all present, and the Defense Ministry Procurement Branch was authorized to make the arrangements. ![]() https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=d3eca437633703f6bc922173f5606d792b738a2be252f6bc774c3892d1ade010JmltdHM9MTc1MzkyMDAwMA&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=4&fclid=3d38b9b0-0bce-6e97-271b-add30a986f5f&psq=mim-104+patriot&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly9lbi53aWtpcGVkaWEub3JnL3dpa2kvTUlNLTEwNF9QYXRyaW90&ntb=1 RE: Badara - Drax - 05-08-2025 FEDERAL EXPORT IMPORT AUTHORITY CREATED MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Finance Ministry, November 17, 5662: Finance Minister Nazir al-Sayed announced today that the Majlis has authorized formation of the Majatran Export Import Authority (MEIA) as a government owned corporation operated by the Ministry of Trade with oversight from the Finance and Foreign Ministries. Asked by the Monsoon what was the need for such an entity, the Finance Minister responded: Quote:Foreign Minister Mariammne al-Qassem is on the verge of arranging a mutually very beneficial agreement with the Foreign Ministry of the Majalite Kingdom, and it will greatly facilitate reaching this agreement if a single entity can be responsible for international purchases and sales with foreign governments and businesses as intermediary for our own business community. ![]() Finance Minister Nazir al-Sayed RE: Badara - Drax - 08-08-2025 BADARA WILL ATTEND CONFERENCE CALLED BY KAFURI KING UMAR MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Foreign Ministry August 17, 5663: Asked by the Monsoon if Jumhuriat al-Badara would attend the conference called by His Majesty King Umar of the Majalite Kingdom in Kasraj for formal formation of the Ahmadi Cooperation Council (ACC), Foreign Minister Mariamne al-Qassem replied: Quote:Absolutely. Minister of Religious Affairs Bashir ibn Ortoq will serve as our long term representative while Chancellor Khalifi al-Qassem will head the delegation to the conference about its formation. ![]() Foreign Ministry RE: Badara - Drax - 17-08-2025 BADARA WILL EXCHANGE STEEL FOR CHROMIUM WITH KAFURISTAN MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Foreign Ministry, May 17, 5665: Foreign Minister Mariamne al-Qassem today announced an arrangement has been reached between the Government of His Majesty King Umar of the Majalite Kingdom and Jumhuriat al-Badara under which the iron and steel needs of the Majalite Kingdom will be supplied by Jumhuriat al-Badara while its chromium needs will be supplied by the Majalite Kingdom. The vehicle will be the Majatran Export Import Authority (MEIA), the government owned corporation operated out of the Trade Ministry with oversight from the Finance and Foreign Ministries. Iron ore, smelted iron, steel girder, other specialty steel products and processed steel rolls will be ordered from the MEIA which match the orders with the producers thereof such as Al’Fostat Specialty Steel. Similarly requests for chromium and its derivatives will be made to MEIA which will purchase them for resale from their producers. Chromium is highly valued for its erosion resistance and hardness. Much of its commercial use is in making stainless steel, electro plating and chrome plating. ![]() Foreign Minister Mariamne al-Qassem RE: Badara - Drax - 25-08-2025 DEFENSE LOOKS AT DRONES MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Defense Command Center, November 30, 5667: Unmanned aerial vehicles was the subject of a meeting between the Chiefs of Staff for the Army, Navy and Air Force and the Chief of Defense Command and Defense Minister Hakim al-Sabah today at Defense Command Center. It seems Badara Military Air, a state owned military contractor, at some point produced some reconnaissance drone prototypes for the Air Force which were in fact then produced for the Ministry of Interior’s Special Security Forces (SSF) and subsequently adapted for postal delivery. Army Chief of Staff Hakim al-Afdal indicated the Army really needed them as divisional assets both for reconnaissance and for aerial attack in conjunction with artillery. Further, that Udayl Gunnery could wok with Badara Miniltary Air (BMA) on developing combat drones. The Chief of Defense Command and the Air Force Chief of Staff indicated no objection to this approach as long as it did not preclude future development of a multi role Air Force unmanned fighter bomber. It was thereupon agreed that the Procurement Branch of the Defense Ministry would contact Udayl Gunnery and BMA about developing military drones. ![]() https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_Aircraft_Manufacturing_Industrial_Company RE: Badara - Drax - 25-08-2025 ELECTION TRIGGERS MINISTERIAL COUNCIL CHANGE MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Majlis, November 17, 5667: After meetings between various factions were held, the Monsoon asked Chancellor Khalifi al-Qassem what sort of governing coalition would emerge and he responded: Quote:Three main issues seem to be shaping discussions in the Majlis. The religious factions, the Dufazi, Israi Values (IV) and the Forgotten Abadi Majatrans (FAM), are not asking for any Ministries but want legislation to make property inheritance to be strictly through legitimate children and for testamentary disposition to be allowed to be male only although not required to be. This is strongly opposed by the increasingly influential Metzists of Majatra (MM). ![]() Majlis ABDUL JABBAR OF FRSC IS NEW CHANCELLOR MANARA ALBRAYD SRIA AL-MUSAMI (If it’s in the Monsoon, it’s got to be true) Majlis, November 21, 5667: The Monsoon has learned that Interior Minister Abdul Jabbar of the Free Radical Supper Club (FRSC) faction in the Majlis will succeed Chancellor Khalfi al-Qassem as Chancellor. Salman al- Makhtoum of the Israil Values faction (IV) will succeed him as Interior Minister. Abdul Aziz of the FRSC faction will replace Mariamne al-Qassem as Foreign Minister while Working Institutional Group (WIG)’s Defense Minister Hakim al-Sabah and Finance Minister and Nazir al-Sayed will remain in place. The Monsoon notes that the Membership of the Ministerial Council, again seems to be broadening beyond the WIG and FRSC factions again and that the distrust of the WIG faction as servants of the oligarchy remains strong. The Monsoon further notes that the Majlis is showing every sign of being the ruling power in Jumhuruat al-Badara with no one trying to allow actual political parties in the current session. Also, the Monsoon suggests that control of the oil reserves and control of the of the General Intelligence Service are still beyond the reach of the Majlis, the courts, the Ministerial Council or anybody else. ![]() Chancellor Jabbar |
