With the feeling of possible repercussions in regards to freedom of speech and creative expression the people of the Dual Republic have increasingly started to gather during the nighthours and enjoy the benefits of scene communities as well as underground music festivities. Additionally this marks the beginning of several high-profile economic entities in the entertainment scene such as "Zentaurus Musik" and the Clubchain "Platin Floor" who has managed to not only establish itself all over the Dual Republic but also has maintained its highly fought over HQ on Jorgen Island which is frequently visited by fittingly high-profile individuals from all over the world. Hand in hand with the new obsessive behaviour surrounding partying, the Dual Republic is being swept over by the music genre "Drum and Bass" and all of its denominations, calls for a renewed pan-dundorfian festival are getting louder and the people consume. These are good days.

The both politicly and economicly empowered Entertainment Industry have reaped the fruits of their labor, the lobbying-heavy political system of the Dual Republic of Narikaton and Darnussia has worked in their favor for once. Via negotiations, personal favors what some may call a bribe, the interest group has managed to persuade a majority in the Senate to vote in favor of the "Night Culture Vitalization and Strengthening Act." Pundits have dubbed it a "Lex Bob" after the high-profile Kalistani "Edwin Bob" who has made waves with his entrance into the Dual Republic. In the short time he has been here he gathered a large support and influence base among his peers as well as artists, some of the things he has frequently criticized such as the state policies on sexual proclivities and drugs have been adapted in the sweeping reform package. To not anger the hosian democratic base of the nation too much the OF (the party which has been moving the bill) chose to strengthen the "in-house-law options" for the hosts. Meaning that while most of the regulations and norms regarding drug usage and public displays of affections stay illegal in the general public, the owners of clubs have been unchained from these mandatory rules inside their own businesses. Legal experts have been vocal about issues of the law as it has 'clear hindrances from a constitutional review point of view' and that according to them there have to be 'afterwork' novelizations of the normative structure of the law.

On a different note, the experimental attitude that was imported with Edwin Bob has swept across the whole sector and now the diversity available to the party-hungry crowd of Narik and Darnussian citizens is greater than ever. Exotic Dancers, Music and even caged animals can be seen with the palette of club themes seemingly unlimited. Some changes and structural choices are more subtle in nature and are not noticable from a consumer point of view but do make a lot of difference for the business side of things. While we're at business, the Bob-model that is developing right now has also seen increased fervor of investors which are trigger happy to put cheap loans or direct asset investment on the table for most entertainment projects. Plans for Military Installation in Clenon

Minister of Defence, Jerry Thaller-Dinkelberg has presented the finalized plans for large military installations around the country after a long and ardous planning phase starting in 5575 with prospecting for potential locations of these bases. They're supposed to house the largest chunks of the Ground Forces and the Airforce as well as control defensive structures such as anti-air systems around the peripheral area of the bases. "We hope to modernize our security in the air-space of the Dual Republic with these bases. Of course, the purchasing and modernization of our current airforce is a high priorty too as past governments have failed to realize the importance of this arm of our armed forces." said Minister Thaller-Dinkelberg. Additionally he has teased that he is in talks with Jelbosphere producers and developers as well as Narikaton and Darnussias own corporations to give out contracts for fighter-jets and other airforce equipment. "It is of outmost importance for the final days of this administration to leave a capable foundation for the next cabinet to start the integration into Jelbic Imperial structures and have modern armed forces." While we did not get answers in this press-conference our research also allowed us to find out that the Great Armada (Dual Republican Navy) has increased ressource capacities for the almost-forgotten naval base in New Verham and the local blacksite the location of which being shrouded in mystery. Apparently there are some expansions necessary to accomodate Jelbic troops joining theír Dual Republican comrades there.

The technological advances in efficiency and manufacturing in the military industrial sector as well as comparable sectors have largely been unavailable to see for consumers. But now this is going to change, right now the game “Spiritspinners” is taking off and selling immense volumes. You might ask what the game is and why your fourteen year old can’t shut up about it. After a first long and seemingly endless term, President Theodora Lackmann has acknowledged the results of the 5580 elections under the results which see her party the Orderfaction lose some seats to mainly the VVP. Naturally her partner, the VVP has now demanded more positions in the cabinet. The decision is going to be even more sensitive than usual since the historicaly strongly desired foreign affairs competence has been de-politicized and restructured under the Directorate for Foreign Affairs whose Chairman isnt getting appointed together with the cabinet anymore. While we do expect Matthijs Sleyster to soon go into well-deserved retirement his post is nontheless still safe from party political maneuvering. Pundits expect Lackmann to divide the departments among party 'speciality' lines, meaning the VVP getting economic affairs and annex-territory and the OF is going to maintain the Defense Ministry under Jerry Thaller-Dinkelberg. All other Ministries are going to be split with the same things in mind, some of them do not fit in either party's traditional topical focus so these are likely going to go to the VVP due to their kingmaker privilege.
