Some people, mostly little radical groups, decry a conflict of interest between politics, businesses and even royal relationships (as the Aristocrat-Goldblooms are part of the House of Elior), yet, this alleged conflict of interest doesn't seem to bother the majority of Yeudis: we asked today regular people in Yishelem what they thought of the Anna Kadiyot-Sharon handover and the responses were mostly positive, with most people recalling the tax cut Sharon II provided in her function as the MOFIN.
Ms. Aristocrat-Goldbloom assured that the transition won't bring any abrupt change in domestic and foreign policy, and that she will continue to work with members of the "Banana wing" who are still left in some key Yishelem institutions, in a note, she more in general outlined that her previous experience as a Minister should reassure everyone that the new Government will work tirelessly to maintain a certain degree of stability.

Yishelem, Endild - Following the announcement, from the previous administration, that the Homeland State would withdraw diplomatic relations with the Kundrati Union, the newly-appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs Jud Beit said that the safe return of diplomatic staff and other embassy workers was completed without any accident. Minister Beit added that the new Administration will take a step further, in the same direction: the Homeland State is recalling all of its citizens back home, as the political situation in Kundrati worsens, in order to keep Yeudi people safe from any ill intention of the new Government in Kasaema, concerns that are even more deep now than previously expressed by the Head of the Agav.
Ashalon Bank BEIFG will make known the decision about staying or leaving the country in the coming weeks, a source from the Ministry of Trade confirmed to the Post.

Saham lifts 100-year-old sanctions on Trigunia; Agaf will continue to maintain no ties despite pressure from Melikvan

Tel Bira, West Bank - Ever since 5490 and despite the renewed 5513 policy on the Reshimat Hara - now dubbed the Reshayma (List), Trigunia has remained a firm lock on a Neset-wide embargo and sanctions despite decades and decades of back-channeling attempts to reverse the situation. As a result, Trigunian obscurity in international markets for the last century seems to have led many experts and analysts alike to surmise that the northern country's recovery on the international field would entail an uplift of the Yeudi embargo, as "one of the necessary solutions".
Executives from the shipping industry in both the West and East hemispheres continue to remain hesitant to conduct business with the oil and gas industry in Trigunia, although rising Pontesian entrepreneurs have been attempting to reverse the tides.
However, those closely associated with IVO, Vascania and Narikaton and Darnussia remain adamant against Trigunian commerce.
Sources from the Agaf seem to indicate that the Saham's decision to lift the sanctions on Trigunia came after extensive pressure from Melikvan, as part of its overall strategy in expanding its oil and gas distribution networks via the Neset after the war with Istalia.
It remains unclear whether the Nisrad of Yishelem will engage in any kind of talks with Trigunia, in the foreseeable future.

Vascanian base to close after more than 10 years of continuous naval stand-offs with Xsampa; rumours cite of Zardic influence

Himmelshtern, North Bank - Opened in 5575, the naval base in Southwest Vascania has served the Empire of the Jelbic Peoples for more than 10 years in its efforts of conducting operations and patrols in the region after the short-lived piracy incident involving a Gaduri-Yeudi oil tanker owned by Hadayim; and while Vanukean fleets have generally worked well together with the Canrillaise, Beiteynuese Admirals have been keen in antagonising Xsampa, who boldly and hypocritically ventured out for the first time in its history a few months later, jeopardising Dovanian security further.
While the staunchest of military officials from the Kohav and the Beiteynuese Naval Command have remained adamant in "not giving a inch" in all these decades of a simmering cauldron of Beiteynuese-Xsampan affairs, both the intelligence community and the Saham have been lobbying the Nisrad of Himmelshtern to remove a "costly and dangerous prop", including but not limited to the Zaar Fleet's deployment of 8 warships on that base.
Especially considering that the Beiteynuese Naval Command has thus far "wasted millions and millions in stupendous stand-offs with Xsampa"; that, according to several high-ranking officials from the Nisrad of Tel Bira, which is currently experiencing the turmoils of the Kundratijan conflict.

What seems to have alleviated the concerns of officers with the Beiteynuese Defence Force is Xsampa's condemnation of Kasaema a couple of years ago; that incident, coupled with the appointment of Zardic-Yeudi Rebecca Tzafrir to the position of Zardugal's Commissar of Economic Affairs last year, seems to have added to the Neset's own lobbying efforts on the Nisrad of Himmelshtern to "cut down on antagonising elements".

Following the closure of the base in the next couple of years, the warships assigned to the Zaar Fleet in Southwest Vascania under the direct military command of Wiel will be re-assigned under Shahar Fleet formations with the 3rd Point Federation.
Kadima II will continue conducting operations in the region alongside Canrillaise forces, which seem rather capable at keeping friction at bay.

Shahar Fleets venture out on permanent patrol operations with increased firepower; "regional deterrence", says the 3rd Point

3rd Point Base, Narikaton and Darnussia - "It is imperative that we maintain the region's security in a more outwards and assertive manner in light of both the Kundratijan crisis and in the aftermath of that blatant Istalian debacle that nobody seems to talk about", was the beginning of the 3rd Point Liaison's statement in an impromptu press conference this morning; "one thing we know is, we can't stand idle with idiots".
Pundits with the Nisrad of Himmelshtern in the North Bank have jokingly referred to Lodamun's continuous military operations from Artania as the "thing that doesn't let the Kohav sleep at night", adding further salt in the highest ranks of the Beiteynuese Defence Force.

The recently procured Kaliburg-class multi-purpose destroyers from Kalistan (1 for each of the 3 Shahar Fleet formations), including the Snba Prtastat-class, Unterseebootabwehr Ferdinand-Klasse and al-Buqiyaa-class frigates from Vanuku and Badara covering air defence, anti-submarine and anti-surface purposes, have replaced warships prior in service with Shahar Fleets in recent years, such as the Kotor-class frigates of Kundratijan-Yeudi design - all, one way or another, gifted to or extremely discounted for Melikvan, as Pontesi continuous its military build up.
All 3 formations of the Shahar Fleets include vessels packing Sato's latest in ballistic and anti-ballistic tech, increased to 9 warships in total.

Kadima IV will venture to the South Ocean and the Artanian Sea, working closely with the Imperial Luthorian Navy in ensuring that the Kundratijans don't do something idiotic", he commented.
By all accounts, it seems that the navy's recent decision is entirely based out of the military's amped up hatred of Xsampa and Kundrati.

Ambassador to Kalistan expresses concerns on the safety of the Yeudi People after Lodamun's withdrawal from the Neset

Kaliburg, Kalistan - Beiteynuese-Lodamese relations have been rocky at best for quite a few years now, especially after Lodamun's challenge of the Yeudi Homeland's hegemony in the Migrant's Pass in 5558; a hegemony which turned out to be a house of cards that eventually gave birth to the 3rd Point Federation a few decades later. Bannerhafen's multiple mediation and intervention attempts thwarted any escalation efforts by high-ranking military officials of the Beiteynuese Defence Force - stopping the worsening of bilateral relations between Yishelem and Kensington.
What came as a shock to the Agaf - which was eager to maintain channels with Lodamun and has never aligned itself with the heavy-weight militarist puffing of the Kohav - was Lodamun's withdrawal from the Neset's diplomatic framework in 5581.
A spokesperson from the Saham further noted that Kensington's prior withdrawal from the commercial framework did in fact raise eyebrows in Tel Bira; however, most officials justified the action as part of Lodamun's overall moves independent of the Neset (at the time, the North Seleyan state was heavily pursuing deals with multiple states, most of which are part of the Neset, thus not thwarting Yeudish commerce).

To ascertain the situation and considering that Kensington has effectively maintained radio silence in recent years, the Beiteynuese ambassador requested to meet with diplomatic counterparts from the Kalistani Government, under directions received from the Nisrad of Yishelem. The purpose of these meetings is to attempt to receive any sort of explanations - or at least to assuage concerns regarding the safety of the Yeudi People present, residing and conducting business in North Seleya and the regions around Lodamun's direct reach.
The concerns, of course, stemming from the unusual patterns of perceived hostility emanating from Kensington's recent withdrawal from the Neset.
"The Beiteynuese Government is simply trying to understand the equation currently at play", a statement issued this morning by the Office of the Secretary of the Nisrad of Yishelem read; "especially noting Lodamun's entry to the Anantonese Empire in 5585".
It is reported that the Beiteynuese Ambassador in Kalistan will seek Kalistan's advice and potential mediation in potential discussions between Yishelem and Kensington; and a hope that Kaliburg may in fact convince Lodamun to reopen its gates to the Neset.

BREAKING NEWS: Kohav issues 1st Azhara to Xsampa after impromptu skirmish sees 2 ships damaged

Himmelshtern, North Bank - The Head of the Kohav completed a press conference 30 minutes ago informing journalists that the Beiteynuese Naval Command's Kadima III deployed in the Red Bass Ocean since last year engaged in an impromptu and unauthorised skirmish with the Xsampan navy.
According to information released by the Kohav, the 2 damaged warships include the Unterseebootabwehr Ferdinand-class BEINS Ma'arav (West) frigate specialising in anti-submarine warfare and 1 warship of the Xsampan navy.
Reportedly, although details are classified, the Beiteynuese frigate moved further westward towards Rapa Pile as part of a quick scanning mission to ascertain whether the recent Xsampan deployment included any and what number of submarines, in order to complement military intelligence received by AllComm. Confronted with more Xsampan warships than anticipated, the mission led to a stand-off which quickly escalated on both sides.
The captain of the BEINS Ma'arav has been recalled back to Himmelshtern to face military trial for violating the military's Azhara Doctrine, as Vascanian authorities move in to assist the frigate.
The BNC is deploying 2 additional flotillas from the Hofesh Fleet to aid the 9 (8 remaining) warships of the carrier strike group in the Red Bass Ocean, which is now on a weapons armed stance.
Kadima II currently deployed in southwest Vascania is now also on a weapons armed stance.

"This blatant hypocrisy and open hostility will not be tolerated", the Head of the Kohav concluded after confirming the 1st Azhara; "we advise the Xsampan Government to recall its navy away from the Red Bass Ocean, immediately".
A spokesperson from the Ministry of Defence did not deny the possibility that the situation may lead to a 2nd Azhara.
