Supreme Marshal Proclaims the Cultural Revolution and the Temanian Union State
21st October 5567

Supreme Marshal Dian has officially declared the commencement of the 'Cultural Revolution', a movement to preserve Temanian socialist ideals by purging all remaining bourgeoise, capitalist and reactionary elements from all social, cultural, governmental and intellectual spheres. Already it has been characterised in it's first few hours by mass purges of minor government officials in front of 'Special People's Courts', which seats one judge and can get through eight cases in hour. Structures of reactionary origin are being demolished to be replace with buildings built out of the Temanian proletarian culture.

Following is some excerpts from the Supreme Marshal's speech:
"Our revolution has so far proven that through discipline, loyalty and insurmountable determination, we can shatter the ideology of the old world that has previously held us in shackles. We can keep the fire going for eternity, and we will cement a new Temanian culture; one built with both purity of spirit and doctrine."

"Temania had distinguished itself as a foremost nation in the world, far surpassing it's origins and uniting itself as one. However, it was betrayed by it's leadership, and we shall prevent such a betrayal from ever happening again. For our enemies seek the ruin of our great project - our great dream. It is our unassailable duty to prove them wrong and empower our Union by the sweat of our work and the hatred of our hearts."

"Regardless of the heights of our aims, a cost must be paid in this transformation. This cost will be paid in blood - that of the reactionaries. All that is not us is reaction, and the reactionaries hate us with every fibre of their cancerous beings, and we must stamp them out, no matter what it takes."

Glory to the Supreme Marshal! Glory to the Revolution!

National Emergency Decreed as Spontaneous Mass Demonstrations Demand End of One Party Rule

NATIONAL – Hundreds of thousands of protesters flooded city streets across the country on what organizers described as the largest single day of demonstrations in weeks, calling for an end to the one-party rule of the People’s National Socialist Party (PNSR). The PNSR has governed Temania since 5545, and while it has introduced limited reforms in recent decades to liberalize the country’s socialist system, demonstrators say the pace of change has been far too slow, fuelling widespread anger and frustration. This anger has been compounded by a sluggish economy, a declining standard of living, and the steady deterioration of public services leaving countless Temanians feeling shut out of both economic opportunity and political decision-making.

The protest movement, which is driven primarily by students and young people, lacks a centralized leadership or a single set of unified demands. Even so, it has drawn support from across Temanian civil society, encompassing business associations, labour unions, non-governmental organizations, and religious groups. The All-Temania Students’ Union has articulated the most detailed platform to date, issuing a six-point list of demands which has been widely shared on social media. The demands include:
  • The lifting of all legal restrictions on free speech, association, and the formation of opposition political parties
  • The holding of free and fair multi-party elections overseen by international observers
  • Greater transparency around the use of public funds, including criminal investigations into allegations of corruption
  • The release of all detained protesters, opposition figures, and journalists
  • Constitutional reform to ensure the complete and total transition to a democratic system
  • Constitutional safeguards to guarantee that the military remains firmly under civilian control
Addressing the People’s Assembly yesterday, Premier Basirun Chuanli dismissed the protests as a “foreign-funded, counter-revolutionary mob of gangsters, fascists, jihadists, and hoodlums.” Later that evening, in a nationally televised address, he announced that he had declared a national emergency, authorizing the military to assist the Temanian National Police in restoring order and “ending the chaos wrought by Artanian imperialists in our kampung (neighbourhoods).” The Premier also called on what he described as “progressive forces throughout the world” to defend the Temanian revolution “in our greatest hour of need.”

Despite the escalating rhetoric and the deployment of additional security forces, the young people in the streets fighting for a more hopeful future remain undeterred. The youth group NowGeneration! has announced plans to intensify mobilization, expanding protests to 100 additional sites nationwide. Meanwhile, the Temanian chapter of the Human Rights Foundation has urged the international community to closely monitor developments in the country and to apply pressure on the government in Redekarta.

Protesting in Pumps: Temanian Beauty Queen Issues Call for International Community to Support Youth Protests

NATIONAL – Shana Hahury, better known to the world as Miss Temania 5707, has gone viral on social media after posting a six-minute video, urging the international community to throw its weight behind the youth-led protests seeking to topple Temania’s one-party communist regime. Speaking from her residence abroad, Ms. Hahury combines poise and glamour with a surprisingly pointed political critique, chastising foreign governments for their continued silence as Temanian youth demand the simple right to live in a free and democratic society.

In the video, Ms. Hahury accuses the Temanian government of “shooting at kids who are frustrated with a system that has completely squandered, or at best underappreciated, their potential.” Ms. Hahury further shared information with her international fans about the alleged atrocities committed by the Temanian Armed Forces and National Police against the unarmed, youth-led protest movement.

Calling on the international community to “come together and support the future leaders of Temania,” Ms. Hahury urged governments in the developed world to use every tool at their disposal to bolster the movement and ensure its demands are met.

"We need sanctions, we need maximum pressure," said Ms. Hahury. "We need those in the international community to do everything they can to bring down the evil communist regime in Temania!"

The reaction among Temanians and members of the diaspora was almost uniformly positive, with many commenters remarking how refreshing it was to see someone so beautiful also be so brave. For her part, Ms. Hahury has continued to share news about the protests with her followers, as well as commenting under the posts of influential world leaders.

Premier Chuanli Denounces Egelian Imperialism
17 August 5709

Speaking at a party rally in Dolokharum, Premier Chuanli denounced the recent charges levelled against the People's Republic by the government of the imperialist state of Egelion. As Egelian propaganda announced on 15 August, the regime in Altea has "placed maximum sanctions" on the Temanian government, claiming that the policies of the People's Republic have "led the nation to ruin."

"Has the People's Health Service brought us to ruin? The People's Education Service? The State Works Bureau?" Premier Chuanli asked the crowd, each time met with a thundering response: "No!"

Premier Chuanli denounced the levelling of sanctions against the People's Republic as a strategy to destroy the National People's Revolution, with the ulitmate aim of opening Temania up for global capitalist exploitation, as had been the case during the colonial period of Temanian history. To this end, the Premier called on the Egelian regime to reflect upon its own history before undertaking neocolonial actions against the Global South.

"Egelian has an inferiority complex about its own origin as a Selucian colony, and its utter failure to subjugate the people of Baeguk" explained Premier Chuanli. "Now, seeking the imperial might and grandeur it never achieved throughout its meagre existence as the armpit of Keris, the Egelian regime is seeking to impose their neocolonial designs across Dovani and Temania – but we say firmly to the global capitalist class and their cowardly pupperts in Altea: hands off!"

The comrade Premier concluded his remarks by calling for mass demonstrations by the Temanian people in defence of the National People's Revolution, for "the people stand firmly united behind the People's Republic, contrary to the perverse imaginations of imperialist powers." He further implored "socialist, communist, democratic, and progressive forces throughout the world" to unite and support the national sovereignty of the Temanian people.

Glory to the National People's Revolution!

Premier Chuanli Supports Students with Additional Funding for National University System, Youth Programs
24 August 5709

For thousands of years prior to the establishment of the People's Republic, education at every level had been an exclusive privilege for those with the means to afford it. For families with wealth, students could be sent to the very finest schools in Temania, whereas the poor would be forced to languish in illiteracy. The ruling class, whether colonial or national bourgeois, was not concerned with illiteracy, for access to education makes one's obedience and subservience to such a ruling class impossible. It was estimated that prior to the establishment of the People's Republic, the literacy rate stood at between 30-35%.

It was only in 5496, under the revolutionary leadership of Comrade Premier Suratman, that the nation's illiteracy and general lack of education was finally addressed through the People's Education Service. For the first time, education was made free and available to all, from the primary to tertiary levels. As a result, the People's Republic of Temania has achieved a literacy rate of nearly 96% as of 5709, lest we ever forget these great strides achieved through the National People's Revolution.

Speaking to a group of students at the National University of Temania in Redekarta, Premier Chuanli reaffirmed the commitment of the People's Republic to its young people. To this end, the comrade Premier announced significant additional funding for the National University System, intended to expand and modernize campus facilities, increase the overall number of educators, and ensure that "every single Temanian can attend a world-class university."

"The People's Republic cherishes and depends upon the youth, who will carry forth the revolutionary flame," said Premier Chuanli. "Our nation will never return to the dark days of ignorance and illiteracy, inequality and intolerance, so long as our future leaders remain well-educated."

Premier Chuanli attributes the rising trend of gangsterism and hooliganism to shortcomings in our socialist education system and social policies directed towards uplifting the youth, issues which he and the Party are ardently committed to redressing. While at the National University, the comrade Premier also announced new programs aimed at providing services to youth, including extracurricular athletics, art classes, tutoring and social clubs, intended "to allow for complete flourishing and expression of the whole personality of each individual in our society."

Glory to the National People's Revolution!

Ahmadi clerics, community leaders organize political party in Temania
It is yet to be seen how the one-party state will respond to the new political formation, led by influential religious teacher Ahmad Fadhlurrahman Santoso

Ahmad Fadhlurrahman Santoso, addressing his followers at his mosque in the outskirts of Redekarta, Temania

10 April 5710 – Ahmadi religious teachers, clerics, and their supporters convened in Redekarta at the mosque of Ahmad Fadhlurrahman Santoso to officially announce the formation of a new political organization in Temania. The People’s Republic of Temania, home to roughly one in six of the world’s Ahmadis, has been a one-party state under the rule of the People’s National Socialist Party (PNSR) since the “National People’s Revolution” of 5485, which consolidated power under a socialist political structure.

The Pan-Temanian Ahmadi Front (Barisan Jemaah Ahmadi Se-Temania), stylized as BERJAMA, is intended to be a broad political vehicle representing the mainstream of Temanian society. In its founding charter, the party defines itself as rooted in moderation, opposed to fundamentalism, committed to pluralism, and guided by the principles of Ahmadi democracy. Though the party is grounded in Ahmadi principles, membership is open to all Temanians regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or gender. The party's charter outlines six key principles, namely:
  • Unity and freedom for the Ahmadi community (ummah), at and home and abroad
  • The strengthening of the Ahmadi religion, and the maintenance of harmony between the different religions in Temania
  • Democratic national governance, with respect for the dignity of life and the equality of all before the law
  • The full inclusion of the ummah in national development, towards building a society which is developed, intelligent, just, and which contributes to world peace based on the values of Ahmadism.
  • Clean, transparent, and open governance through the complete eradication of patronage, corruption, and cronyism
  • The creation of a socially just economic system, based on Ahmadi principles, in order to eradicate poverty and unemployment, improve the prosperity of all elements of society through high value-added growth and development, while prohibiting exploitation and all forms of usury.
The formation of the BERJAMA represents the culmination of a growing desire among Ahmadi clerics, particularly within the Persatuan Ulama Ahmadi Temania (PUAT; "Union of the Temanian Ahmadi Ulama") – the largest Ahmadi organization in the world – to formalize a united Ahmadi political organization in "constructive dialogue" with the PNSR. While BERJAMA has been careful not to present itself as an overtly oppositional force to the ruling party, its platform clearly envisions the eventual introduction of a multi-party democratic system in Temania.

Tensions between the overwhelmingly Ahmadi majority of Temanians and the officially atheist PNSR has been a major issue in Temanian society throughout the history of the People's Republic. When it was founded in 5485, the People's Republic enshrined the "right to freedom of belief and religion" in its constitution, though this would be repealed during the "Cultural Revolution" undertaken by Supreme Marshal Dian from 5567-5587. During this period, the PNSR aggressively promoted atheism, and many mosques were confiscated and transformed into buildings used for secular purposes, while Ahmadi clerics and their followers were tightly monitored.

Activism and protests from Ahmadi social organizations led to the reinstatement of the constitutionally protected right to freedom of religion in the People's Republic in the decades which followed the "Cultural Revolution." Nevertheless, atheism remains the official policy of the PNSR, and party membership, which is often a prerequisite for professional advancement in key sectors of Temanian society, is strictly limited to individuals who identify as atheist. This dynamic continues to create structural barriers for Ahmadis seeking influence within the political and bureaucratic institutions of the state.

Temanian government authorities have so far refrained from issuing statements or taking action against BERJAMA or its leadership, despite the constitutional ban on the formation of “factions” outside the vanguardist ruling party. The emergence of a politically organized Ahmadi opposition could pose the most significant coordinated challenge to Premier Basirun Chuanli’s government since the summer protests of 5709, which prompted sanctions from Egelion and drew criticism from the wider international community, including from the Bianjian foreign minister during the announcement of the establishment of the Dovani Security Organization (DSO).

Premier Chuanli: National People's Revolution to Undertake Democratic Transformation as Constitution Amended, Minor Political Parties Registered

1 May 5710

At the National Congress of the People's National Socialist Party (PNSR), held on International Worker's Day, Premier Basirun Chuanli announced that the National People's Revolution will enter its next phase, Democratic Transformation. Under the leadership and guidance of the vanguard party, the National People's Revolution will be further developed through a system of multi-party consultation to ensure that a broad swath of mass organizations, professional associations and social groups can participate in the discussion and management of state affairs.

This Democratic Transformation of the National People's Revolution will be grounded in the principle of “long-term coexistence with mutual accountability and supervision, marked by honesty and patriotic unity,” according to Premier Chuanli. In this way, the Party is made more accountable to the people, while the National People's Revolution is protected from counter-revolutionary elements.

The Article 4 of the Constitution of the People's Republic of Temania has been amended as follows:
Original: The People’s National Socialist Party is the sole political representative body of the people and shall serve as the vanguard of the society and the State. The formation of other political factions is forbidden.
As amended: The People's National Socialist Party is the vanguard and leading force of the society and the State, and shall engage in multi-party consultation and collaboration over matters related to state affairs among political parties and representatives as determined by law.

Pursuant to their registration with, and subsequent approval by, the Interior Ministry, parties shall be permitted to form as representatives of political, social, and professional organizations. Such organizations may then submit candidates for election to the People's Assembly. Through the participation of representatives in the People's Assembly, as well as bimonthly consultations between the leadership of the Party and leaders of other political parties and representative groups without political party affiliation, the diversity of Temanian society will be better served and reflected in the state affairs of the People's Republic. The leadership of registered political parties may also submit opinions, suggestions and criticisms of the Party directly to its leadership in writing.

Two minor parties have already been registered, pending approval by the Interior Ministry: the Partai Keadilan Sosial Ahmadi (Ahmadi Social Justice Party, PKSA), and the Partai Rakyat Pedesaan (Rural People's Party, PRP).

Glory to the National People's Revolution!

Radical pan-Ahmadist organization issues call for global war against communism
The declaration, recieved by Al-Hilal and other news organizations, is penned by the Laskar Ahmadi group in Temania, with the support of other extremist groups throughout the world

24 June 5710 – Al Hilal, alongside a number of other global news organizations, has received a letter from Jamaat al-Ahmadi ("Ahmadi Assembly"), a militant fundamentalist Ahmadi group in Temania. The letter was co-signed by a number of other fundamentalist groups in Temania and around the world, including the Tajdid al-Din Brigade, Laskar Ahmadi, and Katibah al-Fath al-Ahmadi. In the letter, Jamaat al-Ahmadi and its allies have declared a global "jihad" against communism. In the public interest, Al Hilal has published the letter in full below:

Quote:Jihad Against Communism

Jamaat al-Ahmadi
Tajdid al-Din Brigade
Laskar Ahmadi
Katibah al-Fath al-Ahmadi

Praise be to Almighty and Merciful God, who revealed the Book of Bliss to His Messenger Ahmad, peace be upon him.

Few dangers have confronted the Ahmadi religion across the centuries with the magnitude and persistence of the ideology of Communism. In our own time, it has swept through the lands of the Faithful, spreading like locusts, eating its riches and fertility. Building their regimes on the bodies and bones of the Faithful, Communists have destroyed the richness and dignity of each country they infect, toiling to rip religion from the souls of the people they seek to control.

History shall show it was the Communists who first declared total war against the Ahmadi faithful:
  1. In Temania, home to one in six Ahmadi faithful, where Ahmadis have languished under a Communist regime for nearly three centuries. This regime has committed grave atrocities against our religion. During the so-called “Cultural Revolution” of the devil Dian, our clerics were taken by the government, thrown into prison where they were to be tortured mercilessly and forced to eat pork. Our mosques and places of worship were taken and defiled in order to serve the secular, Atheistic aims of the Communist regime. Despite the retreat of the People’s National Socialist Party from its all-out war on Ahmadism in recent years, the Atheist party remains in control, its disdain for religion thinly veiled. We have not forgotten the crimes of this Party, which in the present day murders and disappears Ahmadi young people.
  2. In Medina, the treacherous regime of Fenoz Harif and its compradors in the so-called “Ahmadi Union Group,” have directed the full force of their military against the faithful brothers in the Abadi Liberation Army while overseeing a Godless, Capitalist regime of exploitation. This regime has created the conditions leading directly to the rise of the Communist Action Party, which has accelerated its war against the State, and stands on the precipice of victory. The Communist Action Party represents one of the most pernicious strands in the global Communist movement; that is, the Party’s cowardly avoidance of open conflict, and professed lack of concern, with religion. But as a Communist movement, it is necessarily Atheistic, and shall seek to dominate and destroy the Ahmadi faith, as it already has sought to do in areas falling under its control.
  3. In Utaristan, the Armed Revolutionary Popular Front of Utaristan have captured Cise unopposed, led by an Atheist woman. Ahmadis in the Faravon Province have taken up arms to defend themselves and the ummah in Utaristan from the new Communist regime which has been established through force. The Communists, desperate to sink their claws into the Ahmadi lands and their wealth, will undoubtedly strike against this brave resistance of faithful.
The crimes and sins committed by the Atheist Communists are a clear declaration of war on God, His Prophet, and all His followers. In compliance with God’s law and commandments, we issue the following fatwa to all Ahmadis in Temania and throughout the world:

Killing Communists and their allies, civilian and military alike, is the individual duty for every faithful Ahmadi man who can do it, in any country in which it is possible to do it, in order to liberate the lands of the faithful. The Communists must be fought until there is no more Communist oppression, and justice and faith in God restored through victory.” We further call on all Ahmadis to provide aid and support to the faithful warriors wherever they have mobilized in the war against Communism, across every nation and continent.

The Communist rejects any hereafter, whether reward or punishment. Thus, take heart! Any war fought by the faithful against Communism shall achieve victory, for we desire death more than we desire life! We shall valiantly fight with the assurance of our reward in Heaven from Almighty God; meanwhile the Communist shall shiver with fear over his impending death at our hands.

If Communists surrender and leave our lands, we shall grant them safe passage; if they sincerely repent and revert, we shall show mercy and welcome them into the nation of the faithful. Until such a time, however, war must be waged.
