Kasraj, Abi'nadi - Officials from the Ministry of Defense confirmed that targeted strikes had been carried out by MOI Shahid-136 loitering munition drones in addition to the newer Shahid-149 "Kathuristan", an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV), which struck positions close to the southern border of Solentia-Kafuristan in a means to respond to attack by Abadi Army for the Protection of Kafuristan (AAPK). Emir Field Marshal, 1st Class Bakar bin Taajuddeen al-Majali, the commander of the new Kafuri Royal Guard Corps (KRGC), announced that they had conducted the strikes alongside elements of the Kafuri Majatran Air Force and "other elements...", it is believed that the General Intelligence Directorate's Special Service Unit was also involved with the raids against the AAPK. Defense officials cited the elimination of several prominent commanders associated with the AAPK and other "...groups that are working to further radicalize Majatrans into harming their fellow Ahmadi brothers and sisters."

Pontesi - His Majesty, King Bassam II and Chief Minister Abdul Baari al-Nasr welcomed the Pontesian delegation to Abi'nadi earlier this month as the two nations seek to keep channels open due to rising tensions in southeast Majatra. The talks included high-level discussions on economic cooperation, coordinating the so-called "Istalian question" and, according to some but not officially announced, there were rumors of an arms deal brokered by the Majali family and the Pontesian government. This however, remains unconfirmed. The Kafuri Investment Authority announced following the end of the three day state visit, held in May, 5558 that they would be seeking directed investment into Pontesi and a number of Pontesian corporations that had sectors that were notable for the Kafuri people and the government. The Kafuri Investment Authority has continued to capitalize on significant wealth generated by Sharnaft and other oil and natural gas-based ventures as once again Terra feels "alive". The meeting comes at a time when the Kafuri government has had to contend with a number of radical Ahmadi factions targeting Istalian communist from Kafuristan, notably the Abadi Army for the Protection of Kafuristan (AAPK) which attacked the Istalian socialist on New Years Day a couple of years prior; it came at a time when a group of Pontesian delegates were attacked and the Istalian government failed to protect them according an internal report. Kafuristan condemned the attack on the Pontesian diplomats, noting that delegations are sacred at deserve the utmost protection. Despite the condemnation, the Kafuri government has refused to comment on any further diplomatic rows between the two nations. The Chief Minister, in Pontesi, highlighted the Majalite Kingdom's desire for peace throughout the continent and called for a peaceful, diplomatic solution to the row.

Fresh attacks on Istalian Socialist by AAPK prompt concerns.

Istalia - Supreme Leader of the Abadi Army for the Protection of Kafuristan (AAPK), Sheikh Qutb bin Husain al-Qathoum, announced further strikes on Quanzari socialist and oppressors following a localized mortar attack on a Istalian Socialist League headquarters located in Trivendito. The attack, carried out close to where the New Years Day attacks happened several years prior, continue to highlight the ability of the Abadi Army for the Protection of Kafuristan and highlight the wider implications for regional security. Officials from Kafuristan condemned the attack and cited increased strikes on AAPK and other associated groups throughout Kafuristan but noted that these groups are not solely restricted to Kafuristan and operate across the world. A representative from the Kafuri Foreign Ministry noted that Majatrans in Istalia, notably those who often referred to themselves as "Quanzari nationalist" might turn to radical Ahmadism as a means to an end when other options, such as elections, fail. al-Qathoum continues to evade General Intelligence Directorate officers, as he has for several decades since ascending to leadership of the AAPK and a young radical Ahmadi.

PCI statements draws ire from Kafuristan over anti-Ahmadi sentiment.

al-Kasraj, Abi'nadi - Foreign Minister Tammaam al-Badour announced a temporary program for Istalian's of Majatran descent where they would be vetted and then permitted to come into Kafuristan in the wake of recent news that the Istalian government, notably the Communist Party of Istalia, would seek to repress them should they act in any "counter-revolutionary" way. "We wholly condemn the actions of the government in Romula and strongly advise that they recognize these terrorist groups are trans-national and are not strictly Majatran." The Foreign Minister highlighted that several prominent leaders in ASIK, ASIM and other groups are non-Majatran, several of them being foreigners from Keris, Dovani and other locations throughout the globe. "We cannot make the equivalency of Ahmadi = Majatran. That is an issue and will be condemned wholly by the Majalite Kingdom and its fellow Ahmadi states. We again urge caution to the Istalian government in the actions they are taking to the many for the actions of a few."
The temporary program was started as a number of Istalian's of Majatran descent asked for asylum in Kafuristan following the announcement from the Communist Party of Istalia, the largest party in Istalia and part of the government of Istalia. The Foreign Minister welcomed these Istalian's and said that Kafuristan was no stranger to taking in refugees of anti-Ahmadist movements. In an emergency Supreme Security Council meeting, His Majesty, King Bassam II ordered a heightened state of readiness for the Armed Forces of Kafuristan and announced that deployment of Kafuri naval assets to the coast to monitor the situation.

Representatives from the Ministry of Defense confirmed that they had launched a new program aimed at providing new anti-tank capabilities to the Kafuri Majatran Army, the Kafuri Marines and the Kafuri Royal Guard Corps Ground Forces in cooperation with the Majatran Organization for Industrialization. The new weapon, a modernized reusable variant of the Trigunian and Deltarian RPG, will be known as the RPG-32 or "Nashab" as its assigned name. The project, which has been in the works for the past year will be available by next year to all who do business with the MOI. It will be deployed to all units following the purchase of an unknown quantity of of the RPG. Minister of Defense General Mubashshir bin Baqir al-Sadhi also announced that Kafuri Shipyard Industry Corporation (KSIC) and the MOI have agreed to the construction of a new corvette known as the Miyatah-class corvette designed to provide the Kafuri Majatran Navy with additional resources in both littoral defense and green and blue water operations. The Miyatah-class will likely be assigned to patrol the Sea of Majatra, and the now operational pipeline that connects Kafuri to Vanuku underneath the Sea of Majatra. In addition, MOI and Kafuri Shipyard Industry Corporation (KSIC) agreed to develop a domestically produced landing platform dock (LPD) for the Kafuri Majatran Navy, the proposed Abi'nadi-class amphibious transport dock is already in the works and is expected to take another 2 to 5 years before production and sea trials before being deploy for service.

Kanjor and Kafuristan sign major oil trade deal.

al-Kasraj, Abi'nadi - Officials from Sharnaft joined in welcoming the deal signed with Kanjor for the supply of up to 225m barrels of oil annually, expected to bring in billions in revenue for the corporation and provide the Kafuri people with numerous benefits. Sharnaft and the government of Kanjor agreed to a limited price band that the oil will be kept within, depending on market conditions. Officials from Sharnaft visited Kanjor over the period of a week and were joined by the Kafuri Ambassador to Kanjor, Abdur Razzaaq el-Anwar, to develop this deal. While the deal for oil was discussed, the ambassador noted that the two governments would seek to develop further economic ties. Kafuristan and Kanjor, close in proximity to each other but on different continents, have historical had relatively neutral relations. The ambassador said that they intend to change that and develop wider cooperation, notably in the field of economics and local regional security.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Nations (OPEN) welcomed the news and Secretary-General of OPEN, Dhareef el-Moradi, and stated that Kanjor restoring its position as a top tier oil and natural gas producer was key to the international economic situation stabilizing. Kafuri oil, known commonly as "Majatran light", is a light, sweet crude oil that is entirely extracted and refined within Kafuristan, leading to significant reductions in cost for customers as well as providing top of the line oil and other petroleum products for its customers. Bier Qassem Crude cost has risen due to the increase in global tensions, reaching a high of $90.43; Majatran light remains slightly less expensive at $88.91 a barrel.

His Majesty, King Bassam II builds new border security force, relying on the Bedwi.

Kafuri Minister of the Interior Nawaar el-Firman confirmed the establishment of a new border security force replacing the old Kafuri Border Force, which was dominated by ethnic Bedwi tribes, the new Border Security General Directorate (BSGD; Majatran: Mudīriyyat Amn Ḥaras al-Ḥudūd) and will be charged with all matters relating to the border. The move comes as the border security situation in Kafuristan has been in a state of transition according to a spokesman for the Interior Ministry. The Kafuri Border Force was previously disbanded by His Majesty, King Bassam II and a significant portion merged into the new Kafuri Royal Guard Corps (KRGC) alongside the former Kafuri Armed Forces' Strategic Force which handled a significant portion of the nations missile and rocket artillery. Since the foundation of the Majalite Kingdom of Kafuristan there has been a considerable investment, largely by Kafuri investment into the Majatran Organization for Industrialization (MOI), into missile and rocket technology alongside both armed and unarmed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) commonly known as drones. The new Border Security General Directorate will leverage the King's ties to the Bedwi tribes, which are often loyal to the monarch as a representation of Akim's will, alongside steady payments and gifts. The Majali family possesses a unique situation where they had fought alongside several dozen Bedwi tribes throughout the history of Ahmadism and Majatra and have generally earned their loyalty and respect. In the spirit of the Kafuri Border Force, the new BSGD will be largely reliant on the Kafuri Bedwi, alongside the Kafuri Turjaks and Majatran Asli that have pledged loyalty to the King and the Majalite Kingdom of Kafuristan. The first Director-General will be General Majed al-Ahazi, a scion of the prominent Ahaz family, originally a Bedwi family that was gradually Majatranized and continues deep traditions and ties with the Bedwi community in Kafuristan and Majatra.
