Hello all!
We're all very excited for the enthusiasm that the rollout of PT: Reborn has generated among the community, noting it has generated an increase in the amount of RP articles.
We noticed that the current setting of the game timer, one month every twelve hours, seems to be too slow for the new game mechanics part. The Moderation team is open to consider returning to a one month every eight hours timer, considering it as a fair balance for more dynamic game mechanics but still months that are not too short to produce quality RP arcs.
For this reason, we're officially opening a max 1 week feedback period in which all members of the PT community are encouraged to tell us their opinion on this matter. Upon closure of this feedback period, our team will make a final decision.

I'd support with or without PT:R. I wasn't really in favor of 1 month:12 hour change in the first place. And I would add, lengthening the ticker had no effect on backdating.
You'd have my vote for.

Personally I very much liked longer period for Legacy forum since slowed things down to a reasonanle rate; but think 8 hours will work better for Reborn. So I support reduction to 8 hours.

The 4-hour month in classic Particracy was, in retrospect, too short. You always had to rush legislation through, and it was difficult to engage in any meaningful roleplay between elections because they were only slightly more than a week apart.
On the other hand, 12 hours seems very long considering the new gameplay mechanics. An election every 24 days (assuming one election every four years) could become very boring for new players.
For me, the ideal length would be 6 hours per month, but I would be comfortable with 8 hours, as Drax proposed. As long as it's a number that divides evenly into 24 hours so that the hour changes occur at fixed times each day.

So, as someone who played parricracy classic the most, I'd say 12 hours is too long. Sure. it's great to have more time to create bils and meaningful RP. So everyone gets a chance to do something. However, we should cut the time down a bit. We have a lot of impatient players (myself included) and it would help to inject a bit more momentum into PT:R. That’s why I’m in favour of reducing it to 8 or even 6 hours.

I agree with the points made here. I personally would prefer 6 hours the most, but 8 hours is also acceptable, especially since its been done sucesfully already.

Thanks to all who shared their feedback. Given the absence of opposing players, the Admins and Mods decided to end the feedback period and adopt the change immediately.
