Peace talks to be held in the Likatonian Capital


Peace talks between Solentian representatives and Kalopian Government Officials are to be held in Clovisport, Likatonia.

Mediatiors hope to find a meaningful resolution to this conflict and call for cease to all hostilities whilst talks are in progress. We hope each side extend their hand to the other so we may prevent a humanitarian disaster from unfolding in Solentia.

Mediators of the Clovisport Peace Talks will attempt to find compromises and solutions for peace.

The representatives from the government of Solentia arrived. After introducing themselves they talked through the key Solentian demands;

Solentia will gladly join peace talks.

- We demand Kalopia, as the aggressor, unilaterally withdraws from Solentia.
- We demand Kalopia, as the aggressor, pays compensation for all of the damage caused by its military activity. This includes compensation for the families who have lost loved ones, and money to rebuild destroyed infrastructure.


The Solentian government is committed to fresh elections. Elections are easy, we will run elections as soon as we can run them throughout all of Solentia. At the moment Kalopia occupies 25% of our population, so we cannot run elections there until the Kalopian invader has gone.

Given the deteriorating humanitarian position in Solentia caused by the Kalopian invasion and maritime blockade of our ports we also add the following demand;

The Kalopian government and military are investigated for the war crime of genocide for their deliberate targeting of the Solentian civilian population.

As evidence;

- Kalopian launched an illegal invasion of the sovereign state of Solentia without any support in the Kalopian domestic legislature, or with any authorisation from the internal community.
- Kalopia, from the beginning, deliberately targeted civilians and civilian infrasture in poorly planned airstrikes which have killed tens of thousands of Solentian civilians.
- Kalopia implemented an economic blockade designed to punish and starve the Solentian civilian population.
- Kalopia has triggered a famine in Solentia that it has done almost nothing to stop.
- Kalopia has stolen cultural artefacts from Solentian museums.
- Kalopia has used Solentian refugees as prostitutes.
- Kalopia has desecrated religious buildings in Solentia.

Kalopia is deliberately implementing a genocide against the Solentian people, launching an illegal invasion, directly targeting civilians, creating a humanitarian crisis, targeting vulnerable woman, and vandalising and stealing buildings and artefcats of cultural signficiance to the Solentian people.

This genocide must stop now.

Subject: Response to Solentian Demands and Allegations 

Esteemed Representatives, 

The Republic of Kalopia acknowledges the offer from Likatonia to mediate peace talks. Kalopia has always been open to genuine efforts for peace. However, the demands and accusations presented by the so-called Solentian Government are completely unacceptable, false, and based on propaganda spread by the Ahmadi State. 

A) Rejection of False Allegations 

Kalopia strongly rejects the baseless accusations of genocide and war crimes. These claims are outright lies designed to distract from the crimes of the Ahmadi State, which has terrorized Solentia and violated the principles of Ahmadism. 

1. Kalopia’s Mission Is Just and Necessary: 
  - Kalopia intervened to end the civil war and stop the creation of the Ahmadi State, a terrorist group that threatens Kalopia, Solentia, and the entire region. 
  - This was not an act of aggression but a necessary step to protect innocent lives and regional stability. 

2. Kalopia Does Not Target Civilians or Religious Sites: 
  - As a majority-Ahmadi nation, Kalopia respects the sanctity of religion. Claims of targeting mosques or civilians are ridiculous lies spread by extremists. 
  - All military operations have been precise, targeting only terrorists and their infrastructure. 

3. The Maritime Blockade Is a Security Measure: 
  - The blockade is aimed at stopping drug trafficking and arms smuggling that fund extremist groups. It is not designed to harm civilians. 
  - Kalopia has organized the largest humanitarian aid operation in its history, delivering hundreds of tons of food and supplies to those in need. 

4. Outrageous Lies: 
  - Claims of stealing cultural artifacts, exploiting refugees, and desecrating religious sites are completely false and have no basis in reality. 

B)Response to Demands 

The demands of the so-called Solentian Government are unreasonable and unacceptable: 

1. Unilateral Withdrawal: 
  - Kalopia will not withdraw while the Ahmadi State and other extremist groups remain active. Any withdrawal must be part of a comprehensive peace agreement that guarantees security and stability. 

2. Compensation: 
  - Kalopia will not pay compensation for damage caused by years of civil war and the actions of extremist groups. 

3. Elections: 
  - Kalopia supports free elections but insists they cannot happen until the Ahmadi State is dismantled and security is restored across Solentia. 

C)Kalopia’s Position 

To achieve peace, Kalopia proposes the following: 

1. Disarmament of the Ahmadi State: 
  - All extremist groups must disarm and disband immediately. 

2. International Oversight: 
  - Neutral observers can oversee humanitarian aid and ensure all parties follow international law. 

3. Joint Reconstruction Efforts: 
  - Kalopia is willing to help rebuild Solentia, but this must be a joint effort with international partners. 

4. Accountability for Extremists: 
  - The Ahmadi State must be held accountable for its crimes, including terrorism and destabilizing Solentia.

The Likatonian committee would like to propose the following actions, please provide proof of evidence of claims of war crimes and genocide.
For Solentian Allegations:
(ooc: This means that if possible, we would like to a dice-roll on the discord to see if evidence is found. We propose the following: 1-4 no evidence is found of genocide or war crimes, 5-9 little evidence is found of war crimes - none of genocide, 10-15 concrete evidence is found of war crimes - negligble of genocide, 16-20 war crimes and genocide evidence is found and is concrete.)
For Kalopian Allegations:

(ooc: This means that if possible, we would like to a dice-roll on the discord to see if evidence is found. We propose the following: 1-4 no evidence is found of war crimes by either Ahmadi State or Ahmadi Union, 5-9 some evidence is found of war crimes by Ahmadi State none of Ahmadi Union , 10-15 concrete evidence is found of war crimes by Ahmadi State some evidence to Ahmadi Union, 16-20 genocide evidence is found and is concrete for both Ahmadi State and Union.)

We also ask if Ahmadi Union could compromise by promising to disarm Ahmadi State as soon as peace is achieved, and ask Kalopia to promise funds to rebuild Solentia.

The representatives from Solentia are stunned at the paperwork and points submitted by the colonial aggressor state Kalopia.

A) Rejection of False Allegations 

1. Kalopia’s Mission Is Just and Necessary: 
  - Kalopia intervened to end the civil war and stop the creation of the Ahmadi State, a terrorist group that threatens Kalopia, Solentia, and the entire region. Can Kalopia point to any efforts whatsoever to assist with ending the civil war, other than launching a full scale invasion of Solentia, an invasion with no mandate from Solentia, the international community, or from the Kalopian legislature? Where is the paper trail of Kalopia trying all options other than an illegal invasion? Can Kalopia provide evidence of any Ahmadi State activities prior to the illegal invasion? Only Kalopia has attacked Solentians.
  - This was not an act of aggression but a necessary step to protect innocent lives and regional stability. Blatently absurd, the Kalopian invasion is the single most significant cause of the deaths of innocent Solentian's. Violence was contained to Solentia until Kalopia launched its invasion, at which point Ahmadi State conducted attacks inside Kalopia, which had just illegally invaded a sovereign nation. The Kalopian naval blockade has triggered a famine in Solentia.

2. Kalopia Does Not Target Civilians or Religious Sites: 
  - As a majority-Ahmadi nation, Kalopia respects the sanctity of religion. Claims of targeting mosques or civilians are ridiculous lies spread by extremists. It has been categorically recorded that Mosques have been destroyed in airstrikes and desecrated. The legitimate elected government of Solentia is willing to back these claims.
  - All military operations have been precise, targeting only terrorists and their infrastructure. Blatent lies. Civilian deaths have been widely recorded and reported by Solentian media. The airstrikes have targeted the legitimate government of Solentia and its armed forces. What military that is completely reliant on airstrikes due to the small numbers of ground personnel it has deployed, that has fought its way through urban centres, would claim to have precise operations only targeting terrorists? Is Kalopia suggesting the legitimate government of Solentia and its armed forces is terrorist? Can they point to what terrorism the legitimate government of Solentia has conducted?

3. The Maritime Blockade Is a Security Measure: 
  - The blockade is aimed at stopping drug trafficking and arms smuggling that fund extremist groups. It is not designed to harm civilians. The maritime blockade has induced a famine, which Kalopia has done nothing to prevent.
  - Kalopia has organized the largest humanitarian aid operation in its history, delivering hundreds of tons of food and supplies to those in need. Only Lodamun has carried out any humanitarian aid activity. Apart from one speech by the Kalopian President, a war criminal and liar, Kalopia has done nothing to alleivate the famine.

4. Outrageous Lies: 
  - Claims of stealing cultural artifacts, exploiting refugees, and desecrating religious sites are completely false and have no basis in reality. These are being widely reported in Solentian media.

B)Response to Demands 

The demands of the so-called Solentian Government are unreasonable and unacceptable: 

1. Unilateral Withdrawal: 
  - Kalopia will not withdraw while the Ahmadi State and other extremist groups remain active. Any withdrawal must be part of a comprehensive peace agreement that guarantees security and stability. The Kalopian invasion of Solentia is completely illegal and was never even debated in the Kalopian legislature let alone debated with the government of Solentia or the international community. Kalopia has acted illegally in invading a sovereign nation.  

2. Compensation: 
  - Kalopia will not pay compensation for damage caused by years of civil war and the actions of extremist groups. Kalopia has caused the damage. The only extreme group operating in Solentia is the Kalopian military.

3. Elections: 
  - Kalopia supports free elections but insists they cannot happen until the Ahmadi State is dismantled and security is restored across Solentia. The reality is free and fair elections cannot occur until the 25% of Solentia illegally occupied by Kalopia is free from foreign interference. 

C)Kalopia’s Position 

To achieve peace, Kalopia proposes the following: 

1. Disarmament of the Ahmadi State: 
  - All extremist groups must disarm and disband immediately. The primary extremist group operating in Solentia is the Kalopian military. Ahmadi State is an anti-colonial resistance organisation.

2. International Oversight: 
  - Neutral observers can oversee humanitarian aid and ensure all parties follow international law. Agree.

3. Joint Reconstruction Efforts: 
  - Kalopia is willing to help rebuild Solentia, but this must be a joint effort with international partners.  Kalopia has caused the damage and should pay for it.

4. Accountability for Extremists: 
  - The Ahmadi State must be held accountable for its crimes, including terrorism and destabilizing Solentia. Kalopia is the main criminal actor in Solentia. Ahmadi State have aided the legitimate government of Solentia. Resistance to colonialist aggression is not a crime. The only destabailizing influence in Solentia is Kalopia. Once Kalopia withdraws we shall have peace again.
