Councilors, I must conclude that the Prince of Amateria's speech was extremely convincing to me that he is prepared to take over his father's throne. For years, the King has served us well and taken Egelion towards international prestige, yet I am afraid of what direction our country will go.

While I share your concerns, Head Councilor, I do not believe we must be so quick so misjudge the Prince's intentions, when he has not even had the opportunity to lead! I do not share the idea that we must be hesitant of the Prince of Amateria. He has studied for long to inherit the throne, we must not shred his confidence until he has had proper time to lead.

Councilor Cascabel

Ah!, There she goes again, little miss perfect. The Prince needs to have COJONES of steel... of a bull--of a lion! I will have no small-dick pansy leading this council--this country! We need a strong man like Amadeo.

Councilor Ibarra

Listen, Councilor Cascabel, what is not what we have at the moment. We cannot go ahead and reject the birth right of the Prince. You are either with him or not....... You would not want me to divulge your disloyalty to His Highness, now would you?

That is enough! Seize this miscreant behavior. You are councilors of Egelion and yet here you sit, debating the abilities of our prince! I do not believe we should be so fast to discredit anyone, much less the King for he still lives. We must invite the prince and--

The door of the councilor chamber opens in the fury. Royal Guard pour in. A cold, brisk winter gust fills the room, making some of the candle chandeliers lose its flames. The smell of scented smoke, the outside air, and a feint taste of bergamot fills the room. The Prince enters the room, his boots click on the floor as his cape is heard dragging the floor. He walks over to the front of the room and sits in the King's chair.

Members of the council, I must thank you for this quick meeting, I understand the weather is beginning to tun cold. I must turn your attention to the Royal Medical Team, who was previously at Villamor Palace just two hours ago for the care of the king.

He passed away as of this evening in the Library within Villamor Palace. We have not broken the news, nor has anyone at the Palace been allowed to leave. We are beginning to raise suspicion.

My--my... Why have we not proclaimed anything yet? The Prince of Amateria must be proclaimed King! Why are you here?

My excellencies... we are afraid that the king may have been...tampered with and his death was not natural. We believe the decline he has faced in the past four years has been a cause of unnatural reasons. We do not know who. We do not know why. But we must investgate before we can make any announcements or proclamations.

Councilors,

We enter a new era where we have a young, dedicated King leading our future. His Majesty, has passed a budget recently that addresses some of the concerns of this council. For example, Councilor Ibarra, the King has promised more investments towards the service ector like healthcare, this should please Ibarra Health and Ibarra Bank.

Councilor Ortega,

We are still in need of equipment for the armed forces. I understand Soverano, your military subsidiary, is working day and night to bring out equipment at the military headquarters in Cartablanca. I have received information that we received another 5000 conscriptions this past year, we are quickly reaching our goal of having a force of 400,000 active personnel. We are still developing the Leopardo 2AE tank to satisfy our land needs. More armored vehicles are set to arrive from Canrillaise Defense Enterprises soon.

Finally, Councilor Mondragon, I am letting you know that the urban beautification programs are underway thanks to investments from Santamar Bank. We are glad to see that trees, new structures, and sculptures are beginning to show up all throughout the country.
