Yishelhafen Fleet to escort all commercial vessels in the Migrant's Pass; military command seeks to work with Lourenne & Aldegar
May 5574

3rd Point Base, Narikaton & Darnussia - Following a recent official communique issued by the Ministry of Defence in Bannerhafen, the 3rd Point Liaison of the Beiteynuese Naval Command confirmed that the Yeudi Homeland would be "following suit in ensuring the stability and security of the region, in light of this gutless attack by an erratic and warmongering Istalian regime to Pontesi".

The Medinat Department was quick to follow suit in reminding the international community that the Migrant's Pass will remain closed to any and all military forces not part of the Jelbic Empire, the MSCO or the 3rd Point Federation.

The Kohav echoed the statement by announcing that any military forces violating the security of the region will be immediately fired upon.

-

While the Yishelhafen Fleet of 19 freshly procured warships embarks in its mandate within the waters of the Migrant's Pass, joining Narik and Darnussian Trade and Federation Fleets on the same mission, the Yeudi Fleet's total of 25 warships led by the Kaliburg-class BEINS Majikot destroyer has set up a defence line northwest of the ongoing conflict currently taking place on the northeastern shores of Pontesi.

As per the statements issued from the Office of the Admiral in Sholemberg, the 9th Flotilla of nuclear powered submarines will continue its reconnaissance and intelligence missions elsewhere [...].

The BNC has also increased the alertness of the currently docked Lekavot and Hofesh Fleets in the West Bank, with the Ministry of Defence citing ever increasing concerns across the Red Bass Ocean, despite the presence of joint naval operations with Lourenne and the Jelbic Empire around Vascania.

-

As of this moment, it remains unclear whether Melikvan will trigger the mutual defence clause in the 3PF; or whether and how Vanuku will react.

-

In other news, the Medinat Department has brokered a communication channel with Aldegar and Lourennais military command in Kasad [Aldegar] on the western side, in an attempt to work with regional forces in ensuring that a potential conflict in the Sea of Lost Souls would not spill over towards the Majatran Strait between Badara and Saridan or - much worse, according to military officials - in the Aldegarian Gulf.

Although the Beiteynuese Naval Command has mobilised Kadima III in the 3rd Point (with Kadima II currently working with imperial and Lourennais naval forces in Vascania), the deployment order has not been given towards the Majatran Strait.

A communique issued by the Medinat Department provided an explanation:

Quote:Before jumping into further naval deployments as we all proactively seek to ensure that any regional disruptions from the potential escalation of conflict between Pontesi and Istalia are as limited as possible, we wished to coordinate with regional partners.

Aldegar and by extension the Empire of Canrille and Gaduridos are those immediately impacted from the closest northern flank, that is through the Aldegarian Canal. We have expressed a motion that neither the gulf nor the canal and even Aldegarian sovereignty be abused for military goals during this entire ordeal. To that end, we have secured the agreement from Gaduri shareholders holding 30 out of the 40 seats required to support the motion - with Beiteynu holding 10 more.

We hope that the United Kingdom shares our sentiment of avoiding warmongering uses of the canal.

-

The Beiteynuese Ambassador in Fort William has attempted to meet with government officials in regards to Mordusia and the Commonwealth.

Neset-wide embargo against Istalia follows 1st Azhara; navy ordered to shoot down Lodamese drones in MP
August 5574

3rd Point Base, Narikaton & Darnussia - What started as a press conference by the Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command and the 3rd Point Liaison on the status of the navy's prior deployments of the Yishelhafen and Yeudi Fleets to the Migrant's Pass in response to Istalian aggression against Pontesi turned out to be a joint announcement together with the Medinat Department and the Kohav - with Naomi Tzafrir, Deputy Head of the Medinat Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs herself announcing the issuance of a Level 1 Reshimat Hara to Istalia, confirming that the Beiteynuese Government was now formally enacting an embargo and advising the Yeudi Diaspora from across the world to do the same.

With the situation in Pontesi continuing to deteriorate since early this summer, the Ministry of Defence has stepped up its efforts with further infantry and mechanised divisions entering Pontesi from the northwest and assisting with domestic order and humanitarian efforts as waves of refugees continue to head westwards to Sholemberg and Amshinov. The Ministry of Health & Social Services has also dispatched several groups of doctors, nurses and social workers - while several trucks have been conscripted from the private sector to carry water, food and essential goods.

Rumours of an upcoming 2nd Azhara to be issued by the MOD in the coming months are flying rampant.

-

When asked whether any of the military branches of the BDF or the 3PF were working together with the South-Western Command of the Lodamese Navy, which dispatched more drones to Malivia during the summer, the Head of the Kohav responded in a rather firm manner.

Quote:No we're not.

Kensington does not seem to have gotten the memo last time; in this region we cooperate when it comes to military and military intelligence operations. We have come to understand that Lodamun prefers to work solo or with very select partners in a preferential conduct.

That's not going to fly around here.

As such, the navy has issued an order to the Yishelhafen and Yeudi Fleet's Snba Prtastat-class frigates and Sa'ar 6-class corvettes to use their Barak surface-to-air missiles against any non-allied drones in the region "without hesitation".

The 3 Horizon-class destroyers of the Yeudi Fleet specialising in air defence have also been given the same order.

To further aid in air defence efforts, the navy has also tasked 2 additional MAEW aircrafts.

"Opportunists of destruction & devastation"; Medinat Dpt. adds SocIntern and Baltusia to Yeudi Shitlist
August 5574

Yishelem - In a rather unsurprising move considering the decades-long animosity with Xsampa and the recent declaration of war by Istalia to Pontesi, 2 members of Socialist International, the Head of the Medinat Department Cohen Shavit announced earlier this morning in a rather cold and emotionless press conference that the Beiteynuese Government would be cutting all ties and channels with both Baltusia and those associated and/or affiliated with the left-wing organisation, issuing a Level 2 Reshimat Hara, effectively adding both alongside Xsampa and Istalia.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs was keen to clarify a few hours later that there would be no ideological discrimination or persecution of either permanent or visiting citizens affiliated with any of these nations or SocIntern itself, underlining that the Holy Land is "a free land".

-

The Agafim declined to comment on whether any Beiteynuese counter-intelligence operations in Baltusia either exist at all or would be terminated, or how the Reshimat Hara would impact any joint efforts with Kalistan in the region (which the Agafim declined to acknowledge). Journalists have thus far attempted to persist on the matter, citing several intelligence related leaks from Baltusia in the past, with no luck.

"Baltusia left the Yeudish Neset long ago and has long abandoned its prior efforts at the BFTZ, the two primary points of diplomatic and commercial connections with the Yeudi Homeland and the Yeudi Diaspora", Mr. Shavit stated; "their recent opportunism in the face of destruction and devastation instigated by the Istalian regime upon the Jelbic Peoples and Pontesi is a hypocrisy of such magnitude we simply cannot ignore".

"Pontesi does not stand alone in this".

Lingering traces of Beiteynuese influence in Seleya exterminated as Medinat Dpt. fumbles talks in Aldegar
August 5574

Kasad, Aldegar - In a rush of paranoia both the Medinat Department and military command from Yishelem opened a communication thread with stakeholders and the Administrative Council of the Aldegarian Canal back in May, in an attempt to temporarily block military use of the canal; evidently based out of an unfounded and irrational assumption that a potential escalation in Southeast Majatra would "open a can of worms" in terms of military operations by non-Majatrans, and especially Artanians, referencing Mordusia and the Luthorian Commonwealth in the Majatran Strait.

While the motion seemed to find a common ground of approval by Narik and Darnussian and Gaduri stakeholders - amounting to a total of 80 seats in favour which triggered further internal deliberation by Aldegar - Lourenne and Kundrati were quick to shoot it down. Justifiably, the Empire of Canrille stood its ground and reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to stability and the security of the region and trade, and nothing more.

However, the Kundratijan response triggered a cascade of commentary back in Yishelem, with increasing fears that the Beiteynuese Government may be considering terminating its ties and channels with Kasaema in a more "permanent manner", this time.

-

Additional Lodamese statements on the matter in support of Lourenne's opposition to the motion - both of which maintain military presence in Aldegar and the former in Mordusia, as well - were echoed by prominent entrepreneurs of the Yeudi Diaspora in Gaduridos, bashing the Yeudi Homeland for its "unjustified irrationality and interference in Seleyan matters, further risking an already volatile situation".

In fact, incoming lobbying pressure from the Canrillaise, Gaduri and Yeudi business communities in the East reached such a level that the Medinat Department was forced to withdraw its motion, despite ongoing Aldegarian deliberations.

Thus, signalling the official end of any lingering traces of Beiteynuese influence in Seleya, once and for all.

-

Sources from the Beiteynuese Embassy in Fort William claim that the Luthorian Government has remained unresponsive (or deliberately silent).

"Stop this warmongering before all hell breaks loose"; MOD issues 2nd Azhara to Istalia, urges Melikvan to trigger 3PF/JE pacts
January 5575

Yishelem - The Ministry of Defence completed an impromptu press conference 20 minutes ago issuing the 2nd of a total number of 3 official warnings to Istalia, which has escalated its offensive efforts since early fall last year. As a result of the announcement, both the 3rd Point Liaison and the Naval Chief from Himmelshtern confirmed that the Lekavot and Hofesh Fleets have been mobilised, as the military entertains a potential scenario of advancing the already deployed Yishelhafen and Yeudi Fleets - with the latter currently blockading Pontesi's northwestern shores.

Additional infantry and mechanised divisions comprised of Merkava battle tanks and Soltam artillery weapons systems of the Beiteynuese Magafaim have moved further inland in Pontesi, under the directions of the Khaganate directly from Wiel, in an attempt to reinforce defensive lines in the northwest and especially towards the Octagon. Airforce personnel from Amshinov's military bases have also been called, hinting at a potential assistance to Pontesi by air through multiple mini-incursions utilising Kfir and Nesher jet fighters.

It's expected that the Beiteynuese Naval Command will be deploying one of the Shahar Fleets currently docked on the 3rd Point Base in Narikaton and Darnussia to join Vanuku's Third Fleet currently patrolling in the Majatran Sea.

However, with Istalian forces "in the middle" and northern routes in Majatra jeopardised, that would only mean war.

The fiasco of Beiteynuese-Xsampan relations (Part 1)
January 5575

Yishelem - It's important to remember that history tends to gulp and forget the geopolitical fumbling of nations rather easily, as we all go on with our day-to-day lives and in the pursuit of our dreams. What felt tectonic back then, can rarely be remembered today. It is the way of life in Terra.

In the case of the Beiteynuese-Xsampan relations, the whole thing started with a book back in 5479.

-

Then it began steadily unravelling over the course of almost a century now. An extremely hypocritical and relentless propaganda began issuing out of the preferential hellhole that is Xsampa - I mean, who are we kidding - and while the Beiteynuese Government firmly kept refusing to involve itself with a rogue nation, the Yeudi intelligence community had different ideas. Allegedly.

-

In 5515, during the entire Lourennais-Sekowan warmongering destruction phase, the Beiteynuese Naval Command was forced to retreat from the Gulf of Midway as Xsampa began showing its ugly teeth even more aggressively.

Decades passed in the same cat and mouse dance as ever, until Socialist International and Istalia appeared on the geopolitical radar.

-

But around 5534, during the entire Vascanian - Rapa Pile ordeal, AllComm allegedly gave Allink access to Xsampa. Allegedly, of course. Setting the stage for the double-faced conduct of both sides in this century-spanning debacle of relations based on hypocrisy.

-

Again, allegedly, as the Medinat Dpt. seethed for being excluded from Xsampa's infamous "Yak Diplomacy", the Agafim snatched a prominent Xsampan couple in Baltusia in 5557. An incident that never appeared on any headlines, much less the biased Xsampan ones, despite the series of leaks that began circulating in intelligence circles a few years later.

Meanwhile, Xsampa was being armed by Equifund manufacturers of a Yeudi and non-Yeudi nature alike.

A year later since the alleged Baltusian operation, another alleged operation probably took place, according to the de-classified reports from the AllComm. Allegedly, the Yeudi Homeland spotted a Kundratijan plane entering Xsampan airspace, and in an attempt to figure out its cargo, the Yeudi Homeland itself armed Xsampa with lethal Yeudicho IRBMs, so it could get the intel from Xsampa itself.

That same year, a meeting took place in Eroncourt, which apparently led to a set of rather different circumstances 10 years later. Prior to the Empire of Canrille helping further arm Xsampa's naval capabilities, Xsampa's hypocrite of a Foreign Minister had visited Eroncourt in 5565.

Not unsurprisingly, again in 5558, Xsampa called it out. Beiteynu barked back, a few months later

A year later, Xsampa bashed Lodamun and Beiteynu for imperialism in Artania in an entire situation that quite a few high-ranking officials in Yishelem still maintain to this day that it was the Yeudi intelligence community itself getting in bed with Xsampans a year earlier.

-

Allegedly, around 5562, some of those missiles - and other things - found their way to Istalia. Xsampan interference in Majatra was noticed by the MSCO, which curiously discarded the issue in a whim...

-

From 5563 and onwards, things took a drastic turn for the worse, as Kundrati and Vanuku themselves started cozying up to the Xsampan degenerates in commerce and trade. And a year later, Xsampa made a pivotal decision, openly supporting Istalia.

The fiasco of Beiteynuese-Xsampan relations (Part 2)
February 5575

Yishelem - Then, Hadayim's Gaduri oil tanker got attacked by pirates in southwest Vascania in 5571. And everything went downhill after that; even as the Istalian-Pontesian-Kafuri conflict began appearing on the horizon.

Despite the deployments of not 1, but 2 fleets by Beiteynu and Vanuku, including a carrier strike group, to the scene that same month, the High Chancellor of the United Kingdom of Lourenne proposing joint operations and leadership in Vanuku accepting, Xsampa did the unthinkable.

After bashing Beiteynu once again in April, they swept in and rescued the Yeudi crew in May.

And for the first time in centuries and centuries, Yeudis set foot on Xsampa, making the Yeudi Homeland so nervous that the Prime Minister of the Holy Land herself flew to Eroncourt in August to seek Lourenne's assistance "in retrieving the hostages".

A year and many extensive talks later, Xsampa flew the crew to Eroncourt and the hostages returned to Beiteynu and Gaduridos.

-

Evidently, there was no going back after that, from either side, with Beiteynu pursuing a permanent Zaar Fleet in the region. In response, the Xsampan Navy amped up its operations in the Sovereign Sea, issuing a warning strike to Beiteynu in 5573.

In May, Wiel cut ties.

-

Surprisingly, Zardugal initiated mediation talks between the Jelbic Empire and Xsampa; Xsampa joined in a rather positive demeanour - the hypocrites that they are in this entire story - Vanuku welcomed them and Beiteynu remained silent, having to deal with security concerns in Pontesi.

Then Istalia moved in on Pontesi. Vanuku walked out, got ready to sever any lingering connections entirely and cut power to Zardugal in 5574.

And in December of 5574, Xsampa tipped the scales of no return.

MOD to inaugurate island base in southwest Vascania by the end of the year; navy deploys additional warships
February 5575

Wiel, Vanuku - With Zardic mediation efforts abruptly ending in light of the ongoing Istalian offensive against Pontesi and with both Beiteynu and Vanuku attempting to pressure Melikvan to invoke the Jelbic Empire's mutual defence clauses, it seems that the conflict may spill over on the west side, revolving around the naval installation's construction currently underway in southwest Vascania.

MOD spokesperson Eliana Ipokrite bashed Xsampa as "one of the biggest hypocrites Terra has ever seen", citing how the Xsampan Government was attempting to paint Istalia as the victim of a "senseless offensive". Despite several security briefings by the AllComm and the Agafim indicating "immense risks in antagonising the region's rising player", the Ministry of Defence will pursue the completion of the base, unhindered, under directions from the Emperor - and Meleh, serving as interim Head of Government with the Prime Minister still in a coma - himself.

The Zaar Fleet - which will be organised directly under the Khaganate's command - is set to include 3 frigates for different specialised uses with one of them packing LORA short-range ballistic missiles developed by Sato.

The fleet will be led by a multi-purpose Kaliburg-class destroyer, already undergoing sea trials in Kalistan.

-

The Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command confirmed that an order was given for the partial deployment of the Hofesh Fleet to the region, in an effort to alleviate the strain on Vanuku's 2nd Fleet, as the conflict between Pontesi, Kafuristan and Istalia continues to escalate.

Kadima II of the Shahar Fleets will remain and continue to work with Lourenne's forces on joint patrols.
