Kundrati's Foreign Minister responds to Beiteynu cutting Kundrati from intel program

It was announced through a statement by the Beiteynuese army office that they would begin to cut ties with Kundrati via the Allink. This was not surprising given Beiteynu ramping up tension against Kundrati for supporting neutral states like Zardugal, which was explicitly mentioned in their statement.

The Kasaema Guardian asked the Foreign Office for a comment and such a comment was provided for. Here is the following comment, in full.

We aren't surprised. They don't like neutral countries. This was known. So be it.

Kundrati's "FOMAT City:" What is Kundrati working on?

It was announced a while back that Kundrati would be hosting the next FOMAT (FOMAT 32) because of their win at FOMAT 30. Due to the planned long wait (the Kundrati Music Academy said they would host FOMAT 32 in January 5602), it was expected that there would be a FOMAT in between. That FOMAT has ended with a stunning win for Dundorf, and now all eyes are on Kundrati for the next FOMAT.

Kundrati is leaving no expense unturned. The local authorities have begun the "FOMAT City" project in Pieskova Hora in Peghonai. The following would be built over the next twenty-odd years.

The FOMAT City project is expected to be a new district in the growing Pieskova Hora, taking land from an old industrial park. FOMAT City would include new subway stations, a dedicated commuter rail stop, bus services, and even a tram to move around the city toward the main downtown area. The new town will include spacious housing for participating countries' administrative staff, media, and participant musicians. The housing will start at one bedroom and end at four bedrooms with expectations of low to medium-rise apartment buildings with their own laundromats, spacious gym space, recording and practicing space, business centers, and even a small playroom for children. Some apartment buildings will also have outdoor space for people to run around, play tennis, or more.

FOMAT-City will also have its hospital with dedicated emergency room facilities, a children's hospital, and more to provide medicine and life-saving services to the area properly. The hospital will have enough beds for a few hundred people.

This is not to mention that FOMAT-City will include two medium-sized malls and various commercial streets to connect to the residential areas. These malls will be stocked with the best in Kundrati and international storefronts, hoping that brands like Goldfoods and Anything Lourennaise will sell their products to Kundratis and internationals everywhere. The malls will also contain movie theaters and dedicated transit options.

Due to the name FOMAT-City being dedicated to FOMAT, there will already be facilities to make this FOMAT one of the best out there. Thus, a dedicated production facility is also being built. This facility will have its own television studio space for news programs, radio production facilities, and music recording space. This facility will include the dedicated media center for FOMAT 32, which, after it is finished, can be revamped into additional editing and media production facilities. Cargo and logistics spaces will also ensure prompt delivery and receiving of media-related products.

Finally, a large stadium and culture hall will cap the FOMAT City. The stadium will host up to 78,000 people for concerts and the like and will be next to the malls, allowing ample space for as many people as possible to enjoy FOMAT in person. The stadium will also have concessions and the like alongside a dedicated media room that can connect to the more significant media center outside the stadium. The stadium will also have its dedicated transport facilities. The culture hall attached to the stadium will also have sports-related facilities like dedicated gyms for specific sports, cardiovascular gym facilities, various performing arts performance areas, and more to encourage people to hang out in these areas more.

The central government in Kasaema has provided funding for FOMAT City alongside national and regional investment banks. National banks have also secured loans, and international bank loans for FOMAT City are expected to be secured. When FOMAT ends, this city will turn into a new downtown area with additional residential and commercial structures being made outside the originally planned area, encouraging more development. The project is in three phases (the stadium, culture hall, and media studio, then the residential and hospital area, then the commercial space), with all phases supposed to be complete by the next FOMAT in 5602 (with the phases supposed to be complete by 5585, 5595 and 5602).

Kundrati's Foreign Minister also responds to Pontesi

Another statement announced that Pontesi would be cutting ties with Kundrati and forbidding their companies from working with Kundrati companies. In their statement, they claim that Kundrati's reaction to Beiteynu cutting some ties with Kundrati was the so-called final straw. Thus, the Foreign Minister was asked if he had any reaction, and he certainly had one.

Here is the statement that he provided to our Kasaema Guardian, in full and unedited:

I had no idea Pontesi must dictate what a neutral nation can and cannot do. They forget that they are in a war and that we offered to provide them arms. We never said no, you cannot get our arms; we never made any excuses; it was Pontesi who gave us excuses. We are willing to rent some office space and teach my colleague what a neutral country is and isn't because their education is shockingly tiny - a neutral country does not pick a side, and it is clear that Pontesi wanted us to be on their side from the start. So be it. Unlike them, we are a liberal democracy, and we won't be forcing our companies to leave Pontesi on the threat of being charged with treason.

Kundrati companies have begun to leave Pontesi already, as their Pontesian counterparts have been forced to no longer cooperate with their counterparts in Kundrati. The Kasaema Stock Exchange recorded a small loss when it was announced that Pontesi was cutting ties; however, it quickly recovered once it learned that Aldegar might join the Canrillaise Empire. Banks have begun to ask for repayment of any loans given out to Pontesi or citizens of Pontesi to recover losses.

The Pontesi Embassy in Kundrati, accordingly to the already-announced cutting of ties from Pontesi, will be forced to close, and their ambassador will be kicked out within 12 hours. The Kundrati Ambassador to Pontesi has already returned and will begin their duties as a seasoned member of the Foreign Office advising the Foreign Minister on Majatran affairs.

Kundrati and Xsampa work together in Xsampa's television and film industry.

In a meeting with Xsampan officials, Kundrati and Xsampa agreed to help upgrade the latter's television and filmmaking industry to the modern era. While Xsampa's current television and film offerings are fine enough, an upgrade of the industry for Xsampa will do wonders for an area of Terra (south Dovani) that is underrepresented in television and the media.

The Xsampan officials met with officials from the Keita Film Company and other major movie and TV studios within Kundrati, who agreed, alongside Tomasadyn National, to finance a massive upgrade in Xsampa. The upgrade includes a new television and film studio. The studio will be able to produce films for the local market much more easily and quickly while also producing television programs to entertain the people and news programs to help bring news to Xsampa in a way that is more concise and fair (as much as can be possible) to the general audience. Tomasadyn National will work with Xsampan officials to figure out how to finance the project given the vast differences in Xsampan financial law, and it is hoped that Xsampan banks can also contribute to the project in some form.

The project will also provide Xsampa with new jobs in acting, editing, and many other fields. To train these individuals, the state broadcaster of Kundrati, alongside technicians, newsreaders, editors, and more from both Jildrath Television and Peghonai Television, will be sent as a team (for a total of 350) to teach their counterparts about everything from how to use a video editing machine to how to provide news consistently and from making slates to producing big budget movies with great stories that tug at the heart. The team is expected to remain until the studio is ready. Let's talk about the studio more.

The studio is expected to be in or near the capital with enough space for soundstages, editing areas, administration, two indoor filming areas, and one outdoor filming area. It will be alongside a larger television studio that can produce up to four television programs at once (from talk shows to sports programs and more), which will have its own editing areas and administration, among other facilities. These studios will have the best that can be offered for television and movie editing.

Understandably, such a project will take a while. The first few news programs are expected to be produced from 5585 onwards, with the rest of the studio going online from 5587 to 5593.
The initiative will also provide infrastructure for expanding television coverage throughout Xsampa, including television antennae and the like, and possibly factories to make televisions themselves. However, this may take a while as such things are best done gradually. The plan is to have at least five primary television antennae throughout Xsampa. The hope is that other Xsampa regions will have advanced TV facilities that can connect to these antennae (or more antennae). If this goes well, it is hoped that the "television initiative" can expand to other cities from 5600 onwards.

As Kundrati leaves the Beiteynuese Neset, how do the people react?

The National Assembly of Kundrati passed the Treaty Withdrawl Act, which included a diplomatic withdrawal of the Neset. Although surprising to some, such a move was not necessarily one to others, given recent moves by Beiteynu on Kundrati and vice versa. The move has caused Beiteynu to entirely leave Kundrati as they have begun to close their embassy, attempt to wrangle their companies out of the country to diversify them in other nations, and try to get their people out of our country.

The Foreign Office, in turn, has said that they will close their embassy in Yishelem and advise Kundrati citizens in Yishelem to evacuate as soon as possible. Banks like Tomasadyn National have begun to call back all loans from Beiteynu or Beiteynuese businesses, alongside all investments made in Beiteynu to transfer to the Canrille network and projects at home. In contrast, other Kundrati companies have begun to cut ties with their Yeudi partners, citing the global situation. The Government cited actions by Beiteynu recently that made it necessary to do so without delay, for example, the implication that ties would be cut if the Hulanevek Gem was not given to them for "verification" or their recent actions in Istalia.

The market, however, has reacted differently and strongly. The Kasaema Stock Exchange recorded a loss of 600 points at the closing bell yesterday. Today, the KSE lost another 600 points and is expected to close at 750-900 points. Stock exchanges in other Kundrati cities have reacted similarly, and there is a general feeling of chaos as people rush to sell stock and try to take away anything they have in the Yeudish state. Long lines at banks to withdraw funds have also been spotted in almost every city in the nation, especially at banks owned by Yeudis or banks like Etxea Bank and Tomasadyn National.

The Central Bank of Kundrati warned that they would have to raise interest rates to keep up at the moment. However, they have also announced that, in a stunning move, they will begin talks with Lourenne to peg the Kuno (Kundrati's currency) to the Canrillaise Fleur (CFR) and that they will allow the stock exchanges and markets to use the CFR as a second trading currency. Further talks have helped calm things down at the stock market, but there is still a general feeling of chaos.

People have begun to react in a manner that is befitting the old days. As said, they are lining up in banks to get their money out as soon as possible. However, some have taken the opportunity to begin to riot. Kundrati police have said that the rioting has spread throughout the south and center of the nation and that the riots specifically targeted Yeudis. As of now, according to them, 21 people were killed and another 34 injured, with Yeudish businesses, heritage centers, and the like being burnt, looted, and otherwise harmed. Police have begun to station themselves at prominently Yeudi neighborhoods and businesses, warning that further looting and rioting may run afoul of the Human Security Act, which was designed for crimes against minorities and the like.

People in the north have reacted similarly to the usual lines when withdrawing money. However, rioting has not been noticed, with the government commending the people for maintaining order in a time like this. Still, hatred has been seen in Kundrati's social media against Yeudis and their partners, claiming that the Jelbic Empire is ruled by Beiteynu behind the scenes, for example, and calling on Kundrati to help Istalia and Zardugal. However, those have been called unheeded. They have also taken the time to mock the people of Narikaton and Darnussia, calling them two horse-headed humans and saying that their actual vomit is better than their "word vomit" and the like. Local social media have taken down more egregious posts.

The President of Kundrati, Alan Bienennueva, said the following in a media statement released to the press:

We have not been happy with the behavior of the Beiteynuese who have claimed they want to harm us. Given how they have treated us, and how they have historically tried to get Luthori and others to invade us, how they sowed distrust in our state, Beiteynu has already harmed our people and will want to do more for the extinction of the Kundrati races. Unlike them and their puppets, we wish Beiteynu and their Yeudis well. And unlike them, we will not encourage our people to go after them. It is never right to do that; it only seems to justify the Beiteynuese behavior. I ask for calm in this present moment and understanding from our people that while the Yeudish state wishes to destroy us, the Yeudish people do not and that the people should never be a target for your bigotry.

The President's statement was condemned for possibly trying to incite more hate towards the Yeudish state, and social media has either mocked or blasted the President for his comment in the first place. Hours later, the Interior Ministry said that they condemned any use of race or any excuse, in general, to go after Yeudi-Kundratis and that should riots continue, a state of emergency would be declared to suppress the riots firmly.

ArtSat finally launches their first rockets from Kalistan

A simple ceremony was held at the Spencer Space and Test Center in Kalistan today, attended by the CEO of ArtSat, various members of the ArtSat crew, and members of the Spencer facility. The first rocket was launched from the facility, which recently had an upgrade to allow rockets like ArtSat's and others to operate in the facility. The first three ArtSat satellites launched and will be online in a few days.

Ever since the first launches six years ago, ArtSat has added around 378 satellites to space, providing coverage in 5 countries, including Kundrati. This has helped expand ArtSat's network, making it one of the best satellite internets with good speeds and capacity. With this new launch facility, ArtSat plans to use both Spencer and the Northern Cosmodrome to double the launches from 21 to 42 and the annual satellite contribution from 63 to 126. That means that in five years' time, the current 378-satellite network will almost double.

Some additional news came from Dundorf and Luthori, who confirmed that they would allow ArtSat to expand their operations in these countries. Customers in Dundorf and Luthori will start to access the ArtSat network in January 5582 with hopes that nations like Lodamun and others can join soon after.

KL announces campaign ambitions, rails against the KPP in public speech

Bronislav Sládek, presidential candidate for the Kundrati Union gave a public speech officially announcing his bid for the presidency ahead of the electoral cycle in the state of Pilgon today, head of Kundrati Legion headquarters. Albeit a small crowd thousands showed for his first public appearance, during the speech Sládek lambasted what he titled "A one party state owned by foreign powers." The KL has been criticized by elements of society as radical and outlandish in some proposed acts, however many seem to  be supporting the party simply out of a desire for a different voice in politics after decades of continued KPP domination. Interviews with many supporters at the rally had a variety of citizens, ranging from the center-right who disagreed with the KPP on matters of ecology and morality, to far right wingers eager to see a party they deem patriotic enough to pushback against the traditionally socially democratic regime.

Bronislav Sládek, presidential candidate for the Kundrati Union has in a electoral landslide taken the decades old majority KPP out of power with the KL earning 56%~ of the national vote equaling 25 million voters. The KL has announced that officially it will now begin what it calls the "Great Kundrati Leap Forward", vowing with its new majority to enact sweeping changes to the morally and financially corrupt nation.

President Sládek lambasts Kalistan, announces state seizures of Kalistani assets

Bronislav Sládek, president of the Kundrati Union announced today in retaliation for what he titled "Saber rattling in the sea" that the Kundrati government would begin effective immediately nationalizing all Kalistani private assets in the government including summer villa and illustrious mansion owned previously by the heads of Kalistani state. Though the amount of assets owned by Kalistan in kundrati were negligable, all financial transfers in and out of the country were halted, including an indefinite suspension of the Kaliburg metro cooperation until relations are restored.

During this economic crisis, numerous companies have continued to flee the state of Kundrati in a brain drain, most especially the armaments and banking industries. The largest of these in arms manufacturing the KDC, was caught nearly immediately by authorities having over 90% of their assets seized. Sládek announced the warehousing harboring thousands of crates of guns, preserved tanks and APCS, and some aircraft stuffs would be used to arm and train the first 10,000 volunteers of the Kundrati Legionary Guard in military bases following the soon to pass paramilitary cooperation acts.

As a final insult Sládek announced suspension of the citizenship of Empress Carolina I Ananto stating, "Until the rogue Empresses dogs reign her in she can consider herself a pariah and remain on the edge of a Kundrati bayonet."
