Navy works with ILN in Artanian Sea; Kohav issues 1st Azhara to Kundrati, Saham imposes Neset-wide embargo; and other news

Himmelshtern, North Bank - A joint press conference organised this morning by the Head of the Kohav and the Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command was met with severe silence and skepticism from both journalists and analysts alike. 

Unlike the stance maintained by the Luthorian Government as published by the The Fort William Inquirer earlier this month, most officials with the Beiteynuese Government and especially the Narik and Darnussian influenced Nisrad of Himmelshtern, have maintained a simmering distaste of "continuous militarist tactics"; comparing the BDF's and the navy's spotlight in recent decades akin to "past Dorvish and current Lodamese" policies.

"Resorting to and putting our military at the forefront of actions and headlines is simply evidence of the declining state of the Yeudi Homeland's position in international affairs", was the statement of an anonymous source close to the Secretary of the Nisrad of Himmelshtern.

"One's use of and focus on the military means that everything else either failed or does no longer exist", she concluded.

Evidently taking cue from Kaliburg - after the Empress of the Anantonese Empire called for sanctions last month against the fascist government in Kundrati - the Saham was quick to issue guidelines on a Neset-wide embargo on Kundrati, shortly after the Kohav issued the 1st Azhara; also confirming in the process that both Kadima IV currently conducting patrol operations in the South Ocean and the Yeudi Fleet itself from Sholemberg would be moving further north to the Artanian Sea and coordinating directly with the ILN.

"It is of the outmost importance for both the 3rd Point Federation and the Luthorian Government to contain the Kundratijans, lest we have to deal with the spill-over of either maniacal manoeuvring or flat out conflict in a prime location of maritime trade", the Head of the Kohav stated.

"Yeudish wealth and prosperity have all but evaporated in Kundrati", the press release by the Saham stated. 

Reportedly, hundreds of millions in equity have been lost, despite the efforts of the private sector such as Ashalon Bank BEIFG to transfer its assets to other Artanian states, even before the conflict had reached nation-wide proportions.

Of the most "wounded" are Kundratijan-Yeudi manufacturers of the defence industry and the Equifund - with the Kundratijan conflict representing the second back-to-back blow since the collapse of supply lines in Istalia (another former major partner of Yeudi defence companies).

Despite the Bannerpakt and Bannerhafen and Melikvan having picked up the slack in recent decades, the loss of not one, but two former trade hubs of Yeudish commerce [Kundrati and Istalia] has hurt momentum and confidence in international markets.

"The Yeudi Diaspora is called to pick up the pieces of the fallacies of the pursuit of ideologies", the press release by the Saham concluded.

Archaic Museum submits request to inspect Kundratijan Gem in Kalistan; YBI releases findings of investigation

Yishelem - The resurgence of the mythical 8 Gems of legend since their first unveil in Wiel in 5476 after almost 3000 years since the fall of the Kingdom of Yishelem (when the Holy Gem adorned the crown of the Luthorian sovereign in Beiteynu) seems to have no end. 

Representing the pinnacle of the Yeudi Heritage's now scattered roots across the 8 continents of Terra since the 1st Yeudi Homeland's collapse in the 1200s, these mere and simple pieces of rather ordinary stone have fascinated both the general public and the nobles and non-nobles alike of the House of Elior since even before Elias Ishmael IV's coronation in 5406 signalled the ascension of the (curiously numbered) 8th Yeudi Homeland.

It certainly did not help the methodically instigated obsession of mainstream media that Gem Publishing had hinted at all these tales several decades before, with the unfinished and notorious book series "The Meddling Affairs" speaking of a wider shadowy conspiracy turning the wheels.

Because, evidently, most of the series's claims turned out to be true. 

Which begs the question: what other rumours are true?

What's real; and what's fiction?

What we know for a fact, thanks to the Archaic Museum of Yishelem, is that, at present, 4 of the 8 Gems are in Wiel; while 2 of the 8 Gems are in Fort William. All 6, part of two imperial mandates mostly at odds with each other.

However, the most conspiracy-riddled and controversial one is the white Kundratijan Gem, shrouded in mystery and false-flags.

Technically, it all started when Gem Publishing's second instalment in the aforementioned book series, "Baruch Assasination", claimed that Cunnington Marit, a high-ranking officer of the defunct Terran Remediation Agency gave the Hulaveneks 1 of the 8 Gems in 5263, betraying the Kadiyots.

Then things went quiet for a long time - and then things went extremely loud in a short time.

In 5573, the National Museum of Kundrati History in Kasaema claimed 1 of the 8 Gems; presumably the one Marit gave to Hulavenek, considering that it was presented as part of the Hulavenek family's collection.

The claim, amidst yet another instance of rising tensions in Beiteynuese-Kundratijan relations.

That same month, the Archaic Museum of Yishelem requested an audit to authenticate. Shockingly, the request was explicitly denied merely a day later, as the Kundratijan Government moved to work with entities known to be at odds with Beiteynu, ultimately leading to the abrupt termination of intelligence partnerships between the two states by 5578. Then ties were officially cut a few years later, as the rift continued to increase.

Meanwhile, domestic affairs in Kundrati had began boiling just a year before; bound to escalate to a full-blown civil war.

An incident at the National Museum of Kundrati History in Kasaema during the entire ordeals of April of 5573 eventually led to the Yeudish Bureau of Investigations opening a joint case with Kundratijan authorities.

Allegedly, the Kundratijan Gem that had gone on display was a fake - and the real one was extracted in May 1st of 5573.

And it allegedly reached Ananto that same day.

"Then why did you leave?"; Head of the Saham briefly comments on Beiteynuese-Lodamese conundrum

Tel Bira, West Bank - The entire matter of Lodamun's abrupt and unexplained withdrawal from the Neset more than a decade ago has remained under multiple deliberations since the Beiteynuese Ambassador to Kalistan initiated a "mediation discussion" in Kaliburg in 5589.

The remarks issued by the Kalistani Foreign Minister the month after and the Lodamese Secretary of State's comments that same summer seemed to de-escalate concerns with moderates in the Beiteynuese Government. Even the staunchest of officials from both the Nisrad of Yishelem and the Nisrad of Tel Bira - namely from the Agaf and the Saham respectively - calmed down after word came around of Lodamun's ratification of the Migrant Accords and Bannerhafen's continuous mediation attempts in Himmelshtern insofar as Kensington's observer entry to the 3rd Point Federation was concerned.

Thus, the matter was deprioritised over the course of the last couple of years.

However, the newly appointed Narik-Yeudi Head of the Saham, Manfred Legelfein, did not seem entirely persuaded by the arguments of the Lodamese Secretary of State. During an interview with "Limitless Elite", he commented on the matter briefly:

Yes, it is absolutely clear that neither Lodamun nor Kalistan nor even the great Anantonese Empire seek to harm or block the Yeudi People and Yeudish entrepreneurship in North Seleya. That much is clear.

What I've been scratching my head about is the duality of Kensington's statements on bilateral relations.

They seek cordial relations? They left the diplomatic treaty. Shut down embassies and consulates. As much as gov.bei can cover the needs of the Yeudi People across the world, you have to realise that if one side is not willing...well...what can I say.

Want to maintain cordial relations? Leave the structured frameworks put in place by treaties.

Archaic Museum verifies authenticity of Kundratijan Gem in Kalistan; launches new portal for the Yeudi Heritage

Kaliburg, Kalistan - Earlier this morning, the Office of the Beiteynuese Ambassador to Kalistan in Kaliburg confirmed that the small delegation sent out by the Archaic Museum of Yishelem to an undisclosed location in Eveari, had verified the authenticity of the white Kundratijan Gem that was believed to be in the possession of Kalistan since earlier this year (transferred from Kundrati a few decades ago).

Although Kalistani officials and authorities alike had given the green light for the inspection in April, the extensive security measures put in place required a thorough vetting of the team of the historians who were sent out, which lasted almost the entirety of the summer. The Director of the museum, a liaison from the Agaf and the Beiteynuese Ambassador's Chief of Staff were all part of the vetting process.

The team - and mini-delegation - first met with the Empress in Kaliburg in an informal audience; of the topics discussed were the extensive modern history between Beiteynu and Kundrati (in an attempt to understand the complexities of the events of recent decades), as well as the ancient migrations of the Yeudi People from Beiteynu to North Seleya during the Yeudi Diaspora between the 1200s and 1500s. 

The team also offered some context as to the dispersing of the ancient Benowitz House of the Kadmonim during those centuries, some of which fled to Kundrati, carrying the Kundratijan Gem with them. They also spoke of the Keshef House, the direct descendants of another faction of the Yeudi People (and the Benowitzes) who fled to Valruzia, Keymon and North Seleya.

They shared their long-standing assumptions that 1 of the 8 Gems also passed to Keymon; ultimately to move further north [...].

Already offering a telltale sign that the exquisite white stone was in fact 1 of the 8 Gems of legend, considering that Kalistani experts had already determined its origins not to be of the modern age, the team quickly identified the same traits of craftsmanship that the Birites from Cildania had carried with them during the Qedarite Migrations; the exact same traits as with the 4 of 8 in Wiel and the 2 of 8 in Fort William.

Although text records from 500BCE are obscure and suffering from gaps, it's been verified multiple times that Elior maintained a workshop and was a craftsman in the employ of several elites during the times of Cildanian city states, before of course following Ariel to the West.

A spokesperson from the Agaf in Yishelem complemented the confirmation from Kaliburg with the following statement:

Another piece of the ancestry and heritage of the Yeudi People is found, after thousands and thousands of years. Mere stones, which merely tie us all across time and space; reminding us of our ancient and enduring roots. Their significance in our minds: inexpressible.

At this time, it remains unclear whether the Kundratijan Gem will be displayed for the public, remain in private or even be returned to Beiteynu; several officials, including the Director of the Archaic Museum of Yishelem declined to comment.

Yishelem - A short press release issued by the Agaf 30 minutes ago made immediate headlines in Beiteynuese media, lighting social media ablaze with thousands and thousands of posts, speculations and conspiracy theories (of an impending global adversity through the Ezrahim). Inbound from Fort William, Maria Kadiyot and several agents of the Sohnout Hashaet were evidently part of a special diplomatic mission, one that sees the return of 1 of the 8 Gems to the Yeudi Homeland, for the first time in almost 3000 years since the fall of the Kingdom of Yishelem.

The green Meleh's Gem once adorning the Imperial Crown, supposedly promised by the Private Secretary to the Empress of Luthori to be given to the Kadiyot House earlier this year (according to rumours) touched ground in Bei Elion International Airport this morning.

Speculations across the highest of ranks of the Beiteynuese Government seem to indicate towards a "hiccup", or rather, a "conundrum" last year, allegedly revolving around the affairs of the House of Elior which continued to cast its support to the Jelbic House of Banmek-Sntazed.

Officials with the Beiteynuese Government involved with the mission of retrieving the Meleh's Gem have thus far declined to comment.

It remains unknown where it currently is.

ILN and BNC move in on Artanian Sea amidst ongoing investigation on alleged human rights abuses in Kundrati

Fort William, Luthori - Pursuant to the navy's prior deployment of Kadima IV of the Shahar Fleets and the Yeudi Fleet's 7th, 4th and 1st Flotillas amounting to a total number of 29 warships of the Beiteynuese Naval Command working with the Imperial Luthorian Navy just south and west of Keymon, the Naval Chief announced this morning that both fleets would be moving in towards the Artanian Sea, just southwards of the island of Etxea in Kundrati. The fleets's prior positions will be shortly complemented by the Yishelhafen Fleet's 37th and 35th Flotillas.

A strict order has been given for the fleets not to approach the Kundratijan EEZ nor engage with Kundratijan forces, in any manner. Should any Kundratijan forces attempt to venture outwards, the directive is to issue a warning and back away, with a mandate to avoid conflict at all costs unless and until a 3rd and final Azhara is to be given by the Office of the Rosh HaMemshala.

According to the Naval Chief's statements, the purpose of this (more) forward deployment is to provide a direct facilitation of regional stability in the aftermath of Kundrati's recent civil war, especially concerning trade flowing from, to and in front of Likatonia - the vitality of Fort William's maritime routes are of the outmost importance to both the Imperial Luthorian Navy and the Beiteynuese Naval Command, in equal measure.

Some military officials have expressed concerns over the strain put on the navy, which seems spread wide and thin for tactical deterrent purposes.

The Kohav is reported to have sought the Octagon's mediation insofar as temporary docking rights are concerned in Likatonia, considering Melikvan and Pontesian entrepreneurs have maintained ever increasing ties with the North Seleyan state in recent decades.

The 3rd Point Liaison from Beiteynu also briefly commented on "open and active 3PF channels" between Clovisport and Bannerhafen.

BREAKING NEWS: Nisrad of Himmelshtern issues 2nd Azhara to Xsampa; "vital strategic position", says the Kohav

Himmelshtern, North Bank - It seems that the recent news coming in from Zardugal on a joint aircraft carrier project together with Xsampa have tanked any lingering internal deliberations with the Beiteynuese Government on whether to de-escalate and back down or not since Xsampa's call for reparations issued back in 5589, after a naval stand-off led to an impromptu skirmish earlier that year, with damages on both sides.

The Secretary of the Nisrad of Himmelshtern issued the 2nd Azhara earlier today, with the Agaf and the Nisrad of Yishelem following up with a statement for Xsampa to "cease its antagonising efforts", citing Beiteynu's long-standing strategic interests in the region.

Preliminary findings on who initiated the unauthorised skirmish in 5589 seem to pinpoint to the Beiteynuese firing first after being encircled rather "aggressively" by several Xsampan warships, adding further fuel to the diplomatic tensions with Kanjor, which had recently sided with Xsampa.

Nisrad of Yishelem puts pressure on the PM to issue a 3rd Azhara to Xsampa; BDF put to maximum alert

Yishelem - Following the unfortunate event in Baeguk a few years ago, it seems that bilateral relations - if one can call the now century-old cold war tango "relations" - between Beiteynu and Xsampa reached an all time low in early 5593; the likewise unfortunate timing of the Xsampan Government's demands, deemed irrational and paranoid by the Head of the Agaf Maria Kadiyot herself, came shortly after the issuance of the 2nd Azhara the year prior. Over the last couple of years, most, if not all, high-ranking officials of the Beiteynuese Government have pushed for the 3rd.

However, Sharon Aristocrat-Goldbloom II's cool head of a widely known quantity of the Goldbloom House has thus far prevailed. 

The tipping point came last week when, during a speech at the Amshinov Institute of Technology, the Secretary of the Nisrad of the Yishelem made a feisty jab at Mrs. Aristocrat-Goldbloom for essentially "kowtowing to regional maniacs", asking where would the Yeudi Homeland "draw the line".

Her statements were immediately echoed by both the Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command and the Head of the Kohav - positions historically claimed by rather "trigger happy militarists". Both underlined the fact that the loss of the Yeudi Homeland's hegemony over most of the Red Bass Ocean would "put the final nail in the coffin" of assertiveness beyond the Migrant's Pass.

"We cannot give an inch", the Head of the Kohav commented; "for every inch, is a nail".

Clovisport, Likatonia - The Yeudish Bureau of Investigation's joint case with Likatonian authorities since 5591 reached its conclusion last month, after the authority released a 2783-page redacted document on its findings. The Station Chief of YBI's local office in Clovisport noted yesterday morning that the exhaustive investigation "[we] found no elements of past or current human rights abuses in Kundrati".

The Secretary of the Nisrad of Yishelem extended her outmost appreciation to the Likatonian Government for "unparalleled transparency, efficiency and collaboration", especially as news headlines from around the world blasted Clovisport for its foreign policy on Kundrati.

The Hadrim in Himmelshtern has entered into discussions with both Kundratijan and Likatonian representatives on their entry as observers in the Migrant Accords; "we're eager to welcome both states back into international markets".

The Agaf is reportedly also in negotiations with Kundratijan officials via Likatonia's mediation, on Kundrati's re-entry into the Neset.

A spokesperson from the Kohav stated that the Beiteynuese Naval Command would maintain its deployments in the Artanian Sea and is currently working with representatives from both Kundrati and Likatonia to discuss permanent collaboration.

"It is imperative that in the aftermath of the devastating strife in Kundrati, there is no further risk to regional stability", he concluded.

A tenured professor from Yishelem responded on social media by calling the Beiteynuese Government "a bunch of hypocrites". His post picked up momentum, especially in Canrillaise and Gaduri lobbying groups who re-posted sarcastically citing "Dorvish realpolitik".

Several pro-Jelbic and pro-Canrillaise officials in the Beiteynuese Government echoed the professor's sentiment.

It seems that re-opening the doors of Beiteynuese-Kundratijan relations does not sit well with many.

Yishelem, Endild - Yesterday evening, after she convened and presided a meeting of the national cabinet, Rosh Ha'memshala (RH) Sharon Aristocrat-Goldbloom abruptly called a press conference in which she announced, to the Homeland and Terra, that Beiteynu has issued to the Government of Xsampa, defined as a 'rogue state' among other things, the third and final Azhara - meaning that a state of war between our Homeland, and the Xsampans is now only a single step away. The reasons of this are clear, according to Ms. Aristocrat-Goldbloom: the RH said this a was a difficult but necessary measure to protect Yeudism Terra-wide, "a measure that can't be executed just like that", she said.
She was probably referring at some people who - perhaps unwisely - called on this action to be executed earlier, but in an exceptional show of strength among pressure, our RH maintained her cool and proceded in a proper manner to handle this crisis. Now, the RH and the Defense Ministry - together to other Beiteynuese leaders - will form a task force to resolve this crisis in the fastest time possible, to avoid repating the horrors of the 'Lost Souls' war.
