Dorvish Palaces, Haldor - Odacer von Vinisk, the newly elected Prasident der Volksrepublik has announced that today he would set out to reform the powers of the President and the powers of the Chanecellor alongside the parties currently in the Volkskammer to ensure that Dorvik keeps alongside the rest of Terra in making sure that the President or the Chancellor doesn't become a tyrant. Odacer von Vinisk, second son of the royal family of Vinisk of the Dorvish Emperors has stated that while he maintains a love for the monarchy in Dorvik, he is truly passionate about the people and the workers in Dorvik. In recent months he has seen himself as a tie between the new "Petrovism" and the Dorvish Catholic Church headed by Archbishop Theodore Hershel.

Dorvish Palaces, Haldor - In a return to the Government, the Communist Party of Dorvik voted in a new cabinet, the first cabinet since the dissolution of the Communist Party and it's refounding under General Secretary Lothar Faust. Lothar Faust commented on the newly elected government by stating "It's a victorious day for Dorvik and it's people. We thank the people and the workers for supporting us in all of our adventures, we seek to keep in government. We also would like to welcome the Volk für die Reklamation von Dorvik (People for the Reclamation of Dorvik) and the Volkspartei.".

Dorvish Palaces, Haldor - In another dominating election, the Communist Party of Dorvik has prevailed, in a showing of passion and strength, supporters of the KPD rallied all over Dorvik today to celebrate their momentous victory. Lothar Faust, current Chancellor and General Secretary of KPD hailed it a victory for the ages and a victory for the people. Chancellor Faust went as far as to thank the Catholic Political Union and the People's Party for their tough efforts to attempt to defeat the KPD. Chancellor Faust has promised that he will work with all parties on resolving the economic recession that has gripped Dorvik and many other countries.

CPD National HQ, Vinisk - After being contacted by the Liberal Urban Party of the Holy Ranz'riah Empire of Queranzári Kafuristan the Communist Party of Dorvik has released a statement supporting them in their efforts against the Armed Nation of Saridan. Lothar Faust, General Secretary of the Communist party of Dorvik has stated that "Any party which advocates in the name of socialism, communism or other leftist belief system and harms people and destroys peace is not a member of the ideology we call communism. I will stand on that belief until death. The KPD puts their support behind the LUP."

Dorvish Palaces, Haldor - In a striking move the Volkspartei, a typically center-right political party within the Volkskammer der Dorvik has decided to align itself with the Kommunistische Party Dorvik in a shocking move to counter the resurgent Revolutionären Volkspartei which captured 213 seats in the snap election of October 3119 after the long-time running political powerhouse Katholic Politistische Union dissolved. Lothar Faust and a representative from the Volkspartei were seen shaking hands and discussing the current governments goals and agenda. KPD First Secretary Tyrus Petrov gave a press conference while the meeting between the two was transpiring. "We've gotten ourselves back into government, and though the supporters didn't show that much support for us in this election we cannot deny them their popular wishes. We haven't had any contact with the Revolutionären Volkspartei since they dissolved after our return. What I can say is that I hope new party leadership has stepped in and we can work towards a revived partnership...if not, the Volkspartei is willingly offering their hand to the workers and people of Dorvik. We respect their courage and resiliency in these trying times." The speech concluded as Lothar Faust and the VP Representative were seen walking out to vehicles to dine at a downtown restaurant were they were followed. Lothar Faust has yet to speak of this event.

In the press report given from the state press secretary the KPD were given the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministries of Science and Technology and Trade and Industry.

In other news the Malivian Raja was assassinated by a terrorist attack, the Dorvik Foreign Ministry has issued a statement of condolences and has asked that the international community show compassion towards Malivia and their people during these mourning time. A member of the KPD was overheard stating that this could be the spark that "ignited the start of a continental war...."

Dorvish Palaces, Haldor - In another stunning move, the Kommunistische Partei Dorvik garnered a dominating supermajority in the Volkskammer after the snap election spurred on by the recently dissolved Revolutionary People's Partry. However, Lothar Faust, the General Secretary of the KPD and the new Chancellor did not forget those who supported him when the threat of the RPP returned, sharing the major Ministries of Finance and Justice with them. When asked by numerous interviewers about his choice to share the cabinet with the Volkspartei, Lothar Faust responded: "The People's Party has displayed that they can work with us and we can work with them, I can promise you that we will disagree on certain situations and policies but in that we will find a better Dorvik, a better place for our people. The recent work that they've done with the economy is unsurmountable, they've helped Dorvik regain it's economic foothold on the world."

CPD National HQ, Vinisk - Lothar Faust met today with former General of the Kampfgruppen der Arbeiter (Battlegroups of the workers) Nikolai Ivanov to discuss possible re-activation of certain KdA divisions to be sent to fight alongside the People's Revolutionary Army in the Second Darnussian Democratic Republic. Although this would be highly illegal Lothar Faust was quoted as saying "If they condemn me for supporting liberty and democracy then so be it." Faust, a staunch supporter of Petrovism is currently serving his second term as Chancellor of the People's Republic of Dorvik.

Dorvish Palaces, Haldor - Today, September 7th, 3124, Lothar Faust with the consent of President Odacer von Vinisk has declared war on the Dundorfies Reich, the country which was once a close ally of Dorvik. The DR was once a democratic nation which was run by parties who knew how to keep democracy right and true. However with the emergence of the new "National Socialist Movement" a new period of claimed racial superiority and renewed racism, the once powerful national ties were severed.

Elections Held: Titov Addresses Party Faithful

Elections were held today, the first that Vereinigt Dorvik have participated in since their registration one year ago. Garnering 11.01% of the total vote, Vereinigt Dorvik has established itself as a minor party in this electoral cycle as it struggles to raise party visibility under Dorvik's "20 Proposals per Party" laws. Vereinigt Dorvik now holds 60 of the 500 seats, not quite enough for it to be able to propose an informal coalition with the ideologically liberal Volkspartei. Speaking to party contributors this morning, Presidential Candidate Ilya Titov has heralded a new age in Dorvik politics as Dorvish citizens warm up to a business-focused "steam train".

Vereinigt Dorvik stands alone as the country's economically liberal representation in the Volkskammer. Kommunistische Partei Dorvik, who has been coalition government with Volkspartei for some years now is expected to continue present arrangements in the Cabinet. Asked whether he would consider accepting some form of "unity government" if ever offered, Titov said they he wouldn't... calling them "ideologically incompatible with the primary values of Vereinigt Dorvik". He has also promising a tirade of Opposition to the country's involvement in the Darnussian Civil War and promising to withdraw troops if his party ever won government.

Volkspartei leaves Coalition, Denounces Darnussian Intervention

In a move that surprised the nation, Finance Minister and leader of the Volkspartei Pieter Vanhanen has anounced that the Volkspartei has resigned their positions within the KPD/VP Coalition Government with immediate effect. Although this was long expected - political strategists knew that Mr Vanhanen had higher ambitions than Finance Minister, and that his party wanted to be more than a constant junior partner - the reason for the resignation was something nobody expected. Mr Vanhanen declared he had been manipulated by his once Communist Allies into supporting the intervention in Darnussia when it came up for vote. He felt betrayed, and announced - in line with United Dorvik's declaration earlier this year - that if the Volkspartei forms the next Government, they will ensure peace in Darnussia, and that all Dorvikian troops are pulled out.

On top of this reason, Mr Vanhanen also mentioned that the stark ideological differences between the VP and the KPD had brought tension to the coalition for years, and recently - with a KPD majority - he had considered resigning many times, indeed the VP Executive had voted on it. This revelation, he said, was the final straw. Mr Vanhanen said he would soon call for the KPD to resign, to dissolve Parliament and let the people mull over this announcement, but until then looked forward to the next election, when he hopes to form the next Government and be the first VP Chancellor since Mariah Tessel from 3119-3120.
