Temporary security measures in place, all Davostager migration halted until crisis resolved!

Our glorious comrade Lazar reported this evening that according to internal security reports, immigration and emigration for Davostagers is to be halted after alleged reports of traitors within the nation exporting state secrets and attempts by foreign powers to infiltrate the regime, especially within Jildrath where it has been proven after the foiled bomb plot that Etxea seeks to undermine our fatherland! VGAB, the new mining companies which have constructed numerous new facilities all over the nation have been placed under temporary Commissariat control, they will continue to manage all financial and managerial tasks while the internal security service monitors any clandestine activity and to help protect our allies assets from the foul nations of Kalistan and the Hutori pirates. Comrade Lazar stated he hoped the situation would be resolved soon, and that he had personally come to view the Davostagers as kindred spirits with Kundrati and personally promised he would oversee the crisis in action, and urged free trade to resume.

Furthermore, Curfews nationwide will be placed in effect for the next few months as the situation is cracked down on, all those outside doors from 1200-0500 Hours without proper commissariat slips will be arrested and questioned, new civilian identification papers are to be issued alongside existing ones with new retinal scan & blood type requirements. BREAKING NEWS: Legionary bandits fire large ICBM east of the Free Zone

The Ministry of Defense of the Kundrati Union has confirmed that earlier today, an ICBM was launched somewhere outside the Free Zone, which managed to fly through Etxea and land around 85 miles off Etxea within the Free Zone. The missile triggered air raid sirens and notifications, causing widespread alarm throughout the Free Zone of the Kundrati Union, with many seeking shelter or turning off the road and hiding wherever possible.

The Ministry of Defense has also noted that state media outside the Free Zone said that there was no payload inside the ICBM missile and that the missile strike was an attempt to intimidate the population of the Free Zone and the rest of Terra to avoid the Free Zone. After confirmation that the missile had landed away from the island, the air raid sirens and notifications were lifted. No nearby ships were directly affected by the missile's impact. However, a few boats in neighboring areas reported hearing an explosion and waves being pushed further out by a bit more than usual.

Social media throughout the island has seen numerous posts expressing fear that this could be a new sign that the Legionary bandits are planning to use ICBMs to strike the island and punish it for daring to be outside their reach. We are proud to say that the bandits remain outside the control of the Free Zone. However, the President, Tiberius Claudius Nero, did say in a televised speech throughout the island that although the bandits may possess ICBMs, the island has more bravery and guts than that of Mr. Lazar. The President urged calm and said that they would fight to their last breath to prevent the Free Zone from falling to the bandits. The party leaders of Aliantza, the Party for the Rejuvenation of the Kundrati Nation, and the National Kundrati Party have all condemned the ICBM tests and introduced bills with the Kundrati People's Party (led by the President) to unanimously denounce the ICBM attack.

The President will speak to their Hutorian counterparts as a result of this attack. Meetings have, coincidentally, been scheduled for sometime soon with Davostag, a now former economic partner of the Legionary bandits. The Foreign Ministry has not yet commented on the developments between Davostag and the bandits.

President Tiberius Claudius Nero and Prime Minister Olivia Hall of Luthori meet

Prime Minister of Luthori Olivia Hall met President Tiberius Claudius Nero this week at the President's House in Jildrati City. The meeting comes as Luthori starts to expand in the Artanian and Terran sphere after a decade of silence and backpedaling.

Luthori and Kundrati have a special relationship, after all it was Luthori that liberated the Kundrati Union from Ordosocialist scum and forced them out of the island of Etxea, now the Free Zone of the Kundrati Union. From there, Luthori occupied the island as the island transformed into the liberal democracy it now is. The occupation ended long ago, but now there is reason in the Free Zone for people to appreciate Luthori.

Thus, in this environment and right after the ICBM attack that the Ordosocialist scum have done upon us, the Prime Minister of Luthori Olivia Hall promised to visit Etxea for her first visit. The Prime Minister's plane landed on the tarmac in Jildrati City early in the week and her entourage took a tour throughout the island showcasing the continued expansion of ESK housing blocks and continued works on power plants, farmland, and infrastructure. The tour was led by the Governor of Etxea. The tour was thorough and the environment was positive throughout both entourages that Luthori could help Etxea economically to help supplement Romulo Fund funds which has helped the Free Zone remain solvent.

The President met his counterpart after the tour, which took two days, and various negotiations were held between both sides. What was agreed on would be announced on the final day, however from sources inside the Government the agreement would be huge for Kundrati-Luthori relations.

The day after, a state banquet was held at the 17 December Convention Hall in downtown Jildrati City. In the banquet various singers performed traditional Kundrati music and various songs popular in Luthori and Kundrati. The banquet also served various fishes and foodstuffs popular in Kundrati alongside some pintxos as appetizers. Wine from Luthori was served dated from the Invasion of the Homeland alongside various wines from years important to the Kundrati Union.

The banquet ended with a tour of Jildrati City and a dancing ball in the evening at the Jildrati City Transit Centre which was closed for the event. It was announced that due to the Kundrati Union's win in FOMAT, that they will now host FOMAT in Etxea in 5643 for the 30th anniversary of the Invasion. There were even some photos and videos taken of the Prime Minister and the President dancing to some classical tunes. Another dance, this time with the First Lady of the Kundrati Union, the President, the Prime Minister and her First Gentleman, went viral on social media.

The final day was the announcement which was held in western Etxea at a war memorial to the Invasion of the Homeland. The agreement was announced:

• increasing the number of soldiers of the Luthorian Armed Forces inside the Free Zone who will assist with defense and train the Kundrati Armed Forces on various defensive methods
  
• allowing Kundrati troops to train in Luthori and in Luthorian Armed Forces grounds via various initiatives and programs with Luthorian soldiers
  
• a monetary aid package to supplement Romulo Fund funds which will be allocated towards continued expansion of housing
  
• a large arms shipment and package including numerous tanks, armored vehicles, planes, guns, ammo and more
  
• providing soldiers to the Luthorian "Legion of Dove" and providing soldiers and assistance for Luthori for anti-fascist military initiatives, including armed conflicts
  
• allowing Luthori to set up "Radio Free Terra" and any associated radio stations on Etxean soil alongside providing permission to allow office space and studio space to be used for Radio Free Terra in exchange for Etxean journalists and journalist students being hired and mentored by RFT
  

More information on these points will be provided later, but for now the Prime Minister and her entourage left with amicable relations between the Free Zone and Luthori.

Capital Renamed, Five Year Plan Results!

Former Kaesama, the name itself being of a bygone era of degeneracy and profligacy has been renamed by glorious comrade Lazar to Legionaria, all hail the new capital of our nation, let all nations of the world tremble before our resolve!

The five year plan has been a momentous success, industrial departments report that Peghonai dockyards are now complete and will soon begin rebuilding our naval forces, infrastructure across the nation has been rebuilt repairing pre-war damages and expanding roadways and railways for the good of the Kundrati people. 89% of households now maintain household victory gardens, as well as the finishing of dozens of underground agricultural production centers for sustainable crops which can via UV lighting be sustained. Agricultural production is expected to see a 27% increase for future harvests, and finally the fortification line of south Jildrath is finished. 200 bunkers with 40 heavy fortification centers with 380mm heavy naval guns have been installed to resist any foreign invasion and provide future artillery support for the liberation of Extea, 850 miles of barbed wire deployed with an additional 200 miles of trench networks dug to defend our fatherland from foreign invasion.

Supreme comrade Lazar announced to the people that the Kundrati nuclear programme approaches its final stages as preliminary testing for a full launch arrives in the following year, fulfilling the dreams of eternal comrade Sladek and securing our nation for 10,000 years!

BREAKING NEWS: President Tiberius Claudius Nero lives, and numerous Cabinet members are assassinated as riots break out throughout Etxea

It is a day in infamy.

Explosions rocked the Presidential Office Building in northeastern Jildrati City this afternoon as numerous individuals managed to storm the building, killing soldiers and guards and leaving a scene of carnage. Windows on all sides were broken. Parts of the building collapsed. An armored car and four people dead with injuries so bad we legally can't show the carnage. Defensive walls were destroyed in many areas. Not to mention the inside.

Soldiers and guards were unable to fend off the intruders, as the intruders were reportedly armed with RPGs, military-grade weapons, and protective gear. It is not known how they arrived, yet it is clear how they got in as, reportedly, there weren't many guards on the grounds who were trained for this situation. And it was this situation that got them killed.

Helicopters took off from the scene, though it was unknown who was inside them. The smoke from earlier did not help with identifying who was in which helicopter, but it was clear that there was some evacuation going on amongst the chaos.

When the carnage was over, numerous troops, tanks, helicopters, and armored vehicles had secured the area. Soldiers began to patrol the area and were reportedly conducting patrols and manning checkpoints throughout Jildrati City with the hope of finding those responsible for this heinous act.

However, social media popped up with footage from inside the building. The results were extreme. Gore was the common theme, with many bodies injured so much that, according to many posts, it felt like a war zone. Many had shrapnel injuries, some were covered in gore, and it was clear that many people had died and many more were injured, from aides to office workers to guards and soldiers to guests and people on tours.

Then came the news, which was made clear by social media posts. The Minister of Energy, the Minister of Education, the Minister of Health and Human Services, and the Minister of Justice had passed away in the onslaught. Their bodies had an ear cut off amongst the mountains of blood and guts that covered their bodies. It was clear the intruders enjoyed killing these. Social media posts were covered with photos and videos of their bodies and the bodies of many who were killed before them and the damage to the building at the end. No word on the President's condition, however, had come, and there were rumors throughout the day that the President himself was amongst the dead.

Riots broke out upon hearing the news, with many people targetting businesses, apartment buildings, and houses known to be occupied by Delics and people who immigrated from the Legionary bandits. At least 9 people have died in these, and another 59 were injured as a result of these riots, which cost around 328 million Kuno in damage. Fires broke out throughout the city as people were reportedly angry over the whole situation and wanted revenge and blood against those who were considered "traitorous Legionairy bandits". The military was ordered to stop these riots and arrest as many rioters as possible, which helped to calm the situation. The Jildrati City Fire Department was overwhelmed with calls as well.

Later on in the day, however, the President of the Kundrati Union Tiberius Claudius Nero, the heads of each of the military branches, the entire remaining members of the Cabinet, and the head of the Etxean Garrison Command forces protecting the Free Zone were spotted on television. The President made a short statement, which shall be repeated below:

Fellow Kundrati. I am safe. We are safe. It is extremely clear who is responsible for this evil act. And we will live to the very end despite the bandits who attempt to sow chaos in our fatherland. And if I die, I know the Union will live. We are all united for the restoration of the Kundrati Union on all Kundrati lands. They may try and kill us off. Yet we shall live. And I say to the Legion: we will fight back harder than you will know. And I say to the international community: hear the pleas of the Kundratis who live under the Legion's thumb. We shall fight back to retake our lands. And a democratic Kundrati Union is a responsible Kundrati. I urge you to help us in this mission. Thank you.

The President has decreed a mourning period for the rest of the month with a state funeral granted to the fallen Ministers and funeral costs to be paid for all persons who died today in the Legionary attack. The President will visit the Presidential Office Building tomorrow with a team of media and cameras and give a tour of the building. Reportedly, now there are plans to turn the building into a memorial to all who died under the Legion's thumb alongside a museum to the horrors of Legionary rule.

Homeland crisis resolved, Davostag Agreement renegotiated, Naval construction begins

After negotiations with the comrades of Davostag, having found the situation to be resolved with many agents of Hutori being arrested, the great leader Lazar has decided to remove restrictions on Davostager transit after a 6 month background check period, and as well as removed commissariat oversight into Davostag investments.

The Peghonai Dockyards have finally been finished after 280,000 laborers finished construction, naval production of a dozen vessels has begun as we strive to rebuild our navy for the glory of the fatherland. Our aircraft carrier than participated in the destruction of the satantic naval forces of Kalistan has been refitted and will stand as the flagship of the new Legionary navy, nicknamed the SS Sladek in memory of our eternal comrade.

Shock as leaked documents in Etxea label terms for attempted coup!

The rebel state of Etxea awaiting the loving embrace of the fatherland has recently undertaken a false flag attack in which members of their own military attempted to coup the Etxean government while claiming to be a Legionary lead engagement, in cahoots with Luthorian backed terrorists during which they revealed documents which later would have been used to justify a military takeover had the would be president Tiberius have been assassinated. The document titled "Government Defense Paper: On The Safety and Continuity of Government." reveals information confirming the government has allowed the ability in case of the strike that occured by Luthori backed Extean military terrorists to take control of the rebel state from the failed president. This suggests the military is vying for control and is likely to launch further attempts to destabilize the island, once the Legion under comrade Lazar reunify the nation such issues will cease to exist, but until then we at the Legionnaire can simply watch as the rebels implode on themselves in self consuming anarchy.
