Tel Bira, Adishut Nisrad - Although the Adishut Nisrad's (City State of Tel Bira) decision to join the Kalistani-authored Non-Aligned Movement, or NAM, has been in the works even before former Prime Minister Maria Kadiyot's stepdown in 5608, what surprised investment firms and hedge funds more was the administration's passing of a rather controversial and noticeably unpopular policy with the middle and lower classes.

The Financial Services Code of Conduct & Unilateral Coded Fiscal Policy of Fiduciary Responsibility & Keshef, Asset, Bonds and Wealth Management Agreement, or "Beidel Mark" for short (we have no idea who named this), is a policy that, simply put, slashes taxes for corporations and holders of assets (i.e. real estate, bonds, shares) declared in Tel Bira, with a 150-year insurance guarantee by the Central Bank of Amudim itself.

The goal: to keep a sharply declining and continuously more irrelevant financial industry afloat, especially after Ashalon Bank BEIFG, one of the hallmarks of global Yeudi banking, saw its market cap slashed by a whopping 17.3% following Hutori's declaration of war.

Himmelshtern, Narikaton and Darnussia - Several officials, scholars and prominent figures from all walks of private life made claims against Himmelshtern's decision to sell multiple ICBM / IRBM capable warships as "playing with fire" and "dangerously irresponsible", with Altea caught in the cross-fire as one of the "highest bidders" who have already assigned multiple defence contracts to Equifund companies like Sato, Biraero and Kadenite - notorious makers of ballistic missiles and related weapons systems - echoing the not-so-distant incident in Metz-Leonid rather sharply.

South Dovani snatches Jelbic made, nuclear powered, Yeudicho IRBM packing submarine in "bargain deal"

Himmelshtern, Narikaton and Darnussia - A surprise bidder went home with a flashy new toy, courtesy of a bygone hegemonic era of the Jelbic-Yeudi alliance in West Majatra, in last week's first round of a multi-round bidding auction hosted by military command in Himmelshtern. Vetted extensively, according to both Amudim's and the 3rd Point's protocols, the mysterious gentlemen barely made a sweat in snatching it up.

We asked a naval officer on the quality of the submarine:

Fairly new. This Froahiko-class submarine was manufactured 12 years ago as part of the 3rd Point's continuous procurement deals made with our Jelbic friends in Wiel. [leans in and whispers] We're technically not supposed to re-sell them.

Eroncourt, Lourenne - Last month's official introduction of an extensive cooperation between Egelion and Xsampa changed the tides in Keris and Dovani with the EESE closing last week on a positive note after months of turmoil. The closing bell marked what many have already surmised about the East's position in recent years; regional troubles in some parts of Dovani have barely made a dent compared to the loud echoes of the multilateral conflict in Central Artania, which has been dragging on for the last few decades, involving countries outside of Artania itself.

Realistically speaking, investors would not have been throwing so much weight on Eastern markets, however, the dragged out failures of the West and the Ananto Empire in regards to the situation in Artania has steadily eroded confidence, especially as Tel Bira continues to battle its domestic issues.

In regards to the scathing statements issued by Kalistan and their rather public and noisy announcement that the Kundratijan Gem will never return to the Holy Land, the Secretary of the Adishut Nisrad and high-ranking government officials both in Tel Bira and Himmelshtern have remained "baffled", largely avoiding to comment and only expressing their confusion and sadness at Kaliburg's stance.

The Secretary of the Union herself called Kalistani statements "an affront of the likes of Dorvik that Yeudis are all too familiar with".

Nisrads sign official surrender to Xsampa

Yishelem - Decades in the making after both the nuclear attack on Metz-Leonid in 5599 and former Prime Minister Maria Kadiyot's step down and the official dissolution of the Homeland State of Beiteynu in 5608, Yishelem's last remaining droplets of resistance finally evaporated yesterday afternoon, as the unprecedented pressure from across the aisle resulted in a final and rather exhausting 12-hour closed doors session.

Part of the agreement between all Nisrads stipulates that Tel Bira will act as the intermediary in all negotiations between Xsampa and the rest of the 6 city states, should Metz-Leonid decide to accept the surrender and sit on the table.

Although still unexpected, the recent Lion-Yak treaty marking a change of pace in global affairs is assumed to have made the final push.

The agreement essentially ends the unofficial state of war still in effect between Xsampa and Amudim, on behalf of the latter.

Naval procurement officer Commander Oren Mok-Swaab found dead in hotel room

Yishelem - The head of the recent fire sale of naval materiel has been found dead in a hotel room in the old town district of Yishelem. Police have refused to comment extensively on the case, saying the investigation is ongoing. The body was found this morning by hotel staff at the illustrious Kochav Hizhav (Gold Star) hotel in one of the consular suites at the top floor. Unconfirmed sources have claimed the body of Commander Mok-Swaab was not the only one found and that copious amounts of drugs and alcohol were present.

The death of the procurement officer comes as another blow for Himmelshtern after the politburo of Soviet Wrnuke announced it would take legal steps over the alleged sale of a Jelbic submarine to South Dovani. Officials in Himmelshtern refused to comment on the situation.

For now the police is unwilling to rule out foul play. Relatives of Mok-Swaab painted him as a loyal family man that did not drink nor do drugs, with his brother calling the alleged circumstances of his death "extremely suspicious".

Nisrads accept Xsampan terms of surrender; strict non-aggression pact to be formulated and signed

Tel Bira, Adishut Nisrad - With virtually no leverage at hand, continuous financial turmoils domestically and across the Neset and very merciful, generous and reasonable terms demanded by Xsampa last month, there was no wiggle room for any objections during last weekend's negotiation session between all 7 of the city states of Amudim in Tel Bira.

However, a small hiccup almost turned the whole thing on its head on Monday morning, when the Secretary of the Yishelem Nisrad resigned in protest, considering how the remaining city states demanded that Yishelem be the one to lead the public apology ritual in Metz-Leonid. The issue was quickly resolved after the Deputy Secretary signed the internal agreement by Monday afternoon.

Thus, all city states will send a representative to Metz-Leonid, as part of Xsampa's terms of surrender including a public apology.

Insofar as the non-aggression pact is concerned, of the harshest terms demanded are the forced neutrality and non-intervention policy in the entirety of Dovani, as well as extensive monitoring clauses to be enforced by Xsampa, regarding military activity in the Red Bass Ocean.

With the latter essentially costing Amudim its final drops of supremacy in the region; the reason Beiteynu had fought the war in the first place.

Although the non-aggression pact was pretty much straightforward, the topic of reparations, however, met quite a few roadblocks.

In the absence of a central government after the dissolution of the Homeland State of Beiteynu, fiscal policy was left to individual city states. Ordinarily, that would not have posed a problem save but the extensive optics damage done by Yishelem during the war with Xsampa. Sholemberg's, Himmelshtern's and Hofesh's continuously declining state of industrial shipping has increased their trade and commercial deficits in the face of a Neset that has either redirected its volumes to other countries or has lost leverage with other countries itself.

Despite rate cuts and injections of liquidity by the Saham and Central Bank of Amudim in Tel Bira, former Beiteynu's extreme reliance on foreign money has left city states exposed to the massive cracks of debt accumulation, making access to cash extremely difficult.

Tel Bira has offered a few alternatives for Metz-Leonid: reparations in arrears, to be paid over the course of the next 62 years, selling of multiple Amudimim assets and unprecedented access to Amudimim industrial, industrial shipping and energy infrastructure; with the latter, Tel Bira is essentially offering Xsampa a gateway in the Holy Land to export its products and services to the West.
