Tenzin Fortier wins elections; The first Independent Premier as CPX-EPP Coalition forms.
--------------------------
February 19th, 5650
--------------------------
To say this result was a surprise, comrades, is nothing short of an understatement. For the first time in Xsampa's history, an independent has managed to win election. As such, the governing coalition will consist of the CPX and the EPP. This Green-Red Coalition will have the unique challenge of keeping Comrade Fortiers eccentricity on a leash. In his inaugural speech (linked below), Comrade Tenzin vowed to curb the debt issue by outproducing the debt and protecting the sovereignty of the Xsampan revolution. Combined with the CPX and EPP joining the coalition, we can expect more support for the Red-Green Revolution, and the moderate stability in the government.
In terms of seat counts, the CPX fell from 241 to 327. Not too bad, but still a juggernaut. The SLP managed to gain no seats, not lose any seats, staying firmly at 171. Being an independent, Comrade Tenzin also joins PAX with one seat. Similar to the XFL. The DPP fell from 3 seats to 2 seats ironically enough despite their apologies. The FLP fell from 43 seats to 41. But the most unique winners in this election are the SWP, EPP and SD. With SD going from 8 seats to 15, this is their highest vote count yet! For the EPP, this is also their highest as they went from 51 seats to 57. And the SWP went from 39 to 47.
As the victors celebrate and a new government forms, Xsampa is likely to be unique with this new administration, but we trust Comrade Fortier to bring results.
Quote:
Comrades!
Today is a great, big, beautiful day. Today is the day Xsampa becomes even greater than it already is. You, the beautiful Xsampan people, the hardworking, lovely, socialist, people of Xsampa have elected me. Opponents, they said it couldn't be done, they really said that but they're wrong. They said it couldn't be done. No independent could ever be elected. But I did it, you did it. By voting for me. Mostly me, but you helped out too comrades! Xsampa is ready for a new era of greatness. We're going to eliminate the debt by outproducing it. We're going to make new jobs and industries that you won't even know where to apply because you'll have plenty of options. You're going to love it. The economist's, the talkers, the experts, they said it can't be done. They wrote articles! With footnotes! All wrong! They're going to watch on the sidelines as we make Xsampa productive again, and bring more greatness to our socialist haven. We'll get textile factories, it'll be so great. Green factories, smart factories, maybe even floating ones. I don't know, we'll look into it. We'll make the debt go away that Xsampa will lead the world, it'll be amazing comrades, truly. The working class, you all built this country from the ground up and this time, you're going to fly luxury with this administration. They come up to me and say, comrade comrade, we've given you the keys to the ship, sail us to prosperity and I say fantastic. I'm the best pilot in the history of pilots in maybe ever. An era of greatness for our country is ahead.

Beginning efforts to outproduce the debt; Reverse Austerity as Comrade Fortier says.
------------------------------------
June 24th, 5650
------------------------------------
Austerity. Political suicide in Xsampa, and unfortunately common usage in the West. Yet for Comrade Fortier, it's an opportunity to redefine it. Before you grab your signs comrade, no. Comrade Fortier isn't looking to gut everything. In his usual eccentric nature, he has proposed reverse austerity. Or put more understandably, outproducing the debt. As such, the state will begin phase 1 of Comrade Fortiers "Big Beautiful Plan". Phase 1 will focus on identifying inefficiencies, redirecting resources and preparing the economy to adequately handle such acceleration.
But what does this exactly entail? Great question, comrade. It means the start of a national audit. A full review of all industries, co-ops and social enterprises. The focus will be on output vs capacity, technology gaps, labour mismatches and underemployment. All worker councils will be required to submit a monthly report highlighting of any inefficiencies are occuring. The goal is to outline which areas need care, which ones are fine as is, and where resources need to be moved. The goal is to learn why factories are idle 20% of the time or if they even are sitting idle.
Furthermore, worker task forces to quickly provide support. For the duration of phase 1 of the Big Beautiful Plan, they will be responsible for focusing on helping underperforming industries identified in the audit. These task forces will consist of engineers to focus on logistics and maintenance, labour organizers to focus on morale and cooperation with local unions, state bureaucrats to ensure smooth funding, support and communication, and union representatives to prevent conflict between independent unions and the state.
Alongside this, the Debt to Output Index. The People's Committee of Economic Management will be responsible for tracking, calculating and monitoring how much Xsampa spends in terms to how much it makes. Debt is nothing to be ashamed of. Unlike capitalist hawks who foam at the mouth about debt and are quick to gut social institutions to satiate their endless greed, debt is a sign that we've been making great strides. Too fast, but is suffering from success a bad thing? Just like past challenges, we too shall overcome this issue. Besides, not every worker needs a degree in economics to understand this issue. The PCEM will make sure of that. As such, Local Committees will be worked with to ensure the DOI is visible (such as billboards). Comrade Fortier has even contributed in Metz-Leonid, with an upside down debt chart, claiming that we're going to enter prosperity. No direct quote will be made available.
But more is always needed. The People's Committee of Economic Management will also have the task of creating the Resource Reallocation Registry. The goal of the RRR is to determine what industries need resources, what don't, and where to redistribute them. Idle equipment can go to communes and co-ops that need it. Surplus labour can go to growing industries. Overproduced goods can go to areas facing shortages or at risk. Alongside monthly reports, weekly reports will be requested.
Comrade Fortier has made it a big case to ensure that the public is on board, looking to challenge traditional western ideals of debt being a shameful thing. He has also been looking to rally confidence, claiming that "we will outproduce the debt so hard that it'll apply for work". Despite his eccentricity, many Xsampans seem to like his unorthodox method. Phase 1 of the Big Beautiful Plan is set to begin.

The Vow of Compassion; The creation of the Tsokpa Tsadren.
--------------------------
December 24th, 5650
--------------------------
Utopia. To some, it's impossible. To others, it's the status quo. In Xsampa? Its a dream. It may not be realistically achievable, but we most certainly can, and will try our best to achieve that. One of the key tenets of Participatory Metzism is ending human suffering wherever possible, and bettering the human condition. Unfortunately, we realistically cannot solve all human suffering, even when we try our best. Poverty exists beyond our borders. Beyond Dovani. Tyranny and fascism exists beyond our borders. Bigotry and oppression exists beyond our borders. Suffering exists beyond our borders. Some of these, are solvable. But when faced with the question of, "what of the ill?", the answers get short. This is one thing we cannot solve unfortunately. The terminally ill. It goes without saying that this is one tragedy of life that we've yet to conquer. We cannot solve it. But it doesn't mean we can't try to make things as good as we can for the terminally ill.
That is why, in a unanimous decision, PAX passes the Vow of Compassion.
Quote:We vow to confront suffering, whether it may exist, to ease it where we can, and to never turn our backs when we cannot.
We vow that the frail will never be forgotten, the dying will never be alone, the grieving shall not be left in silence. We vow that our hands will reach for one another in all times of pain, that our wealth and knowledge will serve life, not abandon it.
We vow to try. No matter the cost.
The Vow of Compassion isn't an instant solution. But it's a promise. The mission of socialism doesn't stop at liberation. It stops at ending all suffering. Even the suffering we can't end. For the terminally ill, we do our best for them, because it is right. The People's Committee of Health will do its best to ensure that where suffering may exist for the terminally ill, it is minimized and reduced as best as possible. Special facilities, where they may enjoy their final days in peace, and comfort. Whether it be by nature, loved ones, or close to home. Specially trained carers, artists, and therapists will be available to assist. These facilities will not be homes of death or misery. But homes of joy. However brief that may be.
But suffering never stops. It's a cruel and fickle thing. As such, the People's Committee of Health will find itself with a new subcommittee. The Sub-Committee of Mental, Psychological, and Spiritual Health. The SCMPSH will be solely responsible for handling all affairs related to mental health, and psychological health, instead of being an umbrella handling for the PCH. The SCMPSH will be responsible for providing grief counselors and psychologists. Every family, especially the terminally ill, deserve the right to have space to process their emotions. Whether it's bittersweet joy, anger, fear, or grief.
To that end, we must guarantee, or at least try to guarantee a childhood free of suffering. For the terminally ill, lofty guarantees aren't capable of solving suffering. Only action is. Full rights will be granted to morphine, creative pain management, and, should worse come to worse and preventing suffering is not possible, compassionate end of life care. For the sake of readers who are faint of heart, we shall leave this vague. All we will say is, the families will have priority choice.
Even in their final months of life, they deserve happiness. They deserve to see their wishes come true when life snatches it away so cruelly. As such, the Last Wish Cooperative will be formed. A collection of artists, transport workers, chefs, and volunteers who have one goal. Grant the wish of the terminally ill. Make their dream come true. Whether it be seeing the mountains in the North, seeing the Sovereign Sea, dancing with their heros or anything. We owe them that much at least.
When they do pass, the goal of ending suffering doesn't stop. For those who lost loved ones to terminal illness, the Tsokling will step up. Terminal Family Leave. No parent or guardian should ever be forced to debate between work or spending precious time with their loved one because of a loophole ok the Tsokling. Alongside this, Lifetime Grief Leave. Grief doesn't go away after a week, a month or a year.
The People's Committee of Health will also announce the foundation of the New Hope Initiative. A publicly run, state supported umbrella for all terminal illness research. Rare or common. Adult or child. No market incentives. No patent walls. Just doing the right thing.
Comrades, we know this hasn't been an easy article to read. We've been careful with our wording. This kind of stuff is never easy. For anyone. But we do what we can, because we must. Perhaps someday we shall achieve the goal of a world with no suffering. But for now, we keep trying and trying. Because that is easy the Tsokpa Tsadren's mission is. And our mission.

Redefining tourism; A Modern, Respectful, Tourist Industry for Xsampa.
------------------------
June 2nd, 5651
------------------------
Tourism in Xsampa has been unique to say the least. Xsampa contains great environmental beauties, and as such, the tourist industry focuses on that instead of cultural tourism. But it's always been neglected. Most often, tourists come for the mountain ranges or the Memorial to the Victims of Nuclear War and then go home. However, that will be changed. The tourist industry will be modernized so that tourists have a reason to see Xsampa as more than mountains and nuclear grieving. As such, the first step by the Sub-Committee of Tourism is modernizing entry requirements. So what does that exactly mean? New tourists landing in Xsampa will be required to attend the mandatory Tourist Orientation Program. The TOP will go over necessary customs, basic phrases, and etiquette. Etiquette such as, not flaunting wealth and addressing everyone as Comrade, instead of western honorifics. Upon completion, they will be given a guidebook in the event they forget anything about it. The last thing we want are capitalist tourists who don't understand our way of life and mock it.
For the northern mountains, the Hanzen Shield Mountain Range, these remain our pride and joy. Picturesque mountains that anyone would love to see. This is where we must excel. Whether it be supporting eco-lodges for tourists (without depressing the development of local land and comrades), creating path trails towards the monasteries alongst the mountains or cultural immersion weeks, with Local Committees being invited to partake in that, with all funds going towards them to prevent developmental depression.
Moving past the shield, we get to our forests. Besides hiking trails, Local Committees are invited to invite tourists to actually help out with communes for a week. There, they can assist via planting and harvesting, attend Local Committee meetings, or learn about the farmer-labour movement. For the hiking trails, the goal will be to educate tourists about the natural fauna, biodiversity and flora of Xsampa.
Moving to the coast, we get the Sovereign Sea. Here, we can support investments into showing tourists the beauty of our coastlines. Publicly owned beachfronts for example. Solely beholden to local communities, not to private social enterprises. Alternatively, they can experience underwater diving museums, where they can learn about the life underneath the waves of the Sovereign Sea, learn about workers who tragically lost their lives at sea, and sustainable ferry routes alongst the coast.
But, as a socialist nation, we have one aspect of tourism that capitalist countries don't. Ideological Tourism. Whether it's tourists wanting to see the success of Socialism or curious capitalists wanting to see a socialist country, Xsampa presents a unique opportunity. And one we won't waste. As such, we can present new experiences. PAX tours, where (some) sessions of PAX can be seen by tourists (provided that they don't disturb PAX) and can engage with pre-approved members of PAX after the session. Besides that, turning tragedy into learning. The SCT had confirmed they won't touch the Memorial to the Victims of Nuclear War. That is an area for mourning and grief. Tourists may visit on their own if they wish, but they won't be directed there. Instead, the Museum of Remembrance for the Victims of Nuclear War will be founded. The goal is to teach not just tourists, but also Xsampans who may want to visit about the costs that nuclear weaponry has on the world. For any tourists attending these, it is encouraged they are respectful. Mockery of victims, the Bargas Chenpo, the Red Bass War or encouraging and supporting nuclear weapons will see the tourists kicked out of the Museum and directed to their temporal stay. Should bad behavior continue, they will be asked to leave Xsampa outright.
But like everything, tourism needs infrastructure. Hiking trails will have signage in Canrillaise instead of solely Xsampan, tourist exchange offices, ran by Local Committees who will help tourists get facilitated, and not be lost. Each Canton will work with the Sub-Committee of Tourism to manage tourism in their own Canton. One size does not fit all.
Because of an ever so common case of countries opening up their cultures to tourism, we see those cultures degrade, and development of individuals plummet. As such, tourism will remain largely focused on the environment instead of Xsampan customs and culture. As such, while tourists won't be denied from trying to enter during holidays such as Unification Day, May Day, Zugsar, the Week of Renewal, the Festival of Lights, People's Yogurt Festival, Aurousseau Day, or Rangrtogs Zlaba, they will not be encouraged either.

Metz-Leonid releases statement on Nsanlosan protests; Urges solidary with the proletariat of Nsanlosa as the government is condemned.
-----------------------------
September 5th, 5651
-----------------------------
Dovani is no stranger to chaos unfortunately. Being a former playground for colonialism, it is sadly no shock that portions of Dovani are often chaotic. But, despite that chaos, it is no excuse to embrace authoritarianism and subvert the will of the proletariat. Such is the case in Nsanlosa, where the opposition leader, Mbukwa was arrested. This has, I'm rather unsurprisingly, seen many Nsanlosans take to the streets and protest. Our comrades in Bianjie have taken the initiative and issued a condemnation of the Nsanlosan government in light of the protests.
As such, Xsampa will follow suite, and the People's Committee of Foreign Affairs has released the following statement.
Quote:It is recognized that every state has, and reserves the right to govern itself, however unique that form of governance that may be. However, no state has the right to deny the will of the Proletarian, whether engaging in liberal elections or socialist democracy. Xsampa stands in solidarity with all comrades in Nsanlosa who have taken to the streets in protesting this move, and we urge the government of Nsanlosa to release Mbukwa. The Democratic Republic of Xsampa especially condemns the usage of harsh measures against peaceful protestors.
With the PCFA releasing a statement, we can only wish for the best and stand in solidarity with our comrades in Nsanlosa who fight for democracy and justice. We, at the People's Committee of Information hope that Comrade Mbukwa is released earnestly, and justice is restored from what can arguably be called a stolen election. While the PCFA and the state won't say that, we will. May the Nsanlosan proletariat know democracy and freedom against tyranny. We urge other Dovani states to join the chorus of justice in condemning the authoritarian state.

Economic Mobilization to outproduce the debt; Phase 2 of Fortiers Big Beautiful Plan begins.
--------------------------
March 13th, 5652
--------------------------
Comrade Fortiers administration has so far been defined by two things. Eccentricity and countering the debt. Often intertwined. The so called, "Big Beautiful Plan" has been described as a multi phased plan designed to outproduce and outspend the debt. For the past year, the Fortier Administration has begun enacting a full audit of the entire economy. Today, phase 2 begins. It consists of economic mobilization, and expansion.
As such, it starts with the Industrial Revitalization Program, which will involve targeted investments into underperforming, and high potential industries. Such efforts within the IRP will involve technical upgrades, such as modernizing equipment and ensuring aging industries are brought to national standards (such as modern technology and green infrastructure), hiring and training surplus workers from overtrained sectors, and expanding local supply chains. Involved industries will be algae based bioplastic industries (with the algae industry still developing), textiles (an industry that's been an economic pillar, but often neglected and a personal interest of Comrade Fortier), green steel (that is, steel produced without or minimizing dirty energy usage), and construction materials for urban communes such as housing, rails, building materials, etc.
But, this isn't all. This phase is expected to be longer, but still achievable within the administrations term. Alongside the IRP, reviving the Xsampan Job Corps. A relic of an older Xsampa, it got Xsampa to new heights before, and it'll do it again. The XJC (pending review for a potential rename) will begin rolling out programs to roar back to life, such as the "Comrade Builder" program, looking to tie in SCCs and money to encourage volunteers or reward currently employed workers in the XJC to begin building rails for supply chains, infrastructure and housing. Alongside that, guaranteed industrial retraining for new workers joining the XJC, looking to ensure they are trained for green jobs and quality jobs. As Comrade Fortier has put it, "There will be so many beautiful jobs, you won't even know what to apply for. It'll be amazing." The XJC will also have the goal of assisting green energy sectors to help produce a surplus to export green technology abroad for more revenue.
But what economy isn't organized from the bottom up? Local Committees, Worker Councils and Co-Ops determine an economy. As such, Local Committees and Worker Co-Ops will work together in ensuring the economy remains functional for the proletariat. Worker Co-Ops will be able to, and are encouraged to pitch ideas to their Local Committee. Such ideas can range from how to tackle infrastructure or expansions to industrial sectors. If the Local Committee approves it, the Worker Co-Ops gets access to more state resources, and innovations are horizontally shared with the rest of the economy.
Looping back for XJC, they will also have another task. A grand task. Infrastructure projects. Infrastructure got Xsampa on track (pun not intended comrades) in the past, and it can do it again. Such projects include expanding the Xsampan Rail Network into rural communities, with a special focus on the coast to ensure cities such as Gramdkarpo can quickly reach Bajoum without issues (even if both cities are already connected to the XNR). Alongside that, a unique idea. Ever the eccentric, Comrade Fortier has proposed that the XJC support construction of vertical city farms. While eccentric by Xsampan standards, the idea has some merit. It would provide jobs and ensure local production of food such as the much beloved Xsampan Strawberry. However, the People's Committee of Infrastructure and Development has countered, questioning the feasibility of such an effort. As a compromise, People's Commissar, Yungdrung Gyaktsen has proposed a small scale adaption of the proposal, which was quickly accepted.
Keen eyed comrades will notice that there is a lot of spending in this phase and Comrade Fortier hasn't forgotten that fact either. As such, the Debt to Output Index (DOI) will be updated to include new factors, such as a Resource Efficiency Ratio, which will measure how well resourced are distributed and used. Alongside this, Comrade Fortier has made a point to include weekly updates to the public, looking to ensure the public and the state are on the same page at all times.
Phase 2 of the Big Beautiful Plan will take more time, but it's expected to be doable within time. At the very least, progress will be made.

The Xsampan Democratic Youth; Where are they today?
![[Image: 20231007_CNP002.jpg]](https://www.economist.com/cdn-cgi/image/width=834,quality=80,format=auto/content-assets/images/20231007_CNP002.jpg)

---------------------------
The Xsampan Democratic Youth. A still standing relic of the One Party Era. In the past, they were the youth wing of the Communist Party of Xsampa, and were responsible for instilling socialist values to the youth, organizing communities, and was often a quick entry path into the CPX. For older Xsampans, who still remember the 10s and 20s, it was a time of joy and community unity. For others, a tad too authoritarian. But nowadays? While it isn't the juggernaut it used to be, it still is relevant. Renowned for their red scarves, they've maintained themselves to this very day. Even if formally independent and having competitors, the Xsampan Democratic Youth remains a fairly popular choice for Xsampans looking to get involved politically, or at the very least get out of the house.
So where are they today? Well, as we said, they are now formally independent. While they are closely aligned to the CPX, and share similar values, they do maintain independence, and have chapters in every Canton. They primarily partake in democratic literacy campaigns, anti-fascist education, mutual aid networks, and community good. Every year, they hold the Xsampan Democratic Youth Congress, which is often attended by members of PAX (Granted, this happens to all Youth Organizations, not just the XDY) and of course, CPX delegates.
The XDY largely has contributed to ensuring strong turnout in elections due to their special, and concentrated focus on democratic literacy. Besides that, they do organize activities that aren't related to the state and are simply for joy. Hiking, camping, adventuring, you name it, and they organize it. After all, you can't spell socialism, without social. Great for making friends, but that goes for all Youth Organizations, not just the Democratic Youth. And like all Youth Organizations, they have a friendly rivalry with each other. They all also help out, participate and organize festivals during holidays such as May Day, Unification Day, or the People's Yogurt Festival. We won't list every holiday for obvious reasons. But these Youth Organizations are vital for the development of socialism within the youth, and keeping the social in socialism alive. There is no Xsampa without a community, and no socialism without community.

Last year, the Local Committee of Lenakha announced their intent to transform Lenakha from a city dominated by eco tourism, and a hub for cultural arts, into an educational university city, one to rival Metz-Leonid State University. The city has always enjoyed a friendly rivalry with Metz-Leonid, often being joked as the little sister of Metz-Leonid. And it seems the rivalry continues on as Lenakha looks to form a challenger to MLSU. While the city has often not received much national attention, mostly only receiving such attention during the Bargas Chenpo when it suffered light contamination and being a hub for refugees to get out, it seems Lenakha is looking to make a mark for itself. As such, the Local Committee announcing it's intents to transform the city has been a surprise, but a welcomed one.
As such, city funds are being used to begin constructing Lenakha State University (LSU), which is approximately expected to be accomplished in late 5654 should no delays occur. LSU is expected to focus on the health of humanity. Not in specializing in countering diseases, but in mental and psychological health. While LSU will of course, offer other courses, aspiring social workers, therapists, and psychologists will find a strong home in LSU. But you can't build up a university city by slapping classrooms across the city. It requires investment and infrastructure. Walkable cities has been a staple of urban life for a long time, but it isn't enough to foster the creation of a university city. As such, libraries and public archives will receive a boost to funding. Creating easier methods of learning is sure to incentive students to pick Lenakha. Alongside this, public squares. Students have a few tasks. One, is to study. Obviously. Two, is to live life. Three, is to form ideas to shape the future. As such, debate squares will be created in public squares in Lenakha. After all, where else can you form ideas to shape the future, if you cannot share those ideas aloud with the world?
Furthermore, housing. While yes, students living permanently in Lenakha can simply get their own living space, or stay with their family, what about those who are simply attending LSU for studies? That is where dormitories come in. These will be constructed around LSU to ensure you don't have to hike 15 minutes to get to class, and ensure its close enough for leisure and practicality. The dorms will be focused on ensuring adequate comfort for students, and ensure that they can actually live life. Because sure, we can force students to dedicate their entire time to studying, but then are they not slaves? Happy students are good students, and good students live life. Not stress over deadlines or fears. LSU will cooperate with the People's Committee of Education (and subsequently, the Sub-Committee of Student Housing, and the Sub-Committee of Housing, Urban and Rural Development from the People's Committee of Human Development). The dorms will provide a comfortable roof, and a comfortable way to socialize and live life.
The Little Sister of Metz-Leonid will certainly be changing how it's perceived nationally, going from a lovely valley city, to a city with a strong focus on humanism, the human spirit, and the basic right that every Xsampan deserves; the right to live.

Friendship Yaks sent to Bianjie; Hurray for friendship!
--------------------------
December 12th, 5653
--------------------------
Friendship Yaks are the highest form of diplomatic honour that Xsampa can bestow to a state. Friendship yaks are often sent to states Xsampa can confidently say, are friends and trusted. Today, Bianjie gets to receive this honour. Our comrades in Bianjie have remained friendly, loyal and cooperative through thick and thin ever since the state began revival efforts. Several friendship yaks will be sent to Bianjie, particularly Gemun as of today. This commemorates the continuation of a neverending friendship between our states. Handlers will be provided to ensure that the yaks are kept in good condition and care. The yaks will be property of the state in Bianjie and are expected to be put towards public use, such as zoos (with a focus on good welfare) or simply given another area to enjoy life and thrive in plateaus.
Friendship yaks have been neglected in terms of diplomatic use for quite some time. But perhaps friendship yaks will be used once again, as they enter Bianjie. In either case, the relationship between Xsampa and Bianjie is sure to only grow stronger. Whatever the case, friendship yaks being used once again is a good sign for the diplomatic theatre.

Tenzin Fortier meets with Buyeo Garam; A revolutionary friendship.
-----------------------
February 2nd, 5654
-----------------------
Comrade Fortier has gone abroad for the first time. For better or worse. Fortunately it was to a new allied state. Formerly Baeguk, the Democratic People's Republic of Dranea, a newly formed socialist state has overthrown their monarchy. Being one of the few socialist states in the world, many expected Xsampa to be approached. And those expectations were met when Comrade Fortier traveled to Dranea to formally establish ties. In Gongmango, the capital of the newly established republic, he met with Comrade Buyeo Garam. There, it would be quickly agreed that Xsampa would maintain full diplomatic relations and shift recognition away from the Kingdom of Great Bae to the DPRD and work fully to help the establishment of socialism and prosperity in Dranea.
Unfortunately, Comrade Fortier has specifically requested that we include his statements about Dranea in this article. And so, we have to oblige. Below is the full statement from Comrade Fortier.
Quote: Comrades!
What happened in Baeguk is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. The people, lovely people in Baeguk, so very beautiful, amazing working class up there, they stood up and overthrew the authoritarian monarchy. That's revolutionary power. Truly, it's amazing power.
Let me tell you, I just got off the phone with Comrade Buyeo Garam, amazing person, absolutely lovely, I could just kiss him. I got off the phone with him, and we had an amazing talk. What happened in Baeguk, or really, they've adopted a new revolutionary idea, Dranea, what they did in Dranea is historic. Very smart. Very amazing. People are saying this, not me, but people are coming up to me and saying "Look look! Dranea is inspired by our endless commitment to Metzism." And I say they're right. They are so very right. Who wouldn't be inspired?
Look comrades, Xsampa and Dranea are going to have an amazing relationship. So amazing. The world's going to be so jealous of it. They'll have to rename the concept of friendship and it'll have to be a photo of Xsampa and Dranea. We'll send them advice, we'll send them help, engineers, all our love. Who knows, maybe they'll name a train station after me. Who knows. But we're going to help them. Because that's what comrades do. We'll help them as much as we can because it's our duty. It's going to be a great time for Dranea. We'll help them build steel, we'll help them build socialism, we'll help them build a proletarian utopia!
The establishment of socialism in Northern Dovani is a win for the Dovani proletariat against the chains of capitalism, authoritarianism and reaction. However, it's also sparked a debate in PAX over the potential revival of SocIntern (Socialist International) as the prior version of SocIntern imploded due to the loss of allies. But perhaps the third time is the charm? Whatever the case, Xsampa is eager to help assist Dranea and warmly congratulations the Dreanean proletariat on their well earned liberation.
