Simón de Torreón y Valenzuela, the Chairman of the Real Academia Egeliana, announced that the academy will open a new satellite office this week in Dundorf, signaling a new era of academic cooperation between Egelion and Dundorf. The move comes after Dundorf recently had reformed their higher education structure, leading to a more decentralized approach and support for universities, making it easier for international cooperation.

Royal Councilor Cascabel, who oversees education policy, announced that the Real Academia made the proper diplomatic communications with Dunberg via the IDE and outlined its intentions for its mission in Dundorf. The Real Academia's satellite office in Dundorf would be responsible for all communications between both nations. The Real Academia will provide Dundorf with blueprints for new state curriculums, based on the inquiry model, and funding for different research projects in the nation. The Real Academia will also partner with Dundorfian publishing companies to begin printing and releasing Egelian-Caillean language books. Dictionaries and encyclopedias will be available to all Dundorfian students that include the most updated Egelian language rules and vocabulary as established by the Real Academia.

Chairman Torreón y Valenzuela stated that the Real Academia's office in Dundorf will be a "model for future satellite offices throughout Terra". The Real Academia's main focus for international offices includes: language acquisition, access to funds for higher level research projects, and access to high-quality, inquiry based curriculums. The satellite office in Dundorf will employ over 150 workers, some from Dundorf and others from Egelion. Torreón y Valenzuela stated that this venture in Artania is a "crucial moment for the Academia" as it provides the institution with a solid outlook on academics throughout Terra and provides a blueprint for cultural diffusion.

After serving his military service, Prince Artemio has finally stepped on Nadiyan soil to make his first impressions on the northern nation. He was joined by the Princess Anastasia Alexanderova, who returned once again to her home nation since she started her academic journey in Egelion years ago. The Prince and Princess of Amateria landed in Volosgrad first, which was full of visits to local schools and local hospitals. Prince Artemio was quick and eager to show off his new language skills to the local population, citing confidence in his ability to manage Nadiyan culture. Zarvosopol and Rodashyam were the next and final spots on the route for the young royals. The Princess of Amateria was the cause for all of the press' attention. The return to get homeland, now an Egelian Royal, brought happiness and pride to the people of Nadiya. As the new Tsarina of the people, she took great vows to uphold the social order of Nadiya and bring new ideals to the nation: stability, order, and progress. The Prince of Amateria gave a similar speech in Zarvosopol, pledging all of his good will, his leadership, and his care towards the issues that plague Nadiya. The Prince and Princess will visit Nadiya after elections to ensure all goes well. Many in Altea have stated that the trip the Prince and Princess took to Nadiya represents a new future in Keris. With the Prince of Amateria eventually set to become a monarch in two nations, it brings to question whether the young couple are prepared to take up the mantle of ruling, or if the marriage of the two royals presents nothing other than young love.

In Altéa, an official statement was released by the Palace of Sorsuela announcing an intention of asylum for Crown Prince Baek Sehyeon following the revolution in Baeguk. The statement claimed that King Romulo had extended a personal grant of asylum to the young Prince since his family fled to the Island of Changtae. King Romulo only extended asylum to the Crown Prince and not the current regent. High Councilor Formoselle y Castilla, official representative of the King, stated that His Majesty "believes that the young Crown Prince could be swayed away from the corruption of his family's sins and live a fulfilled life in Altéa". It is unknown whether the family has received this "invitation" from House Montalivet, but the High Councilor made it clear that a military intervention could take place to bring the prince to Egelion, should it be accepted. The move, while questioned by some, is believed to be a aprt of King Romulo's personal ideal of keeping monarchism alive wherever it can be. In the case of the crown prince and Baeguk, much "can still be redeemed given the right growth for the prince"

In the far northern tundra of Caille, the Royal Directory if the Armed Forces carried out a full "exercise" for the Royal Air Force, specifically targeting the effectiveness and responsiveness of the ATENEA Missile Program. The Royal Directory, led by Royal Councilor Montalivet, released a statement yesterday at noon, signaling the Directory's intention to test the ATENEA system and temporarily closing international airspaces around Caille. The exercises would involve an AWACS plane from the air force as well as a couple of Unionfighters and Rafales from the northern patrol fighter wings to ensure the effectiveness of the missile defense. Ten medium range surface-to-surface missiles were launched from pre-determined locations meant to be intercepted by the ATENEA system in the isolated western parts of the country. Several satellites and radar systems detected the launch of the missiles in Western Caille and quickly launched to counter the threat. While the simulation was extremely limited in range and scope, the ATENEA system was successful in stopping all of the medium-range missiles that were launched mid air. All hits and debris were confirmed by the fighter wing that was deployed. ATENEA Command Headquarters in Cartablanca stated that the missile system showed a 98% success rate when put up against medium range missiles. It was reported that while all missiles were shot down by the system, some targets required two missiles to be intercepted.

The Royal Directory stated that confidence in the ATENEA system was "strong and secure for the future". Many of the systems doubters in Cartablanca stated that the program represented a "direct loss of Crowns every year" due to its high operating costs. However, Royal Councilor Montalivet stated that the ATENEA system gives Egelion a "clear and mounting advantage" over potential adversaries. The ATENEA System remains the most advanced and complex missile defense system in Terra thanks to its years of research and its solid Canrillaise backbone. Montalivet stated that the ATENEA system remains the pride of the Royal Egelian Armed Forces and "must be maintained for purposes of national security". With the completion of effectiveness exercises, Royal Councilor Montalivet stated that the Royal Directory would begin to adopt the ATENEA system within the ships of the Armada. Within the next three years, Novantica and Leonex will slowly incorporate ATENEA software and missiles to the Armada's the fleets.

What we have here is a firm commitment to our armed forces, especially those concerning with the defense of the motherland. With our new advances into UAVs and hypersonic weaponry, Cartablanca is more than satisfied with the direction of our aerial forces. While we understand concerns regarding the program's economic values, we believe this program to be one of the only aspects that separates us from other armed forces abroad. Royal Councilor Montalivet, in charge of all matters of industry in the Royal Council, announced that he has joined a deal between Villar y Zepeda and the Port Authority of Libertaria to expand the quickly growing and busy Puerto Allende in the Duchy of Dul Kinea. The move comes after the port authority announced a massive increase of goods coming into Egelion during last year's final quarter, but also comes after a delay in receiving goods from international markets following the disruptive trade relations in the lower Anantonese Ocean region. Duke Montalivet stated that the expansion of Puerto Allende will help alleviate issues with incoming vessels and give a stronger sense of confidence in market-flow issues. The expansion of Puerto Allende will be facilitated by the financial giant of Dul Kinea: Villar y Zepeda. The bank, which has monetary connections to the Real Academia and Novantica, will provide a decent amount of the capital necessary to make the port expansion possible. Experts at El Capitolio claim that the project is expected to cost the bank, the port authority, and the royal court over 2.4 Billion Crowns to complete. Architects and engineers have laid plans to create a new cargo terminal for incoming ships, access to different methods of transportation such as rail and airports, and new areas to help house modern military fleets.

Royal Councilor  Montalivet stated that the expansion of Port Allende encompasses several areas important to the Egelian government: efficiency, secure methods of transportation, and accessibility to other markets. Puerto Allende will attempt to offer green solutions in its construction. Areas powered by geothermal, solar, and offshore wind farms are part of the plans for the new port expansion, giving more flexibility and opportunities for future job creation. Members of the Port Authority of Libertaria have also stated that this gives the nation a great opportunity to think of fuel storage and access to military expeditions. Puerto Allende will seek to give space for new avenues of fuel storage. Incoming projects from North Seleyan Petroleum gives an even greater importance to the port expansion, making it one of the more important projects going on in the region. While the project will improve overall trade flow in the nation, one cannot ignore the opportunities it opens for other nations and corporations seeking to establish themselves in Egelion. Given Puerto Allende is the farthest port to the west of the nation, it is the first step before entering larger ports such as those in Rozevia, Yadraz, and Cartablanca.

Breaking news coming from Altéa this afternoon, King Romulo, sovereign of Egelion for over 37 years, has suffered a crippling stroke while at a fundraiser event for the Real Academia. The King was invited to the Real Academia's yearly "Educate the Masses Fundraiser" at Arteaga Palace to give a speech and begin the event. However, during his speech, the King began to slur his words, he suddenly fell silent and then collapsed to the floor. Her Majesty Queen Nicole rushed to his aid and quickly began to call for help. The Silver Guard of the King rushed to his aid and began to clear the room of all attendees. 

The Prince of Amateria, who was at Armonte Palace nearby, was urgently rushed to Altéa via the family's helicopter. The King was taken by ambulance to El Centro Medico San Ignacio Bartoloméo, Altéa's best medical center. He was accompanied by Her Majesty--the press not being allowed in. An hour into the incident, the Prince of Amateria arrived to the medical center and informed himself on the situation. Half an hour later, he stepped outside and spoke to the press, giving an update on the king:

I come to give an update on the health of His Majesty. At approximately 4:09 PM, His Majesty suffered a cerebrovascular accident on the right side of his head. According to medical professionals, His Majesty exists in a comatose state. His Majesty remains with life and can breathe without invasive medical equipment, but does not respond to external stimuli. Her Majesty and the rest of House Montalivet will remain here until further details of His Majesty's condition are given. We ask that the nation and those close to His Majesty pray for our family in this difficult time of need. Thank you.

His Majesty, King Romulo of Montalivet-Sildavia, divine sovereign of Egelion and Caille, has died.

The king, who was in a coma for months following a stroke, was declared brain dead by the doctors of C.M San Ignacio Bartoloméo this morning. Her Majesty, Queen Nicole was there at the moment of official death, now becoming "La Madre Reina". Prince Artemio was also present at the announcement of death, instantly becoming King Artemio I under law. 

According to the statement from Villamor Palace, the new King will remain at the medical center the day and then go to Villamor Palace, where he will meet with the Royal Council and the Royal Directory for an update on the nation's affairs. King Romulo's historic reign as monarch of Egelion has come to an end. According to his final wishes, he specifically thanked the governments of Kalistan, Lodamun, Bianjie, Istalia, Selucia, Xsampa, Luthori, Hutori, Kanjor, and Dundorf for their extensive service and cooperation for the growth of the Kingdom of Egelion.

King Artemio and Queen Anastasia now become sovereigns at the age of 28, leading Egelion in a new direction. King Artemio and Queen Anastasia are now also Tsar and Tsarina of the Nadiyan Confederation, leading to more questions over their new reign. With a completely different Egelion compared to when Romulo first took over,
Artemio stands prepared to take on new challenges and a new country. The world now stands ready for yet another age of absolute rule in Egelion.

At a large press event in Yadraz City, CEO of Aeroleon, Fernando Elizalde, revealed the company's four new commercial passenger airplane models, better known as the MAX Series. Almost four years ago, Elizalde went to the press to announce his intentions of building new commercial passenger jets, citing the antiquated and potentially "dangerously outdated" models that currently exist in Terra. With no major innovation by the traditional manufacturers, Elizalde has finally provided Terra with a much safer, technologically superior, and innovative option. At Aeroloen's press event, Elizalde revealed four different options of planes: the Max-200, Max 300, Max 400, and Max-500. Based on Aeroleon's manufacturing website, the MAX-200 and MAX-300 models are narrow-bodied local and regional jets while the MAX-400 and MAX-500 are wide bodied jets that can go on intercontinental flights. 

Elizalde stated that production of the MAX-Series passenger jets are occurring completely in the Duchy of Yadraz (Ghadrash). There are currently three separate manufacturing plants employing over 1,500 people. Two of the plants are located in the suburbs of the City of Yadraz, while another is located in the town of Gaspar, 30 miles away. Each of these manufacturing centers will be home to all building materials and assembly lines for all of the series' planes. Elizalde stated that the decision to keep all manufacturing plants in Yadraz was thanks to the "hardworking nature of the Ghadrashi people" and a testament to Yadraz's reputation as a manufacturing hub in Egelion.

Currently, over 100 jets are in order for the Aeroleon line itself. The company stated that the new MAX-Series planes offer an insight of the direction they want to take. Elizalde stated: "We envision a future where our planes are the safest and most innovative in Terra. We are working closely with private firms, universities, and think tanks to ensure we can provide quality for all airlines who decide to buy our planes." Aeroleon's commitment to safety was one of Elizalde's main goals, hiring several technicians and mechanics for each of Aeroleon's future routes. In Yadraz, the company has hired a group of over 100 engineers to ensure that the company's Leonex Engines are working up to standard before delivering planes. "We've worked a lot of making sure our wings are durable, our cabins are fresh, and our engines are the best. I want to thank Leonex for providing the know-how and expertise on our largest engines yet", stated Elizalde. Elizalde also confirmed that progress is still ongoing on developing a plane with Kalistan that is able to use more productive fuel methods in transportation. Elizalde confirms that "prototypes are available, but testing is not yet cleared".

This time the new office is set to open in Vrosnok where ambitious plans are underway to restore Krivian culture and bring restorative academics to a generally impoverished and culturally-lacking region. Torreón y Valenzuela stated that the new office in Vrosnok is unlike any other office that the Real Academia has funded. The office in Vrosnok will be larger and have more inclusion of local community based on the region's academic goals. The Real Academia will exist in Vrosnok for three main reasons: cultural and language acquisition, the expansion of culture through education and media, and funding research projects in relation to the expansion of Vrosnok's regional curriculum.

Torreón y Valenzuela commented that the satellite office exists not to take over all academics functions in Vrosnok, rather act as a catalyst to significantly improve academics. "I understand Vrosnok is at a point where they have a solid plan to reform their systems, but they need a push. They need to have stable, sound, and structured system of support to help them engage in the self-sustainability of their own education system". The Real Academia's office will help Vrosnok create a system where they can adequately revive language and culture all while creating a system that works--and is funded by them. "A lot of time we see academic institutions that crumble because they create a mess of bureaucracy and over-inflated services. While that may work for some countries, it doesn't work for all. In Egelion, we have a system that works for all--based on our own needs. We understand that problem solving, cultural expansion, and solving long-term solutions require inquiry and solutions--not temporary bandages", states Torreón y Valenzuela.

The Real Academia will begin inviting Vrosnok academics and university personnel to begin research and curriculum ideas at the satellite office. The office is geared with technology and access to several archives to help fuel efforts in the region. The Real Academia, through their crediting and spending partner Villar y Zepeda, will begin to fund several different research projects in Vrosnok's to better improve the effort to revive and restore the Krivian culture. These research projects will be directly given to students at The Vrosnoki National University, while smaller scale, community-based opportunities will be given to students at the intermediate and middle levels of schooling. "I think what we are seeing in Vrosnok is not only a reform, but a revolution. What we are doing in the region is the revival of their past, but also the reinforcement of their future. Vrosnok is still a long way from being in the spot that we envision, but that is our purpose here: we are ready to give them the platform to create something beautiful and something that will benefit all generations". Workers of the Real Academia will begin contacting university professors and graduate students next week to begin initial projects, while Villar y Zepeda has begun to create grant packages for the Academia to distribute during its operations.

The Royal Directory of the Armed Forces in Cartablanca sent a direct request to the Royal Council in Altea two weeks ago that called for a 100 billion Crown increase in funds to the military sector in the nation. According to details of the request, the Royal Directory is prepared to improve the structure, range, and capabilities of the Royal Air Force and expand the docking capabilities of the Royal Armada. Royal Councilor Montalivet approved the request personally, stating that while the current apparatus of the Egelian Armed Forces is well-structured and organized, the future of the forces shows an "increase of personnel and equipment that must be accommodated within our current set-up." The increase in the budget is a hefty one according to statistics from the Royal Treasury. Over 100 billion Crowns will be invested into many sectors of the armed forces, not just into those concerning procurement.

Military bases throughout Egelion and abroad will be improved. The naval base at Punto Norte in Nadiya will receive 500 million in repairs and expansions, allowing for the creation of an airbase alongside the existing naval dockyards. Companies such as Grupo Ortega, Leonex, and Novantica will receive funds for new locations for their manufacturing factories, as an increase in production and jobs will soon be available. The request in funds also calls for new bases to be built in Egelion. The Royal Directory states that four new air bases will be created in Egelion to accommodate for future increases in personnel for the Royal Air Force. The Royal Air Force will begin to include new personnel into the force such as those needed for a UAV force and those needed for the expansion of the ATENEA Missile Program. New fighter and multi-role jets are set to be purchased for the Royal Air Force, including T4-Unionfighters and R5 Rafales. These new jets will be integrated with new anti-stealth software and made available for service as soon as possible. By the end of the decade, the Royal Directory plans for there to be over 500 active fighters in the Royal Air Force, surrounded by state-of-the-art equipment, technology, and improved basing. Royal Councilor Montalivet stated that the efforts are not simply "to build, buy, and sit in dust."

All investments into the military have a purpose. From having improved stations for all servicemen to having better accessibility at sea and in the air, the increase in funds is not a one-and-done deal, but an investment that covers all parts for the military not just those concerning the procurement of equipment. "Cartablanca is not looking to spending money just for our jets to sit idle and our facilities to look pretty. We are investing in a new age of productivity and efficiency in our armed forces. With our set of current fighters, radars, missile systems, we already stand ahead of potential adversaries, but we understand that we can continue improving. We must always be ready to adapt and evolve--such is our doctrine in Cartablanca. With updated and efficient facilities, we'll be able to respond to any situation or any threat with ease and work confidence", states Royal Councilor Montalivet. In Altéa, all members of the Conservative, Ghadrashi, and Royalist Party voted yes to the request, claiming it to be a positive investment. Half of the Caillean People's Party voted against it despite it directly improving several areas in Caille.

The Royal Directory of the Armed Forces has confirmed that it conducted a successful hypersonic ballistic missile test that landed in international waters in the northern Anantonese Ocean. The test was directed after Cartablanca notified the governments of Lourenne and the Anantonese Empire of the missile test. International cargo and trade routes were made safe by the Home Armada fleet, who were tasked with heading towards the target launch zone to ensure the test was successful and to pick up fragments from the test in the ocean. The test occurred around 5 in the morning from an ATENEA Command Center in the mountain ranges of northwest Amateria. The launch featured the new Hermes-1X ballistic missile model designed by Leonex and Grupo Ortega. The two companies have worked together with the government to create multiple models of hypersonic weaponry. The companies focused on the creation of a traditional ICBM base with hypersonic capabilities and another model based on low-atmospheric gliding technology.

Members from Leonex's design team spoke about the several years of delays and prototypes leading to the success of the new missiles. "We had many issues trying to figure out control actuators and the necessary sensors to make this possible", said Guillermo Vasco, Leonex's Head Engineer who worked on the Hermes missile.  "We also saw some imperfections within the pump systems for the engine, specifically the inclusion of Ethylene needed to kick start those engines. We discovered our flaws thanks to years of testing and research. Our university partners and regional engineers helped us figure this one out." The missile test over Egelian skies was only a part of the new missiles set to be added to the ATENEA Missile Program. A hypersonic guided weapon was also manufactured. These weapons are much more agile and difficult to detect compared to the traditional ICBM style. These missiles can be launch from frigates, submarines, and even in ground-based locations. What makes these types of weapons more accurate is their ability to evade enemy radar due to their unconventional approach to travel. Radar systems won't detect these missiles until they are closing in or near the final destination.

Leonex was credited with engineering this major feat, realizing that if they could create a missile that could bypass the ATENEA system, it would be very difficult to stop for other systems of defense as well. "We wanted to make sure that these missilies were not like any other conventional ICBM or cruise missile. When we invest billions of crowns into research and design it has to mean something. We can't simply decide to make something average and be satisfied with that. What we have created here is an effective, accurate, and modern missile system for the ATENEA Program. We will not only be able to defend our skies, but respond to adversaries as well." According to Cartablanca, there are fewer than 20 of the missiles (both ICBM and Glide) in the Egelian inventory. There are plans to establish these missiles on the Yadraz-Class Destroyers and the Amateria-Class Frigates within the Royal Armada. However, as production remains low, Cartablanca is cautious to delve deep in a program that has already costed billions despitre its successful tests.
