The certified election results of 5683 as of 7:00 AM.
3 March 5683 (backdated), Wiel, Kingdom of Wrnuke
Five years after the first free elections the people have once again voted. While one of the three coalition parties has lost seats, the other two have won. In the case of Intrsmor Shlajkaisrmko Trmékez it was a big victory, his Tanhriék Prostrnatnyrmojad (Tanhri's Will) movement went from 14 to 27 seats. Minister Z'nstro and his conservative-liberal bloc of Lofrkadé Péashro (Liberal Vanguard) went from 49 to 43 seats. Prefect Anzlék-Zahr's Wrntu Jelb’koékai (Jelbics Forward) extended their parliamentary lead by gaining a further 6 seats, pushing them to 70. The biggest losses were felt by the Worldburnerist Aked Prta (Red Party) which has been criticised for its isolationist stance. The biggest surprise of all was the 10 seat victory of the newcomer party Konzék Buntjogad (King’s Alliance). The party was founded as an alternative for the liberal bloc by proud monarchist Ibram Bruhsrmko Harif, though it largely supports foreign policies set in motion by the Jez Shrmoishto (Grand Coalition). Harif has quickly gained popularity through social media, being a Yeudo-Jelbic businessman from the tech sector. The young entrepreneur named his new party after King Temrkai VII, claiming His Majesty and the Kingdom are the only ones globally to truly care about Yeudi independence. The message has resonated well with voters.
Even though economic growth has been slowed by the policies of the Anzlék-Zahr cabinet the population still seems to support the measures. The full military and economic alliance with Egelion, the trade arrangements with Kundrati, the normalisation of contact with Zardugal, and the greater economic plan by Minister Trmékez have caused a net growth for the average Jelbic citizen. Unemployment has been in a sky fall in the last two years and inflation has so far been at a below average rate. While a few ministers will resign with the second Anzlék-Zahr cabinet it is expected the layout will remain mostly the same. Prefect Anzlék-Zahr was extremely happy with the election results and the last five years: "As a party we were of course hoping to win, to see that the people approve of what we do, but I never expected to gain six more seats for our movement. I'm truly sorry for Dwít [editorial: Minister Z'nstro, LP] as he has lost a few seats, though I must congratulate my other colleague [editorial: Minister Trmékez, TP] for his magnificent victory. He is truly the biggest winner of this election, and I hope we can work together for a few more years. I think we have all shown that this Grand Coalition of liberalism and proper Jelbic spirit is what Wrnuke needs at this time. A foundation to grow on even more."
