Economic and Trade agreement between Istalia and Kundrati restored
Given the stability achieved in the artanian country and Kasaema's renewed diplomatic impetus, Istalia believes the time is ripe to normalize relations and update the agreement in line with SOMECO framework

ROMULA - After years of operational freeze, due to the political instability and internal tensions affecting at the time a recently liberated Kundrati, emerging from the tragedy of the Legionary regime, the economic and trade agreement signed by Romula and Kasaema at the very dawn of that fragile democracy has been officially reactivated. The decision, announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, marks a significant step in the normalization of bilateral relations and paves the way for a new phase of cooperation between the two economies.
According to government sources, the stabilization of Kundrati's political and institutional framework and the consolidation of its democratic institutions were viewed by the Istalian government as encouraging signs indicating that the time was ripe for a thaw in the bilateral agreement.
Meeting the press, Foreign Minister Luciano Pardi stated:
Quote:The return to full reactivation of the agreement represents a step of confidence in a partner that has overcome a critical and complex phase, strengthening its democratic structure and economic viability.
The government was able to interact very openly and freely with both the government and the opposition political forces, and we also met with representatives of Kundrati's business community.
Istalia has been positively impressed by what we believe to be signs of a progressive and beneficial political stabilization, which further encourages us to resume and grow relations with Kasaema.
With the reactivation of the treaty, Kundrati markets will once again be accessible to Istalian operators, opening up significant opportunities for trade and foreign direct investment. During recent technical negotiations, delegations from the two countries extensively discussed the strategic sectors in which the Istalian economy is poised to strengthen its presence: from mining to financial intermediation, to sectors with high growth potential such as the entertainment and cultural media industries.
The Istalian government has also announced that discussions will soon begin to revise the agreement with the aim of harmonizing its provisions with the SOMECO regulatory and diplomatic framework. This operation is clearly part of the broader economic integration plan jointly promoted by Istalia and Deltaria, which aims to foster a progressive convergence of of the economic interests of the two countries within the framework of SOMECO.
To mark the full resumption of economic and trade relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a state visit to Kundrati by His Majesty the Emperor and the Minister-Secretary of State is being organized with the Crown. Tommaso V would thus become the second Istalian monarch to officially visit the artanian country, 53 years after the visit of his father, Alessandro V, who traveled to Jildrati City to meet and support the Black President, then leader of the Union of Kundrati, confined to the island of Etxea, and who staunchly resisted and opposed the totalitarian legionary regime that dominated the mainland.
