A historic day has come to Keris as the Egelian Royal Government, the New Endralonian Regency Council and the Nadiyan Parliament have all agreed to create and join a a new Kerisian Empire. The Kerisian Empire is a loose collection of independent sovereign states, all under the leadership and reign of the Montalivet-Syldavia dynasty. The new Kerisian Empire comes after Leon Alexander was crowned King of Egelion and King of New Endralon and Kizenia. Princess Maria Carolina Anastasiana was elected and crowned Tsarina of Nadiya the day after. the coronation of Leon Alexander, or Leon Alejandro in the common tongue, was held at the Basilica of Our Lady of Egelion in Altea. The procession, led by the Arch-Patriarch of Canrille, concluded after three hours. the 24 year old at the same time became King of Egelion and of New Endralon and Kizenia.

Miles north, Princess Maria Carolina, sister of King Leon, was crowned Tsarina of Nadiya after the abdication of the Tsarina Anastasia Alexanderovna. After she was named Tsarina, history was made as it meant that two separate Montalivets made it onto the thrones of three separate countries. Once the younger sister of the King, Carlota, marries the Deltarian emperor, the Montalivets will be on four different global thrones, marking asignificant moment of power for the dynasty. The coronation in Altea was enjoyed by millions in Keris. King Leon alexander has positioned himself as a "pacifist and an "ardent follower of enlightened policies". During his first speech to the nation, he pledged to continue support for the well-being of all of New Endralon and to continue Egelion's amiability in the international community.

King Leon Alexander also hopes to create a deeper integration within the Kerisian continent itself. The status of the empire, according to him, will not be a typical empire, rather a partnership of multiple nations with lesser restrictions, increased cooperation, and mutual defense. the concept of empire is different to many. King Leon says that the status of empire will not change Egelion's attitude with Keris, but deepen the relationships instead. King Leon Alexander is said to go to Istalia and Deltaria for "royal arrangements" in the near future. For now, the Kerisian Empire will begin further integrations. It is expected that the king will invite representatives from Keris to iron out the deals of the empire and begin a common foreign policy. God Save the King! God save the Tsarina!
