Queen Austrina has done much in the past year to increase the visibility of the Royal House, by attending events for various charities across the country, as well as appearing across the nation. 

Her tremendous love of her country as well as Dolgavans everywhere, has been made clear, as she has seemingly transformed the monarchy from a passive institution, to one that is active in the community, advocating for political causes that she fully agrees with, and she has not been afraid to advocate for issues that she believes are important, such as the greater preservation of Dolgava's vast ecosystems, as well as better care for premature babies in Dolgavan hospitals and medical institutions. This is due to her mother having great difficulty giving birth to a child, and Austrina being the only child of King Kazimierz. She was premature, and survived much of her early life dealing with medical difficulties, due to underdeveloped lungs. This leads to an issue she has championed, that being lung health, and the great amount of pollutants in the air. She has pushed for greater pollution control, especially around residential areas. 

In her first year of reign, Queen Austrina has had an eventful and good year. Today, she released a short statement thanking the people of Dolgava, for their continued love and support in this humble, thankful and candid statement.

I cannot describe how grateful I am to the people of this country, for putting their trust and faith in me, to be the monarch of this country. We live in a world that is increasingly divided, and one where political loyalties and differences divide. However in Dolgava we stand for one nation, for one flag, and we all work together to make this place, and to make this country better and more prosperous for everyone. So today, as I mark one year let this not be about me, and what I have done, but what we have done as a country, together.
