Istalia extends an olive branch to Kalistan: “Let’s work together for the Selucian Yeudi”

ROMULA - With an unexpected move that surprised observers and analysts, both at home and abroad, Minister Secretary Marina Cantalamessa contacted the Government of Kaliburg directly to discuss the humanitarian crisis engulfing the Yeudi community in Selucia. This decision comes in the wake of Kalistan's immediate and harsh condemnation of Scipio's regime.

The Istalian government was among the first to follow Kalistan's example, openly denouncing the treatment inflicted on the Yeudi population and as confirmed by Antinori Palace, the Executive considers it "imperative to build the broadest possible front in order to increase pressure on the Selucian regime".

During the special press conference called to respond to the press, Cantalamessa stated:

Despite the tensions and misunderstandings that have strained relations with Kalistan in recent years, our countries have long shared the same sensitivity and willingness to combat abuses and crimes in the area of human rights.

Today, faced with the abuses suffered by the Yeudi community in Selucia, Istalia, Kalistan and their partners have the opportunity, or perhaps the duty, to join forces, beyond their differences, to protect over a million innocent people.

This is an opportunity for the international community to reaffirm fundamental values and principles, rejecting violence, abuse and barbarism.

Sources close to Antinori Palace highlight how Cantalamessa is clearly seizing the moment to extend an olive branch to Kaliburg and initiate the much-needed thaw in Istalian-Kalistani relations. This move could therefore pave the way for reopening dialogue with a kay partner in northern Seleya.
