Yishelem confirms "active comms channels" with Calatia and the Restorationists in Selucia

Talks on diaspora-centric initiatives underway

Yishelem, Amudim - While neither Calatia nor the Olerian First Cohort share the Imperator's "thirst for Yeudi blood", the Restorationists have been the ones who maintained a clear position on the peaceful deportation of Selucian-Yeudis from the get-go. Despite the factional state of Selucia, the anti-Yeudi sentiment is shared across, prompting the issue to become a - if not the - top priority item on the Interim Government's agenda. Officials have in fact pursued non-agression since last year.

Based on sources with the Interim Foreign & Diaspora Office in Yishelem, Jelbic-Yeudi intelligence has had an ear on the ground since last summer, as opposition creeped up in West Aquilonia.

According to the Benowitz Foundation's archives, the population of the Yeudi Diaspora in Selucia is estimated at around 895K, about 1% of the country's total population of 89M. The Interim Government in Yishelem is reportedly working on an entitlements package, presumed to hit the ground running should ongoing talks lead to the mass emigration of Selucian-Yeudis to Amudim.

The package is also presumed to address welfare needs for Kundratijan-Yeudis and Jelbic-Pontesian-Yeudis who experienced damages and loss to their properties in recent years. The City Council of Haifbourg has been pushing for Tel Bira's participation in the initiative - the "ask" is speculated to sit around YSK 1.5 trillion, throwing a wrench in several RFPs to private contractors. 

Sholemberg is also reportedly in talks with Narik-Darnussian-Yeudis on several naval related projects, including but not limited to the Bannerpakt and the Equifund concerning extensive industrial zoning in the North Bank for 8 military-grade shipyards.

Analysts have cautioned Yishelem to consider rising inflation, unemployment and interest rates as borrowing skyrockets, in light of the end of domestic hostilities and the reunification.
