Istalia officially recognizes the Homeland State of Amudim

ROMULA - In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, the Imperial State of Istalia announced its official recognition of the reconstituted Yeudi nation as the "Homeland State of Amudim", calling it "a historic step towards peace and stabilization in northwest Majatra".

In the statement, the Istalian Government:

Expresses the most sincere hope that the rebirth of the Yeudi homeland represents the definitive end to a century of instability and tension, wishing the new state lasting peace, prosperity and a future based on dialogue and reconciliation.

Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes:

The reunification of the Yeudi nation can usher in a new, revitalized phase in continental diplomatic relations, contributing to détente between the region's major powers and restoring the centrality of political and economic cooperation.

The statement, however, comes amid the ongoing serious crisis in Selucia, where the country is now torn between warring factions, while the fate of the Yeudi-Selucians remains uncertain and exposed to the persecution by the Scipio's regime.

The Ministry of Defense has confirmed that preparations for an air-naval expeditionary force, centered around the LHD Invicta, flagship of the Imperial fleet, are well underway. The unit, which will be escorted by destroyers and frigates, will set sail to secure and expand humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of Yeudi refugees fleeing the violences. The Invicta will be dedicated to humanitarian operations but will also serve as an operational platform for the air component, which, along with the other naval units, will monitor the safety of maritime traffic and will be deployed to contain any aggressive sorties by Selucian forces.

The Defense General Staff announced that it is already in close coordination with its Deltarian counterpart, while the Government is launching a round of consultations with the region’s key diplomatic chancelleries to organize and coordinate the Multinational Naval Mission planned as part of the International Joint Front against the Selucian Scipio's regime.

And in a further statement came just few hours ago, Istalia explicitly invited the Majatran powers and the states in the area of the Migrant Pass to join the multilateral operation, "driven by noble intentions, aimed at protecting human lives and reaffirming the fundamental principles of the international order".

The Government has emphasized that such collaboration could represent a first step, an opportunity, to initiate a gradual easing of continental relations and to symbolize the solemnity and seriousness of the Istalian appeal, His Majesty Tommaso V instructed the Government to conclude the note with a brief message penned personally by the Emperor:

The establishment of the Homeland State of Amudim offers a rare opportunity to renew relations among the nations of all Majatra. It is up to us, Majatran people, to seize this opportunity and transform it into the foundation of a just, stable and lasting peace.
