Anti-Qedarite statement by an FNI MP outrages the country

ROMULA - A post published by Emanuele Stasi, a Congressman for the Istalian National Front, on one of the main social media platforms sparked public outrage and the political storm in the past few days. In the post, Stasi harshly attacked the government for its efforts to support the Yeudis in Seluncia, risking even istalian lives for them, and for the recognition of the Homeland State of Amudim, unleashing a scathing tirade laced with prejudice, racist overtones and conspiracy theories, even resurrecting old theories of an alleged Beiteynese plot against Istalia. In his outburst, the MP did not spare the Solentians and Majatrans in general, even going so far as to talk about a veritable "Qedarite plague".

The national leadership of the FNI, in an official statement, immediately distanced itself from its representative's statements, but the political backlash had already exploded. Condemnation and criticism came from all parliamentary forces, who firmly denounced Stasi's words. The already tense atmosphere flared further during yesterday's Congress session: although the topic was not on the agenda, harsh accusations were leveled from the majority benches against the FNI, accused of tolerating and fueling "not even slightly" anti-Qedarite rhetoric.

The government also unreservedly condemned the MP's remarks, reiterating that Istalia rejects all forms of discrimination and racism. The Executive firmly reaffirmed its willingness to maintain a constructive dialogue with the Homeland State of Amudim and to continue supporting the Yeudi-Selucian population.

In this regard, the Istalia Air and Naval Squadron is now ready to head towards the waters of the Migrant Pass, where it will join forces with the Delta forces. A few days ago, the Ministry of Defense announced the creation of a Joint Operations Command between the forces of the two countries, the result of weeks of discussion and planning. This new Joint Command proposes itself as the core of the operational structure of the International Joint Front's Naval Mission to come to the aid of the Yeudi-Selucians, marking a further step in the strategic cooperation between Itsalia and Deltaria.
