A look into the ongoing crisis in the Gongma Nyamnyid Party; Where does the Right go with the GNP in crisis?

Ever since last years election results, the Gongma Nyamnyid Party, otherwise known as the GNP has been in a state of constant crisis. Between losing Daenists and the defections from the XIP to the Party Leader stepping down and becoming an Independent, it seems like the GNP simply can't catch a break. While so far, the bleeding has stopped and the GNP has stabilized relatively, the GNP is likely to plummet to minor party status in 5695 due to the crisis. But what exactly is the crisis, what's causing it and what can be the future of the GNP?
Well, as we all know in April of 5690, Daenists left the GNP to form the Xsampa Improvement Party, believing that the GNPs secular nature was blocking any advance of conservative socialism and moralism. This was a major blow to the GNP as it's been a relatively big tent coalition for right wing voters, such as conservative socialists, moderate nationalists, Daenists and Social Monarchists. However, that's quite a big tent to catch. Too big. Which leads to arguably one of the most defining issues of the GNP. What actually made it conservative, let alone traditionalists? The last time the GNP entered government was with the Sangmo Government in 5670 and that administration was largely defined by a confusing commitment to the cultural sector than actual conservatism. Daenists in the GNP argued that the party should look to moralism and religion to offer a conservative alternative, moderate nationalists argued that the GNP should focus on a Xsampa first message instead, whilst Social Monarchists continued with their unique social monarchism ideals. And in the middle,Traditionalists who kept the status quo. By 5590, it seems those tensions reached a boiling point as we saw with the formation of the Xsampa Improvement Party.
The big question is, of course, how do you offer conservatism in a workers republic? Conservatism is ideologically a bourgeois ideal, one unfit for a workers republic. This has been the major identity issue for the GNP. And with the Daenists out, the crisis is still remaining. Sure, the GNP isn't bleeding anymore, but it still has a major wound. It still has the question of, what is the point of its existence? The XIP has figured out its own interpretation of the question of how conservatism works in a workers republic, with the Daenists promoting moralism. But the GNP? It still has the question of keeping nationalists, social monarchists and whatever defines traditionalists together and in one camp.
So, where does the GNP go? Well, it's hard to say. It's not easy to find a conservative adjacent message that fits a workers republic when you can't use moralism without sounding like the XIP. The GNP can mold into being the go to Left Wing Nationalist Party, but by then it's less of a conservative socialist party and more of a nationalist party. It could also go to the Social Monarchists, who no doubt cast a very long shadow in the Xsampan Right, but it would kill off any decent chances of entering government due to the peculiar nature of the Social Monarchists. The GNP isn't in any good position and unless they can figure out their identity, they're likely to enter minor party status and continue declining. And given their own Party Leader chose to resign last year and become an independent, the optics aren't exactly optimistic.
Whatever the case, the XIP has been rallied around by the Xsampan Right due to offering a coherent message and it's likely that they can very much rally the right to make good gains in 5695. And if the XIP can do that, then the GNP is likely to suffer another major decline.
