The Trigunian disaster and the flowers of hope in a desolated land: a detailed timeline of Nadiya's tumultuous bloody birth

As part of wider push from the government to streamline the institutions of Nadiyan Confederation in accordance with the amendments adopted by the Constitutional Convention, the Nadiyan Commission for Veterans, Martyrs, Due Rights, and Reconciliation or NCVMDR for short has updated its website dedicated to Trigunian Wars and Trigunian general in general. The Nadiyan Commission for Education, Discipline, and School Reforms has also launched a update of its historical curriculum which it considers as "too biased and ignores facts to shelter well established beliefs" after a coalition of historians, archeologists, philosophes, and sociologists denounced the biased retelling of the Trigunian Disaster by hyper focusing on the atrocities committed by the Trigunian Tsardom instead of talking about the crimes orchestrated by members of the NEC themselves such as the deployment of biological weapons against civilian targets in 5567 until 5668 by the Institute during their own rebellion against the Tsardom. I) Build up to the collapse of Tsarist Authority (5555-61)

5550-5553: Victory of the reformist and pro democracy caucus within the March 17th Committee in party elections and legalization of parties other than the MK-17

5554-5555: The utopianist United Trigunia of the Future, the communist All-Trigunian Communist Party, the liberal Trigunian Liberal Union, and the conservative Imperial Conservative Party. The new parties openly call for more reforms to be done in the Tsardom.

May 24th, 5558: The first ever free and fair elections are held under the Tsardom. The MK-17 see their one party rule collapse in favor of the ICP and Liberals with OTB grabbing the media's attention

December 5558: Militants of a religious sect created during the Corporate era, known as the Children of Yaoshi, release a sealed bioweapon sealed in an abandoned research facility.

January 5559: The virus spreads like wildfire across the rural area of Lesnov leading to the governor of the region to the declare the state of emergency and imposing a lockdown. The virus is nicknamed the Bloody Tears Virus due to its strange symptoms targeting the eyes

February 5559: The Minister of health downplays the virus by comparing to a seasonal flu and refuses Lesnov's demand for emergency funding. Meanwhile the TBV reaches Vrosnok, who also imposes a lockdown and declares the state of emergency as death cases skyrocket across the Kirikan island. MPs of the Rainbow Pact urge the government to act by carrying out lockdowns nationwide

April 5559: The government finally orders a total lockdown of the country after cases of the BTV were confirmed in the Bashnya. Protests erupt denouncing the hypocrisy of the cental government as regions are left to fend for themselves with Brakav and Nyrmenstoni both declaring the state of emergency.

May 5559: The government lifts the ban on armed paramilitary groups and firearm access in the name of freedom. The Children of Yaoshi orchestrate a terrorist attack in Rodashyam which causes opposition parties to form their own paramilitary groups. The Trigunian Central Bank decries the economic snowball that's causing the economy to deteriorate rapidly.

Septembre-October 5558: The security situation in the isles keep on deteriorating to the point of Neftkomp filing for bankruptcy due to repeated and organized terrorist attacks on its extraction sites. The TCB officially calls in Trigunia's economic collapse as Seperatist and opposition backed paramilitaries report record breaking enrollment numbers

May 24th, 5561: The Utopianists rise as favorites from the election as they become the biggest block in the Duma. The Rainbow Pact manages to wipe the CIP out of the legislature in a historic upset.

May 26th, 5561: Afon Kiselev refuses to recognize the election results as legitimate by calling them unconstitutional and undemocratic, he suspends the Duma indefinitely with the tacit approval of the Tsar

May 27th, 5561: The governor of the central bank commits suicide during a live broadcast after stating that the Tsardom has defaulted on all of its debts and that there is no hope anymore. The Rainbow Pact calls on the citizens to protest the suspension of the Duma.

September 8th, 5561: The Duma Massacre is orchestrated against protesters present in front of the Duma building in Rodashyam. It's followed by Kiselev officially banning all political parties deemed as "unholy" and "undermining the sovereignty of Trigunia", this causes paramilitaries to mobilize as reports of troops, politicians, and scientists moving to unknown locations all across the archipelago.

II) The First Trigunian War (5561-67)

October 1st, 5561 at 00:00: The October Revolutionary Declaration is released all over social media and propagated through TV and radio as the governors of Brakav, Lesnov, and Vrosnok declare independence from the Tsardom. Kozaki seperatists take over Zarvospol and proclaim the Kozaki People's Liberation Front while members of the Children of Yaoshi cult take advantage of the chaos to topple the scientific government of the Solmogrod Viral Zone

October 1st, 5561: Afon Kiselev declares martial law nationwide leading to the proclamation of military governorates over Brakav and Nirmenstoni alongside the formation of the All-Trigunian Imperial Pact.

February 5562: The Trigunian Imperial Navy defects and sides with the rebels following the Pavlina bridge incident, they immediately began shelling Rodashyam and major Tsarist cities alongside imposing a strict embargo against the ATIP

June 5564: Following successful liberation of Lesnov, Vrosnok, and southern Brakav, the rebel states convene in Volosgrad to form the Nadiyan Economic Community as the frontline begins stalling in Brakav and Kozacchyna and the new breakaway states begin discussing taking over old Neftkomp assets to fund the war.

January 5563: Anarchists in Brakav, Nova Beagukiyan scientists in Radin, and Pan-Kerisians in norther Kozacchyna take advantage of the stalemate and the harsh winter conditions to rebel against the Tsardom which causes the R-N-B trench line to collapse and for the war to reignite again.

July 5567: After 3 years of intense fighting, The ATIP agrees to a ceasefire with the NEC following the total destruction of the Bashnya seen as the Tsarist symbol of power over the population. Both sides agree to establish a DMZ seperatinh them from each other while still refusing to recognize the other side.

III) The Warlord Era and recovery from the war (5567-5620)

September 5667: Members of the NEC begin talks concerning the reconstruction effort following the war. The Nadiyan Ruble is rolled out as a unifying currency as member states agree on centralizing the NEC

November 5567:  Formation of the Nadiyan Reconstruction Commission with Chwa Seung-Ming as its first ever leader, this lays the foundation of the NEC transition into a proper intergovernmental organization as the new commission is tasked with handling reconstruction and preparing elections.

August 5568: The first round of elections are held across all 7 member states under the supervision of the NRC. Even tho men were barred from voting in Vrosnok, the newly created NCEFT reported promising results as it insured the fairness and transparency of the elections by broadcasting the vote count live.

November 5670: Calculations from the NRC find that for the new independent states to be fully rebuilt, the NEC must spend the equivalent of 2700% of the Trigunian GDP pre economic collapse. Yet, unemployment hits lowest percentage due to the working population being mobilized for reconstruction.

February-March-April 5575: Following an attempted coup against the Utopianist government in Vrosnok by pro-tsarist forces and another coup being prevented in Kozacchyna after it's plotters were busted by Kozaki intelligence, Vrosnok and Kozacchyna implemented harsh Matriarchist laws barring men from every holding a position higher than a mayor, with the former even clamping down even more on masculinist organizations.

May 5585: The Nadiyan General Assembly passes a landmark resolution recognizing and codifying indigenous rights by recognizing the crimes committed against them by previous governments while the Pan-Kerisian horde tried but failed at jelbifying its population. Ideas such as a unification of the isles under the name of Nadiya start gaining traction across the organization and its member states.

June 5590: Following popular demands from within the member states if the NEC, the NGA is reformed into a multiparty legislative assembly tasked with elected a Secretary-General. This causes for regional parties to begin discussing the formation of NEC-wide parties.

January 5593: Kozacchyna and Vrosnok form the Nadiyan Political Action Group as a lobby firm to push for greater centralization of power within the NEC after they recently announced the unification of local oil companies into one, the Nadiyan Petroleum Compound aka Nadcomp.

March 5595: The first NGA elections are held with pan-Nadiyan and Matriarchist parties dominate the legislature with formation of the Pastel Coalition between the MUP-SC(now SN)-Love promising to radically reshape the social and religious landscape in the NEC.

April 5595 - February 5620: A great schism happens in 5596 as a group of female priests, archbishops, and nuns rebel against the Augustan Church of Trigunia to declare the Matriarchal Church of Nadiya, even tho the scriptures remain the same the leadership system barres men from becoming something higher than a bishop. It's quickly followed by a series of educational reforms focused on teaching young people traditional matriarchal valeus and to allign themselves with the MCN over the ACT, this works greatly with the female population while the male population clinginess to the ACT begins flattering. In 5610, the MCN reportedly becomes the fastest growing religious institution in the NEC, overtaking the ATC as the leading church in the isles.

IV) The Second Trigunian War, or War of National Liberation. (5620-23)

April 5620: Tsarist forces launch a surprise offensive by invading the DMZ and breaching the ceasefire agreement. Zarvospol is bombed by the Imperial Air force while SG Tatyana Artemievna tears the treaty of Rodashyam apart in a live address.

July 5620: Both sides unilaterally withdraw from all international treaties settings rules on warfare. The NEC authorizes the institute to torpide Tsarist forces using infects missiles with the BT-67 bioweapon, while the government in Rodashyam officially conscripts children over the age of 13 into the imperial army.

January 5621: NEC forces launch a counteroffensive and manage to successfully penetrate Tsarist territory, Brakavan and Anarchist troops move quickly toward Kaiserberg.

March 27th, 5621: NEC forces emerge victorious during the Battle for Kaiserberg, the Imperial Governorate of Brakav capitulates followed quickly by the governorate in Nirmenstoni.

October 13th, 5621: Seeing the inevitable collapse of the Tsardom, princess Maria alongside her sisters and mother Tsarina Katharina release the Second October Revolutionary Declaration and proclaim the Rodashyam People's Commune and urge the Tsar to surrender unconditionally to the NEC

December 26th, 5622: Tsar Ivan V announces the Tsardom unconditional surrender to the NEC and their allies after the fall of Rodashyam to the revolt and crushing defeat in the Siege of Svetograd.

March 8th, 5623: Ratification of the Treaty of Petrograd, the Trigunian Tsardom is officially portioned into 5 independent republics alongside Tsar Ivan V proclaiming the death of Trigunia and its abolition as a sovereign state in Terra

V) Reconstruction, Reconciliation, and the Birth of Nadiya

July 5623: The isles are hit with an outbreak of the BTV caused from its use by the institute during the 2TW

March 5624: The new independent republics intensify their derodashyanfication campaign by making languages such as Kozaki, Dundorfian and Krivian compulsory over Rodashyan

May 1st, 5624: The NGA officially launches the Unification Protocol and sets in motion the procedures for integrating the republics with each other and help strive toward a unified government in the isles.

5625: The NEC launches massive economic projects aimed at rebuilding the archipelago quickly as it manages to successfully reduce the severity of the BTV thanks to the Wongi vaccine following another outbreak.

5627: Post war elections of the NGA witness a strong showing from pro-unification parties alongside the inauguration of monarchists and Nova Beagukiyan nationalists

5630: Economic reports from the NCB affirm that the 5 republics have been successfully integrated with one another.

5631: A Trigunian revanchist group orchestrates a terrorist attack in Rodashyam, forcing the NGA to create a reconciliation commission 

5632: The Supreme Cooperative Court releases a landmark rulling allowing for foreigners to take part in the Nadiyan political world even if they are a non permanent citizen.

5633: Monarchists win big in the NGA elections and agree to form a government with the SRs, monarchy referendum scheduled after the start of the Constitutional Convention.

5634: The Constitutional Convention begins working on a constitutional draft after it was successfully approved of by 84% of the isles' population in a referendum

5635: Confederalism is adopted as the government style of a post unified Nadiya alongside collective leadership in the form of a presidential council that acts as the head of state

5636: Adoption of the socialized economic model for the country alongside the introduction of amendments guaranteeing multiparty democracy through proportional representation

5637: The monarchy is restored after the victory of the yes vote in the referendum, but the Tsarina is granted no political power other than acting as a head of state alongside the Presidential Council, turning Nadiya into a Diarchy.

5638: The CoN and CoJ are added granting Nadiya a Tricarmeral legislature alongside the 6 major cities in the NEC become capitals of Nadiya, 5 languages are recognized as official ones

5639: Nadiyans approve of the proposed constitution for the Nadiyan state and paving the way for unification
