Coinciding with the National Holiday for the Celebration of Love and Family, the Nadiyan Commission for Statistics, Forecasts, & Censuses officially kick-started the 9 months long effort of the decade census, but this edition is even more special than the last.

While the previous editions were often overlooked by the general population as another round of useless data and mandatory questionnaires they had to answer. The 5700 census, also called the Census of the Century, is set to show if the Nadiyan experiment was a total win or a total flop. 

Already, the NCSFC has begun dispatching thousands of their officers across the nation alongside opening up a website for volunteers that will help them get trained and deployed in the ground quickly especially since the current effort is focused on rural and isolated areas often overlooked by previous censuses. 

Whilst officers collect data, the NCSFC struck an agreement with the NCB to also process and analyse the economy data from all the previous yearly economic reports done by the NCB's board of directors in order to compare the developments in other aspects of society in correlation with the economic growth in the archipelago.

In addition to the NCB, the Nadiyan Commission for Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the participation of the country's universities into the effort of studying the data collected from the field workers and helping established forecasts for the upcoming 20 years after the conclusion of the census. 

"This census is the opportunity of a lifetime," says Myshkin Bogdan, a supporting doctorate in Statistics and teacher at the Rodashyam-3 University. "I get to study date in real time over such a span of time that covers a large landmass. This only happens once in a century, and I'm glad to be taking part in this one."
