Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Carolina II Ananto flew with her Foreign Minister, Sir Thomas Harney, and trade Minister Jamar Rogers, to officially open the newly completed Luncasi Commercial Port. The port, which will serve the Free City of Luncasi and links into the larger Tripartite Kingdom of New Endralon, Kizenia, and Kuzaki, is aimed at dramatically increasing direct commerce between Keris and northern Seleya, and is expected to provide a major boost to the local and regional economy. Delivering the speech in Egelian, Her Imperial Majesty dedicated the port to the spirit of cooperation between Kalistan and Kizenia.

The crowd was delighted at the Empress' dedication and greatly appreciated her attempts at speaking Kizenian. Following the port's dedication, she attended a reception held by the Mayor of the Luncasi Free City and leading members of the City Government and notable Kalistani Expatriates, all of whom play a major role in the City's economy, and who contributed financially to the port's construction.

The opening of the port was accompanied by an official proclamation that henceforth, all direct trade between Kalistan and Keris will go through Luncasi. "It is far more efficient to use a port almost due north of Kalistan to trade at than to travel around to a far away port," said Her Imperial Majesty's Trade Minister, Mr. Jamar Rogers. "Both sides are predicted to save significant transit costs on trade between the two continents with the opening of the port, and Kalistan will provide further incentives for Kalistani shipping interests to sell exclusively in Luncasi." The opening of the port is expected to save Kalistani buyers and sellers more than ₭10 Billion in its first year.
