Bianjie to kickstart its rolling stock manufacturing industry with the first plant in Fetembi
Following the decade-long implementation of the government's GTSE roadmap to grow the economy and domestic industry, a manufacturing plant opens in Wehealin Province

"Bianjie has the resources: we are rich with metals, [...] we have extremely talented people and workers. [...] So I do not doubt the need for this. [...] We can do it, because we know how to", said then-industry minister Giocangga Cimos at the presentation of the government's ten-year GTSE roadmap before the nation's legislature.

The decade-long investment megaproject, the "Growth That Strengthens Everyone" plan, launched by the government of then-Premier Heshen Asuka, set out a promise and detailed step-by-step proposal to invest up to 10 billion g'an into the domestic manufacturing industry, as a part of the larger economy growth mindset, practised by the State Council and the ruling Socialist People's Party. As a part of the plan, the investment of 9,3 billion g'an was expected to go towards the enhancement, reform and enlargement of the pre-existing mass production automotive industry, among those, the state-owned Khanate Car Factory company, usually known as the Haseku. On the other side, however, the 89-page-long proposal also included a point about the creation of the national rolling stock manufacturer, which would be focused on supplying the domestic railway operators with the locomotives, electric multiple units EMUs) and other components.

And thus, the Togeksu company, named after the Bianjian mountain ranges, was founded as a joint venture of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Trade (MEIT) and the Wehealin Province, as the first plant of the company is expected to be located in the suburbs of Wehealin's administrative centre, Fetembi, considered to be the industrial capital of Bianjie, a home to the Benemu, the mining company, Haseku and now, Togeksu. According to premier Niohon Dusan, those were key factors for the choice of Fetembi as the location for the plant, as well as the city being a major infrastructure hub. "Fetembi is a connection between our north and south, west and east, a home to hard-working Bianjians. It was a natural and unanimous decision for us", the premier said. Fetembi mayor, Muke Aangang, who was present at the opening ceremony of the plant, has thanked the government for the choice of his city, and reaffirmed that the city administration will be doing everything possible to support the production, accessibility to the factory, hiring campaign, as well as funding.

Additionally, as a part of the GTSE plan, a reform of the resource extraction and metal production, to increase its efficiency, was implemented. "First of all, we obviously need more resources to be able to produce more and more", said the industry minister, Desiku Eraben. "On the other side, it is simply useful to make the most out of our mining". And, a cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Ersangi University of Technology has been announced to open vocational academies for railroad workers, manufacturing plant workers and miners in Tamnaba, the sister city of Fetembi, located in the neighbouring county. "We will make sure that our workers get the best available knowledge before being hired, or even during, to maximise the quality of their job, the quality of the outcome, and simply educate the masses, as socialist as this might sound", the premier Dusan has said.

Togeksu is expected to employ up to 500 people by the end of the second quarter of this year, possibly more than that, depending on the capabilities of the plant, and how fast it will be able to produce the first major products, like EMUs or locomotives, the newly-appointed CEO Yuwan Kang has said. "If we are going on the right track, we can be looking at the first bunch of trains, possibly 10 or 20, by the end of this year. But, we will update you all on this as time goes by", Kang said.
