Plans after Plans: Berger confirms Triad participation in tripartite Space Agency and affirms Presidential Support for a Triad-wide referendum on Himmelshterns future.

Both recent domestic headlines as well as international ones have raised piqued public interest in the maneuvering of the Berger cabinet which has yet to prove itself in sensitive political challenges. Two large issues have propped up since which show the potential of challenging President Bigman Berger in exactly this way, both show the opportunity of influencing the future of the Three Republics in fundamental way.

Himmelshterns Future

Since our last report on this issue, there have been considerable developments on the political level in regards to the question of Himmelshtern and the continued existence of the Triad Republic. President Berger now has surprisingly -and publicly – sided with the VVP’s advocates for holding a referendum on its future. Many political rivals have also supported this move, both Thallerist parties and the LRP have agreed to this course of action; the other non governing parties have either declined to take either side of the debate or have instead expressed more direct approaches. The far-right National Union has opted to frontally call for the seccession of Narikaton and Darnussia from the Triad as the Dual-Republic hence choosing to grant tacit support to Berger’s Referendum plan. While writing the script for this article, the Presidential Office has even gone as far as confirm the August 5704 as the official date for referendum. All this acceleration of political process in this regard has caused the City of Himmelshtern to be a battle-ground for various activists, NGO’s and other political entities to try to gain support to either stay or leave the Triad. One thing is for sure, the future of these Three Republics is now quite literally to be decided on the ballot in August.

Tripartite Space Agency

A recently presented plan by Lohn-Ginsl, the Minister of Science and Technology of Vanuku, has proposed to establish a three-sided join Space Agency by the Triad, Amudim and the Kingdom itself. While negotiations are still ongoing, delegations to Dundorf from the Directorate for Foreign Affairs are currently seeking approval from the Bundesregierung to use know-how acquired in the join Triad-Dundorfian satellite efforts which have been diligently working for decades. Minister of Defence – and related kin of the former President – Johanna Beidel (VVP), has agreed with the analysis of the Vanukese Ministry of Defence regarding the security-concerns around increased rocketry-efforts on a global level. “Our partners in the Triad Industry are ready, Passschiffe has ensured their support in this space-odysee.” said Corporate-Relations Secretary  in the Ministry of Economic Affairs Herbert Berhert (UTP-FTL). Even Berger himself has taken to responding to press-questions. "Well, obviously I'm in support of these efforts, but any Space-project influecenced by or hailing from the Triad ultimately can only have one goal. A. Giant. Fucking. Space-Casino."
