The "City of Arts" is about to be renamed again as a recent investigation launched by the Brakavan government found that the famous independentist poet Zoeter Rosenfeld had a history of sexual abuse and assault perpetrated against multiple women.
The proofs uncovered by the investigators led a massive uproar in Brakavan capital as many citizens, especially the youth, launched petitions to rename the city so "its legacy isn't soiled by a rapist". One of the petitions, created by the Brakavan Society of Arts, managed to gather the 1 million signatures requirements which quickly launched the issue to the Brakavan legislature for an emergency examination of the case.
The government quickly came up with a new name for the capital, that being Künstlerstadt meaning the "Artistic City". The propositions passed unanimously through the Brakavan parliament and the city council of Zoetergraaf with government workers already begining the process of tearing down the old government signs with the name of Zoeter still on them.
Furthermore, aligning with the renaming of Zoetergraaf. The Nadiyan Red Cross Society has announced the abandonment of the cross in favor of the a red square with a hallowed out center as the new symbol of the organization. The Society cited "the need for a clear separation between the church and the society" since the society was founded by nuns from the Matriarchal Church of Nadiya as a response for the Second Trigunian War.
