Khan Nilhuma swears in Semken Tan as the new Premier of Bianjie following the prolongued coalition negotiations

Just a month after the election of Semken Tan as the new leader of the ruling Socialist People's Party (SPP), the outgoing agriculture minister and her team were fully focused on delivering the government coalition outside of the typical "magenta" union of her and Progressive Communist (PCP) parties, respectively. And yet despite the more obvious choice of forming a coalition with the centrist pan-Dovanist Horizon party, which has already been the case in the past, during the late premier Kode's term, socialists' chief has been using her time and powers to persuade the party of Bianjian daenists, the True Path Party (TPP), also known as the Shindotō, to join her government. And her attempts came out successful, after the leader of Shindotō, Batu Esurhu, officially endorsed Tan for premiership, adding that his party "sees a great future for our country, believers and children under the leadership of Tan", and that "it will be a great honour to be part of the change".

Despite the number of negative reactions coming from both the SPP and PCP, with the more progressive and left-wing members of the parties attacking Tan for trying to move the coalition to the right, and allying with possibly religious political groups, such as the aforementioned Shindotō, to which the leader of socialists said: "If we want to make the country prosperous for everyone, we must be able to build bridges towards those willing to be a part of the reform, as well representnative of our demographics". Eventually, after a series of meetings within the left-wing parties, leaders of SPP and PCP came out with the final endorsement and stance behind the new coalition. Marsai Busuk and Jalušun Dagiya, the PCP's national secretary and leader of the orthodox Metzist wing of PCP, respectively, were both present at the press conference, reaffirming their support behind Tan. Busuk said that leaders of Shindotō were respectful, and open to resolving all the differences with his party. At the same time, Dagiya said that it was commendable to see TPP "stand for the workers of Bianjie", jokingly suggesting that Shindotō should adopt Daenist socialism as their new ideology.

And thus, on the 23 day of June, when the Khanate Yuan convened to vote for the new head of the government of Bianjie. For the first time in 75 years, there were three candidates on the ballot, as the parties composing the New Right Alliance (NRA), the Bianjie Sovereignty Party (BSP) and the National Conservative Union (NCU), refused to endorse or support the Democratic People's Party (DPP) candidate, and instead nominate their own, the leader of BSP, Eidu Arakcou for premier, as the right-wing coalition of two parties had enough members of the Yuan to nominate (28 out of required 23). Arakcou said that the NRA understands the right has no mathematical possibility to win, and his nomination exists to rather stir up the democrats, to "make them understand" that support can only be earned by "returning to core values". DPP leader and premierial candidate, Erdeni Niri, has in response attacked NRA, calling them "socialist double agents", accusing of imploding the right-wing opposition from inside, polarising the electorate and disuniting the conservative voices. "We are not here to bicker, we are here to defeat the 'magenta regime', and evidently someone refuses to understand it, instead opting to do this petty move", said Niri.

In the end, leader of the socialists, Semken Tan, won on the first ballot, with 119 votes for, coming from the SPP, PCP and TPP, while the Horizon's 9 MPs decided to abstain, with the leader of centrists, Alin Feimo, saying that "no one tried to ask us, and thus we didn't feel the need". Democrat candidate, Niri, received all 73 DPP votes, while Arakcou got all 28 NRA votes. Therefore, Tan was proclaimed the premier-elect by the President of the Khanate Yuan, with the Khan Nilhuma inviting her to Orchid Palace, where he would officially task her with forming the government on the next day. Tan is expected to present her government by the 29th of June, however, it is possible that the presentation might happen on the first day of July, as parties are not finished with the position negotiations.
