Togeksu launches its first electric multiple unit passenger trains for a test across the Wehealin Province

After almost eight years since the newly-created state-owned rail stock manufacturer, Togeksu, was officially opened by the State Council and it's GTSE initiative, the company revealed it has produced the first batch of electric multiple units (EMUs) passenger trains, which will be tested by the manufacturer, in a close cooperation with the provincial government of Wehealin, as well as the national railways operator, the Bianjie National Railways (BNR), across the province's railroads, the company's CEO Yuwan Kang wrote on his Hatoyu account. "According to our agreement with the BNR, once the series of tests will be over, we will officially transfer the first batch of EMUs producted by our factory in Fetembe to the operator, under the single condition of the BNR to launch another railway line coming from Fetembi to a location of choice of the BNR", Kang wrote. In response to the Shogyoshi's request for a comment, the representatives of the national railway operator stated the aforementioned "location of choice" will become a direct connection to Ambagašan.

The first of ten electric trains that will connect the nation's industrial centre with the northern coastal major city were presented earlier this week. With local and national government officials present, alongside the Togeksu leaders and workers, the train series, officially called Togeksu Hodun (meaning fast, quick in Bianjie language), were presented in Tamnaba, the sister city of Fetembi, across the county. Those trains, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation, Yazhu Chen, says, are developed to provide the rapid connections between the cities, in this case Fetembi and Ambagašan. Each car of the Hodun train will feature 10 automatic doors on the each sides (20 in total), with 230 seats (190 fixed, 20 folding and 20 PMR), accodomating up to 750 passengers. In additiona to audible signals for the operations of the train doors, the units include lightning systems, with green for opening and red for closing, respectively, to assist the passengers with hearing impeditions, as a part of the accessibility campaign, and general help to identify the movements. Additionally, the cars will include up to a dozen screens displaying service information, extensive luggage storage spaces.

Overall, the leaders of the company, as well the national and local leaders present the first trains as the success, expressing their hopes for the nationwide achievement, and possibly expanding above and beyond to the continental clients, if not worldwide. "If we ourselves build a comfortable, quick, cheap, but at the same time truly high-quality projects such as the Hodun series, we ought to establish ourselves as the industrial giant of the continent, as well as a trustworty and valuable partner, and that is the best outcome of it all", the foreign correspondent of Shogyoshi, Alin Loyo, writes on Hatoyu. 

To main the new trains, it is also expected that Togeksu will begin contrsuction of the company's new deport, located near the manufacturer's factory site in Fetembi, which will be handling the maintenance of the trains for up to 20 years ahead. Acccording to the plans, revealed to Shogyoshi, the depot could span as much as 4000 square meters, feature two maintenance taracks, workshops, warehouses for tarins, quarters for the company's workers, as well as project offices. Additional work will involve a third auxillary track with wheel-turning equipemnt, train washing tunner, and a traction substation for the new track sections. The rail stock manufacturer expectes the deport to be completed by the end of the third quarter of this year, in September.
