Kalistan might actually be the same as Kundrati if we just go off explicitly economic based RP. I find economic development RP quite boring specifically because it is so unrealistic in a RP-only scenario where I can say I can produce whatever I want and don’t have to realistically acknowledge any real costs.
To the point of the OP, I would, and have, quite literally preferred to watch trees grow.
To Zanz, all points well made. Just on the 1USD equals 1 LOD. The issue is that gives the LOD the same primacy in Terra that the USD has. It’s like being locked into Bretton Woods for 3500 years. Great for Lodamun, and assumes Lodamun has the most stable currency regardless of what it does good or bad. Not so great for every other currency which only depreciates against it. Conceptually It creates a world of one USA and after 3500 years 83 Zimbabwe’s on stereoids.
It shouldn’t be the LOD because Lodamun should have to float against the USD like every other currency does. The only reason it was the LOD was because Siggon developed the calculator. It wasn’t even supposed to be that. It just became that.
Otherwise these are things we need to also consider for sure.
