Altaai - The sun rose over Altaai’s skyline today as diplomats, ministers, and heads of state gathered in the grand halls of the Altaai Conference Center for a historic moment: the launch of the Dovani Union (DU), a flexible, modular union uniting the continent’s political, economic, and diplomatic frameworks. The DU marks a decisive shift from traditional one-size-fits-all organizations. Every member joins a core political and diplomatic framework, while optional pillars, ranging from freedom of travel and customs union to joint debt, union-wide trade policy, and the formerly separate Reconstruction and Stability Agency (RASA) and Dovani Economic Assistance Bloc (DEAB), can be adopted individually.
“This is a union built on choice, trust, and shared responsibility,” said President Yeke Anarba of New Verham, the conference host. “We are merging institutions that once operated separately, RASA and DEAB, into a single modular system. States can participate where it suits them, and still benefit from collective expertise and stability.”
RASA provided financial stabilization and reform support to nations like New Verham after the economic crises and civil war of the last decade. DEAB, modeled after for economic integration, coordinated trade policies, investment programs, and regulatory alignment among its members. Both are now optional pillars within the Dovani Union, allowing states to engage selectively in financial aid, trade, and development programs. Representing the founding full members were People’s Commissar of Foreign Affairs Lhakpa for the Democratic Republic of Xsampa and Dorgon Mija, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Bianjie. Lhakpa emphasized that the DU represents “a new form of continental solidarity, where nations retain sovereignty but gain the ability to cooperate deeply in areas that matter most.”

It manages logistics, monitors compliance with the core charter, and ensures smooth interaction between optional modules like DEAB or RASA and the broader union. It is led by the Secretary of the Dovani Union, serving a 10 year term and rotating by alphabet between member states. Then we have the Dovani Court, providing legal oversight for the core framework. It adjudicates disputes between member states, ensures compliance with the union’s charter, and interprets rules governing the core institutions. Its decisions bind all members, even if they later choose not to participate in certain optional pillars.
