SFRP forcibly dissolved over "concerns for democratic respect"; As protests occur, Kuniyuki looks to democratization and continued economic recovery.

As one extreme falls, so too does another. With the dissolution of the communists still fresh in political memory, the Kuniyuki Cabinet was quick to pivot to the far right, while the iron was still hot, most notable, the SFRP. However, tackling the SFRP is an entirely different beast compared to the communists, as the far right is not only more popular, but has more grassroots backing. Undeterred, the Kuniyuki Cabinet and particularly the Ministry of Justice began a months long investigation, looking at any angle to strike the far right. And this week, the Ministry of Justice has confirmed that, due to concerns over respect for democracy, and the democratic process, the Seko Fundamentalist Restoration Party will be forcibly dissolved, due to it's involvement in democratic backsliding in prior SFRP Administrations.
Almost immediately, outrage came from the far right, as protests swept the nation, but the Kuniyuki Cabinet has shifted direction once again, trying to define the narrative, has announced that the State Diet will be restored in January, and snap elections will be held next November, and that over the course of 5713, Kuniyuki will work with the State Diet to enact re-democratization laws and continue the KRT Plan. Kuniyuki has confirmed that he will not run for re-election, and will leave it up to the Liberal Party to determine a replacement next November.
As both extremes are down politically, and economic recovery is slowly but surely occuring, and siphoning away support for extremist solutions, Seko may see next years elections with a sense of optimism and hope for once. Whatever the case, the extremists will likely enter the State Diet again, albeit in a heavily reduced and fragmented form as some segments of the population, minor as they may be, will support them. In the coming months, we can expect a successor party for the far left and far right to emerge, but for now, the centre stands alone and relatively victorious.
