Site: Kampania National Park
Location: Kampania Voivodeship, Valruzia
Applicable criteria for assessment: v., vi., vii.
Reference: Kampania National Park, Tourism in Kampania

Background: Kampania National Park is the "crown jewel" of Valruzia's natural heritage and a designated biosphere reserve covering one-third of the Kampania Voivodeship. Known for its strict environmental protections, the park serves as a vital sanctuary for indigenous megafauna, including the Valruzian autoctonous species of bison, moose, bears and eagles. Its landscape is formed by dramatic geological formations and diverse ecosystems from vast sequoia forests to massive hydrological systems.

Key landmarks within the park include the Dragon's Leap – the nation's largest waterfall by water capacity – and Miewa Lake, a massive freshwater basin that serves as a central hub for the region's wildlife. Additionally, the park is home to "The Old Watcher", a 2,000-year-old sequoia standing 78 meters tall, which holds deep significance in local folklore and remains one of the oldest living organisms on Terra.

The park represents an exceptional example of a protected wilderness where traditional land use and modern conservation coexist. Its management successfully coordinates a high-volume tourism with environmental preservation, making it a primary site for scientific research and the protection of Valruzia's natural and living history.
