Zuidervoort - First Minister of the Vanukean Autonomous Region, Menno Water, has caused uproar in other parts of the country following remarks where he called for better relations with "our true homeland: Vanuku". Politicians throughout New Verham, going as far as Südland, have called out First Minister Water for his comments, accusing him of promoting seperatist sentiment throughout the majority Vanukean regions of the country.
Water has been a controversial first minister in recent years, surviving scandal after scandal.
